Danny and Sam woke up early the following day, earlier than usual if they were to go to school back in Amity,

''Ready? we have to eat and be out the door in five,'' said Sam as the two got their stuff together and left to Forks high school,

''another cloudy day, you must be loving this,'' Danny said with a grin as he looked at his goth girlfriend, she smirked.

''of course,'' she said as she laughed, Danny smiled. ''This is why I love you,'' he said as they flew to Forks High school.

''What about the boy? how are we going to keep an eye on him if we leave Forks?''

Rosalie asked as the Cullens aside from Alice follow Carlisle into their new home, at least for now.

''I've been watching him,'' Alice whispers, ''If anything, I will tell you all,'' she said softly as she stepped into the new home, "Always sitting and waiting.''

The rain fell down upon Forks, ''Time for a jog.'' Sam Uley said as the pack took off their shirts.

''What about Jake and Danny?'' Embry asked as they did as told,

''We'll notify them on the way. Let's go!'' he said as the pack headed off.

Danny and Sam were eating breakfast when the sounds of wolf howls echoed through the motel room.

''Gotta go, I'll call you,'' he said as Sam nods before Danny phased as he heads into the woods, the rain coming down on his black and white fur.

Danny ran as the sounds of the woods echoed through his ears. When just as he reached Jacob's house.

He saw a familiar truck drive up just as Jake came into view, 'This isn't going to be good,' he thought as he watched from a distance.

As he walked around the property, in the rain, Bella stormed out of her truck, ''Jake!'' she yelled not caring about the rain that fell atop her.

''Hey!'' she yelled as she finally caught up to him as he turned to face her just as she crossed the small creek.

Danny was silent as he watched the scene from afar.

They stared at each other as silence echoed on one side of that bridge.

''You cut your hair off?!'' she yelled as she viewed her shirtless and clearly ripped friend as the rain continued to fall.

Her eyes widened, ''and got a tattoo?!'' she asked rhetorically.

Danny looked down at his right front paw it was white, unlike all the others.

The rain cascading down on all three of them. ''Bella,'' Jake began to say as she looked utterly flummoxed.

''I thought you couldn't come outside?'' she said in shock ''Or,'' she stutters, ''pick up the phone when I call,'' she concludes.

''Go away,'' Jake said as the rain continued to fall.

Danny studied the scene with a raised ear as he turned his head to the side,

''what?'' she asked as she looked at him questionably.

He stared at her emotion gone from his face, ''Go, away.'' he repeats, clearer this time.

''What happened to you?'' she began as he turned to leave.

''Hey, what happened to you?'' she began as he turned to leave.

''Hey!'' what happened?'' she asked as she reached for his arm with a look of sadness,

Jake had this look in his eye and by it, Danny could tell he was trying to imprint on her, but it wasn't working.

''Did Sam get to you?'' she stutters, ''is that what's happening?'' she asked as Jake glared into her eyes.

''Sam is trying to help me, Don't blame him,'' he said as Danny also raised an ear at her remark.

''But if you want someone to blame,'' he began as the rain fell, ''how about those filthy bloodsuckers you love, the Cullens?'' he spat in utter disgust.

'I can't believe what I am hearing,' Danny thought as he continued listening, as thunder rumbled. Bella shook her head at what she was hearing.

''I don't know what you're talking about,'' she said, Danny growled in frustration. 'is she really playing dumb?' he thought as he was still hidden.

Jake was really nice to him and by the look on Jake's face it didn't look good and Danny thought,

'I am happy my hearing is even stronger than the others, ghost powers and new wolf abilities, I can hear waay...more than the pack.'

and this was a private conversation since it wasn't in Jake's head, and Danny didn't like what Bella was doing,

'what?;' Danny thought. 'is he trying to?...' Jacob grew angry, ''No, you know exactly what I am talking about.'' he said as she shook her head.

''You've been lying to everyone, Charlie.'' he shook his head. ''but you can't lie to me. Not anymore, Bella.'' ''Jacob, Danny!''

Danny ran quickly to the pack, He turned towards her, he still being able to hear everything. (thank you ghost powers)

''Look Bella, we can't be friends anymore..'' he said in a serious tone as he could tell she was starting to cry,

''Give him a minute, Sam,'' Danny said softly as Uley nods walking off just as the pack looks at Jake from their hiding space in the woods.

''Jake,'' said Danny in his mind, forgetting the bond. ''He'' I'll be fine,'' said Jared, ''see,'' he said as Jake jogged up towards the pack.

Danny sighs as the tension seemed to die down. ''Let's move!'' said Sam Uley as they all headed deep into the woods, with Danny right behind Sam Uley. '

'So the redhead vampire was last seen up in the hills,'' Paul said as Danny kept up the speed.

''Good, maybe, we can head her off,'' said Quil as Danny sniffed the area.

'Something tells me otherwise.' Danny thought. After a short time, Jake returned with the pack, though by the look on his face Danny could see the pain in Jake's eyes.
