Chapter 15 – Midterms
"Elizabeth come on were going to be late" Henry begged as Elizabeth took her time getting ready.
"Its fine it makes us seem more important if we come in late"
"no Elizabeth it doesn't, this is a staff meeting not a party lets go"
"I am almost ready are the kids all ready to go"
"Yes, they have been they got up on time this morning and your going to make them late for school"
"All right calm down I am ready" Elizabeth yelled as she flew down the stairs.
Henry had a couple pieces of toast and a coffee to go ready for her. "Kids are in the car lets go"
"you really are the best you know that" Elizabeth kissed him quickly before going to the car
They got the kids to school and got into the staff meeting right as it was starting. Henry hated being late and feeling rushed. It was Monday morning at 7am they had to drop the kids off early as they had an all staff meeting at 7am how that could be convenient for anyone he would never know. Thankfully, Mike B had saved them a seat.
"See babe you worried for nothing" Elizabeth smiled and slid into the seat next to Mike. Henry just shook his head and got ready for the meeting.
When the meeting was over Elizabeth had to hurry off to her next class, she gave Henry a quick kiss on the cheek and walked towards her next class.
"Hey Dr. McCord, I was wondering if I could walk with you to class" Blake strolled up to her giving her a side eye. "you are being watched again ma'am"
"Seriously must be the stress of midterms I feel kind of bad for him" Elizabeth let out a deep breath.
"well, I will walk with you to class if you don't mind" Blake said as he pulled out his phone to text Mike and Henry.
Hey Ray, is back on the crazy train nothing happened yet he is just back to gaping at her like she is prey – Blake the bodyguard
Henry looked down at his phone and felt the rage build back up he thought maybe they were done with this. He knew Midterm stress could od crazy things to kids, but this was his wife, and he wasn't happy that she was going through this again.
Thanks Blake who will be walking her to her car tonight after class – hank the husband
I can if Blake can hang with her for a few minutes after class it always takes a little longer to get out on Midterms week. – Mike the Knight and shinning whatever

Henry was frustrated he called Ms. Janie and put her back on high alert along with Mitch so that way she was covered. They were going to Pittsburg for the break which he was thankful for he hated that this creep knows where they live. He just had to make it to Wednesday neither of them had scheduled a test for Thursday or Friday so they would be able to leave on Wednesday after their afternoon classes.
Elizabeth finished up her morning class she wanted to see Henry but knew he had class now they would not be able to meet until 3 as their classes intersected on Mondays and Wednesdays. Blake offered to walk her back to her office, but she said it was fine that she would be ok it was in the same building after all and there were students and professors everywhere. Elizabeth started to walk back to her class when Mike B ask if she wanted to go for a cup of coffee. She had a lot of work to do but could really use some coffee.
"It has to be quick I want to get going on grading, so I have some free time later" she told him as she turned around and walked with him to the coffee shop passing Ray who was down the hall still starting at her like she was prey. They went to the coffee stand and grabbed some coffee and headed back to their office.
When she got to her office the door was slightly open, she knew she had locked it Friday when she left for the day but maybe the cleaning crew had forgot to lock up behind themselves. Mike B looked at her with a nervous look on his face as he pushed the door open, he noticed her office had been vandalized. There was spray paint over the faces of Henry and her kids in the pictures in her office. She held her breath as she continued to look around. Tease was spray painted on the back of her door. Her and Mike both stepped back out of the office and mike called for security. Elizabeth thought about texting Henry but knowing he was in class and would be giving a midterm she didn't want to interrupt. Her next class she would have her TA run as it was just a review and she could tell Henry then. She texted him quickly

Henry looked down and was instantly worried. She was supposed to have class after his class so what was going on. He would go try to find her after class he decided.
Security came and then the local PD to make a report. Elizabeth grabbed what they would let her and went to one of the conference rooms to start on her grading. Tears had started to fall while she was grading papers, she couldn't concentrate she was scared not for herself, but that ray would go after Henry or the kids. It had to have been Ray she thought that is the only person who it could have been. Ray had been in her class this morning thou that seemed like a decent alibi but maybe it happened over the weekend. She tried to keep the tears at bay as she was safe, and her family was safe. She called the school and put them on high alert asking them to make sure Jason and Ali were handed to Ms. Janie directly from the teacher. Also, to make sure someone walked Stevie to the bus after school and that she was only dropped off to Mitch who would be at the end of the driveway. The school promised her they would keep a close eye. When she got off the phone, she noticed that Henry should be out of class by now, but he hadn't text her yet.
Elizabeth got up and needed to stretch her legs when she walked out in the hallway, she saw Henry standing outside of her office seeing the police tape across her door.
"Henry you were supposed to message me so I could talk to you" Elizabeth called out making Henry jump a little as he had been lost in his thoughts.
