After returning to Power Corps, HQ, Marc & the others went to work compiling the footage from the fight with Abobo to Post on Metro tube. While the guys went to work, Marian & Kami were taken to Kami's apartment. While Billy carried Marian, Jimmy reluctantly held Kami along the way. As they made their way, they stopped a few times to take down a few gangs rioting in the streets. While Billy & Jimmy were in no shape to go another round with Abobo, they could still put a few gang members in their place. Leaving them tied up & out cold in the process, finally, the group made it to the roof of Kami's apartment. The outside resembled a two-floor motel along the street; the top had the added benefit of being a common area though no one but them was up there.

"Okay, thanks, Billy; hey Kami, are you ready to?" she asked as Billy let her down

Turning around, Marian saw that Kami was still being held by Jimmy as the two just looked at each other. Blushing hard as Kami's glasses were fogged up, while Marian couldn't help but find this cute, Billy saw it as an opportunity to tease Jimmy.

"Are you two gonna kiss or what?"

Hearing this broke their trance as Jimmy sat Kami down & the two looked away from each other much to Billy's amusement.

"Okay, look, you two obviously have some things to work out from earlier, so I suggest you do it without us watching," she said, taking Kami's keys to her apartment & Billy by the ear to drag him away down the stairs giving them their privacy.

"Okay, so where do we begin?" asked Kami

The Next Morning

As Kami woke up, she looked around her apartment; her apartment is essentially a large carpet covered square. The upper left corner is an exception since her kitchen was there & the tiled floor was exposed. Stepping over Marian, who was still asleep on her spare futon, Kami hurried to the bathroom on the far right, excited for the day.

"I better hurry,"

While small allowing one person at a time, the bathroom was still big enough to house the essentials, including a tub. Stripping down, Kami couldn't help but jump for joy a little causing her boobs & butt to jiggle.

"I'm so excited; I can't believe he said yes,"

Last Night

"Okay, so where do we begin?" asked Kami

"look, I'm sorry for grabbing your chest,"

"it's not your fault I shouldn't have moved in so close,"

Both let out a sigh of relief, feeling that they at least eased the awkwardness between them.

"Hey, Jimmy,"

"yeah?"

"I was really impressed with the way you fought in the tournament & Abobo,"

"Thanks,"

"I was wondering if you could teach me?"

Jimmy was taken aback; he had just been asked by Kami to teach her how to fight something he was not expecting.

"you want me to teach you Sou-Setsu-Ken?

"Is that what your fighting style is called?"

"well, I use northern style & Billy uses southern,"

"Northern & Southern?"

"our fighting style was created by our ancestors, Northern focuses on strength & power moves & southern is agility & flexibility,

"I see,"

"our grandfather mastered both styles making him a master; Billy & I have only learned one fighting style each, but we're training in the other type,"

"so, do you think you can teach me the basics of your style? I want to be more than just the girl in the chair,"

"I suppose I can teach you a few grapples & chokehold moves,"

"really? Oh, thank you,"

Kami was so happy that Jimmy was willing to teach her that she hugged him; despite the damage he was still recovering from, the feeling of her chest against him felt good, really good.

"thank you, I promise you won't regret this," she said very excitedly.

After her shower was done, though still a little wet, she hurried to her drawers, putting on her spandex sports underwear & a blue tracksuit she had. Though the suit was tight on her, she didn't care. Stepping outside, she was greeted by the sight of the sunrise; at this time, the gangs retreat for the day, making it safe to be out. As Kami prepared to leave, the door next to her opened up, much to her dismay. Stepping out was a female tenant; this one was slightly older, with Jet black hair & a slim but curvy figure & dressed in the latest fashion. This person is Mandy, a stuck up tenant who often bullies Kami.

"oh, good fatty, you're here. I was just going to leave this in front of your door, but since you're here, you can toss this out for me," Mandy said, holding a bag of garbage

"my name is not fatty & that's your garbage; you throw it out,"

"now, now you wouldn't want me to tell my brothers you're disrespecting me."

