The time-traveling Guardian contained records with a depiction of the four Divine Beasts falling under the control of Calamity Ganon. These records also included an image of a scene West of Hyrule. With the inevitable revival of this malevolent force, Vah Medoh and Vah Naboris were poised to attack. Seeing the unmistakable blue lights of Vah Medoh, the party held out hope that Urbosa and Revali still stood. Cheetah led the group to ensure their rescue while there was still time…
Urbosa while inside Naboris was battling against a super quick blight that moved as fast as lightning and was dubbed Thunderblight Ganon, keeping her in a corner. "I'm in trouble…"
Revali flew across the skies around Medoh as a blight fired at him with its cannon like arms. The blight, dubbed Windblight Ganon, soon managed a hit and spilled all his arrows as another shot grazed him. "Just a scratch." he said as he fell from the sky.
Both blights went for the killing blow at that same instant. Just when it seemed like both would meet their ends, their lives were saved.
For Revali's part, Windblight Ganon was knocked off its aim by an arrow fired by the Rito Warrior, Teba.
As for Urbosa, a young Gerudo girl came flying in with a sand seal, plowing into Thunderblight Ganon.
"Where did you…" Urbosa said.
"Lady Urbosa…" she said. "For now, let us focus on winning this fight."
The heroes had arrived and looked at the footage from the beasts.
"So now it's Riju and Teba." Dan said.
"And just in time too. That should buy us some time to get to them." Vera said.
"No disrespect towards Revali, but we should rescue Urbosa first." Cheetah said.
"You're right about that. We've fought Thunderblight Ganon before and it was a pain to take down. She's in the most danger right now." Hope said.
"Then let's hurry to Vah Naboris as quickly as we can." Ichiro said.
"Then I suppose you don't mind if I assist, then." a voice said.
"That voice… So, you came here too." Jude said.
"Apologies for the delay." Milla said as she entered the battlefield. "Sidon, Yunobo, great job on your part in this."
"We should be the ones thanking you, m'lady." SIdon said.
"Yeah! It's thanks to you that the four of us are even here." Yunobo said.
"So it was true. It really was you that brought them here." Jude said.
"I had a feeling that even with all of you, there was a chance things might still play out the way they would. So it never hurts to set up a back up plan." Milla said.
"Nice work, Milla. I missed fighting alongside you since our very first adventure. Now, let's go and make history!" David said.
Together with Milla, the heroes fought their way through the monster hordes and cut a path to Vah Naboris, not wasting any time heading for it.
"Jude, David, everyone, Teba is a part of your force, so I will leave the task of rescuing Revali to you. We'll handle Thunderblight Ganon." Milla said.
"Roger that, Milla. Don't die on us in there." David said.
"Don't worry. I won't." Milla said as she rushed off to Vah Naboris.
Inside Vah Naboris, Thunderblight Ganon was holding its own against the two Gerudo royals.
"I thought maybe...I was strong enough to protect you." Riju said.
Urbosa then looked back. "Listen, you bought us much needed time. Look who's here to help." she said as Milla entered.
"You...actually, we can talk later." Riju said.
"Yes. For now, we have an enemy to dispatch. You have fought well, Urbosa. Leave the rest to us." Milla said.'
Thunderblight Ganon zipped around the room before it charged to attack Milla.
"Fire Ball!" Milla said as she shot orbs of fire at Thunderblight Ganon.
Thunderblight Ganon quickly blocked as it zipped right back at Milla who jumped back.
"So they weren't exaggerating. It's incredibly quick, although it does appear weak. So the speed is to make up for its lack of power." Milla thought. "Sunburst!" Milla said as a giant flaming orb descended on Thunderblight Ganon. Try as the spawn of Ganon could, it wasn't able to get away from such a large spell, and was hit with lots of damage. "Now, I think it's time for my trump card." she said as she executed her Mystic Arte. "Come! And gather! Combine! Take shape! And be my blade!" she said as she dashes forward, lunging to the ground as feathers burn behind her feet in a blazing line. She then raises her sword skyward, calling forth splashes of water, turns around and swipes a blade of wind, leaps back into the air, and summons blocks of stone to strike the enemy. Finally, she causes a glyph consisting of the four elemental colors to appear around her. "Elemental Mastery!" she called out as she gestures with her arms to emanate forth streaks of supreme power.
Thunderblight Ganon screeched in agony before it soon faded away into nothing.
"I'm not used to being rescued but...thank you." Urbosa said.