"Let's go into the conference room that is where I am working for now" Elizabeth grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the conference room.
Tears were steaming out of both their eyes when Henry shut the door behind him. He was grateful that this building wasn't made out of glass like his building was. He pulled her into a hug almost crushing her, but she didn't say anything as he always made her feel so safe.
"was this Ray? I am going to kill him" Henry spat out with more anger than he had intended scaring Elizabeth a little bit
"we don't know yet the police are going to investigate, and they are working on getting me another office as we speak." Elizabeth stroked his back as he held her tight neither wanting to let go.
"Elizabeth"
"Henry"
They both started tearing up and crying again. Both scared for the other and their children. "babe lets cancel our classes and go home for the day I don't want to be away from you I need to know your safe" Henry said through the tears.
"Babe you don't have any more classes, but I have my night class it's their midterm I have to stay and give it to them I promise I will have Blake or Mike with me at all times. We could go home until I have to come back tonight but I have to give the midterm tonight. We could pick up all 3 kids from school and give Ms. Janie the night off." Elizabeth was still in tears and Henry pulled her even tighter before almost agreeing.
"How about the kids and I drop you off tonight so your not driving here and walking to your class alone and then we can pick you up after class."
"No way babe I will have Blake meet me in the parking lot when I get here tonight but the kids can't stay up that late, they have school tomorrow I promise I will be ok."
"Fine let's go home" Henry started to help her pack up her stuff
"Do you have anything you need to grab from your office?" Elizabeth asked Henry before grabbing his hand and squeezing it.
"No, I have everything in my bag" Henry squeezed her hand back and they walked out to there car as Elizabeth got in she texted Blake and Mike.
Headed home with Henry until class tonight, Blake can you meet me in the parking lot if I text you when I am almost there it will make Henry feel better if not, I will be fine. – Elizabeth
Bullshit you will be fine if Blake cannot meet you I will, you will not be alone – Mike
I can meet you no problem just give me like a 15-minute heads up so I can make sure I make it to the parking lot on time and I am with Mike you will not be alone – Blake
Elizabeth smiled a small smile to herself it was nice having people who cared about her even if she could protect herself. If only she could get bodyguards for Henry and the kids then she would feel better. Henry saw the small smile on her face.
"You good babe"
"ya people coming through for you never gets old" Elizabeth squeezed his hand.
They drove to the Diner to sit and have lunch as it was silly to drive to the farm when the kids would need picked up soon. They sat and had lunch Henry was consistently touching Elizabeth he needed that assurance that she was ok and safe. They ate and talked and even laughed a little.
They got to Allison and Jason's school first and a little early wanting to go get them directly from class. Alli and Jason were both super excited to have both mom and dad pick them up. They then went and got Stevie.
"is everything ok mom why are you and dad both picking us up and don't you have class tonight. What's going on? Stevie was very inquisitive just like her mother.
"Everything is ok I just wanted to spend some time with you guys before my night class tonight I hate that I miss time with you on Mondays" Elizabeth tried to reassure but Stevie wasn't buying it.
"Hey, I know it's kind of chilly out but lets go to the park before I have to go back to class." Elizabeth suggested.
"let's go to the farm and grab your car so you can just leave from the park and I will pack some snacks while were there" Henry smiled at Elizabeth
"oh, your good professor" Elizabeth teased him
They got her car and Henry packed some snacks and had the kids use the restroom. They pulled into a park not far from UVA that the kids loved to play at. They got the kids out of the car who immediately ran to play on the equipment, and they grabbed the cooler with snacks and drinks and went and sat on a bench near the equipment. Henry had grabbed a bear claw for Elizabeth and after she scarfed it down, she lent in a gave him a bottomless kiss both dueling tongues.
"you guys are so gross" Stevie whined
"oh ya well I am going to get you" Henry said as he jumped up and chased Stevie
"Mom help make daddy stop" Stevie squealed.
"No way I am gross remember" Elizabeth teased and continued to drink her coffee.
"get mom guys" Stevie yelled to her siblings while still running from Henry
Elizabeth saw Jas and Ali running towards her. She put her coffee down just intime to jump up and move out of the way so they could not get her.
"Not fair" Ali shrieked running after Elizabeth
"Mommy I will save you" Jason bellowed to his mom.
Elizabeth ran towards Jason and picked him up "Thanks for saving me baby"
"just kidding. I got her guys come get her" Jason yelled laughing and trying to tickle his mom
Stevie and Alli both made a beeline for there mom trying to tickle her also.
"Babe come help me" Elizabeth called out thinking Henry would help her but instead he ran over and helped the kids tickle her.
"This so isn't' fair" Elizabeth said between gasps of laughter and trying to tickle the kids back.
