Once the wedding ceremony had finished the group made its way to the Crystal Palace where the guests began to mingle with one another. Whilst this happened they snacked on finger foods and chatted.

Soon however it was time for the MC; Auggie to introduce the wedding party.

'' Hello everyone. I'm Auggie and-

'' Get to the introduction!" someone heckled.

'' – And I'm your MC. Now to introduce the wedding party!''

The audience burst into thunderous applause.

'' Please welcome Isadora Smackle and her boyfriend and escort, Isaiah Babineaux!''

Smackle waved politely whilst Zay yelled the word yeah at the top of his lungs.

'' The maid of honor Maya Friar and her husband and escort, Lucas friar!''

'' And finally, my sister and now brother in law; Riley and Farkle Minkus!''

Now the audience got up from the tables they were sitting at and applauded as loud as the possibly could. Farkle went through the tunnel grinning like a madman whilst Riley just blushed a little.

The reception had been the 2nd most important part of the day for Farkle. The actual ceremony of course was the most important, however he was looking forward to eating the amazing food that Marius's chef had prepared.

The tables for the reception were set up to resemble a circle. When Farkle and Riley were deciding this, they went for something simple and not to extravagant.

At the top of the circle were Riley and Farkle to their left were their parents and to their right was their friends.

Right now Zay was busy devouring the salmon. '' Oh God this is amazing'' Zay said euphorically.

'' Seriously Zay. This isn't an eating contest. Try to be civilized'' Maya scolded.

'' Damn Maya. Normally you're the one joining me. Lucas man, what did you do to her?'' Zay commented.

'' Nothing. She just evolved'' Lucas said as he planted a kiss on Maya's forehead.

An audible cry was heard from Maya's lap.

'' I must say Maya, your child is interesting'' Smackle said.

'' Tread carefully Izzy'' Maya threatened.

'' What I meant was, is that she looks like the perfect fusion of yourself and Lucas.''

'' Oh, thanks'' Lucas said.

'' She appears to have Lucas's eyes and hair. However, the face is completely yours.''

'' Babe stop hassling them'' Zay said.

'' She isn't hassling us at all Zay. She's making us feel great'' Lucas answered.

'' However, I need to go change her'' Maya said as she stood up and left.

'' Man, Farkle and Riley, who'd have thought?'' Zay asked.

'' Most people beloved'' Smackle said as she patted his back.

'' How do you figure?'' Zay asked.

'' They've always had a connection. One that defies science. It's an emotional connection that can only exist with two people who are made for each other. Other such examples include us and Lucaya over there.''

'' Excuse me?'' Lucas asked, putting his fork down.

'' It's the name we gave you guys after you become a couple in high school'' Zay explained.

'' Huh, I like it'' Lucas said.

''Like what?'' Maya asked as she returned with Lauren.

'' The little name they gave us back when we were first dating in high school'' Lucas answered.

'' Oh yeah, what is it ranger Rick?''

'' Lucaya.''

'' Huh, not bad'' Maya shrugged as she signaled for a waiter.

'' So, when does the dancing start. I gotta show off my sweet moves for all the ladies'' Zay said. This earnt him a hit from Smackle.

'' Will you ever learn?'' Lucas sighed. '' First there are mother/son and father/daughter dances. Then there's the bride and groom's first dance and then we take to the dance floor.''

'' Man, I can't wait to see Farkle dance. I heard he was pretty smooth with Maya'' Zay grinned at the blonde.

'' He wasn't awful'' Maya said as she gave Lauren a bottle and subsequently opened one of her own.

'' Maya aren't you breastfeeding?'' Smackle asked.

'' Not anymore. I was btu since Lauren's almost a year old soon. I figure it was time for formula'' Maya explained.

Soon the dances commenced. However Farkle was a bit shaky at first when he met Jennifer on the dance floor.

'' A bit nervous sweetie?'' Jennifer asked her son.

'' How'd you guess?''

'' This is how you always get before something important happens. Follow my lead'' Jennifer led her son to the dance floor where the song What a wonderful world began to play.

Jennifer stepped forward with Farkle stepping back, Farkle soon began to get the hang of the dance and was leading his mother soon. He wanted to show her just how much he loved her.

Once the song hit its chorus Farkle noticed a tear forming in his mother's eye.

'' Mom what's wrong?''

'' You're all grown up. You found your happily ever after. That's all.''

Farkle held the woman close and continued to dance with her. '' I'll always need you'' he said.

As the song concluded Farkle returned to his and Riley's table with a triumphant look on his face.

'' You seem happy'' Riley commented.

'' I think I have the hang of slow dancing.''

'' You always knew how to slow dance.''

