Hidan opened his eyes, the room no longer bathed in the light from the afternoon sun. He watched as the last remnants of the day were chased away by the night, the pinks and purples being devoured by the dark blue. He had his arm wrapped around Hinata as she lay asleep next to him, her dark blue hair sprawled behind her and around her, almost framing her pale face like a dark halo, 'my beautiful princess' he thought. He rubbed his hand over her arm, revelling in the feel of her soft skin. He looked down at her and smiled, remembering her words from earlier "I love you". Three simple words that held a great meaning, words that he has never heard said to him by any partner and words that he would never have uttered, yet here he was, those three words uttered freely, full on conviction for the lady they were spoken to.
He still found it hard to believe, that Hinata, a woman who only knows kindness and exudes it from her whole body would love him, someone who seems to attract trouble where he went, intentionally or otherwise. He moved his hand higher, catching a strand of hair in his fingers, rubbing the soft silk. He would never tire of the feeling of having her next to him, the feel of her skin, her hair.
When she began to stir, he rolled onto his side, facing her "good evening my princess" he said as her eyes fluttered open, she stretched like a cat and purred "Evening Hidan" she smiled at him and then bolted up right "did you say good evening? I should be home, dad and Hanabi will be worried", she went to jump off the bed, but Hidan stopped her, pulling her back to him, "Hidan, I need to go" she said, trying to pull out of his embrace, "stay with me princess" he whispered in her ear, making her shiver, "but dad" she said meekly, her excuse falling apart, "fine, if you must then" he said reluctantly, letting go of her. He watched as she got off the bed and walked towards the door naked, for the first time, she walked around his room without the bed sheet covering up her glorious body. He watched as her hips rolled as she walked, her toned backside moving, he wanted to grab her and pull her back, kiss her, lick her and love her.
He heard the toilet flush and water running, he sat up in bed, his eyes falling to the ground, he found her black lacey underwear, an idea formed in his mind, he grabbed them and hid them behind his pillow. "What this?" he pulled the underwear out from behind him, showing it to her. He watched as she marched over, her hand outstretched, her face scrunched up. He grabbed her hand and pulled her to him, "stay the night princess and I'll give them back, I promise" he said as she showered her with kisses around her neck and shoulder, when she tried to make an excuse, he added "I know that you want to stay the night". He bit her neck gently, making her whimper, he licked the spot gently, causing her to shiver in his arms. Just before she could say anything her phone started to ring. She pushed off him and ran towards the noise. He heard her answer quickly.
"Hello" she said and then paused for a while before carrying on.
"Yeah I'm with Hidan" he could only hear her side of the conversation; he wasn't sure who she was talking to.
"I wasn't planning on"
"If you're sure then I will"
"Okay then"
"Yeah, I'll see you later" she ended the call and walked back into the bedroom, her phone still in her hands. She looked at Hidan and smiled.
"That was Hanabi, she asked where I was and I told her, and she said that I could probably stay the night as her and Dad are going out to see cousin Neji and will probably stay the night at his house"
"You'll stay the night then?" he asked, hopeful.
"Yes I will, but I need to go home and get a change of clothes, I can't be seen leaving here in the morning with the same clothes I came in with" she said as she snatched the pair of underpants from the bed and pulled them on, he watched as they ascended up her long lean legs and how much he wanted that to be his hands moving upwards.
"Don't worry about what other people say or think, do what you want to for you and no one else" he said, watching her wear the rest of her clothes, slowly covering every inch of skin in fabric.
"I can't help it" she said guiltily, he loved her more for being honest with him, for showing him that she had a weakness. He got off the bed and strode towards her, pulling her into his arms.
"Princess it doesn't matter what others think, what should only ever matter is what you think and feel, fuck everybody else" he placed a soft kiss on her lips, "I'll come with you and once you've got your clothes, I'm taking you out for dinner, show the world my amazing, sexy and wonderful girlfriend off".
She looked up at him and smiled sweetly "I love you" she whispered, making his heart soar. He kissed her once more before letting go and making his way to the bathroom. He used the toilet, flushed it, washed his hands and face and walked back into the room, finding it empty. He grabbed a pair of boxers from his drawers, the jeans and top from the floor and quickly dressed, then went looking for his princess.
He found her standing in the hallway, she had gotten her shoes on and was grabbing her bag and placing her phone in it, "ready to go princess?" he asked as he grabbed his trainers and slipped them on. He grabbed his leather jacket, phone, wallet and keys and moved towards the door, opening it and letting Hinata walk out first, before following behind, closing and locking the door. They walked together hand in hand to her house.