"its because we love you babe" henry planted a kiss to her lips
Jason pushed Henry's head away from Elizabeth's "Goss daddy don't do that"
Everyone started laughing and getting up the kids ran off to play again and Henry wrapped a arm around Elizabeth's shoulder pulling her in close. "I love you babe"
"I kind of love you to, A lot" Elizabeth joked.
Elizabeth looked at her watch, "I really should get going babe, lets get the kids loaded up so you can head home"
"guys lets go time to get loaded up" Henry yelled to the kids
"please can't we stay longer" Ali whined
"Sorry noodle not today we need to do Supper, homework, bedtime routine and some laundry." Henry explained
"sounds like a fun night babe sorry I am going to miss it" Elizabeth planted another kiss on Henry's cheek and grabbed Jason's hand to load him in Henry's car
When all the kids were loaded in the car, Henry pushed Elizabeth against her car door and kissed her tongues dueling "please be careful tonight" henry whispered as he pulled away and went to get in her car.
Elizabeth climbed in her car and texted Henry

Elizabeth texted Blake
Hey, I am on my way leaving the park now – Elizabeth
Sounds good headed to the parking lot -Blake
Elizabeth put the car in drive and drove towards UVA
Henry put his car in drive and followed Elizabeth to UVA, she shook her head as she saw his car following her. She knew it was out of love, but it seemed unnecessary.
Elizabeth's night class went off with out any problems and Blake stayed while they waited for Mike B to walk her to class. Elizabeth and Blake were talking when the department head walked into her class.
"Hey Elizabeth, can I talk to you for a minute"
"Sure, Blake you can go I am sure Mike will be done by the time I am" Elizabeth instructed Blake.
"No ma'am I will wait right outside the door" Blake answered back being way more afraid of Mike B and Henry than he was of Elizabeth
"Elizabeth just shook her head and let out a small laugh "Ok Blake sounds good"
The department head just wanted to check in with Elizabeth and see how she was doing and if there was anything the college could do. Elizabeth just asked them to figure out who did it and get her an office she could work in. They talked a little bit about their kids and said goodbye.
Elizabeth walked her to the door where Mike B and Blake were both standing and talking waiting for her.
"wow a fan group" the department head joked with Elizabeth
"what can I say I am famous" Elizabeth laughed and started walking towards the parking lot
"Blake thank you do you want a ride back to your dorm?" Elizabeth ask
"No Ma'am its not that far and I am going to meet up with some friends anyways, I will see you later
Mike B walked Elizabeth to her car and when she started the car Mike B pulled out his phone and texted Henry.
Lady B is on her way – knight and shining whatever
You guys are awesome thank you see you tomorrow – the husband
Mike was putting his phone away and went to get in his car when he felt a hit on the back of his head and fell to the ground.
Elizabeth got home and Henry was waiting with a glass of wine and a plate from supper. They sat down to eat supper and drink her wine. After Elizabeth ate, they put the dishes in the dishwasher and started it for the night and Elizabeth went into the laundry room to switch over laundry. She got the clothes out of the dryer put them in a basket and slid it out into the kitchen and told Henry to start folding but he had better ideas. Elizabeth switched the clothes from the washer to the dryer and started the dryer before getting a load put into the washing machine. As she stood up, she saw Henry was standing in the doorway leaning against it.
"you told me to meet you in the laundry room" he smirked
"yes, so we could do laundry cause its hot when you do laundry" she teased
"oh, ya how hot" he teased back pushing her against the dryer and pressing his lips into hers.
"I will tell you when the laundry is folded" Elizabeth pushed him lightly and slipped from between him and the dryer like she was going to go fold it. Henry was able to grab the door and swing it shut before she could leave the room. Elizabeth laughed and turned towards Henry stepping on her tippy toes to pull him down into a kiss. He picked her up and put her on the dryer standing between her legs pressing his growing length into her as he intensified the kiss. She pulled away to pull his shirt off and he took that opportunity to get her shirt off before kissing her again. He continued to kiss down her jaw line and sucked on her sweet spot as he unlipped her bra. She wrapped one hand around his neck while snaking the other down his pants rubbing his bulge and he bucked into her. She used her feet to slide his Pajama pants down to the ground "that's hot babe" henry growled as the tried yanking her jeans down picking her up with one arm while they worked together to get her pants down. He gave her a second to adjust before groaning and continuing to thrust in and out of her. She pushed him back and jumped down off the dryer looking around to see if there was any pj pants she could put on as she didn't want to get redressed. She opened the laundry door and walked towards the kitchen to find a something in the clean laundry. All she could find was one of Henrys t-shirts, so she pulled it on and started folding the laundry.
