Vivian was so annoyed. She didn't know if it was because of the way Jax acted or the way she acted but either way, she was annoyed and couldn't rectify her mood. Even as she packed her navy blue floral duffel bag. She grabbed her laptop and shoved it in the black cloth case before she grabbed her phone and charger to make her way out of the bedroom. She made it downstairs and she was walking out into the garage when she stopped short of her sedan at the sound of a lone Harley getting closer and closer.

Vivian placed her bags in the backseat of her BMW and she moved back into the house, going to the front door to lock it before she made her way back into her kitchen where a small lunch bag sat, prepared for her trip. She grabbed the bag and made her way back into the garage, ignoring the knocking on her front door as she opened the garage and got in her car, starting it to pull out of the garage.

"Viv!" Jax shouted, coming around from the front door to the door. He watched the sedan stop and the garage door closed. He sighed as he moved to the idling sedan and rounded it to the driver's side. "We need to talk."

She rolled down the window and put her sedan in park. "What about?"

"Don't be like that." He shook his head. "I'm coming with you. I'll leave late sunday night and hit the road to Oregon." He looked over the brunette and sighed. "Babe."

Vivian nodded her head slowly. "Ah, so you figured out a way to work your schedule out? Great. I'd like to get going then. It's a six hour drive."

"What beach are we going to?" He opened her door and squatted beside the sedan, grabbing her hand. "We'll talk and we will get this worked out. We will work on communication with each other."

She nodded her head slowly. "I hope we will. I hope we figure this all out. It won't happen in a day or even a week but I would like to try. I love you and I'm just trying to fix this." She squeezed his hand as she turned her gaze onto the man beside her. "If you don't discuss the club stuff with me, how am I supposed to know what your schedule is like? Or what your responsibilities are?"

"I'll tell you whatever you want to know about the club." He leaned up, kissing her cheek. "I've got my bag, I'll ride up behind you. Ok?"

Six hours and ten minutes later. It was now three-thirty and Vivian pulled up to the garage, Jax behind her as she looked in the rearview mirror to see the iron-clad gate closing. It wasn't a bad ride, she was just ready to get out of the car and get into her swimsuit. She was happy to be here. The Anderson Family beach house.

She got out of the car and grabbed the bags from the backseat. "Bring your stuff in. The bike is fine, ok?" She smiled as she grabbed his hand to pull him to the door. She unlocked it and walked into the pristine house, dropping the keys on the black table adjacent from a beautiful painting. "Come on. We're upstairs in my old room. I cannot for the life of me bring myself to ever sleep in my parents old room." She shrugged. "Neither can my siblings though."

"This is crazy. I feel like there's more to know about you." Jax wrapped an arm around the brunette as she led him upstairs to the second floor. "It's beautiful though."

Vivian nodded her head as she walked into the first bedroom on the right. "Welcome to Teen Viv's room. It's much more tame than I used to have it though. It used to be all anchors and nautical. Very cute but I decided to take away the anchors and keep the whole gray and navy look." She dropped her bags on the bed before she dropped herself down. "It's been a long time since I was here. I used to escape here when school was too much."

"You are gorgeous. You look like a lot of weight lifted off of your shoulders." He smiled as he took his jacket off and looked around to find hooks to hang it on. "What do you want to do first?"

Vivian shrugged her shoulders." Why don't we go downstairs to the back patio and just relax? Maybe you can tell me about the club." She sat up, pulling her shirt off of her body before she slipped out of her Nike shorts. "Come on, get in some shorts, get some sun." She quickly changed into a navy blue bikini and made her way out of the room. "Come on, waiting on you!"

"I'm right behind you. Bossy ass woman." Jax adjusted his gym shorts as he followed the brunette down the stairs. "Where'd you go?" He stopped, looking towards the kitchen and finding it empty. He turned, making his way into the family room, stopping as he spotted her sitting down in a hot tub outside on the patio. He walked out to where the brunette was sitting, her eyes closed. "I thought I would always love her. I thought she was as good as it could get."

