"You ready?" Leah questioned looking up at Quill. He was pale and leaning against Leah for support.

"We are going to get her back." Quill said with so much desperation in his voice. It was like he was trying to convince himself of it. Leah hugged him into her.

"We are going to get all of them back. And I am going to tear into these vampires." Leah growled. She was pissed and on the verge of phasing. She needed her cousins back and she needed Embry back. She knew her and Embry had broken things off but she had this feeling of helplessness… she was not able to save him yet and she wanted him home.

"Oh? You're going to tear into us?" A high pitch voice snarled across the forest. The hair on Leah and Quill's body stood up. They felt a cold breeze and smelled a sharp vampire stench across the forest just 20 feet from where they stood.

Quill looked up toward that direction and almost fell to the floor. This vampire had Claire pinned up against the vampire's front. It had its hand grabbing her hair holding her close as she fought its grasp. He was so relieved to see her alive but got revengeful smelling her blood and Embry's.

"Quill hold it together. We can get her to us." Leah shook him snapping him out of his thoughts of doom.

"Oh? You think you get this human and get to kill us?" The young vampire snarled. Suddenly another vampire came to stand beside her. Quill and Leah growled in response. Claire was covered in blood and bruises. Most of the blood smelled as if it came from Embry. Quill felt sick seeing she covered in Embry's blood.

"Arlene there are other vampires around here." The male responded walking up and smelling Claire. Quill almost lunged at him but Leah held him back. It wasn't a part of Alice's vision. She said they would take care of this vampire and only mentioned one. Leah's stomach dropped as they learned they were not covered.

"Send your vampires away and we can have a little chat?" The female smirked and Leah nodded.

"Guys beat it. I got this." Leah ordered hearing multiple barks of protest from the woods. Leah turned to look and Sam came from the woods.

"Sam! What the fuck!" Leah and Quill bit out. Sam grabbed Leah's hand and squeezed it.

"I have to get her back. I have to get them all back." He pleaded with his eyes. He wasn't moving and neither were her and Quill.

"Sam she's okay! Just unconscious!" Claire yelled across the field earning a sharp tug from the vampire. Quill went rabid and wanted to kill the female.

"Oh? Do please continue little girl! Please tell them how you got out? Tell them what we did to your other friend. How he screamed as we broke and cut and drained him! While you only could scream!" The vampire laughed along with the female.

"That's fucking it! I am going to fucking kill this bitch!" Leah screamed feeling her blood rush. They were torturing Embry and laughing about it. And Leah swore it was going to be the last time they laughed on the planet.

"You look like the unconscious one…" It snared making Sam shake with fear, anguish and anger.

"No I look like the last thing you will ever fucking see you fucking ugly ass cunt bloodsucker." Leah snarled physically shaking.

"She would be more entertaining than this one. This one just screamed." The male chuckled.

"Then make a trade." Leah snapped out. Sam roughly grabbed her and shook her. Quill collapsed and fell to the ground. Why did she make them that offer? He was choosing between saving his imprint and one of his best friends. Embry could never forgive him for hurting Leah.

"Leah! Are you fucking insane!" Sam yelled shaking her.

"Leah! Don't! Please don't! They are torturing Embry and they will do it to you! I am not worth it!" Claire screamed over and over fighting the grip of the vampire pulling her hair out and making her bleed.

"What do you think Silas?" The female smirked grabbing Claire's throat to choke her. Quill's life flashed before his eyes as he watched her turn blue. He tried to phase but his body was too weak from the crash. He didn't have enough calories in his system to burn; he was too weak. He began to run towards her but couldn't stay up. He kept trying but failed. He could only focus on her heart.

"Enough! You want me! Trade me for her!" Leah screamed fighting Sam's grip.

"Okay. Well everyone freeze and I'll let this bitch go. She makes it to him in twenty seconds and I'll let both of you bitches live. Deal?" She cackled earning a smirk from the male. Leah and Sam made eye contact. In this glance they knew what they had to do. Leah shook her head yes. Claire was let go suddenly and hesitantly began to get further away waiting for the trick.

"18 seconds left." The male snarled before breaking her wrist. Claire fell down in pain screaming and this is when all hell broke loose.

Quill bolted towards her and she managed to bolt towards him. Before the two vampires could even move Leah and Sam had phased bolting towards them. They outran Quill and covered Claire reaching the vampires first. Sam was slammed against a tree and Leah had managed to make contact with the female vampire. The rest of the pack came out just in time to make sure the male vampire didn't try to hurt Leah.

All Claire could focus on was Quill. Once she was in his arms she knew she would be alright. She bolted towards him feeling her arm snap and grind as she ran. Sure enough she made it to him and he held her tight as he watched the vampires get ripped to pieces by the pack. The Cullen clan guarded the home with all their loved ones in it.

Leah came jogging over to them now changed. It was the first time she had ever fought a vampire.

"You did well Leah… for just yourself before we got you." Jake remarked.

"I had a good trainer." She almost sobbed. Jake hugged her tightly into him.

"We are going to get him back." Jake swore clenching his jaw.

"I know. Because I have a plan." Leah growled walking towards the Cullen house.
