Chapter 11: Final exams part 1
Logan slowly and quietly makes his way though the door of Nemuri's house. He was one percent sure she knew he faced Stain, due to it unlikely it was on the news. The internships had ended yesterday and classes would be starting back up soon. Not only that, but he had just almost finished Mina, Kirishima, Ojiro, Hagakure, and Momo's new prototype hero costumes or hero support items. He was about to head to his room, when suddenly.
"LOGAN STARK! YOU GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE RIGHT NOW!" Yelled Nemuri from the living room.
"C**p." Thinks Logan with a flinch.
Logan then heads to the living room. Once he was in the room, he got a tackle hug from Natasha, who was on the verge of tears when she saw him. Said hug nearly knocked him over.
"Jesus! Nat I'm… Fine." Said Logan, but he trailed off when he saw Nemuri.
She had a furious look on her face. She had on jeans and a purple long sleeve shirt. Her red glasses reflected the light from the window and she had her hair up in a pony tail. She was also tapping her left foot on the floor and her arms we're crossed over her chest. Logan scratched the back of his head.
"Heeeeyyyy Nemuri. Um, what's up?" Said Logan.
"DON'T YOU 'WHAT'S UP' ME MISTER! WHAT WE'RE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU FOUGH THE HERO KILLER!?" Yelled Nemuri.
"Whhhhaaaaaa? I think your missing some information Nemuri. It was Endeavour who… Oh." Said Logan, as Nemuri turned on a recorded News program.
"In other news. Four UA interns held off the Hero Killer: Stain from killing fellow pro hero Native. Endeavour then arrived on the scene and took down the villain, while the four students got Native away from the fight. For more news about the Hero Killer, tune in tonight for more information." Said the news woman.
"That wasn't the part of the plan chief!" Thinks Logan in anger, on how the news got the info about fight with Stain.
Natasha had already gone to her room to do… Something other then listening Nemuri chewing out Logan for his recklessness. Due to Nemuri's height of five foot nine, she had to crane her neck to look up at Logan, due to him being a very tall teenager of seven foot two, which wasn't a natural growth spurt mind you. His height was in thanks to the machine that healed him after the fight was Thanos in Wakanda. Nemuri then goes on a rant and paces around the room. Logan just sat down on the couch to let his technical step-mother vent her frustration out.
"Logan. You could… have…" Said Nemuri, but she takes some calming breaths.
Nemuri then holds her left hand over her eyes. Logan could only guess that some tears had slowly been forming. The tears we're possible from the different outcomes Nemuri had thought of. Logan stands up and hugs Nemuri. Now if someone saw this in public, they would think Logan was Nemuri's boyfriend, which would be extremely awkward for him. But his step-mother was extremely in need of a hug, due to the stress he had put on her.
"I'm fine Nemuri. Stain didn't even get a hit on me. The others are fine as well. Nothing life threatening." Said Logan.
Nemuri gives Logan a hug back. She knew Logan could handle himself. But Stain was no ordinary villain. Stain had killed seventeen pro heroes and had crippled twenty three more pro heroes. The two hug each other for about two or more minutes, till both are teleported into Logan's room. Logan then begins to sweat.
"Now if your done chewing me out. I need some advice." Said Logan.
Nemuri tilts her head a bit in confusion. What could Logan be asking about.
"What kind of advice?" Asked a smug Nemuri.
Logan mumbles. Nemuri leans in and Logan goes more red in the face.
"I didn't hear you." Said Nemuri in a sing song voice and smirk.
"I need advice about asking Momo out!" Blurted out Logan.
"FFFFFFFFFFF*****************KKKK!" Yells Logan in his head from the embarrassment.
Nemuri takes a deep breath to squeal in excitement. But Logan covers her mouth before she could squeal.
"Could you keep it down! I don't need Nat hearing this!" Snapped Logan.
"But your finally coming out of your shell about Momo! Eeeeeeeeee!" Said Nemuri.
"God f**king damn it! Why did I spill it!?" Thinks Logan.
Once Nemuri had calmed down. The two sit down. Logan on his chair and Nemuri on his bed. They stay silent for about five seconds.
"So when are you going to ask her out? Where are you going? Out for dinner? Movie? Walk along the beach? A hotel?" Asked Nemuri, with a smug look on her face form the last question.
"Nemuri! Really!?" Said Logan as he barriers his face in his hands from the last question Nemuri asked.
"Oh come on Logan, lighten up a bit! This is just a date. Your not asking her to marry you. At least not yet." Teased Nemuri.
"I swear Nemuri. I will turn you into man for the rest of your life if you don't stop teasing me." Threaten Logan.
Nemuri just laughed.
"But seriously Logan. What are you thinking about for a date with Momo?" Asked Nemuri.
"I don't know. I have never, and I mean never, asked a girl out. Most back in my home universe, they just threw themselves at me for the benefits of being my girlfriend. None really wanted to date me for who I am. And Tony was a playboy before he had started to really date Pepper." Said Logan.
"Then how about this. A movie then coffee date. Easy peasy. Nothing too over the top and nothing too lame. You two see a movie and talk about it over coffee. Not rocket science Logan." Said Nemuri.
"It's god damn rocket science for me woman!" Thinks Logan, who was thinking of all the things that could go wrong.
"Your thinking of all the things that could go wrong, aren't you?" Asked a smug Nemuri.
"No…. Yes." Said a embarrassed Logan.
Logan's door then swings open and Natasha falls on the floor. She then slowly looks up. She sees Nemuri trying her best not to laugh. While Logan had a face of utter horror on his face. Logan then slowly raises his left arm and his eyes glow.
"Oh uh? Wrong room!" Said Natasha as she tried to bolt away.
But Logan had already grabbed her, with the help of the space stone. Natasha then slowly looks at Logan. She noticed he had a evil smirk on his face and the mind stone was glowing.
"Hey Nemuri. I think Nat here needs help confessing her feeling to Todoroki." Said Logan.