"Lady Milla." Riju said as she and her Sand Seal, Patricia, approached, Riju bowing. "Thank you so much for letting me get the chance to save Lady Urbosa from her grim fate."
"No thanks necessary, Riju. You did well in holding out for as long as you did." Milla said.
"From one Gerudo to another, I give you my thanks." Urbosa said. "You are certainly a strong fighter. What's your name?"
"I am Milla Maxwell, Lord of Spirits. At least, in my own time." Milla said.
With Revali and Teba, they continued to fight against Windblight Ganon but their arrows were not doing any damage to it.
"That thing is still standing?" Teba said.
"Perhaps, but I feel as though the wind may finally be at our backs." Revali said looking to see the heroes arriving below.
(Cue- Reach Out to The Truth- Persona 4)
An electric blast was fired from David's guitar as it hit Windblight Ganon.
"Sorry we're late, Teba." David said.
"No apologies needed. I'm just glad I was able to buy you enough time to get here." Teba said.
"Well it did take you long enough to get here, hm? I know I'm worth the trouble, but you really shouldn't have." Revali said.
"Oh, come on, Revali. There's no shame in asking for help every once in a while." David said.
"David's right, ya know!" Siege called from below as Reginn and Freyja were at his side. "You can always use a little help, yeah, it hurts your pride the first time you ask it, but you'll get farther with friends than you will solo!" Siege added, as he, Freyja, and Reginn were taking down extra attackers from below. "Think of the glory and achievements you'll be known for when friends help you!"
"So, stay back and rest, Revali. Leave this to us." Jude said.
Windblight Ganon howled as it unleashed a barrage of shots at the incoming fighters. They dodged the laser shots as they attacked.
"Let's rock, Hestu!" David said.
"Shakashaka! Right with you!" Hestu said.
David plays a few chords, sending lightning blasts at Windblight Ganon while Hestu shakes his maracas to the rhythm, releasing sound waves.
Vera takes the chance to fire Bomb, Freeze and Shock arrows at Windblight Ganon.
"Mind if I wind it up for you two to blast it away?" David asked, looking to Revali and Teba.
"Not at all." Teba said.
"Alright. Here goes!" David said as he winds up and swings his guitar at Windblight Ganon, sending it flying.
"Let's end this!" the two Rito Warriors said as they unleashed their arrows upon it and destroying it completely.
"Aw, yeah! We totally rocked that guy like a hurricane." David said.
"Heh… here I am…" Siege said, seeming like he was continuing the song from the reference as he smiled a little.
"Ha… So it's all made sense now." Revali said looking at Teba and Vera. "The girl learned the ways of our people through this one. Well, I would have been fine even if you didn't show up."
"I never imagined that the champion would be so…" Teba said.
"Yeah, don't worry about it. Once you get to know him, he's a big softie." David said.
"Yes, but we have more important matters at hand." Urbosa said. "Please tell us what happened at Hyrule castle."
"Yeah… Long story short, Calamity Ganon has been revived and Hyrule Castle is swarming with Guardians and monsters." Sectonia said.
"With Milla's help in bringing these four from the future, your deaths and Ganon's takeover of the Divine Beasts was prevented." Hope said.
"So, how does it feel to have your fates changed?" David asked.
"Hard to say considering we still live. However, if you are looking for a proper answer, it is nice." Urbosa said.
"I am inclined to agree. In a sort of whimsical way, it feels quite refreshing." Revali said.
"Yes, I agree. You all have done a lot of work for our sakes. Thank you." Mipha siad.
"Yep. You little guys really are something." Daruk said.
"Yeah. Sorry we couldn't tell you guys we were from the future earlier." David said.
"It's fine." Urbosa said. "Now...we must focus on taking back Hyrule."
"Urbosa is right. We're not exactly out of the woods yet. There is still a lot of ground we need to cover. And there's no doubt that Astor took notice of this." Cheetah said.
"Not like that's stopped us before. He can send whatever he wants at us, we'll take them all on!" David said.
"Hahaha… Your cheerfulness is quite contagious." Cheetah said. "And… thank you for snapping out of that trance earlier."
"Heh. Don't worry about it. That wasn't the first time you held my throat like that, anyway." David said.
"Yes, I remember. I nearly killed you in that grip." Cheetah said.
"Yeah, if we hadn't mentioned Chiaki, things probably would've gotten very ugly. But in the end, you still didn't give up, and that's the kind of resolve we need right now." David said.
"Yes. I must not falter no matter how dire the situation. Chiaki wouldn't want that, and so I shall not waver." Cheetah said. "Come, everyone. It is time we took the fight back to the calamity."
