Chapter 15 William, Prince of Darkness

A.N. – This chapter is centered around the enemy side from William as he attempts to find a way to make himself king by marrying a princess. I will also use disclosed generic names for the rulers of England such as for the current ruler, I will refer to them as the queen, not the actual name. Let's begin!

Short Summary – William teleports to England to transfer the power from the queen over to him. But not being royalty forces William to take matters into his own hands. The royal council agrees to make him king IF he marries a princess and makes her his queen within two weeks. And William has the perfect person in mind.

England

William appeared in a non-populated area of England to avoid suspicion. England said that they wouldn't have any involvement in the war if the security program didn't attack them and they held neutrality. This is something that would jeopardize this agreement. But in their defense, the Lyoko Warriors were ready to enter and retake France at any time, so time was short. In order to travel through neutral England, William changed his appearance which gave him a normal outfit and took the eye of his forehead. Next step was getting to where the queen was.

William traveled through the city knowing exactly where to go. As he traveled, he looked at a city that was untouched by war. He knows England was hit hard during the second world war. Still, this does not mean an easy time was coming to them. But with the queen gone, the royal forces and normal forces will not mobilize without a direct order. This gave them a short amount of time to do what they to.

William knew once the royal wedding would take place, the Lyoko Warriors would inevitably show up. For the plan he had, they would have to show up. The question is does he want them to watch the fall of their resistance or have a surprise end for them and be already married to the princess. William arrived at the palace. He saw the guards that were standing next to the main gate.

He had to keep a low profile, so murder is not an option. It would attract too much attention and then 'talking' with the queen would not be an option. He needed her at the throne and have her royal council there as well. With daylight disappearing and time running out, William only had a few hours to act. The only option would become a guard. He changed appearances and had the royal outfit with the black pants, the red suit, and the tall fuzzy hat.

"A little ridiculous, but it will get me into the palace" William said. He also used his smoke ability to create a fake gun. He wanted to be as authentic as possible.

He approached the guards and they looked at him but had no report of a guard arrival.

"Halt! State your identity and intent!" a guard said as they pointed their guns at him.

'Fools. Still have to keep a low profile' William thought. "I am William. I come from a direct order from the queen to meet her."

"We know nothing of this request."

It was last minute. Very sudden. She said it was urgent, so I had to be there ASAP. So, you wouldn't have the request."

"The queen has other matters, so what could be so urgent that she would need to speak to you?"

"It violates our neutrality. The security program plans to lead a siege by crossing the English strait and launching a surprise attack, killing many and eventually making her and killing the queen. And the warriors will not be here fast enough to save you. She must mobilize forces before this attack happens!"

"Fine, you can pass. Go, talk to her majesty."

The guards opened the gate and William passed through walking the path towards the palace.

"Master, I'm in. Approaching the palace now" William said quietly.

"Good. Continue to keep a low profile. We need this to work" the security program said.

William walked through the path and approached the palace doors. He knocked and waited patiently for someone to come. Someone opened the door.

"Business?"

"I need to speak to the queen."

"Her majesty is seeing no one right now and has no requests from anyone to see anyone, especially a guard. Go back to your post!" the doorman said.

Just before he closed the door William slipped his foot in.

"But this concerns our neutrality. The security program is coming, and her majesties life will be at risk."

"The queen needs to hear this. Follow the corridor and you'll be at the throne room."

William entered the palace and was one more step closer.

"I'm inside."

"See if you can get her to transfer power quietly. I'll instruct you" the security program said.

William entered through the double doors and came into a room where the queen sits along with her royal council. 'Perfect.' William thought as he wanted them there to make the transfer of power easier.

"Who is this?" the queen asked.

"I really don't know your majesty" one on the councilors said.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?"

"I come with a proposition. The war is ending, but your neutrality is threatened. The fabled Lyoko Warriors will come and take over to ensure that they make their promise that the world is secured before moving on Paris. I suggest I take temporary position on the throne as king so I can put up the strong resistance England needs to remain neutral."

"Denied. I will not hive up my power and when that happens, you are not royalty. Only someone from the royal family can take my position from me."