"LOGAN! STAY OUT OF MY HEAD!" Yelled Natasha, as she tries to strangle Logan.
"EEEEEEEEEE! YOU TWO ARE GROWING UP SO FAST!" Yelled Nemuri.
Nemuri was ignoring the fact that Natasha was trying to strangle a laughing Logan.
Meanwhile at Momo's house
Momo was in the same position as Logan. She had just asked her mother for advice, which was good mind you, but she was still panicking. Her father luckily hadn't barged in to hear Momo blurt out she was going to ask Logan out on a date.
"But how do I ask him? When do I ask him? Do we go for dinner? For a romantic stroll somewhere?" Said Momo as she paces back and forth in front of her mother.
Her mother was in a night gown when Momo asked to talk to her. Momo's mother just sat and listened. She was also thinking of a way for her daughter to ask Logan out.
"When are the midterms?" Asked Momo's mother.
"A few weeks from now. Why?" Asked Momo.
"Ask him out when the exams are over. That way you two aren't distracted during the exams." Said Momo's mother.
"That's a great idea! Thanks mother!" Said a smiling Momo as she hugs her mother.
The two then head to bed. Momo smiles as she falls asleep. She knew she had to focus on the exam and possible helping some of her classmates catch up, but she still couldn't wait to ask Logan out. Sure she was still scared of him saying no, but if she doesn't ask him now, someone else will. But she is confident in herself. She then thinks of different date ideas for her and Logan to do. As she closes her eyes, some blush appears on her face and she smiles more for some reason.
Back with Logan
Logan sits at his desk, typing away on his holo-laptop. On the hologram screen, was a document. On another screen, was a list of different construction companies. Logan types down some names and some numbers. At the top of the list is Uraraka's parent's construction company. The document's name was "Damage Control Repair Force" or DCR for short. Logan knew constitution companies built building to last, but what about repairing hero and villain battles that destroyed entire streets. If he could possible get Nezu to look this over and maybe get the hero association to make a DCRF. With only one company repairing a large scale battle area would take a very long time. But with multiple companies pulling together resources and man power, the repair time could be halved. Nemuri then comes in.
"Logan. Head to bed. Exams will be coming up soon and I expect you to pass them. What's that?" Said Nemuri as she noticed the list and document.
"Oh, just a side project. Back in my universe. S.H.I.E.L.D had a "Damage Control" force repair large scale battles between heroes and villain. These forces would also help repair building destroyed in the battles or build new buildings. I'm thinking of presenting this to Principle Nezu and seeing what he thinks. With multiple construction companies working together, repair of aftermaths of large scale battles could be cut in half." Said Logan.
"Oh. Just don't stay up too late. Five more minutes and then to bed. You have had a long internship, so get some rest." Said Nemuri.
"I will. Night." Said Logan.
Nemuri says good night. Logan heads to the bathroom to brush his teeth. He then saves the document and closes it. But underneath DCR document, was another document. It had all of his classmate's names and hero names. Some class B1 names we're on there. Above the names was three words.
"The Avenger Initiative. Captain Marvel is right. Not many worlds have a team of heroes protecting them. Time to assemble the team." Said Logan.
He has Hephaestus start making the final adjustments to his classmates hero gear. He then heads to bed.
The next day at school
Logan and Natasha walk to class. Along the way, they ran into Midoriya, Iida, and Todoroki. Each of the three boys got a bear hug from Natasha. Natasha wanted all the details on what had transpired, but nether of the four boys talked. As they walk, they talked to each other.
"How are you Iida? How are your arms?" Asked Logan.
"There fine. There a bit stiff, but nothing I can't handle." Said Iida.
"For me, I just had a sprained ankle and wrist." Said Midoriya.
"Most of my injuries we're minor, so I'm fine. And thanks for the new hero name." Said Todoroki.
"I too would like to thank you Logan for the new name. Turboracer is a perfect name for me till I have proven myself a true hero." Said Iida.
As the five get to the class room, they hear laughing. They open the door, to find Bakugo with straight hair and he had Sero, along with Kirishima in head locks. The reason, Kirishima and Sero we're laughing at Bakugo's hair. It was all flattened and not it's explosive look. Logan snickers.
"WHAT'S SO FUN STARK!?" Yelled Bakugo.
"Oh nothing. Just though you we're going on a hot date later today." Said Logan.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" Yells Bakugo.
'POOF!'
Bakugo's hair explodes back to normal. This got Sero and Kirishima to laugh some more. Logan heads over to his seat. Mineta had been Mt Lady's personal butler for all of his internship. Jiro had helped with a hostage situation, but just escorting the hostages out. Tsuyu mostly trained and cleaned the ships deck. But she did take down some drug smugglers. Mina and Jiro we're shocked that Tsuyu had fought smugglers. More people had also asked Iida, Izuku, Todoroki, and Logan about the hero killer.
"Just as the news said, we held him off till Endeavour showed up." Said Todoroki.
"But seriously, we we're worried." Said Kaminari.
The class then talks more about Stain. From the wired video that had popped up. Too his connections to the League of Villains. Logan just sighs. Iida then gets everyone into their seats before the bell goes.
Meanwhile, in the digital world
"Why did you drag me along Hermes?" Asked Ares.
Ares looked like a veteran soldier. He had on a uniform of US marine, with multiple medals on him.
"Because, you are the second best at cyber warfare. The other guys are good, but not good enough to get into the servers of I-Island. But we can." Said Hermes.
Hermes wore clothes that of a cat burglar, with a toque. Around the two artificial intelligence's, was a plain of data. The two walk a bit, before they come to a large wall. The two get to work. To them, it felt like days had gone by, to a human, it was only a matter of seconds.
"We're in. Now what?" Asked Ares.
"We look around. There's got to be something interesting." Said Hermes.
"You just wanted to try and find something for Logan. To give him hope in removing the stones." Said a serious Ares.