"Babe if we want to get the laundry folded, you're going to need more than just a t-shirt that barley covers your beautiful ass and legs" Henry snaked his hands around Elizabeth still naked and growing hard again.
"why babe do you not like me in your shirt" Elizabeth teased while wiggling her butt back against him she was wet again and glad she hadn't wasted another pair of panty's.
"You look better in my shirt then I ever will but it will look better back in the laundry." Henry was kissing her neck and holding on to her waist from behind.
Elizabeth bent over to grab something out of the laundry basket making her shirt rise up, Henry groaned and slapped her ass. She stood up quickly and yelped. Henry's hand snaked up her shirt and started to massage her breast and play with them.
"Fuck me Hard" Elizabeth growled into Henry's ear.
He pushed her down over the counter and rammed into her. Not giving her time to adjust she was holding onto the counter knuckles white. He had one hand around her waist and one hand running up and down her back and slapping her ass every so often. It was hard and fast, and both came together screaming each other's name. Elizabeth's legs were wobbly as they came down from there high. Henry picked her up and carried her up to their bed they could finish the laundry tomorrow.
Tuesday and Wednesday went by quickly as they loaded up on Wednesday to head to Pittsburg Elizabeth mentioned to Henry that Mike had been gone the last two days.
"Babe that's kinda weird to miss midterms did he have someone cover his classes" Henry told her questioning where mike could be
"His TA delivered the Midterms at least that's my understanding" Elizabeth told Henry now becoming worried herself she decided to text him as they drove to Pittsburgh.

The car ride was long and by the time they got there it was 9:00 all the kids were sleeping so they carried them in and put them to bed. Henry and Elizabeth spent some time with Mary and Patrick but not long as they were headed to bed. Mary was so happy they brought the kids to see them but kissed them goodnight and told them she would see them in the morning
"lock up before you go to bed would ya" Patrick clapped henry on the back before heading up to bed.
Henry and Elizabeth went to the car to get their bags. Henry locked up the house while Elizabeth went up to unpack the bags. Henry joined her and helped her to unpack. He kissed her cheek as they finished and pulled her into a hug. "Are you ready for bed" henry asked
"No, I want to work on grading for a while I am not too tired yet, but I slept some on the way down" Elizabeth planted a kiss on Henry's cheek
"I will grade with you surprisingly I am not that tired yet either" Henry grabbed their work bags and they headed downstairs to the living room. Henry sat back against the couch and pulled Elizabeth back in between his legs like they have done a million times. Elizabeth and Henry sat together grading papers until Elizabeth's eyes started to close and her head was nodding.
"Let's go to bed babe we can grade more tomorrow" henry told Elizabeth as he kissed her cheek
She shook her head yes and they put there papers away before climbing up the stairs to go to bed. The bed was so small, but it let and made them be awfully close together. Tonight, Elizabeth was grateful for that. As they laid together Elizabeth couldn't help but feel like there was something wrong.
"Henry something is wrong, I don't know what it is, but I just have a feeling that something is very wrong."
"Do you mean here or with the kids or at home?" henry was overly concerned Elizabeth had great instincts and if she thought something was wrong there was a good chance, she was right.
"IDK I just have this bad feeling that won't go away" Elizabeth peeled herself away from henry telling him she was going to go check in on the kids.
"I will go with you babe" Henry got up and they went to the room where the kids were sleeping, and everything seemed to be fine.
"Babe lets go to bed and you sleep on it maybe you will have a better idea in the morning" henry knew that Elizabeth didn't even stop thinking in her sleep and she would wake up with an amazing idea.
"we can try" Elizabeth turned and pulled henry into a hug
"Do you need help relaxing" henry winked as he smiled at her knowing it wasn't the right time but always willing to help.
Elizabeth hit him playfully and told him to get into bed. Henry climbed into bed holding his arms open for Elizabeth to climb into. Elizabeth climbed into Henry and kissed him gently before they both fell asleep.
The McCord household started early as Patrick got up at 5 to get ready for work. Jason woke up which in turn woke up Ali and Stevie. The 3 kids made their way downstairs where Patrick was sitting with a cup of coffee. He gave them some pastries and put on a movie for them in the living room before heading out for work. Mary woke up around 7 and saw the kids on the couch cuddled up watching a movie the credits were playing and all 3 kids had fallen asleep. Mary had taken time off so she could spend time with the kids. She went into the kitchen quietly and made herself a cup of coffee trying to be extra quiet. She sat down at the bar enjoying her coffee in the peace and quiet. When her coffee was gone, she went and sat in the living room just watching her grandbabies sleep. Stevie woke up first Mary put a finger over her mouth to remind Stevie to be quiet. Stevie got up and went and sat with Mary. They just sat and cuddled, Mary was in heaven being a grandma was the only thing as good as people say it is.