Mandy often uses the fact her older brothers are in a gang to intimidate others like Kami to do things for her out of fear of suffering her older brothers' wrath. Kami gave her a death-stare, but mandy was not intimidated; instead, she dropped the bag at Kami's feet before walking off saying.

"thought so fatty know your place," she said, laughing in her nasal voice

"Soon, you're gonna learn yours',"

Taking the bag, Kami headed downstairs; turning the corner, she walked up a small alleyway that led to the building's back. The back had a vacant lot that could be seen from her balcony in her apartment. Unfortunately, the lot was filled with garbage & items thrown away; finding a trash can, tossing out the trash & was about to leave, she was greeted by another person. This person was an elderly woman in her late 60s; she had short red hair & was a little chubby, standing a little shorter in height than Kami.

"That bitch got you again?" she asked in a thick Irish accent

"Yeah, Tommy,"

Tommy Cotter is the owner /superintendent of Kami's building, another victim of Mandy's bullying. Mandy knows Tommy fears something happening to her building, one of the few things her late husband left her.

"If I still had my boys, that brat would be calling me ma'am,"

"she'll get hers soon,"

"by the way, what are you doing up so early?" asked Tommy

"oh, a friend is going to teach me self-defense & you?"

"well, good for you, as for me, that bastard in A9 skipped out on paying his back rent; he must have slipped out during the gang riots last night,"

"that's terrible,"

"Yeah, well, now I've got to put that apartment up for rent fast to get a new tenant. I can barely afford to maintain this place," "sanitation won't help clean this lot & Guisman's waste disposal company is too expensive,"

I might be able to solve your renter's problem,"

"How so?"

"I'll have to tell you later, I'm almost late!"

Kami raced off to meet Jimmy; the trip would have been shorter by bus, but she decided to get a little exercise in by jogging. As Kami ran, she found herself in an embarrassing situation as her chest forced the top half of her tracksuit to unzip, exposing her sports bra covered breasts.

"ahh! Not again!"

At first, Kami wanted to stop & fix her top but then decided not to waste time & continued on. Adding to her embarrassment, her chest was now freely bouncing as she ran; the only saving grace was that no one else was out there to see, but she knew it was a matter of time before she's seen.

"Why do I keep making a fool of myself?" she thought, folding her arms around her chest.

To Kami, her chest was the source of unwanted attention, mostly her school life. She didn't have any female friends outside of Marian because most of them hated that her chest was more significant than theirs. The boys were worse, always making perverted remarks about her chest, curvy figure, or being very clumsy. Making her self-conscious about herself. School life would have been much worse if it wasn't for her friends in the power corps, keeping them in check, but she knew she couldn't rely on them forever.

"I better hurry,"

After 1 hour & 30min of jogging, Kami made it to the restaurant. To her joy, Jimmy was standing outside, waiting for her in an A-shirt & sweat pants.

"oh hey, Jimmy, sorry if I'm late,"

Jimmy didn't respond; instead turned his head, blushing, confusing Kami until she looked down. Realizing her sports bra was still exposed, Kami's face was now red too & her glasses steamed as she quickly fixed her top.

"I'm so sorry,"

"it's fine," he replied as he led her into the restaurant

"he probably thinks I'm some kind of perv," she said to herself, not knowing that Jimmy heard her.

Leading her through the secret passageway, the two began making their way to the dojo. Kami wanted to get their minds off of their incident, so she decided to ask a question.

"I noticed that Billy isn't here,"

"he left before you came, said he was going to help Marian with something,"

"oh, then he must be on his way to my apartment,"

"yeah,"

"so you think it's best to teach me down here?"

"The gangs may not be active now, but I think it safer training in the garden,"

"Okay,"

Led back into the garden, Jimmy took off his shirt, revealing his naked upper body; Kami was in awe at how well built Jimmy is despite a few scars he had.