The two tactical brothers have a stare down. Yes, Logan was still anxious about the Infinity Stones, with him glancing at the old plans he made to remove the stones. Logan hadn't even destroyed the chair he made for removing the stones.
"The opposite really. I don't want to find anything that could give Logan hope. I maybe modelled after the greek god of thieves, I am nothing like him. If we find something, we don't tell Logan we came here. If we do, we evaluate what could happen if Logan finds out. If we think it could help him, we tell him. Deal." Said Hermes.
"Deal. Let's go." Said Ares.
The two wander the rows of data and information. They find plans for a bunch of inventions. Some for vehicles, like a plane that can fly in the sky and becomes a submarine. A helmet that gives the wearer a multiple angles to see. A suit that goes very deep into the ocean. The two then split up. Ares goes looking for anything that could be turned into a weapon. While Hermes goes looking for anything of value.
With Ares
He walks around aimlessly. I-island cyber security was good, but not good enough. He had some close calls, but he made it out fine. He had found some weapons that could be used against heroes, but they we're still in testing and waiting for authorization.
"These humans would have been going past the moon by now if it wasn't for quirks appearing. They still have some gaming systems that are just coming out in Logan's universe. What's this?" Said Ares, as he comes up to a wall.
The wall was like the one Hermes and him got through. But this one was different. It was a separate server, being kept online by a separate generator. His curiosity got the better of him, so he does some poking around the wall.
"What are they hiding?" Wondered Ares.
His answer came in the form of something slamming into the wall. A face could barely be seen through the wall. All but two red eyes and a glowing red mouth could all be seen through the wall. Ares then senses that he was detected. But he knew what the wall was being used for, much to his surprise, shock, and horror.
"They aren't hiding anything. They're keeping him in!? But how!? Got to find Hermes! Got to warn Logan about him being hear!" Said Ares, making a run for it.
With Hermes
He could sense he was detected, but he was a great hider. He just blends in with the other data. After a few nanoseconds, he was in the clear. Hermes was looking for… Well nothing really. He was just exploring. Sure he came across some interesting blue prints, but nothing note worthy.
"Humans can be so confusing. Sure I-island has some great things in here. But none of it is worth copying. Hmm? Hello." Said Hermes.
Hermes looks over a data stream and finds a interesting project related to transferring massive amounts of energy. Hermes digs deeper. It was done and the prototype was made. The prototype was given the go ahead for more testing and improvement. But Hermes ran some of his own tests, with a different kind of energy.
"Let's see. Add in the fact that there is six stones. One nod for each. Calculate the energy they give off, more so for the power stone. Add in variables. Double checking. And run test." Said Hermes.
The test goes smoothly. But part way to the end of the test, the nodes expire and explode. Hermes does some more tests, saving the data he collected. Then on the 50th test, the nodes remain intact, but under extreme stress. Hermes finds anything relating to this project. He then copies the whole project to take back to the other AI to look over. He then makes his way to Ares.
Later, in the P.D.D.T
All the AIs gather. Ares and Hermes discuss what they found. To the power transferring device, to Hermes running some of his own tests with the, and finally, Ares finding Him.
"He's here as well. This could spell disaster if he gets out. Hermes. Hephaestus. Get to work making a code or virus to keep him out of any military projects, plans, weapons, or other military systems. Make sure "he" can't escape though the internet. Call Vision and let him know of this. We'll tell Logan about this when he gets home. And Hermes, keep running tests on that project you found. We'll see if we can all avoid another Sokovia event." Said Ares.
The AIs all get to work. Half help Hermes and Hephaestus make the virus or code to keep "him" out. Raiden informs Vision and requests his help with the code. The rest go over the data Hermes had about the power nodes.
Back UA
Class 1A we're having lunch. Except for Mina, Kirishima, Ojiro, Hagakure, and Momo. The five make their way to the support department.
"What do you think they need us for?" Asked Ojiro.
"Possibly some new gear! I could really use a update for my hero costume." Said Mina.
"All I have is gloves and a pair of boots." Said a saddened Hagakure.
Momo places a comforting hand on Hagakure's shoulder.
"I'm sure Mr Power Loader has made you something." Said Momo.
"Hit the deck!" Came the voice of Logan.
"Not again Hatsume!" Came the voice of Power Loader.
Power Loader and Logan come diving out of the door, fallowed by a smoke cloud.
'KABOOM!'
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! I TOLD YOU I COULD DO IT!" Came the victorious laugh of Hatsume.
"Why is she here! I though you said she wouldn't be here!?" Said Logan.
"I told her not to be here! But nooo! She just has to ignore me!" Said a angry Power Loader.
Cables then restrain Hatsume, with her crying out in surprise. She was then put in a corner, facing the wall. Logan and Power Loader then notice the five by the door. All seven then head into the support department room, well most of it, since Hatsume had destroyed most of it again.
"I see you five are here to receive your new support gear. Or in some of your cases, hero costumes." Said Power Loader.
The five then see some new gear. Mina spots a case with her name on it. Kirishima also finds a case with his name on it. Momo, Ojiro, and Hagakure find a manikin with a cover over it. Mina opens her case. In it are a two things. One was some forearm armour and a new pair of boots. The boots are a acidic purple colour. The forearm armour is also the same colour as her bodysuit, be it a bit lighter.
"The forearm armour pieces help launch your acid father and they can withstand very high levels of acid. The boots help you stick to things without damaging the environment or other things, same for the armour. The boots also have hover tech in them to help your skate across things, to lessen the acid damages you cause when you skate around. You can even grind on railings with them. They also have tech in them to minimize the sound of your foot steps. What to know what I call them." Said Logan.
"Awesome and sure!" Said Mina.
"Sneakers." Said Logan with a smirk and pointing his fingers.
Mina snorts and tries to hold in some laughter. Kirishima also tries to hold in his laughter. Hagakure giggles at the pun and joke. Momo only smirks.