'' Yeah but not in front of this many people. Believe me its daunting.''

'' Alright everybody before we get to the dance we've all been waiting for. We have to do the father daughter dance. Mr. DJ play that song'' Auggie said through his mic.

Riley and Cory found their way onto the dance floor and began to dance to the sounds of Celine Dion's My heart will go on.

'' Wow, only 21 and you're already married. Time goes fast'' Cory said to Riley as they danced.

'' Are you sad or being cocky. It's hard to tell at your age.''

'' I'm 42, and don't make me ground you'' Cory teased. Even though he was joking Riley could sense the sadness in his tone.

Riley gave the man a hug as the dance began to conclude.

'' Dad I'm always going to need you. Farkle and I already live in Greenwich village. So you'll see us constantly.''

Cory sniffed before embracing his daughter in a bone crushing hug.

The wedding party applauded before Auggie signaled for them to be quiet.

'' Now for the only dance I care about. My sister's'' Auggie pointed to the head table where Riley and Farkle looked at each other.

'' Its our time'' Riley sighed.

'' Guess so'' Farkle smiled.

The pair walked onto the dance floor and the sounds of '' you are the reason'' filled the hall.

The pair began to sway before Farkle began to lead Riley.

'' I can't believe this moment's actually happening'' Farkle sighed as he looked at Riley.

'' Elaborate Mr. Riley.''

'' Certainly Mrs Farkle. I always envisioned our first dance as husband and wife but I never thought it would actually happen.''

'' You gave up hope?''

'' Briefly, but my love for you never stopped. And Like I said in my vows, it never will.''

'' I love you Farkle'' Riley said.

'' And I you'' Farkle responded as he pulled her into a loving embrace.

As the song began to end Farkle dipped Riley and pulled her into a chaste kiss.

After Auggie had announced it was time for toasts, Riley and Farkle got a bit nervous. They had agreed that Maya and Farkle would do separate toasts but they were sure that the pair would mock the newly weds constantly.

Lucas and Maya walked up and grabbed two microphones. Maya had chosen to leave Lauren with Smackle and Zay, Smackle of course was completely enthralled with the child.

'' Hi everyone, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Maya Friar and I'm Riley's matron of honor. I've known Riley ever since I climbed into her window back when we were kids. We've been nearly inseparable since then. I was Riley's best friend, I loved her and I still do. I was her protector. So naturally I was a bit picky when it came to Riley's boyfriends. There was this whole love triangle with Ranger Rick over there'' Maya cocked her head in Lucas's direction and then continued to speak. '' Then at Riley's birthday party when she was a kid, she almost drowned bobbing for apples, then this blonde kid dressed as a vampire comes and saves her, not once but twice. It was then and there that I knew this blonde kid was the one for my little sunshine. That kid was Farkle. And I'm proud to say that I let him marry Riley.''

The wedding party applauded, and Riley seemed slightly humiliated by her childhood embarrassment.

'' Thank you, Maya. now for the cowboy vet, Lucas!'' Auggie said as he pointed to Lucas. The veterinarian just sighed. He was used to being labeled a Texas stereotype.

'' Hi everyone. I'm Lucas Friar and I'm Farkle's best man. I cant say I've known Farkle as long as Maya's known Riley but I know Farkle super well. I can say with absolute certainty that this guy wills top at nothing to achieve his goals. And his ultimate goal was to get Riley to go out with him for free.'' The wedding party laughed and Farkle just glared at his friend, half lidded.

'' Believe me I was always rooting for Farkle and Riley to get together. From day 1 I knew they had some sort of weird connection. I can only describe it as the most powerful feelings I've ever seen. Seeing you guys together makes me realize that true love exists, and I'm proud to say I found mine'' Lucas wrapped his arm around Maya's waist. '' Farkle and Riley, I wish you nothing but pure euphoria for the rest of your lives.''

The wedding party applauded, and Lucas pressed his lips softly against Maya's.

The rest of the toasts were pretty normal. However, the real fun came when it was time for the cake.

The cake Aubrey baked was amazing. It was six tiers high and was platinum in color with blue roses on it made out of sugar.

Everyone however was surprised when Farkle was the one who broke tradition and fed the cake to Riley nicely. Riley however shoved it in his face, the strawberry jam making him look like he had a bad gash on his cheek.

As the party began to die down, Cory and Topanga came up to the newly weds.

'' Why don't you to get out of here. The limo's waiting outside'' Cory said.

'' Are you sure? I mean this is our wedding after all'' Riley said.

'' Positive, now get out of here before Farkle's parents arrive, otherwise you'll never be allowed to leave'' Cory teased.