When they reached her house, she unlocked the door, turned on the light and ushered him in, closing the door behind him. "I won't be long" she said as she made her way to the stairs and disappeared into her room. Hidan stood in the hallway and looked at the pictures on the walls. There was one of Hinata when she was young probably around the age of 4, hiding behind her father's legs, her head poking out from the side, her hair short. The picture next to it, was one of Hinata, Hanabi and a woman he assumed was their mother. He could see the distinctive features Hinata had inherited from her mother. The high cheekbones, the full lips and straight nose. He moved further, looking at the rest of the family photos, some looked like they were taken at a family gathering, he found Hinata in the group straight away, she stood out in the picture, her head hung slightly low, her hands in front of her entwined, she looked so shy, so sweet, he smiled at the picture, his finger touching her face. He saw another one, this one Hinata was stood next to a tall male, he had the same eyes, but nothing else was similar. Hinata stood tall with her shoulders back and head held high, the man next to her stood in a similar position, though he had one arm around her shoulder and slight smile on his face. He didn't know who the guy was.
"I'm ready" Hinata called, making Hidan look towards the stairs. He felt his breath leave his body, she truly was beautiful and each time he looked at her, he felt himself fall more and more in love with her. His beautiful princess. "Have you got everything you need princess?" he asked her as she made her way down to him, stopping in front of him, "yes, I've got everything" she replied. He leaned down and captured her lips in a gentle kiss, his arms wrapping around her middle, pulling her into him. When he pulled away, he noticed her cheeks had turned slightly pink "what was that for?" she whispered to him, he smiled at her softly, "just wanted to kiss my princess" he whispered back, kissing her forehead.
They started to make their way to the front door passing the pictures, he stopped her and pointed to the one of her and the man and asked "who's this?", Hinata looked at the picture and smiled "that's cousin Neji, he used to live with us, but he's moved to a different town and has started his own business" she told him, her voice filled with adoration for the man. Hidan nodded at the answer and they walked to the front door. Hinata locked it behind her and they strode into town looking for somewhere to eat, "did you want to put your stuff away first?" he asked her, noticing the bag on her shoulder, "no, it's okay" she said. He took the bag off her shoulder and carried it, when she tried to protest he kissed her. "You can't kiss me just to stop me from trying to stop you from doing things" she said when they pulled away, he smirked at her "princess I want to look after you, so let me do so" he said, making her blush again, "I love seeing you blush princess" he said as he stroked her cheek, making her blush more.
They walked around town, looking at the different food stalls and restaurants they could eat at, "what would my princess like to eat?" he asked Hinata, she turned to him and said "urmm I don't mind anything, what would you like?" he smiled at her "you princess, I'd like to eat you", "HIDAN" she scolded him, making him laugh. They looked around but couldn't decide on anything, in the end Hinata said "how about I make us something? We can always buy some ingredients and have dinner at home?". Hidan looked at her, "when you say home, do you mean your place?", she turned to him "I meant your place, the word home just slipped out" she was nibbling her bottom lip in a worrying way, he pulled her close and tugged at her lip, "I like you calling my place home and I'm glad you think of it like home".
Together they walked around the store picking out ingredients. In the end they had brought chicken, aubergines, mushrooms and noodles. When they got back to his place, he helped her prep for dinner, "princess what are we making?" he asked her, she looked at the ingredients and said "chicken and mushroom ramen with panko aubergine". They spent the next few minutes prepping for dinner, he watched as Hinata worked in his kitchen, finding all the things she needed, like she had been doing it forever. When dinner was ready they sat together and ate, Hidan slurped the noodles and moaned in delight at the tantalising tastes in his mouth "princess you need to live here so you can cook for me all the time, this is so good". Hinata smiled at him, "I'm glad you like it".
With dinner finished, Hidan cleaned the kitchen and made sure Hinata wasn't trying to help "you cooked dinner, now you sit down my princess and let me clean", he made quick work of the kitchen. Once he was done he sat next to her and pulled her in his lap, "what would you like to do now princess?" he asked her. She smiled at him and said "you". He raised an eyebrow at her, "am I allowed to shout at you for saying that to me?" he asked her, a smirk on his lips, before she could answer he stood up with her in his arms and walked towards the bedroom "though I'm not going to say no to fucking you all night long". He threw her on the bed and climbed on top, kissing her lips, jaw and neck, he grabbed her shirt and pulled it off, giving him more of her skin to kiss. He moved lower, pulling her jeans off too, leaving her in just her lacy underwear and matching bra, "you're a fucking sight to behold" he told her, his eyes roaming around her body. She found Hidan in the kitchen wearing only a pair of shorts, "lunch will be ready soon princess" he said when he saw her standing in the door way. Hinata walked into their bedroom and dried her hair with the towel, her hair falling in soft curls down her back and dressed in the dress she had brought with her. She looked around the room to find her clothes hanging on the cupboard door. All the small things he did made her smile more, and she surprised herself thinking of his bedroom as theirs. She had started to see his place as hers too, with all the time that she spent here with him.
