"Alright, what's the plan?" Jesse questioned, crossing his arms. Beca looked at him. "We don't have any weapons, what do you suggest we do?" She questioned. "You have that." Jesse shrugged. "And made that." He pointed to the stick. Beca looked at the stick. "That's not a weapon." She stated.

Jesse rolled his eyes. "Whatever, we still have one." He pointed to the fire iron. Beca grabbed the fire iron. "Fine, one weapon. We're not taking the kids in there, we're not taking Aubrey and Benji. We get caught again and they're dead. So it's just us two against pretty much an army." She laughed with raised brows.

Jesse stared at her before looking to the other's who were all currently sleeping. "What is it? Why don't you want to get her?" He questioned. Beca stared at him before looking to her hands. "Nothing you'd understand, you hate her." She mumbled. "Is it about the fact that she's supposed to be dead?" He tried.

Beca's jaw clenched, looking away from him. "Like I said, they were killing Aubrey and Benji." She said quietly. Jesse sighed. "So that's what it is." "Shut up Swanson."

"I just don't understand, she's alive, wouldn't you want to get her back? Her being alive wouldn't you want to just hold her?" Jesse questioned.

"What I don't understand is you suddenly care about her." Beca stated with a tight-lipped smile. Jesse let out another sigh. "I already told you that I owe her. Along with that, these kids? I know damn well they'll go in there if I don't." He pointed to the kids.

Beca looked at her spear. "This isn't a weapon." "That and the fire iron is all we have Beca. Please. I know I was a dick about the whole thing with Chloe's death, but don't ditch her like this. I know for a fact that even though you got her kids out, she will never forgive you." Jesse tried.

Beca weakly brought a hand to her face. "Okay. Come on." She stood up. Jesse shook his head, grabbing the fire iron and following the tiny brunette.

"They switch every seven minutes." Beca said with furrowed brows as the two sat in a ditch, watching the guard patrol. "Do you have a watch on you or something?" Jesse questioned. Beca stayed silent earning an eye roll from the Treble. "You've changed in the span of days." He mumbled. Beca looked at him before looking back to the guards who stood around the building.

"In between their switch we'll have to get to the top window. Going through the door there will most likely be another guard. When we were coming out there were two of them." Beca pointed to the window that was about five feet above the door.

"How do we get up there?" Jesse breathed. Beca thought for a moment. "You're not going to like it." The boy's jaw clenched at this. Despite how simple the idea might've seemed, it was also probably deadly.

"Let's be real, you're not going to fit through that and I'm not even strong enough to give you a boost." Beca shrugged. "That is suicide." Jesse said through gritted teeth.

Beca looked at the window before weakly smiling. "Beca 'Badass' Mitchell." Jesse stared at her. He didn't know what to say. He really didn't. This was Beca's mess after all. Except, there's no getting Chloe if Beca just ends up getting killed. Not only that, but rather Chloe is pissed at the tiny brunette or not, he knows losing Beca would just break the redhead.

"This… is a really bad idea." He said quietly. "I agree, but it's all we have." Beca shrugged. "I need to think." He decided, standing up and walking off.

Beca tightened her grip around her 'stick', watching as the guards walked off from the door.

"This cycle… is getting old." Chloe breathed. "Hm, well word is that you're half-infected." Nick said with furrowed brows. Chloe looked at him as he used a disinfectant wipe on the cut at the side of her jaw. "Something like that." He looked at her before looking back to his sister who looked back.

"Izy and I talked, we want to help get you out of here." He said softly. "You could get killed." Chloe said with furrowed brows. "Your kids need you." Izy mumbled. Chloe looked at the siblings. "You have to come with me then." "Like I said we're-." "I don't care, you two are basically hostages and deserve better than this." Chloe weakly laughed.

"We're not leaving." Izy deadpanned. Chloe looked at the girl with furrowed brows. She knew something was off with the sister but she couldn't figure out if she was just scared of losing her brother or if there was more to what was going on. Either way, she really didn't want to leave these two.

"If you stay here, you will die." "We won't." Izy shrugged. "She threatened you just because you accidentally gave her the wrong medicine!" Chloe exclaimed. "Watch your voice." Nick warned. The redhead was being loud but she was really just getting pissed off to the point that she didn't care. These two, more specifically Izy, were to oblivious to see that if they pissed off Kacey, that they would end up dead or even worse, undead.

Chloe shook her head with defeat. "Why am I even trying with you? All you do is stay quiet and keep your head down. You'd never go against the rules." She mumbled. "What's that supposed to mean?" Izy asked, obviously feeling offended. Chloe just kept to herself, staring up at the ceiling.

"Izy, can you get her some water?" Nick asked quietly. "No." His sister respond quietly. He stared at her for a moment before walking across the room. "I'm fine, thank you Nick." Chloe mumbled, shutting her eyes, letting herself drift to sleep.

Beca cleared her throat, walking up to the door, carefully opening it and looking at the guards inside knowing they didn't have a rotation like the ones outside did. The two inside looked at her with confusion. Awkwardly, she smiled. "Hi." "Who are you?" The taller man, which stood on her right side, asked. "She's the one who was supposed to be long gone by now, the one who took the kids." The other man pointed.

