Something was scratchy on her face.

Clarke scrunched her nose and moved her head, realizing it was Bellamy's scruff that rubbed up against her face.

Once the realization hit she moved her face closer, her head fit perfect right on the side of his neck. Bellamy's arm laid over her stomach and even though he was asleep his hand wrapped around her, holding her tight.

It had been a few weeks now that Bellamy had come to stay in Clarke's tent, it was almost as if he had just moved in slowly over time. He would leave some clothes over and some of his work stuff, and the pile would stay the same size but would switch out with fresh clothes and belongings.

It hadn't occurred to Clarke that normally couples ask one another to move in, with Bellamy it just started to happen. But she definitely kept the thought of making it official in the back of her mind as she laid in bed with Bellamy pratically laying on top of her.

His skin was so soft as she pressed small kisses on his chest to his shoulder and then leaving one on his nose causing him to stir.

He groaned and moved away throwing his pillow over his head which got Clarke to laugh, "Bellamy we slept in way too long today, we gotta get out of bed or people will be wondering if we went missing."

"Fine let them." He muffled from under the pillow.

Clarke grabbed the pillow and as soon as she did Bellamy jumped her and pushed her down till he was laying on top of her looking down. She giggled at him from his drastic change.

"Let's just stay in bed all day, you and me. Not a care in the world." He looked into her bright eager blue eyes. "Who cares what they think." He leaned down and kissed her, his forearms by her face. Clarke hummed with approval but quickly broke the kiss.

"As amazing as that sounds we kinda run the camp Bellamy, what would that say if the two leaders spent the day in bed." She moved a curl from his face slowly brushing her hand on his face. He leaned into her touch just looking at her realizing she was right but he seriously would spend all day in bed with her.

Clarke moved her hand to tangle her fingers in his hair, she loved his dark curls that had actually gotten to be the longest he had ever had his hair since he had been down.

"You need a haircut." She looked up at him with amusement in her eyes.

He sighed and leaned down to kiss her again, "Alright I guess there is just sooooo much for us to do today, doesn't look like I'm winning that argument anytime soon."

Clarke smiled and rolled out from underneath him and stood by the side of the bed giving him her hand, "I said we have a lot to do today but doesn't mean we can't have fun while getting ready. Care to join me in the shower?" She smirked down at him.

Bellamy practically jumped out of bed grabbing her hand and started to lead the way.

"I had some odd signals being picked up today on the radio, you think the Ark is within reach to be contacted?" Raven was shoving her face full of food. Who knew working with technology could make someone so hungry.

Clarke sat and pondered on the thought, they hadn't been able to reach her mom or Jaha since they had landed. She wondered if maybe they were trying to reach out to them. It was possible but it didn't seem so likely. This made her worry, what if everyone up there was okay instead of dead the way they all presumed they would be once they made down to earth and never heard from them.

Clarke chose to believe her mom wasn't dead and that one day the Ark would come down one day. She fiddled with her food, moving it around with her fork not feeling hungry at the thought. She realized she hadn't responded back to Raven so she shrugged deciding it was good enough.

"Well I'm gonna work on the radio some more and see if anything else comes up. Wanna join?" Raven's plate was completely empty. Clarke on the other hand not so much. Clarke decided she wanted to stay for a while longer, why? She had no idea, because she didn't think she would be hungry anytime soon.

She stayed at the empty table wondering about what Raven had mentioned, it was almost like she had completely forgot about her life before earth. She had been so busy down here with everything that had been happening and Bellamy that she forgot about the Ark.

She was deep in thought when someone placed a kiss against her cheek, and she knew of only one person who would do that. She leaned into the kiss and turned her head to see Bellamy moving to sit next to her. "Raven left already?"

"Yeah", she smiled at him as he started to eat. Bellamy noticed the amount of food on her plate and how she had barely touched it. He knew something must have been bothering her.

"Whatcha thinking about?" He tried to angle his body towards her to give her his attention.

"Hmm?" She turned realizing he was picking up on her spacing out. "Oh, I don't know Raven was talking about the Ark and I realized I almost forgot about my life up there. My mom and everything. I think I have been so preoccupied with all the Finn drama and running camp, I just think of this as my life now." Her eyebrows furrowed together as she was processing what she was saying. "Is that bad?"

Bellamy saw her frustration with herself at her realization and wanted to help immediately, "No.. but I'm sure the thought of the people you love being up there and forgetting for a moment could be upsetting. You've been busy Clarke, and you've had to take on so much it's okay." He placed his hand on her shoulder giving it a squeeze.

She had listened to what he said and she knew he was right but Clarke had always been so good abut putting effort into her relationships and being there for others this felt hurtful but to herself. She did know one thing though, that Bellamy had to do with a big part of her happiness and when she thought about that she didn't feel so bad. Yet something kept nagging at her about what Raven said and it bothered her all day.

Clarke had put the last stitch in, her face focused on the cut she was working on. One of the kids had cut himself playing with his friends in camp, but Clarke was there in the Med Clinic as usual and knew just what to do.

"Alright kiddo. You should be good to go, just no messing around for a while for me please?" The kid nodded and said his thank you, she ruffled his hair and sent him on his way.

She began to clean up, and remove the used utensils from her station when she heard the strangest sound. It sounded like a rocket taking off except the sound was beginning to get louder. She heard people talking outside and ran from inside the tent.

What she was greeted with outside had her wondering if she was seeing correctly.

There was the Ark, but it was flying to the ground.

Clarke couldn't believe it, she saw it moving and knew what was about to happen but wasn't ready to see the Ark crash into the ground. An explosion not too far behind. People were panicking and running around her talking to each other about what they had just witnessed. Clarke couldn't move from the spot where she stood. Her mom was on there, and so many other people that she cared about.

She knew they needed to go check out the explosion and see what happened. She needed Bellamy. Luckily he was thinking the same thing and when she turned to find him, he was already there.