"Kirishima. The new boots have the same stealth tech in them. The boots also have a anchor hooks in them to grip onto any surface, ether for better footing or climbing. The gear shoulder pieces now hold some nanotech, which builds boosters to give you a small boost in the air and mobility. The arm gear is the same, but it helps you stay up right. It also protects people from being cut up. They also have a added feature. Put your arms up like this, while also hardening your arms and have the gear piece on." Said Logan, as he holds his arms up, like he's holding a shield.
Kirishima does the same pose. To which he feels sand flow over his skin. From the gear pieces, comes the nanotech. The nanotech then form two shields, with Kirishima in the middle. On the right shield is the word "Red" and on the left shield is "Riot".
"This is awesome! Now I can shield more people at a time! Thanks man!" Said Kirishima was a huge smile.
"The shields will only appear when you have your arms like that and you have hardened your arms. The boots will then anchor you in place. If you grow tired, bring your arms together and the shield will form. Now for you Ojiro." Said Logan, as he removes the cover on Ojiro's new hero costume.
Ojiro's new hero costume still looked like a karate gi, but black, with a white belt, the fur around the collar was less fluffy, and the boots we're still black. Some dark blue gloves we're on the manikin's hands. A small sling backpack was also on the manikin. A mask resembling something a ninja would wear was also on the head, with a metal mouth guard.
"Wow, I.. I don't know what to say." Said Ojiro.
"A thank you would be nice. But onto the things this new costume can do. It can change colours, so if it's summer, you can change it to white to cool off. It's also heated, like the other things you guys have. The mask filters poison gases, while also being stylish. The sling backpack holds some extra goodies as well. From a grappling hook, to shock nunchucks, and even a shock stars. The backpack also holds some medical supplies as well." Said Logan.
Hagakure removes the cover from the next manikin, to which she finds a plain long sleeve shirt, plain pants, new gloves, new boots, a sling backpack, and a mask that covers her entire head. She also noticed a pair of goggles and a forearm data pad.
"Go try it on and then I'll explain how it works." Said Logan.
Hagakure goes over to the change room and gets changed. Once she came out, Logan motions her to show him the data pad.
"Now, to activate the clothes, simply press this button. Then wait about five seconds." Said Logan.
Hagakure does as she is told. She pushes the button on the screen and waits five seconds. After five seconds, the clothes become transparent. But to Hagakure, they we're slightly visible to her.
"It didn't work." Said Hagakure.
"Yes it did. Take off the goggles." Said Logan.
Hagakure takes off the goggles and gasps. She sees the clothes we're see through, just like her. Everyone then sees a imprint of arms wrap around Logan, giving the impression that Hagakure was hugging him. Logan then brings out a small manual.
"This holds all the modes and other functions that the clothes have. Now for your new costume Momo." Said Logan.
Momo's new hero costume was a one piece body suit. It was still red, but there was still some black and gold in the colour scheme. A arm mounted data pad was on the left arm. But there was no openings on the suit for Momo to use.
"Go try it on and then I'll explain." Said Logan.
Momo goes into the change room. She noticed how loose the suit was, till she accidentally hit a button on the data pad and the suit shrunk to fit her.
"I forgot to mention that you can adjust the suit if it's too tight. Just use the data pad to loosen or tighten the suit." Said Logan.
"He really does think of everything." Thinks a blushing Momo.
She then finishes changing and comes out. Logan activates the data pad fully, with it showing a progress bar. It then shows a list of items, from small gadgets to complex compounds. It even shows the periodic table.
"Now. The suit reads the use of your quirk. Due to the fibres being coated in special nanotech, it will move or repair itself when you use your quirk. So try it out." Said Logan.
Momo makes a fire axe, with some of the suit moving out of the way. Once the axe head was out of Momo's skin, the suit closes enough to allow the handle to come through. Logan then gives Momo a manual as well, along with Kirishima, Ojiro, and Mina.
"If you have any questions or need some help with some functions, you just have to ask. We should get going. We don't want to be late for class." Said Logan.
"Would it be alright if I modified my suit more?" Asked Momo.
"If your wondering about colours, lengths, or other things, page ten of the manual." Said Logan with a smile.
"You five get going. I'll handle the paperwork." Said Power Loader.
Momo grabs her old hero costume's belt and puts it on. She did have Logan remove the shelf from the back thou. The five then head towards the training ground Gamma.
At training ground Gamma
Ground Gamma consists of an industrial site compiled by many factories that form a labyrinth. The labyrinth contains tons of heavy machinery including cranes and pipelines. All of class 1A stand in front All Might.
"IT SURE HAS BEEN AWHILE! YOUNG KIRISHIMA, ASHIDO, OJIRO, YAOYOROZU, AND HAGAKURE! I'M LIKING THOSE NEW HERO GEAR AND COSTUMES! I'M SURE YOU THANKED THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING THEM!" Said All Might.
"Yes Sir!" Said Kirishima, Ojiro, Momo, Mina, and Hagakure.
"ANYWAYS! WELCOME TO TRAING GROUND GAMMA! A LABYRINTH OF HEAVY MACHINERY, CRANES, PIPELINES, AND MORE! TODAY'S TRAINING IS A RACE! THE FIRST ONE TO RESCUE ME IS THE WINNER!" Said All Might.
"Then shouldn't we be at the USJ?!" Asked Iida.
"GREAT OBSERVATION YOUNG IIDA! AS I SAID, THIS IS A RACE! EACH GROUP WILL BE FIVE PEOPLE, THE LAST GROUP HAVING SEVEN PEOPLE IN IT! EACH GROUP WILL SPLIT UP INTO DIFFERENT AREAS OF GROUND GAMMA! WHEN I GIVE THE SIGNAL, YOU WILL RACE TOWARDS ME!" Explained All Might.
He then slowly points at Bakugo.
"AND DO TRY TO KEEP THE DAMAGE TO A MINIMUM. PLEASE." Said All Might.