Wow, were all those from Abobo?"

"Naw, these are from years of training,"

Kami couldn't help but feel attracted to Jimmy in that instant; he reminded her of all the hot guys from all the dating sims that she likes to play in her spare time.

"I can put my shirt back on if it distracts you,"

"no, no, I'm fine,"

"Okay, then we should start with some warm-up's,"

"Okay, what's first?"

"I need to test your focus & endurance, so I'm going to have you do a few exercises,"

Jimmy tried to show her beginner tai chi; however, Kami was still too unfocused to do it properly. Jimmy then had Kami start her exercises; unfortunately, her attempts were impeded by her being more focused not looking like a fool, which caused her to make clumsy mistakes & her top opening up a few times.

Eventually, Jimmy suggested that they take a break as the two sat under the tree opposite of each other.

"I'm sorry for wasting your time, Jimmy,"

"you didn't; today was for me to see how I can teach you,"

"you can't. I'm unteachable; I wanted to be better, but all I did was make myself look like something out of an ecchi anime,"

"you're not unteachable, but I do see what one of your problems are; you're very self-conscious."

"self-conscious?"

"you fear embarrassing yourself & what others think when you do, you lose focus, which leads to making mistakes," he informed,

"you're right; I thought when I joined the power corps, I thought fighting for the city would help me be a stronger person, but I'm always thinking about what others think of me, even my friends,"

"tell me something, how did you join the Power Corps?

"it was about a year ago, something was stolen from me & I went to get it back,"

"What did they take?"

"It was my mother's necklace,"

"mother's necklace?"

"it was a silver necklace with a sapphire stone in the center,"

"It was all I had left of my family after they disappeared & the owner of my building took me in when I was little,"

"how'd they get it?"

"It was taken from my locker; when I went to get it after gym class, it was gone,"

"do you know who did it?"

"some of the girls in my school, they've hated me throughout high school because I developed early & to them, I was stealing all the boys' attention, but the only reason they showed any interest in me was the same reason the girls in my school hated me except for Marian, she was the only one who didn't hate me,"

"then what?"

"I found a note to where they hid it the next day, in Metro park."

"I see,"

"despite Marian telling me not to, I went to find it despite knowing that was goblin territory,"

"goblin territory?"

"The goblins are one of the lesser gangs that run amok at night; they took over Metro park, even built a wall around the whole park; they have a reputation of assaulting women,"

"The police let this happen?"

"it's all part of the deal with the police; they get to do whatever from sunset to sunrise,"

"I'll be paying those bastards a visit later," thought Jimmy. "go on," he said

"I knew it was dangerous, but I wanted it back," she explained, "I spent hours looking for it by the time I realized the time it was already dark; I tried to get out as fast as I could, but I was cornered by the goblins & their leader who was wearing my necklace,"

"damn," he thought

"before they could do anything, Marian came out of nowhere swinging a bat, taking out as many as she could before we escaped to safety; after that, she told me how she was the leader of the power corps & offered me a chance to join & I accepted,"

"so that's how you joined,"

"yeah, but I'm still dead weight. I'm no use to anyone outside of a computer,"

"no, you're not; you helped make last night a success, & you may not be a fighter yet, but I promise you will be,"

"thank you, Jimmy,"

"as for those losers, you shouldn't let them make you feel ashamed of your body because you have nothing to be ashamed of,"

Jimmy quickly realized what he said & fearing he might have said the wrong thing; Jimmy tried to think of something else to say, but Kami came from around the side to ask him.

"do you mean that?"

"well yes I, I didn't mean like I'm some kind of perv," stammered Jimmy as his whole upper body turned red,

Kami took notice of Jimmy's reaction to her question; most boys see her as some sex object; others saw her as unapproachable; even her friends at the power corps treat her like a sister. However, Jimmy was different; his reaction was something different he was flustered; this is something Kami never seen before; to her, it was new & flattering. Before kami could ask him another question, a grumbling sound came from her belly, signaling that she was hungry.