"I understand. Forgive me." William left. "I'll be back." William said quietly so they couldn't hear.

"Anyone else having a bad feeling about that guy?"

"I don't think he is of the royal guards, or even of English descendant" a councilor said.

"Tell the guards not to let him in. I have a feeling he will come back. Also lock all doors."

Outside the Palace

William was outside the gates and needed a plan B. He contacted his master.

"Plan failed. We need another option."

"As long as the royal family exists, your chances of becoming king are dismal" the security program said.

"So how so I solve this problem?"

"Take them out of the picture. The only royal we need left is the queen."

"But there are so many."

"I am giving you the option to use lethal force. Do what you must to eliminate them all from existence."

William needed to gather all royals in one place because one disturbance would force them into hiding and eventually catch wind of the resistance along with the warriors. He didn't need them to get there till he needed them to be there. So, he sent a request to all royals to meet in a location to discuss a royal matter.

One Hour Later

One hour after the request was sent out, all the royals were in the place at the same time. William's plan was to eliminate them and then get rid of the queen next. Since he was planning a takeover, he didn't need to disguise himself.

"Greetings, I have plans for your queen and the throne for myself, so I am offering a way for all of you to walk free. Please note, this is something I usually don't do. My only offer, hand over all royal power to the queen and you will walk free."

They took a moment to think this over. They all took a vote, and a unanimous decision came in for a no and not hand power over to the queen.

"Okay, I like it this way." William held up a line that could be used as a distress signal and destroyed it. "No salvation now." Suddenly ten Krabs appeared behind William and a look of fear showed on all their faces. "Kill them." In a barrage of lasers all royals were killed and the only thing that was heard was screams of terror. "Now for the queen."

The Next Day, Morning

William had to act quickly as it would only be a matter of time before the queen found out that her whole family was murdered. He used the same disguise to go past the guards, but they denied him this time.

"Halt! No access! The queen has banned you from the palace!" a guard said.

"Move now or suffer. Your choice."

"Last chance! Leave now!" as their guns were ready to fire.

"Okay, suffer it is."

William summoned his sword and got rid of the disguise revealing himself.

"Fire!"

The guns fired and William deflected the bullets and moved up to one and stabbed him through the chest and saw the face of death on him. He then jumped behind the second and impaled him from behind killing him instantly.

"Never mess with the prince of darkness."

William walked through the gate and walked up to the palace and found the doors locked. He then used a shockwave from his sword to blast off the doors.

"Takeover time!"

William went to the throne room and someone came rushing through.

"Your majesty!"

"What?"

Before he could mutter another word, William's sword came through his chest and he fell.

"I think it's time for new power."

"What do you mean?"

"Your whole royal family is no more. All dead and that only leaves you."

"You came here again trying to get my throne."

"Not trying, taking."

"Not happening."

"I kept a low profile, but now I have the okay to use lethal force." He then used his smoke to grab the queen and bring her to him. "Your guards outside are dead. Your doorman is dead. And you are all that is left." He dropped her but not enough to kill her from the impact. "And this is your end." With the queen on her back William stabbed her by putting his sword right through her.

All the councilors were horrified by the sight that they just witnessed. They could not believe what they have encountered. Now their queen was dead, and it was only a matter of time before they could suffer the same fate.

"Now since that ordeal is in order, we can discuss the transfer of power."

"That won't happen."

"No queen and no royal to take the throne."

"But you cannot be king. No princess to serve as your queen."

"So, if I marry a princess, I can become king?"

"If you do it in the allowed amount of time before a new royal family takes place."

"How much time?"

"Two weeks. If you find a suitable princess, marry her, and make her your queen, the council will give you the position of king."

"Prepare the palace for the wedding. I have the perfect candidate for the job."

"Who?"

"Aelita, princess of Lyoko."

A.N. – Come on, like Aelita wouldn't be the suitable candidate for William to marry to become king. I know this is not how royalty works, but for story purposes, just go with it. So next chapter will be part two of William's plans to get Aelita and get back to England to marry her, then the royal wedding! Also, a special character makes their grand return during the royal wedding! And we have not seen this person since The Rise of Anti-Xana, so they will return! PM me with story ideas if you have any!