Beca looked between the two as they turned to face her better. "So did you guys want kids?" She asked. "Huh?" The guy on her left looked at her taken aback just before Beca turned and kicked him right in the groin before swinging her stick up and hitting the guy on her right in the same spot.

Both fell to their knees in pain, the taller guy leaning forward. "What the hell?" He strained before he was smacked in the face with the stick. Beca saw he was in a daze and looked to the other guy. He looked at her before clearing his throat. "I-I won't say anything." He said shakily. Beca eyed him for a moment before walking down the corridor.

Chloe sighed looking at Kacey who smiled satisfyingly. "Wonderful." The woman breathed out. "You'll regret doing this to me." Chloe said with anger as blood spilled from her nose and ran over her lips. "I just don't get it." Kacey said with furrowed brows. Chloe's jaw clenched. "You haven't died, most people would have given in at this point." Kacey paused. "Or died."

Chloe let out a small laugh. "Just because I'm not infected doesn't mean I'm not capable of dying." Kacey's jaw clenched at the statement. At first the redhead was quiet, but now? Not so much. The thing was, she wasn't saying much about how she was alive, she was just being a snarky bitch. Kacey would probably be impressed if she wasn't so pissed off.

Beca looked up to the meat locker, finding no one in it except for food, very little, and what looked like one body bag on the floor. Tightening her grip around her weapon, she took a breath. She looked down the hallway, finding it was empty. Slowly, she walked down it with suspicion building up.

"Why am I not surprised?" Beca heard directly behind her and stopped. "Drop that pathetic stick you hold as a weapon and I'll take you to see her." Kacey offered. Beca looked at the floor for a brief moment before turning. "Just give me Chloe and we won't have a problem." Kacey hummed. "No." She smiled. Beca smiled and nodded. "If that's the way it's going to be played, then I'm sorry." She shrugged before taking a step and throwing the heavy stick right at Kacey. Somehow aiming it just right, it struck Kacey's in the eye. Lemme tell you, considering how sharp that thing is, it didn't feel good.

"Motherfucker!" Kacey exclaimed, bringing her hands to her eye. Beca ran up, throwing a hard punch to the woman's face and kicking her in the chest before grabbing the sticking just to turn and continue her way down the hall.

Chloe sighed, staring up at the ceiling. She was exhausted. In pain? Yes, but she's experienced pain. So she could bear with it, but the exhaustion, man was she tired. This cycle Kacey had going was beyond ridiculous. Sure she was getting treatment after being, well, tortured, but is that really even healthy since she goes right back to being tormented?

Suddenly the door opened, making Chloe look over. "Hey Beale." Beca awkwardly smiled. Chloe stared at her for a small moment before looking to the ceiling. "I'm not leaving." "What?" Beca questioned with disbelief.

Chloe cleared her throat. "Not without them." "Who the fuck is them?" Beca asked with frustration clear in her voice. As if it were rehearsed, the door opened and Izy and Nick both walked into the room. Beca looked at the two before turning and looking to the redhead. She leaned down close to Chloe's ear, her eyes shut and her brows furrowed. "Please tell me I'm not putting my life on the line for these two weirdos." She mumbled. "You're already putting your life on the line for one." Chloe smirked.

Beca slowly stood up straight, looking right at the wall in front of her. "Yeah, this… this is what I get." She sighed.

"We're not leaving." Izy crossed her arms. Beca rolled her eyes as she carefully helped Chloe off the table. "Izy." Nick tried. "No! The moment she even sees us down the wrong hallway, our brains are splat." The young girl pointed.

Chloe grabbed Beca's arm. "Cadence and Everest." "They're with Jesse, Aubrey, and Benji." Beca said softly. Chloe stared at her for a moment before looking to the siblings.

Chloe cleared her throat and walked over to the two as best as she could. "Listen, what happens when Kacey comes in here and sees I'm not in your… lab?" She asked with furrowed brows. No one in the room missed the way Izy faltered. Chloe knew Nick wanted to go, it was just that he didn't want to leave his sister behind.

"We're dead either way Iz." Nick said quietly. Izy crossed her arms. "How do we do this?"

Beca stepped up. "Depends." She looked to Chloe. "Can you walk?" Chloe's brows raised. "I'm standing aren't I?" Beca hummed. "Well, the only good part is, we don't have to carry her out. Worst part is? The only thing we have is a stick." She sighed, holding up her stick.

"I thought that was a spear." Nick mumbled. Beca opened her mouth, about to say it wasn't a weapon, but gave up on the idea and nodded. "Yeah."

"So how should this go then?" Izy pushed. Beca looked at the three before awkwardly smiling. "I don't know." "For God's sakes Mitchell." She heard but ignored.

Chloe looked around the corner blinking her eyes a few times before narrowing them. "All good. There's a lock on that door in the back too" She said before turning and looking at the three behind her. "Perfect. Alright, you three go work on that lock and I'll stand guard." Beca instructed.

Chloe looked at the tiny brunette with slight annoyance but walked into the room that she could only guess was a security room of a sort. Looking around, she saw a small control board with a few screens set up above it. Her brows slightly furrowed as she walked over. She noticed Nick walking beside her out the corner of her eye.