Around 8:00 Elizabeth popped out of bed to check her phone she had gotten distracted yesterday and forgot to see if Mike had texted her back. She grabbed her phone and noticed there was no text from him. She shook Henry awake. "It's Mike that's what is wrong something happened to Mike"
Henry shook his head as he pulled himself into a sitting position trying to wake up a little. "what are you talking about did something happen?"
"He didn't give his own midterms. That's weird you said it yourself. He didn't answer my text message either. Mike always texts me back right away even if he is in class which we know he isn't something is wrong." Elizabeth was breathing heavy she was worried about her friend.
Henry was a little slower as he was still trying to wake up. He rubbed her back while trying to decide what to say or do. "is there anyway to have someone check his house? Do you know where he lives?"
"No last I knew he was living in a hotel. What if something happened to him and we have just been having sex and living our life and its my fault?" tears started to fall as she was afraid that whoever vandalized her office had got Mike.
"Let me make some phone calls you go check on the kids ok" Henry tried to reassure her that everything would be ok.
Elizabeth grabbed her phone and headed downstairs sending a text to Blake
Just want to make sure your ok- Elizabeth
I am fine ma'am just working on my midterms is everything ok – Blake
I don't know yet have you heard anything from Mike -Elizabeth
Not since Monday but I usually do not I do have his class this afternoon thou so I can see if he is there- Blake

Elizabeth looked up from her phone to see Ali and Jason curled up on the couch together asleep and Mary and Stevie in the chair curled up also asleep. She took a few pictures and headed back upstairs.
Henry was on the phone with the College trying to find an address for Mike. He couldn't send a welfare check if he didn't have an address this was the point he was arguing with the receptionist when Elizabeth walked back into the room.
Elizabeth took the phone from Henry and was able to talk Jane into the address, promising her two tickets to her favorite artist. Henry just smiled his wife was a force to be reckoned with. Henry called the local pd close to the address they were given and asked for a welfare check.
"Maybe we should try to call Amy and see if she has heard anything." Elizabeth questioned Henry and herself
Henry took his glasses off and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "babe do you think she will talk to us she isn't our biggest fan.
"She isn't my biggest fan but she likes you just fine" Elizabeth walked over rubbing her hand on his chest taking his phone and dialing Amy's number before handing it back to him
Henry just shook his head and smiled at her waiting for Amy to answer
"Hello"
"Hey Amy, it's Henry I am not sure if you remember me?" Henry was not confident that this was going to go well
"Hey Henry, how are you doing" Amy asked back cheerfully
"I am good just wondering if you have heard from Mike. He wasn't in his class on Tuesday or Wednesday and we haven't heard about today yet"
"Henry, Mike and I don't communicate at all unless its about Gordan. He has Gordan till Friday but then I am supposed to have Gordan."
"could you call him and see if he answers I am really worried about him and do you know his current address I just want to make sure I have the right one"
"Ya I will call him but only because if something happened to him it means Gordan is all alone and might be in trouble and the address I have for him is 3455 west 54th st."
"Henry nodded his head as that was the address the school had also. "Ok I asked for a welfare check please let me know if you hear anything thank you" Henry hung up the phone and pulled Elizabeth into a hug.
"How are the kids?" henry asked placing a kiss on Elizabeth's cheek
Elizabeth pulled out her phone to show Henry the pics she had taken before pulling him back into a hug.
Stevie ran up the stairs and opened her parent's door telling them they needed to come down Grandma was going to make them another breakfast. Henry and Elizabeth looked at each other and shook their heads. "Good thing we weren't doing anything we have to teach that girl to knock" Henry said before placing a kiss in Elizabeth's hair and taking her hand to head downstairs.
Henry helped his mom cook breakfast and Elizabeth took the kids upstairs and got them dressed for the day before sending them back downstairs and jumping in the shower herself. Elizabeth got out of the shower and Henry was standing there with cup of coffee looking really good in just his sweatpants hanging low on his hips.
"Damn babe you look Hot" Elizabeth smiled at Herny taking her coffee and kissing him on the cheek
"your only saying that cause I brought you coffee" henry teased turning the water back on to jump in the shower
"Duh" Elizabeth teased
Henry jumped in the shower while Elizabeth got dressed and put a touch of makeup on. Henry Stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist. He went over and wrapped his arms around Elizabeth placing a kiss on her cheek "Do I still look hot babe"
"you always look hot" Elizabeth pushed him back with her butt, grabbing her coffee with one hand and his towel with the other and walked out of the bathroom laughing.
Henry got dressed and ready for the day and headed back downstairs. Maureen was there with her youngest who wasn' t in school yet.
"Any plans for the day?" Elizabeth ask Mary before grabbing some Bacon and a piece of toast.
