"I'm not locked in her with you, you are locked up in here with me!" Kalimni says as he rises row after row of corn. "There's water at the base of the corn! I can burn it but it will just come back up the next second." Todoroki says while attacking the corn rows. "Just how much blood does he have? Didn't he lost all of it once?" Bakugo shouts destroying the traps that keep appearing out of the corn. "Our wounds, he's using our blood to recharge himself. I've been tracking the blood we've lost with my eyes. It is all drawn into the corn fields then the corn absorbs it." Shoji says dodging some flying stones. "Can anybody see where he's now?" Aizawa asks as everyone lost track of Kalimni. They can speak with him and every now and then they see where he is but most of the time he just teleports around making keeping him under control impossible. "I have a plan but it's going to be hard to pull off! We need to take him out in one move and I know how!" Midoriya says while pulling Uraraka, Jiro and Present Mic with him. "Jiro, Present Mic, I need the two of you to go each on the other side of the arena. Use your sound powers together to push Al towards the centre of the room and keep him there. Uraraka, you must do the same move you've used to make him fly on me. Throw me high into the air then push me into the ground. If instead of countering his attack I Detroit Smash him into the ground with all my strength that should be enough to put an end to him. "And how do you plan to get him in the middle of the corn field? Can't he just teleport next to one of the two and avoid their sound waves completely?" "We'll have Cementos build a small opening in the walls for the two to sit inside so that Al cannot teleport around them. If he teleports away then there's nothing we can do but for the very least we stopped the giant pyramid and the ghosts inside the corn fields to manifest into this world." "That's a nice plan you've got there Midoriya, I'll spread the word so that everyone else leaves the area then we'll put it into action." Present Mic says as everyone disperses to put their plan into action. "Todoroki, Bakugo, keep Al busy for a while!" "You don't even have to ask for it!" Bakugo and Todoroki start being more aggressive while all the other students approach one of the walls. Once in place Cementos creates a bubble in front of them then an opening on the other side allowing all of them to exit. The last two were Bakugo and Todoroki before Deku's plan is put into work. Just as planned everything works and Deku manages to land a 100% Detroit Smash on Alphonse with such strength that his whole body is planted face first into the ground. "Is it done? Have we manage to put and end to it?" Deku asks but quickly enough Uraraka shouts: "Deku, you've broken your hand hitting him, your wounds are bleeding!" "Get out of there as fast as possible!" Present Mic shouts but there was not enough time as one drop of blood from Deku was enough to revitalise Kalimni for long enough to flee. Soon after Endeavor and more backup arrived to the location but everything was already taken care for. The fields of corn were burnt to the ground and all that remained was for the wounded to be taken to the hospital. Midnight and Nezu were badly injured while everyone else had more or less some combat wounds too but nothing grave enough to warrant hospitalization. Later on there was a meeting to discuss what would be done on the matter and the sole answer was: Alphonse, Maize or Kalimni or whatever he wanted to call himself was to be considered a fugitive and a villain. He attacked and wounded heroes, used his Quirk for personal gain and caused a lot of destruction while also putting a lot of lives at risk. The most angered out of All Might who didn't participated at the fight. It was funny to consider but, perhaps as Al's sanity was breaking away as Kalimni was taking over his mind, he in a last attempt at being a hero asked to All Might not to spend his precious time fighting him. He knew how All Might was wounded, he spied on every single member of class 1-A as well as all the teachers. This righteous indignation spread to class 1-A too. Some understood some didn't but the fight was Al's way of calling out for help not wanting to go down the path of a Vigilante. It was very weird though. If Al did everything in his powers to hide the use of his Quirk, as much as what he was doing can be called hiding, why did the police force came for him? Deku, Todoroki and Ida fought Stain and didn't got arrested, why Alphonse and why in such an aggressive way. It was as if someone was trying to make Al into a villain or at the very least a vigilante. What was known however was that the school had to make some really major changes very fast. Since Al became a rogue agent and he could not only teleport but knew pretty much everything about his classmates they could be in real danger. If Al would go full villain and bring them to their houses one by one there would be nothing the students could do alone. Even if he alone would try to attack them there was nothing they could have done. Thus the students had to move in as U.A. became a boarding school instead of the regular one. That was the only was to protect class 1-A from the dangers that lurked around the city. For the first few days after the change it all felt... hollow. The students were all together and it felt like a reality show or an adventure but it felt all wrong. Somehow they all felt like Al was wronged in all of this, like the police acted too fast and too brashly while Al was taken over by this new persona of Kalimni. In their hearts they all hoped for something to change and for Al to suddenly came out the door with his smug face telling everyone how he played all of them. What changed however, and it indeed involved Al, was the city itself. Over the next few days the police found dozens of petty villains brutalized in the streets. If a villain had wings then they found him with his wings cut off, if he had horns then Al would cut off his horns. He neutralized them for good, in his eyes there was no redemption and that's what made him heroic. The fact that he sacrificed his personality, his normal life to become this violent saviour, the man that dared to take up his blade and strike the evil while sacrificing his public image, was what made Kalimni so confident in himself. His actions however didn't went unnoticed as people starting giving him more and more attention. At first villains wanted to band together as his ruthless oppressive presence throughout the city was making their lives a living hell but then something different approached him. Before Kalimni came a man with eyes painted over