"They uh, they have cams set in each of the rooms. More specifically the work stations and holding rooms, torture rooms as well to make sure everyone's doing what they should be and no one is trying to escape." Nick explained quietly. Chloe stayed silent as she brought her hand to a button before pressing on it just for the TVs to turn off.

"You two wanted to leave, now you're not going to help me?" Izy questioned. Nick cleared his throat, turning and walking to his sister. Although Chloe walked towards a filing cabinet in the corner of the room.

Opening the middle drawer, Chloe saw a few files labeled with names. Slightly tilting her head, she got down on one knee and opened the bottom drawer finding it was locked.

"Chloe, this isn't the time to be looking around." Beca said quietly. Chloe looked at her, finding Beca looking at her before looking back out the door they had come from. Except, deciding to ignore the tiny brunette, she stood up and walked back to the control panel just to start looking at it more thoroughly.

Meanwhile, the sound of loud clattering and frustrated sounds of loud whispering caused Beca to turn and yell at Izy and Nick. "Maybe not draw attention!" She exclaimed before looking back out the door, finding a woman that was slightly taller than her who was holding a rifle tightly in her hands. Stepping back, she grabbed the door and shut it. "Also, hurry up." She added, leaning up against the door.

Chloe moved across the panel, moving her hands along the underside of it, feeling for something, anything. "Chloe! Seriously!" Beca exclaimed. Once again she ignored her only to stop when she felt a small bump in the back underside corner of the desk. Moving under the desk, she saw a small silver key tapped to the desk. "Not clever at all." She mumbled before pulling the key off it before moving out from under it.

"We got it!" She heard Izy call out. "Great let's go!" Beca exclaimed. "Not yet." Chloe breathed, slightly stumbling as she stood up and quickly made her way back to the filing cabinet.

"Chloe you're getting on my last nerve." Beca seethed. Chloe just dropped to her knees, and brought the key to the drawer.

Beca grunted, nearly falling forward when the door was jerked open. Nick noticed this and ran over, helping to put more pressure against it.

Beca watched as Chloe finally opened the drawer just to find a file with her name on it. She didn't hesitate to grab it out only to stop and slowly reach in just to also grab a gun with her other hand.

"Go." Chloe breathed. "What?" Nick questioned. "The first person through that door gets a bullet to the head." Chloe said as she checked the chamber. After finding a bullet, she loaded it.

Beca and Nick saw this and as soon as Chloe stood up, they pushed off the door and ran past her. Chloe turned, shooting the gun hitting the woman just under her lips. As soon as doing so, she turned and ran straight for the door.

The moment she made it to the door, Beca turned and grabbed her while reaching and shutting the door behind her. "You're slower than me, give me the gun and go so I can keep them at bay." Beca said, gently pushing Chloe forward as she took the gun.

As much as Chloe was upset, maybe even pissed at the tiny brunette, it didn't mean she wanted to put Beca's life at risk. Except she knew she couldn't waste time and stick around so she pushed forward.

Izy stepped back, grabbing Chloe's arm and wrapping it around her neck before helping her move forward more quickly.

"Around the corner is the back door! Right outside should be a truck!" Nick called out as Beca pulled the trigger to the gun at least twice before they all turned left down the hallway.

"Fuck." Nick breathed. Beca pushed past Nick and looked at the door just to find a lock on it just as there was a lock on the back security door. Bringing the gun up, she shot the gun once more, breaking the lock. "Go. Come on, let's go!" She yelled, opening the door. While the three ran out. Beca turned and held her gun up. The three men stopped while Kacey stepped up between them, her eye not looking so appealing.

"Three against one Beca." Kacey said with anger. Beca smirked. "Yet you still lost your most prized possession. Didn't you?" Kacey pulled a gun from one of her men. "I will get her back, and I will kill her in front of you, but not without killing those kids in front of her. After killing those kids, she'll blame you so she'll die hating you more than ever." She seethed. "In order for that to happen, you need to live… for now." She motioned.

Beca's jaw clenched as her grip tightened around the gun she was carrying. Although, she didn't shoot, but instead, she slowly backed out of the building, still keeping the three in front of her at gunpoint.

Chloe's jaw clenched as she brought her hand to her side when pain struck it as Nick parked the truck. Once everyone had gotten into the truck, Nick had drove it into the trees and around where Beca had instructed. "What now?" He asked quietly.

"We can't stay here, I'm going to get the others. Stay in here." Beca said with furrowed brows.

Chloe let out a breath, moving uncomfortably just to feel Izy shift next to her. While Beca got out, Izy leaned over and gently lifted Chloe's shirt up just to find some stitches had been torn open. Not only that, but the amount of blood was quite worrying to see.

"Shit." "What?" Nick questioned, turning in his seat. As soon as he saw what she saw, his heart dropped. Before either could say anything, the passenger seat opened and Beca got back in. "Everyone's settled in the trunk… or bed. Whatever its called." Beca waved before turning to look over at what Nick was looking at.

"Nick drive." Beca breathed. Nick nodded, quickly doing as said.