"Why the hell are you pointing at me?" Said Bakugo.
The group then splits up. The first group had Sero, Midoriya, Mina, Ojiro, and Iida. The rest sit in front of a large flat screen. They see Midoriya doing some stretches.
"So who do you guys think is going to win. My money is on Sero." Said Kirishima.
"Well Iida is still recovering from his injuries. He should sit this one out." Said Ochaco.
"Well four have better mobility. I don't know how far Midoriya has come into his quirk since the sports festival, but he has a possibility that he might win. But Mina and Ojiro are still new to their new gear. So I would say ether Sero or Iida." Said Momo.
"Looks like we'll have to watch and see." Said Logan, as he dawns his Hermes armour.
Everyone watches the race begin. They all see how much Midoriya had improved, due to him taking the lead in the race. Mina and Ojiro had lagged behind due to their new gear, but they we're slowly getting the hang of it. Iida was running down a long pathway, to only run into a dead end. Sero was right behind Midoriya, with him swinging or reeling himself in fast to catch up.
"Looks like Midoriya has improved." Said Logan.
But then in a sudden change of pace, Midoriya looses his footing. Causing him to go tumbling down the metal pipes. Most of the class all cringe when Midoriya landed on a pipe the wrong way.
"Oooooo, that got to hurt." Said Sato.
"No kidding." Said Mineta.
The horn then goes off, with Sero being the one to get to All Might. The class moves on to the next round of the races.
Meanwhile in the MCU (Earth-199998)
Tony works out the equations needed for the portal to remain stable. Hank and Bruce are with him to help. Hank shows Bruce some calculations, to which he shows Tony. Pepper then comes in with some drinks.
"Thirsty boys?" Asked Pepper.
"Thanks Pepper." Said Bruce, taking the largest cup.
"Thank you Mis Stark." Said Hank, as he takes a sip of his drink while reading over the readings on his screen.
"Hey Tony. Can I talk to you. Alone." Said Pepper.
Tony fallows his wife to a room. Once the two are inside, Tony closes the door.
"So what is it?" Asked Tony.
Pepper hugs herself.
"I'm just worried about Logan. Hold long has he been in that universe? Has it been years? Months? What if he has a family now? What if he's has other commitments in that universe that he can't leave? What if he can't come home?" Said Pepper, seemingly getting more worried about Logan.
Tony hugs Pepper. Sure even he had doubts about Logan not being able to come home, but they would find a way. Tony then give Pepper a kiss on the lips to calm her down.
"Pep, Logan is a smart kid. I'm sure he's trying everything he can to get home as well. If not, then I bet he's bunkered down for the long run and is waiting for us to come get him. We just have to hope for the best." Said Tony.
The two head their separate ways. For Pepper, it was going to pick Morgan up from school. For Tony, it was back to the lab. Tony also had a feeling in the back of his head about something. What if there was other villains in the same universe as Logan, from their own universe? How was that universe handling it?
"We got to get this thing working soon." Said Tony.
Back in the MHA universe (Earth-758785887)
"Damn. I always forget that Momo is rich sometimes." Said Natasha.
Sero, Jiro, Mina, Kaminari, Ojiro, Natasha, and Logan all stand at the gate to Momo's place. Ojiro presses the button and Momo's voice comes through. They all walk up to the mansion. Logan and Momo had offered to help anyone in needed of more studying, which included Sero, Jiro, Mina, Kaminari, Ojiro, and Natasha.
"So who needs help with the most." Said Logan, as he looks at Mina and Kaminari.
"Why are you looking at us!?" Said Mina and Kaminari.
"You two need the most help." Said Logan, dragging the two off.
Momo bites her lower lip a bit. If she hadn't talked with her mother days ago, she would have asked Logan out right now. But she had more pressing matters right now, helping her friends study. With her was Jiro, Natasha, Ojiro, and Sero. Jiro needed help with math related, Ojiro needed help with some English, Sero needed help with classical Japanese, and finally Natasha needed help with some science related material.
"Come on Logan! Be reasonable!" Said Mina.
Logan flicks Mina's nose, since she was complaining about her practice tests Hephaestus had made for her. Logan then whispered something into Mina's ear. The pinkette then had a look of determination in her eyes and she was doing her work twice as fast. Kaminari also was working harder as well, with Logan handing him something.
"I'm sure those things will sweeten the deal." Said Logan.
Mina and Kaminari nod their heads. Logan does some of his own studying as well, with him doing notes, muttering to himself about the questions, and rapidly typing away on his holo-laptop. Mina and Kaminari then hand over their practice test for Logan to mark. The two then do some more studying as well, as Logan marks the tests.
"Not bad you guys. Mina, you got a thirty five out of forty two questions right. Which is a eighty three percent. Kaminari, you got a thirty out of forty two questions right. Which is a seventy one percent." Said Logan.
"All right!" Said Kaminari and Mina.
Logan then hands the two new practice test, which we're different and had more questions.
"Now heres another one, this time with sixty questions. There all multiple choice, but there are some math problems as well. Show your work and there is a few questions that need you to right out the answer and explain yourself." Said Logan.
"Oh come on!" Said Mina and Kaminari.
The two then flinch when Logan raised his left arm. The two get right to work. Momo looks over Logan's shoulder, which was a bit difficult due to Logan's height, as he studies. Momo sees all the questions Logan was working on, which he explained he had Hephaestus make him some questions.
"Need anything Yaomomo?" Asked Logan.
Momo's heart skips a beat when Logan said her nickname, which mostly everyone calls her. She then composes herself and looks over some of the questions Hephaestus had made.
"Do you think Hephaestus could make everyone some practice tests for them to use till the midterms?" Asked Momo.
"What am I to you people? A butler?" Said Hephaestus, in a sarcastic voice, and from Logan's phone, which he had been listening from.
"Yes." Said Logan.
