It was a half day of school at Whitehall High on Friday, December 19, 2020. This day marked the beginning of winter break, which all of the students and staff looked forward to. When the two lovers arrived at the restaurant, they were led straight to their table when JP mentioned that he had a reservation for the both of them. Cat ordered a lunch-sized fettuccine alfredo with an iced tea, while JP ordered a lunch-sized fish and chips plate with a Pepsi. As they enjoyed their meals, they discussed what they would be doing for the holidays, what they were thankful for, and memories from when they were small children.
After they finished their meals, JP ordered a Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake for he and Cat to share. When JP made the reservation the day before, he requested the kitchen staff to write "Happy Birthday, Cat" on the cake. Cat was pleasantly surprised when she heard a bunch of waiters carrying the cake to their table and singing "Happy Birthday" to her. She was extremely impressed that JP pulled off the stunt so seamlessly.
"Babe, you truly are a gem. Thank you so much for this awesome surprise," Cat said with much enthusiasm. She then reached over the table to kiss him on the lips as a way of thanking him.
"All the best for my queen," JP replied.
Then, he reached into his sweatshirt pocket, pulled out a small box, and opened it. Cat let out a huge gasp as she knew that the ring in the box was a promise ring which meant that she and JP would be a steady couple from here on out.
JP further articulated, "Darling, you are my everything. There is absolutely nothing I wouldn't do for you, and I want to be there for you forever and always. I will let nothing come between us, and I will protect you forever and ever. I love you so much. Catalina Trastamara, will you be my forever and always?"
Crying with many tears of joy over his vows and over the promise ring, Cat happily replied, "Yes, Jean Pierre Louverture! I gladly accept! I will bet there for you always too. I love you to the moon and back."
JP flashed his trademark grin upon hearing her response. He then delicately placed the ring, which was a simple silver band with a princess cut diamond in the center, on Cat's left index finger.
"Happy Birthday, my angel," JP said as he watched Cat stare at the beautiful ring that was on her finger.
This was then followed by 10 seconds of passionate kissing in which the lovers got up from their seats to tightly embrace one another. Following their make-out session, they sat down giggling with much joy.
"Oh, baby. I…I can't describe this wonderful feeling I have right now," Cat said with glee.
"I can't believe this is real either," JP responded with equal zeal.
"We are for each other forever and always," Cat said passionately.
The next day at around 4 PM, Cat had a dying urge to celebrate with JP about their vows to be together forever. She called the local Marriott Courtyard to book a guest room that she and JP could spend the night at. "Sounds good, baby. But I think the most delicious thing at the hotel will obviously be you," JP flirted.
"Oh, you're so bad, and I love it," Cat gushed.
After letting out a chuckle, JP said keenly, "I will see you then, my queen. Talk soon. Bye."
"See you then! Bye," Cat said with equal excitement before JP ended the call.
When Cat arrived at JP's house, she saw him standing outside the front door waiting for her. He looked absolutely dashing in his black sport coat, matching dress pants, black shoes, and a grey fedora. He complimented her dinner look perfectly. Cat was dressed in a purple, figure-hugging mini-dress with simple black high heels. Her hair was worn down in beach-style waves. For her makeup, she had pink lip gloss, a light coat of black eyeliner lining her eyelids, black mascara, and copper eyeshadow. She finished her look with diamond drop earrings and a diamond tennis bracelet to go with her promise ring.
"Hey, hot stuff," Cat said in a flirtatious tone. Then she asked, "Ready for a good time?"
"Oh, you bet," JP replied eagerly.
After having a yummy seafood dinner, JP and Cat were extremely hungry for one another. So, when they arrived at the hotel room, they made out quite heavily and with intense passion.