Vivian opened her eyes and looked up at the man. "What?"

"Tara. I thought she was the end all-be all. But she decided to leave and when I didn't go with her, I got the chance to be alone. Get to know myself again. I learned a lot about myself too. I learned I was better off without her, I was being dragged down with her and I realized I was a dumbass kid trying to act like I was in love. With Wendy? I wanted to love her, I did. She was a good friend, she was nice, gave good advice but I never got past a good friend. The sex was good but it wasn't enough to make me stay. We agreed on a divorce and our second appointment with a lawyer to get it all worked out, she told me we slipped up." Jax shook his head as he sat down with the brunette. "And you. You are the end all-be all. You are what I have always wanted. You're what I've always needed. You make me want to be better, do better."

The brunette shrugged her shoulders. "I'm not asking you to change."

"I know that, I know you accept what I bring to the table but you being who you are makes me want to be better for you. I want to be someone who deserves you and I was doing good until I fucked up." Jax relaxed in the hot tub before grabbing the brunette's hand. "I'm sorry I hurt you, Viv. All I wanted was for us to finally sit down and say that this is what we want and we're aiming for a good future together but I'm a fucking moron."

Vivian nodded her head slowly. "Why did you actually do it? You knew you were better off without her and you love me and wanted this big and bright future with me. It doesn't make sense."

"I guess, as stupid as this sounds, to make sure there was nothing left. A piece of curiosity took over wondering what I ever was thinking." Jax shook his head slowly. "I have no solid reason, Viv. I definitely didn't do this to hurt you." He sighed as he looked up at her. "I know that I did but it was not intentional. I was honest with you about it because I couldn't go through life with you not knowing and making your own choice about staying or going."

She nodded again. "Please don't do it again. It did hurt me. I know we never sat down and discussed what was going on with us. We called it a relationship but we didn't really discuss shit." She sighed. "I want full blown, one hundred percent commitment. Exclusivity. Is that something you can do?"

"Yes. I can and will do this. You and I will get back on track and find our way back to our normal." He pulled her to him, allowing her to straddle his lap as he leaned forward, catching her lips in a kiss. "No one else but you, darlin'."

Vivian nodded her head once more as she scrunched up her face. "Stop calling me that, weirdo. With that terrible little grin too. Ew."

October 12, 2008

It was well past midnight when the couple laid down in bed and Jax pulled the brunette close to him, kissing her forehead. They'd spent their day talking about their relationship and relaxing on the beach before having dinner and watching a movie together. It felt like their normal night they used to spend together, it was nice. It was relaxing for them to be able to just relax together again.

She pressed a kiss to his bare chest and sighed before she sat up. "While you were in Nevada, my sister forced me to go on a double date with her, her husband and this guy they're friends with. We've been on a date before but it went nowhere because he was bland and the second date was cancelled because he was invited to play golf with a friend."

"How'd this recent date go?" Jax looked at the brunette, slowly starting to sit up beside the brunette. "Is that why you hung up on me when I called you?"

Vivian shook her head. "No, I was already home by the time you called. I hung up because I had nothing more to say to you. Obviously the date was a pointless waste of my time. I'm here with you, aren't I?"

"Yes. You asked about the club, do you still want to know?" He watched her nod her head. "Ok. I'm in the club, it's considered a gang because of our colors. I have been in the club since I was eighteen. I am a legacy, me and Opie both are. Our fathers created the club and at first, it was just war friends loving the Harleys. Then it somehow got dirty along the way. We run guns, that's what the runs are about that I go on. The kuttes show possession and protection over a haul. It is dangerous, we've made enemies and sometimes the enemies try to come for us because they want the guns or simply because it's a vindictive move." He sighed. "Other organizations have tried to involve us with running coke and other shit but we've stayed steady. Only guns."

The brunette nodded again. "Is that how you make the money?"