She walked into the kitchen with a smile on her face, "what are you smiling about princess?" Hidan asked as she sat at the table and he placed a plate in front of her. "I'm just happy being here with you" she said as she picked up her sandwich and took a bite, chewing slowly before swallowing. "I like having you here, you make this place feel like home" he told her, making her smile more. With lunch over, they went for a walk around the woods. Hinata felt so happy with him, even though they had only been together for over a month, she felt like she belonged with him, by his side at all times. She had never felt this way about any other person she had been in a relationship with before. She looked over at him and could see her spending her life with him, growing old together, starting a family and always loving one another.
When he looked down at her he smiled at her, "what are you thinking about princess?" he asked her, she smiled up at him and said "that I love you so much and I love spending time with you" he pulled her against him and hugged her tightly, "I love you too princess". They spent most of the afternoon in the woods walking around and talking about the things they would like to do, "would you like a family Hidan?" she asked him, hoping that he would say yes. He stopped and looked over at the river they were stood by, "I've never imagined myself as a father, or someone who would want to have a family" she felt deflated by his answer, after a few seconds he added "but you make me want to have a family, to wonder what it would be like if we lived together and had several children with your beauty and kindness, running around us, and when I think about that I feel happy and I want it to happen". She felt her eyes fill with tears, he looked over at her and wiped her eyes dry, "princess I want to have everything with you, I want to spend every day with you and love you forever, I know we've only been together for a short amount of time, but nothing has ever felt this right and for the first time I feel like I've found the place where I belong".
Hinata pulled him to her and hugged him tightly, "I love you so much Hidan" she said against his chest. She felt his arms tighten around her, "and I you princess" he said and placed a soft kiss on top of her head.
Hidan walked Hinata back to her house, she opened the door and invited him in. When they walked into the living room, her father and sister were sitting on opposite armchairs playing chess. Hinata and Hidan moved towards the sofa and sat down, watching the game play out. After a while Hiashi called "check mate" making Hanabi groan "that's not fair dad, you need to let me win" she complained, "if I let you win my child, you will never learn to play the game properly" Hiashi told her, Hanabi stood up and walked out mumbling about how it wasn't fair that she didn't win.
"Hi dad, how are you? How was Neji?" Hinata asked her dad, he looked lovingly at his daughter, "I'm good my child. You know your cousin, always busy with work, he is doing well, he sends his regards to you", when Hiashi looked over at Hidan, he smiled "hello again Hidan" he looked back towards Hinata "can you please give us a few moments alone Hina?" he asked her, Hinata looked over at Hidan, he smiled at her and nodded, "o-okay I-I'll be in the kitchen" she said, slowly walking out of the room. Hinata wanted to stay in the room, to hear whatever her father wanted to talk about.
She stood in the kitchen pacing, thinking of all the things they could be talking about. She was lost in her thoughts that when Hanabi spoke from behind her, she almost screamed, "what's bothering you sis?" she asked.
"Dad asked to talk to Hidan alone, and I'm a little worried" she admitted.
"Ah don't worry about it, dad just wants to know what Hidan expects from the relationship, he doesn't want to see you getting hurt again" Hanabi said, she moved towards Hinata and hugged her.
"Did you stay with Hidan last night then?" Hanabi asked, Hinata blushed remembering all the things they did all night long, "with you blushing like that, I take that it was a good night" Hanabi added.
"You can't say things like that Hanabi" Hinata scolded
"Oh please, I'm 17 I know about sex and what happens when a man and a woman like each other" Hanabi replied, rolling her eyes at her big sister. Before Hinata could reply, her dad called her "Hina can you come in here please". She looked over at her sister who pushed her towards the door, "lets go find out what happened, see if dad has killed him yet", "don't joke like that" Hinata said, making Hanabi laugh.
They walked into the living room, Hidan was sat on the sofa with a smile and her dad seemed happy too, she sat next to Hidan and looked over at her dad "is everything okay dad?" she asked hesitantly, "everything is okay Hina, Hidan was just telling me… well, I suppose I'll let him tell you" her father said, she turned towards Hidan who grabbed her hand and got on one knee in front of her. Hinata felt her eyes widen and her heart start to pound, she looked over at her dad, he smiled wide and Hanabi was jumping with glee.
"Princess, I know it's only been over a month, but the one thing I am sure of is my love for you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, grow old with you, have a family. I've never been surer of anything in my life. Will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?"
Hinata looked at Hidan, tears running down her face, she nodded her answer. He smiled and pulled her against him, her sister shouting in happiness and her father said "I'm happy for you Hinata, he is a good man and he will look after you". Hinata hugged him back and whispered "I love you; I love you so much"