"Nope just hanging out nothing special planned here" Mary refilled Elizabeth's coffee cup
"I plan to just hang out with the grandbabies so if you and Henry want to go somewhere, I will hang out with the babies" Mary pulled in Stevie for a hug as smiled at Elizabeth
"I don't know that we have anywhere to go but we do have some papers to grade so we will be around" Elizabeth smiled back at Mary as Jason raised his arms up for Elizabeth to pick him up
"can we go to the park its really nice out today please mommy Please Grandma" Ali whined
Elizabeth looked at Mary who nodded "I will go make a picnic and we will go hang out at the park nothing I would rather do" Mary told them excitedly
Elizabeth placed Jason back on the ground and went to tell Henry they were going to the park while Stevie helped Mary make sandwiches. Maureen looked annoyed at having to go to the park.
"if you don't want to go, we can take Tommy" Mary told Maureen placing a hand on her shoulder
"No, it's fine I will go" Maureen told her only griping a little bit
Elizabeth was coming up to talk to Henry when her phone rang,

Elizabeth hung up the phone and felt sick, if it wasn't Ray then who could it be. She found Henry who was also in there room on the phone

Elizabeth could only hear his ½ of the conversation, but it did not sound good. When he hung up the phone, she placed her hand on his shoulder
"Let's go babe were going to the park the kids talked grandma into a picnic and a day at the park" Elizabeth kissed his cheek "is everything ok?"
"Ya, we will talk about it once we get to the park" Henry stood up rubbing his hand along her stomach kissing her lightly and headed downstairs.
They loaded up the kids in the car and Maureen and Mary followed in her car. When they got to the park Stevie couldn't get to the playground fast enough and took off running
"Hey, get back here and help carry stuff for your grandmother" henry yelled calling her back
Henry got out Ali and Jason and placed them down and they took off running. Henry and Elizabeth both just shook their heads laughing.
They started walking and Elizabeth slid her hand into henry's stopping him from walking so they could talk in private for a minute.
"So it wasn't Ray who vandalized my office it was an older gentleman. Ray even has a alibi for the time that it happened." Elizabeth told Henry keeping her voice down so that no one else could hear
"Well Mike wasn't at his apartment and Gordan was there. Amy said it didn't look like anything was wrong except that Gordan was there and Mike wasn't. Amy had dropped off Gordan on Monday evening at the house and Mike wasn't there at that time either, so she just left Gordan. She said there were messes on the floor and Gordan seemed to be hungry. Babe I am worried. Amy is going to fill out a missing person form" Henry pulled her into a hug as he told her the news.
Elizabeth felt like she was going to be sick when her phone dinged with a message from Blake
-Mike is not here in class today. I talked to his TA and he said Mike emailed him on Monday night asking him to take his classes for the week. His TA said this was weird because Mike hates email, he would always call -Ma'am I am worried – Blake

Elizabeth put her head against Henry's shoulder when Maureen yelled to see if they were coming or if she was responsible for watching their kids. Elizabeth shook her head and put her hand around Henry's waist as they walked over to the kids.
When it was time for the kids to get out of school Maureen got up to grab Tommy to go pick kids up from school. "guess I will just load up Tommy and go pick up kids from school.
"Maureen we can keep an eye on Tommy if your planning on bringing the other kids back. I know Shane is going to bring sara here after he picks her up." Elizabeth smiled at Maureen trying to be helpful.
Maureen looked at her mom to make sure her mom was planning on staying also. "Is dad coming after work to?"
"yes I think were going to grill out and enjoy the park while we have a nice day" Mary answered.
Maureen walked off to get her kids from school. Elizabeth curled into Henry's side as they watched the kids play.
"Daddy will you come play with us please" Ali begged tilting her head to the side giving her dad a look she knew he couldn't resist.
Elizabeth sat up so that Henry could go play knowing he couldn't resist that look. She went and sat next to Mary "Hey are you having a good time?"
Mary smiled "I really am thankyou for bringing the babies to see me. What is wrong with you and henry?"
"What are you talking about?" Elizabeth asked Mary confused as she thought they had been acting fine.
"I don't know for sure what's going on but there is something bothering you guys, but I can't put my finger on it." Mary rubbed Elizabeth's back as she was talking.
"just something weird happening at the school not sure what's going on yet." Elizabeth sighed as she was really concerned about Mike but wasn't sure what she could do.