"That and the garage." He sat up, looking at the brunette. "I would never let anything happen to you though. Nothing would ever happen."

She sighed heavily. "That explains a lot though. That guy that was at my house the other night, he says he's ATF. He handed me this folder, it contained pictures of some drums or barrels. Some guys on motorcycles, gunfire, a lot of shit. I didn't really know why I was being handed the pictures."

"When I get back next week, show him to me. I want to know about him." Jax nodded his head, pulling the brunette closer.

Late that night

Vivian's car was running, she was locking up the house as she heard the Harley's engine roar to life. She sighed heavily as she looked back to see the man walking back to the house, it was a restless night prior and the day had flown by as the pair spent their time together enjoying the company of each other. She felt an arm wrap around her and leaned into the embrace, tapping in the code for the alarm.

"I'll be back Wednesday night." He whispered against her neck before pressing a kiss to her soft skin. "Maybe sooner if all goes well."

Vivian nodded slowly, feeling another series of kisses on her skin and she sighed again. It was a weak spot for her. "Yes." She couldn't get anything else out as Jax's grip on her hips tightened before he turned her around. "Wednesday."

"Correct." He nodded before catching her lips in a deepening kiss, pushing her up against the door. "When I get back, I'm going to go spend some time with Abel then I'll be there, ok?" He kissed her again. "I'm glad we did this, darlin'."

She nodded again. "That's fine, I've got some work to do with a new filing system. I hate that stupid thing we have now so I'll be busy. Call me when you get in, ok?" She kissed him softly. "Behave yourself and stay out of trouble, ok?"

October 14, 2008

Vivian walked off of the elevator and moved to her office only to stop, spotting Tara Knowles standing at the windows of the nursery, looking into the large room and the petite brunette diverted to make her way to the doctor. She cleared her throat as she came to a stop and turned to look into the room. "I've actually considered moving over to pediatrics just so I get to know those little guys after they make it to this side.

"They're so adorable." Tara murmured as she tapped on the window. "That one, with the big cheeks. She's precious."

Vivian nodded her head slowly. "She was an interesting delivery, she was giving me a hard time but she's a mama's girl. Her mom started talking during a quick break and she decided she wanted to finally meet her mom." She laughed softly. "I always said if I had kids, I better have mama's boys and girls. None of that dad is best nonsense."

"I don't want them. I wouldn't be good enough at the job for kids." Tara shrugged her shoulders, looking at Vivian. "You'd probably be good at it though."

The petite brunette nodded again. "Yeah, I said so once but I do want them. I want that feeling that I have literally seen from patient's. That mom is laying there, utterly in love when this tiny little person she just finally met. She's just exhausted from the delivery but unbothered because life is complete now. She's happy as can be with her baby in her arms now. It sounds perfect." She looked down at the stack of files in her arms. "Nothing in the world would stop her from loving and protecting her baby. I want to feel that, I want to have that."

"You want that with him, don't you?" Tara murmured as she looked at her supervisor.

Vivian shrugged her shoulders. "Not sure yet. He doesn't always think logically. I just know I want to have children." She held out a file. "Twins, she is about nine weeks along and doesn't like her current doctor. Mom is twenty-two, first pregnancy from what I've gathered. She is yours now. Keep her within the team." She turned around, walking away from the doctor towards her office when she stopped at the sight of her brother-in-law's best friend. "Looking for me?"

"Ah, Dr. Anderson." Cooper Thurman turned, smiling down at the brunette. "Eric said this is where you are now. I figured I would stop by to see you, apologize for that date. It was a bad day for me."

Vivian nodded her head. "Myself as well but all is fine. Bad days are a given, I'll let Eric know you stopped by." She offered a smile before slipping around the man only to be stopped by his hand gently grabbing her arm. "Cooper."

"I am also here about this business proposition." He raised an eyebrow at the brunette, gesturing to his laptop case. "I'd like to discuss it with you."