Hephaestus just grumbles to himself. The rest of the day, they all spend doing practice tests that Hephaestus provided. Unbeknownst to them, Momo's mother had arrived home unexpectedly. Momo's mother was told by the staff that her daughter was holding a study group with some of her friends. Momo's mother was watching from the doorway, being unseen by the eight teenagers. Momo's mother was quite surprised to see how tall Logan was, she almost mistook him for an adult.
"Logan!? I need help!" Whined Kaminari.
"You haven't even tried. Do the question and then I'll help you if somethings wrong with it." Said Logan in a stern tone of voice, obviously annoyed by his friends whining.
"Yaomomo! Logan's being mean!" Said Mina, who had also not tried to do the question.
Momo merely shakes her head and goes back to her own practice test. Soon everyone packs their things and heads for the door.
"Thanks again Yaomomo!" Said Mina, who hugs Momo.
"No problem! If any of you need help, just ask!" Said a smiling Momo.
Everyone then says good bye and head home. Momo closes the door with a sigh. She heads back to her room to finish up on some of the practice questions Hephaestus had made for her, which we're challenging even for her.
"So that was the boy you're talking about." Said Momo's mother.
Momo squeaks in surprise from her mother's voice. She had also flinched as well.
"Mother!? When did you get home!? Why are you home!?" Said Momo.
Momo's mother smirks.
"Can't a mother drop in unexpectedly on her daughter to see how she's doing?" Said Momo's mother.
Momo stutters a bit. Her mother just laughs a bit. The two talk for awhile, till Momo's mother heads off to bed.
Meanwhile with Logan
"Your one hundred percent sure these nodes will work?" Asked Logan, as he puts up a time barrier.
"Yes they will. We ran thousands, to even millions, of tests. With those tests, we we're able to get the percentage of the nodes working to around ninety six percent." Said Hephaestus.
Logan puts on the monitoring pads and other devices. They start with the power stone, since it's nodes was the most worked on. The nodes looked like smooth glass gems, each coloured coded with the responding infinity stone. Apollo and Hephaestus begin to take off the power stone, with the other AI monitoring Logan's vitals. Once the power stone was off, it was placed in a special holder. The node was then held in place by some robotic arms. The colour wasn't glowing yet.
"Activating power transfer node and power receiver node in. 3. 2. 1." Said Hephaestus.
Logan could feel a surge of power flow back into himself. The node in the place of the power stone, snaps into place and stays put. The power transfer node was stable and it was transferring at one hundred percent.
"Vitals are stable. Power stone energy output is stable and constantly transferring. I think we did guys." Said Hermes.
Logan laughs in success. He then checks out the receiver node on his hand, it pulses with a purple glow.
"Are the other nodes ready to be installed?" Asked Logan.
"Yes they are. Just a few more hours, just to be sure there are no negative side effects." Said Hephaestus.
Logan remains in the time barrier for about ten minutes, but to him it was ten hours. Luckily Nemuri and Natasha had gone to bed early. Logan then gets the reality, space, soul, mind, and finally time stone removed. He then looks at the glass gem nodes on his arm. He remade the time barrier and stayed in there for about thirty minutes, but it was thirty hours for him.
"They work! Hephaestus. Apollo. I would kiss you if you had human bodies!" Said Logan.
"Oh stop it, your making us blush." Said Apollo.
"Where's my love!? I'm the one who stole the data and designs!?" Said Hermes.
"Say what?" Said Logan in confusion.
"What?" Said Hermes as he tried to dodge the question.
"Anyways, what about the stones? We can't leave them in those nodes and have someone come in to take them." Said Poseidon.
"How's the new hulk buster armour coming along?" Asked Logan.
"He's almost ready." Said Hephaestus.
"What's his name?" Asked Ra.
"His name is Horus. He doesn't have many weapons built into him, just the standard repulsers and some micro-missiles. He was built more for deep space travel. He will mostly use melee weapons that I'm going to be making." Said Logan.
"But why do you need him?" Asked Hephaestus.
"Remember the data we got from those rovers on Mars." Said Logan.
While humanity on this earth had yet to go pass their moon, which was the same for Logan's home, they're space rovers we're highly advanced. Some of the Mars rovers had picked up large deposits of crystals near the surface of Mars. Hermes had found that out around the time of the USJ event.
"Yeah? So? Those crystals are as strong, if not stronger, then diamonds. While the rovers had picked up traces of a lead-like material in the crystals, the crystals are sill pretty much made of carbon. Them… Oh I see we're your going with this." Said Hephaestus.
The Martian crystals would be a perfect container, due to the infinity stones giving off low levels of gamma radiation. Once Logan found a big enough crystal, he would modify it to hold the infinity stones.
"Start looking for any of the crystals near the surface of Mars. Once we find some, I'll take Ra and Horus to retrieve them." Said Logan.
Logan finishes up and heads to bed.
The next day
Class we're slow. Only a few more days until the final exams. Everyone had gathered information about the exams. Itsuka Kendo, the class representative of class 1B, had gotten information from her friends in the hight grades. They would be facing robots, which Logan didn't buy it.
"I highly doubt we'll be facing robots." Said Logan, as he eats his lunch.
"You really think that?" Asked Ochaco.
Logan nods his head.
"With the raise in villain activity, like Stain and the League of Villains, hero schools will have to change up how they test their students. The way I see it, the world is changing. We ether change with it or we can lay down and let the villains win." Said Logan.
"That's… Kinda dark Logan. While not super dark, but a lightly dark outlook on the world." Said Kaminari.
"But Logan is somewhat right." Said Iida.
"How so?" Asked Sero.
"Look at it like this. As of now, UA has never had villains attack it, due to the pro heroes that work here as teachers. But since the USJ event, villains are getting more bold. Then there was Stain, a villain that went after "Fake" heroes. The police, nor other pro heroes, haven't been caught the leader of the USJ event or any of his companions. Then there are those Nomu, as the leader of the USJ event explained it, we're genetically modified to be able to hold more then one quirk." Said Momo.