Mary pulled Elizabeth into a hug "you will figure it out I know you will"
Shane pulled up and Sara got out and ran yelling towards Stevie. Stevie looked up and ran towards Sara crashing into each other laughing and falling to the ground. Maureen and Tom showed up next with there kids and all the kids played together and the adults sat and talked. Erin and Patrick showed up bringing the food for supper and charcoal for the grill. Shane and Henry and Tom fought over who could grill better while the girls got everything set up. Everyone gathered for supper and laughed and joked Maureen only made a few snotty comments. Which Elizabeth apricated. Patrick had Erin take him home first as he had work in the morning. Everyone else cleaned up and packed up the cars before heading back. When they got back to Patrick's and Mary everyone worked to unload their cars and put away leftovers. The kids did not have school the next day, so Stevie and Sara begged to stay together. Erin offered to take the girls and let them stay at her house and they could have a girl's night. Maureen let Jason and Ali stay at her house.
Patrick and Mary went to bed early and Elizabeth and Henry curled up on the couch to keep grading papers together. Elizabeth curled up her back against Henry his legs wrapped around her. They graded papers until Elizabeth eyes started to flutter close and Henry told her it was probably time to head to bed. They packed up their papers and went up and got ready for bed. Henry climbed into bed opening his arms again for Elizabeth and she fell into him and curled up tight.
They woke up Friday morning around 11 with no kids they were able to catch up on some sleep. Henry and Elizabeth decided to take a quick shower together. Elizabeth winked at Henry when he suggested they shower together. "No way babe you can't be quiet" Henry joked pulling off his shirt and pulling down his Pj pants.
"Yes I can but if you don't want to help with my needs no problem I will take care of it myself" Elizabeth peeled off her clothes before snaking her hand down to her core.
Henry stepped over to her and grabbed her hand before picking her up and carrying her into the shower. She yelped as he picked her up wrapping her hands around his neck kissing him dueling their tongues. He used one hand to hold on to her and the other to turn on the shower before stepping them inside. He pushed her up against the wall biting at her breast and kissing her passionately and thrusting inside of her. Making sure the kiss would drown out the screaming. They continued to kiss while he thrust in and out hitting her harder and deeper each time. She screamed into his mouth as he groaned in pleasure. When she was close, she used her hand to rub her clit and he slammed into her harder and faster. They came together kissing to drown out there screams as they came undone. They fell to the floor of the shower as they came down. Once they felt there strength come back up they stood up and washed each other getting out and getting dressed. "I told you I could be quiet" Elizabeth slapped Henry's butt and laughed.
They went down stairs and found Mary who was giving them both a look. "Just so you know your not as quiet as you think you are"
Elziabeths face went red and Henry just turned and walked out of the room. "There are no plans today I think everyone is coming over for supper if you guys have more papers to grade I need to go to the hospital for a while." Mary told Elziabeth since Henry had ran out of the room.
"Thanks Mary and sorry about that" Elizabeth blushed
"Hey I am a happily married women also I completely understand" mary patted Elizabeth arm and walked out of the kitchen
Elizabeth stood there mouth agape not believing what she had just heard. She went and found her bag and yelled to Henry that she was going to work on grading papers. He grabbed his bag and sat with her while they gradded papers. At some point they had fell asleep as the front door slammed shut Elizabeth jumped up to see Tom, Maureen, and all the kids glaring at her. She woke up Henry and he offered to take the kids outside to play and clapped Tom on the back telling him to come to. Oh great thanks Elizabeth thought to herself.
"Do you know what mom was planning to make for supper" Maureen asked Elizabeth
"I have no idea I didn't even think to ask" Elizabeth and Maureen went into the kitchen to see if they could figure out what the plan was. Maureen picked up her phone and called Mary to see if they needed to start anything. Mary explained that she would make supper when she got home, and they should just relax. Maureen and Elizabeth decided they would grab some coffee and head out to watch the kids play. "we were thinking about going to the zoo tomorrow if you Henry and the kids want to join us" Maureen offered to Elizabeth.
"that sound fun do you think Mary and Patrick will join us" Elizabeth asked
"we will invite everyone tonight, but I think mom and dad will go wherever the kids go" Maureen smiled at Elizabeth
They sat watching everyone play and Patrick came out and sat with them. He told them Mary was inside getting ready to make supper
"I will see if I can go help" Elizabeth stood when both Patrick and Maureen both laughed and asked her not to
Maureen got up and said she got it and Elizabeth sat back down "I will help with cleanup then."
"Sounds like a good idea Darling" Patrick stood to go in the yard with the kids.
Elizabeth sat there with her coffee just watching the kids and guys play when Erin came out with Stevie and Sara. Erin sat down with Elizabeth and sent the kids to play.