"I take it you didn't eat before you came,"

"I was so excited I forgot,"

Jimmy decided to do something about it, with a sigh as he grabbed his shirt & began leaving.

"Jimmy?"

"continue working on your sets; I'm going to go & get something to eat for us,"

"wait, the stores are all still closed,"

"no problem, I'll visit the local food markets & make something from scratch,"

"you can cook?"

"someone's gotta be the chef,"

After changing, Jimmy headed out, making his way out through the shopping center; Jimmy noticed how much a ghost town the center was.

"man, it's already 6:30 & this place is still on lockdown,"

Jimmy figured they wanted to wait until Everything was completely safe. Seeing the food market was still closed, too, he saw a sign that said the store will open at 8:00.

"Okay, that means I got time to make a detour," he thought with a grin

Leaving the center & heading to a safe area on top of a nearby roof, Jimmy touched his belt buckle, activating his relic.

"Requip!"

In a flash, Jimmy was back in his costume, fully repaired despite the damage it took during the fight with Abobo. Thanks to it being made from a mystic self-repairing fabric that Marian used when she made it.

"you just gotta love magic,"

Taking off with great speed toward the park, despite the city being different from when he left, he still knew where to find the park. The park was at the center of Metro city; it was once the centerpiece of the whole city. Despite being young when he visited the Park, Jimmy could still remember playing with Billy & Marian.

"well, I'm here & holy crap, what the hell happened here!?"

The park was surrounded by a large wall topped off with barbed wire; Jimmy saw just how far the goblins went to control the park.

"maybe I should have brought billy in on this; no, I'm good,"

Leaping over the wall, Jimmy got a full view of the park's inside; it was a horror show.

"This place looks like a fucking disaster area," he thought "how the hell this damn city allowed this to happen,"

Walking along the broken trail, Jimmy started reminiscing on how he remembered the park & hoped to attract the goblins' attention. Going further, Jimmy saw more of the park's fall from grace.

"This place is sad,"

As he walked, Jimmy noticed that he was now being followed, precisely what he wanted.

"Okay, I'll lead them to an open area; the playground isn't far from here,"

Jimmy kept moving until he reached the playground; the whole area was rusted & falling apart, but it was still the most open area he could find in the park. As Jimmy leaned against the rusted Jungle gym, he started hearing more sounds.

"so they're making their move, about time,"

Slowly figures started emerging from the bushes advancing on Jimmy; getting a better look at them, he saw how they all made themselves look like actual goblins. They were all covered in green body paint, their heads shaved, they also wore prosthetic ears, noses & false teeth to help them look more goblin-like.

"wow, taking this whole goblin thing a little too far, fellas,"`

"you dare mock us when we have you outnumbered," said one goblin

"Hey, this guy looks familiar," said another

"yeah, from that video, we saw he was one of the guys who beat Abobo,"

"guess the others uploaded the video,"

Suddenly all the goblins took a step back out of fear upon recognizing Jimmy; this causes him to smirk as he stepped forward.

"Hey, wait, there's 50 of us here; we can take this guy if we rush him,"

"sure you rape happy bastards want to take a chance like that," said Jimmy cracking his knuckles

As Jimmy & the goblins surrounding him prepared for a fight, the sound of another person coming with some goblins opening a path to let him through to greet Jimmy; the man was large & obese to Jimmy; he looked like an overgrown pig. Jimmy couldn't tell if the guy was wearing prosthetics like the others or his real face; either way, he was disturbing.

"damn, this guy looks more like a moblin than a goblin,"

Based on his appearance, Jimmy could tell that thing was the goblins' leader & despite the fat fold of his neck, he could see a necklace around his neck, Kami's necklace.

"well…well, what brings one of the double dragons to my turf?"

"retribution," said Jimmy as he smiled & he cracked his knuckles.