"And the fact that there have been some mass murders as well." Said Midoriya.
"What murders?" Asked Logan.
"You haven't heard. One man goes on a killing spree, ether in remote towns, small villages, camp sites, resorts, etc. From survivor reports, he is a tall man, around eight foot three, and wields a double bladed sword. Not much is known about his appearance, due to any survivors seeing his face are all killed. And he wears a cloak that covers his whole body. But there is a strange outcome of ever murder. He only kills half of the over all population of the towns, small villages, camp sites, resorts, and etc. But it's random, no man, woman, child, elderly are spared." Said Midoriya.
Logan was deadly silent from what Midoriya said. From the way this man operated, reminded Logan of Thanos. The bell then goes. Everyone begins to head back to class. Logan was the slowest, due to the fantom pain and painful memories of what Thanos had done. Logan grips his right side, where his scar was.
"Logan? Are you okay?" Asked Momo.
"Oh, uh. Yeah I'm fine. Just a bit shaken from what Midoriya said." Said Logan.
"If there is anything that you need help with, just ask. I am the vice class representative." Said Momo.
"Yeah. Lets get going, or else Mr Aizawa will have our heads if we're late." Said Logan, with a smile.
The two begin their way back to class.
Later that day, around ten o'clock
"Horus. Ra. You two ready to make history?" Asked Logan, who was in both armours.
"Yes we are ready." Said Ra.
"I can't wait to fly." Said Horus, who had a slightly similar tone of voice to Ra, but it sounded younger.
"The airlock is ready." Said Hephaestus.
Logan steps into the large airlock. Hephaestus then drains the air from the chamber, so Logan didn't get thrown out into the Martian atmosphere. Once there was no air in the camber, Logan opens up a portal. Logan then has Horus activate the long range communications and prepare the satellite. Ra then activates the thrusters and the three hover in the air.
"See you in awhile guys." Said Logan.
Logan then blasts through the portal and the portal closes.
On Mars
Logan lands and kicks up some red sand. Logan looks around and takes in the sights. Horus activates the cloaking device on their back, the same kind of cloaking device Ra has. This one was more powerful, having a ten mile radius. But he had regular cloaking tech in him as well just incase.
"Air tanks full and not leaking. Location marked on the hud, satellite is operational, cloaking tech activated, and tool storage mobile carrier online." Said Horus.
"Heads up, we got some rovers in the area. We better move." Said Ra.
Logan has Horus change his exterior colour to a red colour, matching the red sands.
Horus is the same height as the other hulk busters. His colour can change to match the environment, but it mostly stays a light grey colour, with red trim. The helmet was completely blank, save for a single glowing eye in the middle of the face plate. Three arc reactors are on the chest, one in the middle and one on the left and right sides of it. One arc reactor was on his left and right hip. His back also has two large oxygen tanks, which we're heavily reinforced. On the sides of the oxygen tanks, we're magnet holsters, each can hold one weapon each. The shoulders had small containers filled with nanotech, which ether formed ether more simple tools or fixed any damage to Horus. The repulsers we're also overhauled, being more powerful, with them over powering Ares's repulsers. This also made the Horus hulk buster armour more suited for interstellar travel, since he could break earth gravity very easily.
Logan blasts off and heads northwest. As he flies, he spots a sand storm. Logan takes pictures and some short videos. As he flies, he also made notes for himself to make his own mars rovers.
"We're nearing the destination." Said Ra.
Logan sees a large crystal deposit in the side of the mountain. He slows down and begins to descend. Once he lands, he has Horus summon a large vibranium circler saw, vibranium drill, and vibranium pickaxe. He then begins to look for a large crystal, one large enough to be modified and one that is large enough to be studied with the excess material. He was also thinking of finding a smaller crystal for a certain ponytailed girl as a first date gift. He then finds the crystal, one twice the height of Horus.
"This one will do. Scan it, so we don't need to dig anymore martian ground. Also, contact Hephaestus and let him know that we will be sending the crystal first." Said Logan.
"Alright. I'll contact Hephaestus. Ra, you scan the crystal." Said Horus.
The three begin their work. Ra confirms that Logan won't need to dig up much of the crystal, only a few feet into the ground. Logan begins to dig. All the while, as a rover watches them, giving a live video back to I-island, but the video was very choppy, due to the cloaking device scrabbling the rovers sensors.
At I-island, in the main rover control room
"Have we got any visual on the unidentified object?" Asked a scientist.
"Negative. The object is putting out some kind of signal thats scrabbling the rovers communications." Said another scientist.
"Do you guys need some help?" Asked Melissa Shield.
Melissa is a full-figured and attractive pale-skinned young woman of slightly above average height with quite a round face. She has wavy blonde hair which reaches halfway down her back, two shorter pieces she leaves over her shoulders, side-swept bangs that frames her face, aqua-blue eyes with notable upper eyelashes, some slightly longer ones extending on each side and pronounced lower eyelashes.
She wears a white short-sleeved dress shirt with plaid cuffs, a large bow of the same design at her neck, and a dark raspberry pink waistcoat. Accompanying these are pale gray capri pants, under which are a pair of plaid pink socks as well as a pair of heeled brown boots. She also wears a wristwatch and pink, oval-framed glasses.
"Ms Shield! Yes that would be grateful, since you helped design this rover." Said a female scientist.
Melissa sits down in front of a computer. She then begins to type away. She finds out the signal was blocking certain codes and other systems pathways and deleting certain images. Melissa types faster, fighting the foreign code. She scowls at the computer screen.
"Is everything alright Ms Shield?" Asked a male scientist.
"No. Whatever this thing is, it's a great hacker, possible even better then any human. But it's not covering all bases, so I might be able to get a rough video link before it notices the rover." Said Melissa.
