"So did you read them?" David asks mark who places the letters Mikoto delivered to them.

"It's good, there's hardly any room for anyone to use this against us, against you" Mark paused for a moment, he wanted to warn David what was going on.

He understood what was going on, after all, he had seen it more than once back on Earth, even if those memories were becoming nothing more than a distant dream, that was better left forgotten.

David despite his current age was now seen as a political pond and one that could be moved by those he considered his friends and in time those that were his enemies.

"So do you have any idea on how we can weasel our way out being forced to be ninjas or whatever we are considered by everyone?" David asks Mark

"You know I have thought about it, but the only way we could escape is if there's a fight or something and we run away." Mark jokingly answers David.

"Greate, I'll say that I'm going to go see someplace important and hire my guards to beat the crap out of each other and say I was killed and my body was unrecoverable" David answers Mark, but his voice was completely devoid of any humor.

"You can say that Ana and you are going to search for my corps and you can use that chance to find me, we just need to figure out where to meet," David says to Mark

Mark looks at his old friend he couldn't believe what he was hearing, David had been giving this a lot of thought, he knew his friend, his brother had no loyalty towards the hidden leaf, but to come up with such a plan.

"What about our family?" Mark asks him

"They can have this place, I mean no one is going to argue if I make our dads the leaders while I'm gone" David immediately answers Mark

"...Okay, but before we do that, first let's figure out where Heku and the girls are so we can tell them we aren't dead" Mark answers David, who just smiles and closes his eyes