"we should go for a drink tonight" Erin looked at Elizabeth
Elizabeth raised her eyes and smiled "that sounds like a great idea"
"what sounds like a great idea?" Henry asked placing his hands on Erin shoulders and shaking her
"Elizabeth and I going for a drink tonight and I don't think Amelia works so maybe she could come to" Erin answered back
"we should probably invite Maureen to" Elizabeth said tilting her head to the side knowing Erin wouldn't like the idea
Henry just laughed and Erin shook her head. "That means you boys are in charge of the kids mayne we can talk Mary into coming out with us" Elizabeth stood and wrapped her arms around Hennry
Erin and Elizaebth went inside to help get the table set for supper. Henry went back out to play with the kids. When Elizabeth looked out the Window Tom and Henry were wrestling around on the ground. She shook her head as she saw shane and Amela come into the kitchen.
"the boys are out back" Mary told Shane
Shane ran out back and jumped on Henry and Tom Elizabeth started laughing and Mary came to the window to see what was so funny.
"Hey were going to go have a few drinks tonight and let the kids watch the boys anyone want to come out with us." Elizabeth asked looking directly at Mary so she knew she was invited.
"I am in" Amelia was the first to respond. Maureen kinda looked down like she wasn't sure if she was invited also.
"Maureen we would love it if you come" Elizabeth said trying to make eye contact so Maureen could tell she was sincere.
"I suppose I should come and keep an eye on you guys" Maureen answered
"Mary what about you are you up for a girls night on the town" Elizabeth asked
"sure why not" Mary answered and everyone laughed.
They ate supper and it was decided all the kids would stay the night at Grandma and Grandpas and Elizabeth and Amelia went down to make them a fort and sleeping area in the basement. The girls left telling the men they were in charge and they might be back later.
The girls had fun at the Bar they even sang some karaoke well not Elizabeth because she sounded like a dying cat so they only agreed to karaoke if she promised not to sing. They drank and everyone got along. "were going to need a ride home if we keep drinking like this" Mary laughed as she downed another shot.
"I bet if I show a little leg I bet Henry would come pick us up" Elizabeth laughed as she said it.
"Oh God no we are not riding home in a car with you and Henry infact maybe you guys should get a hotel as the basement is occupied with the kids. Maybe though since they already connected earlier they won't need to tonight" Mary told them trying to keep a straight face
"ya right we all know how affectionate Elizabeth gets when she has been drinking" Erin laughed patting Elizabeth on the shoulder
"I don't know what your talking about" Elizabeth looked at them with puppy dog eyes.
Everyone busted up laughing. Elizabeth pulled out her phone and booked a room at the local cheap hotel they wouldn't need anything fancy. Then she texted Henry

Henry laughed to himself and patted his dad on the back telling him they were going to have to pick up the girls.

Henrys face blushed red

"hey guys henry is coming to get me and were going to have some incredible sex in a hotel and then we will come back to the house later. Patrick will be here in about an hour." Elizabeth took another shot before standing up and going to pay the tab ordering everyone another round first.
Everyone started laughing but were appreciative for the drinks. Elizabeth waited by the front door for Henry when he pulled up, she went and climbed in his car and they took off to the hotel. Henry and Elizabeth stayed the night at the hotel but set their alarms to be back to the house by 6 to be able to help with the kids in the morning.
Patrick picked up his wife and the girls as they got in the car Erin practically fell in and landed on Amelia and they all busted out laughing. Patrick dropped of Amelia at Shane's house before dropping off Maureen to Tom. Telling them both they could sleep in tomorrow that Henry and Elizabeth would take care of the kids in the morning laughing as he told them. He then dropped off Erin and told her she could sleep in also.
Saturday morning came way to early for Henry who was trying to wake Elizabeth with truly little progress. "Babe I am going to leave you here if you don't get up"
"Bye babe I will see you later" Elizabeth pulled the covers back over her head
"how ya going to get back to my parents' house" Henry questioned knowing he really wasn't going to let her get out of kid duty with him
"I will walk I know the way I think" Elizabeth leaned up to kiss him.
Henry wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her up and said they needed to go. She reluctantly got up and got outta bed and dressed grumbling the whole time.
"you're the one who wanted to go for 3" henry said winking at Elizabeth this time talking about orgasms and not kids
She shoved him lightly and finished getting dressed they got to the house thankfully before any of the kids were up. They made a pot of coffee and Henry worked on making pancakes while Elizabeth sat on the couch. Elizabeth fell asleep at least until all the kids came running up the stairs complaining they were starving. Elizabeth got up and helped get them all plates and get them fed. There parents showed up shortly after with clothes so they could head to the zoo. Everyone decided they would go along
Everyone got dressed and into cars and headed to the zoo they had a great day at the zoo. The day went by quickly and they all went back to Mary and Patrick's for supper. The rest of the weekend went off with out a hitch and Elizabeth and Henry packed up and headed home. On the way home Elizabeth got a text from a unknown number.

Elizabeth's eyes went wide and she clawed into Henry's leg. He pulled over so that he could read the message and then a picture came through of Mike who had been beaten badly and was tied to a chair.