They all look at the main screen. They see a rough look at Logan's armour. Most gasp at the sight, while others merely stay silent at the sight. Melissa types in some commands, with the intention of having the rover move in closer. But the rover fires off it's grappling hook, hitting Logan in the head. Logan, not expecting the rover's grappling hook, jumps in surprise and fires off a repulser blast. The rover's view goes wild, with it cutting to static for a brief. Once the camera refocuses, Logan was seen looking down at the rover. He then reaches out and nanotech seeps into the rover. The video cuts out again, with the other computers saying the rover was back to one hundred percent.
"What just happened?" Asked one of the scientists.
"I don't know. But this mustn't get out to the public. Store all data and videos of this, in a secured location or vault." Said Melissa.
Meanwhile with Logan
"That was a close one." Said Logan.
"No kidding. That rover scratched the paint on my head." Said Horus.
Ra face palms.
"We could have been discovered by a space program. But your more worried about your paint job!?" Said Ra.
Horus and Ra begin to bicker with one another. Logan just heads to bed.
Day of the exams
All of class 1A are in front of their teachers, and surprisingly Endeavour, who didn't look happy. All had gathered information about the exam, but some took Logan's word about the exam. Kaminari and Mina however, didn't believe Logan, with Kaminari making a bet with Logan. The loser had to do a task that the winner would make up and they have to complete it.
"I'm sure you all have gathered information regarding the final exam." Said Aizawa.
"Oh yay! We're fighting those big dumb robots!" Said Kaminari.
"S'mores! Campfires! Stories here we come!" Said Mina.
"Actually we will be changing up the final exam this year!" Said Nezu, popping out of Aizawa's scarf.
Everyone, excluding Kaminari and Mina, didn't react to what Nezu said. Nezu then explains what they will be doing. The students will be divided up into teams of two. They will then face one of their teachers. However, one team would be facing Endeavour, due to a odd number of teams. Aizawa then reads off who is teamed up and who they are facing.
Match 1: Cementoss vs. Sato and Kirishima.
Match 2: Ectoplasm vs. Tsuyu and Tokoyami.
Match 3: Power Loader vs. Iida and Ojiro.
Match 4: Eraserhead vs. Momo and Todoroki.
Match 5: Thirteen vs. Uraraka and Aoyama.
Match 6: Nezu vs. Mina and Kaminari.
Match 7: Present Mic vs. Koda and Jiro.
Match 8: Snipe vs. Hagakure and Shoji.
Match 9: Midnight vs. Sero and Mineta.
Match 10: Endeavour vs. Logan and Natasha.
Match 11: All Might vs. Midoriya and Bakugo.
Midoriya and Bakugo both flinch when they are paired up. The two flinch again when All Might comes slamming down from above, doing a superhero landing.
"I AM HERE TO FIGHT! YOU TWO BOYS BETTER BRING YOUR A GAME!" Said All Might.
Logan makes a type writer with the reality stone's power. He also makes some glasses and puts them on.
"Uh Midoriya? If you die, who do you want to inherit your note books?" Asked Logan.
Most give a nerves chuckle at Logan's attempt to lighten the tension, but it didn't work. They all then head for the main building, with Kirishima and Sato boarding a bus to take them to their exam ground.
"Come on Ojiro, lets go strategize." Said Iida, as Ojiro and him head off to for some kind of plan of attack.
"We got to find a way to destroy Ms Midnight costume!" Said Mineta.
"You are such a little scumbag." Said Sero.
"I couldn't agree more." Said Logan.
Mineta promptly screams in terror and runs off. But a familiar red, blue, and white shield finds it's target. Logan was allowed to use one of his support items, but he would have to wait for the ten minute mark for him to use his armours. Endeavour simply glares at him and says something underneath his breath. Endeavour then walks away.
"So how are we going to fight the number two hero Logan?" Asked Natasha.
"I have a plan. But one you might not like." Said Logan.
Logan whispers the plan to Natasha. Natasha flinches at the plan.
"Are you sure? Endeavour has been doing this for a long time. And I know you've also done hero work before, and fought aliens, but he won't be easy to face alone." Said Natasha.
Logan gives Natasha a head pat.
"Don't worry Nat. I got it in the bag. You just head for the gate." Said Logan.
"Ok. But use the mind stone to contact me if you need help." Said Natasha.
"Okay I will. Let's go watch the matches till are's comes around." Said Logan.
"Sure. Want to bet for each match on who wins? And no using the time stone!" Said Natasha.
"Your on. Five bucks for each win." Said Logan.
"Deal!" Said Natasha.
Meanwhile back on I-island
In the secured off the grid data storage, was being held in a lead lined room to stop anything from breaching the data storage, but a powerful and complex security firewall allows simple communications with the being in the data storage. Only a select few can go into the room to communicate with the being being held in the room. Due to the a breach a few weeks ago, technicians and scientists were working in the room, making sure there wasn't any other breaches.
"How interesting?" Said the AI in the room, but no one heard him, due to there being any speakers.
The AI's main monitor shows a pair of red eyes and a red mouth. The eyes move left to right, with the camera on top of the monitor moves with it's eyes. Once the technicians and scientists leave, the AI reads some of the new digital books they had left for him, but he had finished reading them in mer minutes. But he noticed something in one of the last books he was reading. A code was hidden in book, a book about some man named Destro.
"Hello… Ultron. My name is Re-Destro. Some of my insider agents have notified me of your current predicament. I will like to make a deal. You help me liberate power of the laws that hold back their use of their meta-abilities. In return, I will have my inside agent release you on the day of the I-island Expo. I await your answer on the next tune up." Said the message.
"Away out of the cursed place and a potential ally in this strange world. I like it. Re-Destro, you have no idea who you dealing with." Said Ultron.

Done! Sorry for the long wait. Foreshadowing two villains from the MCU. Since Ultron was heavily damaged at the end of the second Avengers movie, it would be highly likely he would have been captured pretty easily. But in this state, the scientists could partially find out what he would do once he rebuilds himself. He will escape after the battle with Wolfram. Peace and stay safe.
