Chapter 12

-Bad Wolf Bay-

The Doctor set the coordinates and while Jenny stood next to him. The TARDIS landed and they walked out to a beach.

"Ah, fat lot of good this is! Back of beyond. Bloody Norway! I'm gonna have to phone your father, he's on the nursery run." Rose's mom, Jackie said.

Jenny felt this was personal conversation, due to hearing about how Rose and her mom were from a different universe. Or ended up here, her dad gave the abridged version, and she figured it out on her own.

She also knew there was some type of romantic feelings between her dad and Rose. She could tell by the little looks they gave each other, and she just had a feeling. So she just stayed at the TARDIS doors.

She then realized that the Meta-Crisis Doctor was staying here, due to how he and Rose started to kiss. The Doctor, and Donna started to walk back to the TARDIS, but Rose then called out.

"Hey Jenny, take care, and look after your dad, he can get into trouble."

The Doctor sighed exasperation, he had heard Martha say the same thing, he couldn't help, he liked excitement.

"You too, take care. Also, I'm his daughter, I'm bound to get into trouble as well." Jenny said with shrug, and waved goodbye, as she walked into the TARDIS.

Donna snorted and said," Two of you now, oh this would be fun." She then walked into the TARDIS.

Eleven was about to give out a retort, but he knew she was right, and decided not to answer.

He gave one last look at Rose and the Meta-Crisis. A part of him still felt feelings for Rose, but he knew he wouldn't able to care for her properly. He knew that his other self will, and that he was more than satisfied with the result.

Even though that was a complete lie, but a lie he would hold onto.

-TARDIS-

He walked in, closed the doors, and walked to the console, he had already instructed Jenny on how to get them back to their universe. He was concerned when he saw Donna look a little sick, and Jenny was next to her.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I feel odd, as if I'm feeling drained."

The Doctor knew what was happening, and he glad that it wasn't the alternative.

"Donna, if you can think, why couldn't there be a human/Time Lord Meta-Crisis before."

Donna did, and the realization was on her face.

"Because there can't be." She muttered, as she started to look scared.

The Doctor placed his hands in calming manner and said," Donna, don't freak out. What you're going through is a literal brain drain."

"And that means?" Jenny asked.

"It is what it sounds like, the Time Lord side of Donna is disappearing, going away. Now, back when I tried to unload all of my Regeneration Energy onto my hand, I didn't unload it all, and I ended as the dashing person you both see here." There was a snort from Donna, which was ignored. "Now, you only had a small dose of the energy, which allowed you to temporarily gain the intelligence of a Time Lord. If you had gotten the full dose… then your head would've exploded. Pop!"

He emphasized it by clapping his hands together, which made Donna pale, and The Doctor winced. "Sorry, but yeah, your going to fine."

Although she was thrilled that particular scenario wasn't going to happen, but she felt sad she wasn't going to be genius level smart anymore.

The Doctor placed a hand on her shoulder, and said," Hey, there's nothing wrong being normal Donna Noble. You're still brilliant, fantastic, and other things that makes you, you. You humans are always surprising me every day, and you do so too."

Donna seemed to brighten up, and said," Thank you Doctor, I needed that. Although having Time Lord intelligence was fun while a it lasted. So what now?"

"Well, now that the universe is safe again. You're going to be okay, and now we have Jenny with us, I say we should go somewhere to unwind. And also someone where I can spend some family time with Jenny. What do you both say?"

Jenny grinned, ran over to him, hugged him, and said," I'm in. I've waited this long to be with you, and travel. So I'm staying."

Donna chuckled at the girls enthusiasm, and said, "Same, spaceman. But, we should probably check on my mom and granddad first. I don't want to worry them further."

The Doctor grinned, and went to the console, and said," Alright, a quick stop to see your family, and then onto someplace fun!"

As The Doctor pulled the lever, Jenny stood between him, and Donna. She had finally found her dad, and someone who believed in her from the start, and became her friend. She knew now that her life now was going to take a very different turn now.

But she wouldn't have it any other way.

Someone who was lost, had now been found.
