Ah, I'm sorry for being inactive yesterday! Please don't kill me T-T

Take this story and a special as compensation!

Peach was outdoors, in her orchard, which was conveniently situated outside the mansion. Hearing footsteps behind her, she turned around and saw Ness and Lucas.

"Hiya Princess Peach! What'cha doing?" Ness asked, Lucas holding the other boy's hand tightly.

"Ah, hello there! I'm just thinking about… princess things, you know? This place is great for thinking!"

"Wow… Are those fruit trees? Is there fruit on them?" Ness asked, spotting a round, pinkish-orangish sphere dangling from one of the branches.

"Yeah! Here, why don't you two try one?" Peach picked two pieces of fruit off the trees, and took delight in watching Ness with his vigorous chomping, and Lucas with his timid nibbling. A couple minutes later, Lucina walked into the orchard, calling out Ness and Lucas's names.

"We're over here, Luci!" Peach waved over at her, and the Ylissean princess let out a breath of relief. "There you two are. Next time, tell me where you are going before you run off. I don't want to get in trouble if you two are hurt."

"Oop. Sorry about that, Lucina." Ness looked up from his half eaten 'peach'.

"Hey Peach, have any idea where Zelda is?"

"Yeah! She's in the garden marked with the Triforce symbol. I heard that Link was going to help her with something today."

"Ah, I see. Thank you. Boys, why don't we go visit Zelda for a change? We can't have you two eating up Peach's orchard."

Private Messaging (with Zelda)

Marth: Remind me why you had me do this?

Zelda: Hm? Oh, are you asking why I wanted you to go grab a bottle from my room?

Marth: There's so many….

Marth: Why didn't you ask Link?

Zelda: He's helping me with my garden.

Marth: Which one was the one you wanted?

Zelda: The blue one with the Triforce symbol on it.

Marth: All of them have the Triforce symbol on it.

Marth: Not a single one of them are blue.

Zelda: …

Zelda: Check under the nightstand.

Marth: There's nothing there.

Zelda: Move it over. You should see a trapdoor.

Marth: You have a secret cellar in your room…

Zelda: Yep.

Marth: Wow…

Marth: Zel?

Zelda: Yes?

Marth: I just counted 26 bottles.

Marth: All of them are blue with the Triforce symbol on them…

Zelda: Take the one with a photo of Link shivering in a swimsuit in a lake.

Marth: ?

Zelda: What?

Marth: Uhh

Zelda: Are you staring at the photo…?

Marth: Yes…?

Zelda: Just bring it to the Hylian Garden and we're good.

Marth: How did you even get this picture?

Zelda: That's when we went to Lake Hylia. Link says it's as cold as liquid ice.

Marth: I'm not even going to ask.

When Lucina arrived, Ness and Lucas instantly rushed up and greeted the two Hylians.

"Link! Zelda!"

"Oh, Hey Ness, Lucas," the hero greeted. He seemed to be holding a small shovel in his hand, and was planting something tiny.

"Ah, Lucina, pleasure to see you, as always." Zelda waved, casting a smile in Lucina's direction.

"Same for you, Zelda. What are you planting today?"

"Oh, nothing too out of the ordinary. Link is replanting his Hearty Radishes, while I'm seeing how well Endura Carrots grow here."

Ness and Lucas were running around, poking at some of the already harvested vegetables.

"Wow Link, this one is really big!" Lucas said, picking up a radish that was half as large as his head.

"Yeah, and that's why those are called Big Hearty Radishes," Link replied, giving him a pat on the head, then proceeding to plant another radish.

Just then, Marth walked into the garden, holding a blue bottle in his hands. "Is this the item you requested me to bring?"

"Ah, the water from Lake Hylia. Thank you." Zelda took the bottle, and poured it into a shallow trench, intending to use it as some sort of irrigation ditch.

Lucina dipped her finger in the liquid, then reeled back in shock.

Marth looked rather concerned. "Lucina, is something the matter? If you have a problem with water, we can always go back inside…"

"Not that, Marth. Just… I dare you to touch that water. It feels worse than being hit with a frost spell!"

"Really? I've touched melted ice, and it wasn't that bad. How could this be any different?"

Not wanting to refuse a dare, the prince dipped his finger into the liquid, then reeled backwards.

"Wha-! That… How do your plants even survive that?!"

Link shook his head. "It was awful. Did you not see that hideous picture of me on the back of the bottle? Zelda put it there as a warning of how cold it was. You don't see the literal Champion of the Wild shivering everyday, now, do you?"

Zelda merely laughed. "Well, at least you learned something today."

Private Messaging (with Ike)

Marth: Aiku

Ike: Yes?

Marth: My finger feels numb.

Ike: Where are you?

Ike: I'm bringing Ragnell with me so I can kill whomever numbed your finger.

Marth: I don't think you can kill water.

Ike: ?

Marth: I'm in Zelda's garden right now.

Ike: Oh

Ike: Lemme guess. Cold Hylian water in a random blue bottle marked with a Triforce symbol.

Marth: !

Ike: ?

Marth: How did you…

Ike: You never really think to look behind you, do you?

Marth: What?!

Ike: I told Cloud to keep an eye on you.

Marth: I thought I told you I would be fine…

Ike: That doesn't stop me from worrying about you.

Ike: Cloud told me about Lucina's stupid dare and how you actually did it…

Marth whirled around, but saw nobody.

"Um, Marth, are you alright? Were you expecting someone?" Lucina asked, tapping the Hero-King on the shoulder.

"Yep, you looked really scared!" Ness chimed in.

Suddenly, there was a voice. "Eh, about time."

Everyone was shocked as the tree branches above them rustled, and out dropped Cloud.

"What?!"

"Hey," Cloud said, unstrapping his huge sword, just to plant it on the ground and lean on it.

"How long were you following me?!" Marth yelled, surprised that he was even there.

Cloud merely cracked his knuckles casually and said, "oh, only for about the last half hour. Ike wanted me to check on you and make sure you didn't get into any dumb situations…"

"I'm the Hero-King, for Naga's sake!"

"Sure, and the Young Lion doesn't occasionally 'accidentally' blow up his room when having fun."

Ness and Lucas were in awe at Cloud's amazing stealth, but what amazed them even more, was the fact that when Lucina had to 'watch' them, they could always go off and have an amazing day with the older smashers.