his eyelids and numerous cuts over his hands and fingers. He was walking around without opening his eyes wearing baggy clothes but a very uptight appearance otherwise. The man was slender, had little to no muscles but gave off an air of dread. "Are you another villain trying to stop me?" "You said you seek heroes. I've dream of you. My name is Apnea and my Quirk, sleep paralysis allowed me to see the path I must take. You're actions are righteous and I too wish to become a seeker, I too dream of a world where heroes are courageous and bring the battle to the enemy rather than standing by waiting for it to happen.". Apnea's Quirk was quite unique, if not outstanding. He could trap people inside a dream like state where they would dream about their futures through the eyes of their future selves. Apnea can look freely as if looking through a screen while his victims have their vision blocked through their own eyes and cannot hear anything from the future. While Apnea himself cannot see what his targets dream off his powers cannot be denied since all he requires to do is be close to a person in order to put them to sleep. He can put to sleep only one person at a time however he can activate his powers on as many people as he wants if they are already asleep. All he had to do was to infiltrate U.A. during the night and torment the students with dreams from their future, to sow discord, hope or fear. Kalimni covers him with blood and teleports themselves inside the U.A. dormitory allowing Apnea to do his work. "Ah, it's so... sparkly. So shiny... I can't look at it directly." Aoyama says while having a nightmare about his future. It was too bright for him but also... calming. The next morning he woke up perfectly fine without his state of mind changing much. Thanks to Apnea's power to keep all of them asleep once they fall under his control Kalimni enters everyone's room to listen if by any chance they speak in their sleep giving important informations about their future. Food, random celebrations, people talking and repeating what they saw, some amazed at their lives, some angry at the state of affairs or amazed by what they saw. The one who truly was angry at the world was Bakugo. In his dreams he was content, his future self managed to mellow out the flames inside his heart but his present self wasn't as ready to give all of that up. Future Bakugo was a hero like all others, doing their part in the shadow of the number one hero, the owner of One for All, Deku. In the morning Bakugo was fuming with anger having dreamt about Midoriya surpassing him while his future self accepted it and moved on. Is that all he saw? The very first thing he said when the dream started were 'damn you Deku!' and never stopped. In his dream, unknown to Kalimni Bakugo first saw the news 'Number one hero... Deku saves hundred again? What is this bull-crap? It should be number one hero Bakugo! Damn you Deku. Damn you!' and for the rest of the night Bakugo continued insulting Deku without stopping. In the morning everyone wakes up unaware of what happened. Some were really tired while others were really lively. "Damn you Deku! How dare you enter my dreams and torment me like that!" "Did you had a weird dream too last night?" Tsuyu ask while having breakfast. "Yeah, a damned horrible dream to be precise!" Bakugo shouts. "Can you shout more quietly please." Mineta says all tired. "I had this horrible dream that I was sent to prison for sneaking inside the lady's bathroom... for the fifth time." "I had a really good one!" Uraraka says posing like she saw in her dream. "I was a popular hero that made lots of money and lived in a two story house and I just started my own hero agency too!" "I dream I was singing at a concert while everyone from the school was watching me" Jiro says all embarrassed. "Everyone had a weird dream last night huh? It might be because we changed our bedrooms and it stimulated our imagination." Midoriya says trying to make conversation without actually talking about what he dreamt. "Damn you Deku!" "Did you had a dream too Midoriya?" Ochaco asks. "What was it about? I bet it was something to do with All Might" "Well, yeah... how did you guessed. It was me and All Might and we were both saving the world together and such." Deku says trying to make his way out of the hole of lies he found himself into. "So, what kind of hero were you Ochaco?" He deflects switching the subject of the discussion back to the others. Later that night he went very early to sleep as what he dreamt about was frightening at first but then he didn't wanted to give up on it. To fully understand his embarrassment early that day and his desire to dream again one must follow what he dreamt from the very beginning: "Huh, is it already morning?" Deku says opening his eyes looking at the ceiling. "Wait, I don't recognize this place, where am I, why is my body moving on his own?" Deku gets out of bed. "My arms are longer, my legs are longer too... did I grew up? His dream self brushes his eyes while sleeping Deku was taking notice of everything that came inside his field of view. "A ring? Was that a ring on my finger? What is going on he..he..he..her...here? There's a hand... there's someone's arm around my waist!" Sleep Deku becomes all red and blushes thinking he slept next to someone. "Don't look, you mustn't look! I can't have my mind tainted with such... Oh thank God I'm getting out of bed." His dream self got up, slowly got out of the room without making a noise and headed downstairs into the kitchen. "I should take notes on how I prepare breakfast. Every skill I can learn could prove useful one day." Sleep Deku turns on the T.V. but sleeping Deku can't hear a thing. At one quick glance he notices in the news 'number 1 hero Deku saves city from villain'. "Number one hero!" Deku says thinking about the news title. "Is dream me laughing? Have I started copping All Might to the point I start laughing like him?" Indeed, dream Midoriya stopped for a second from preparing breakfast and put his hands on his hips only for a quick laugh then resumed cooking. "So that's how you prepare them... I should keep that in mind for when am... eek! Something touched my back... hand... han... hand! There's a hand reaching from behind... han..." Sleeping Deku starts choking as his hearts start beating like the engine of a train. Another hand reached from the side. "Rin... ring han... hand!" As soon as his dream self was about to turn around and finally see who's hands those were Deku's heart started beating so fast he started bleeding from his nose and the lack of oxygen woke him up in the middle of the night. Now he was hoping to get back and follow from where he left.
