Chapter 34 Back to the Castle

Marluxia's POV

I had just arrived back at our base of operations.

"Marluxia", I heard somebody say.

Then, I turned around and saw Larxene.

"So you didn't die", she pointed out as she walked up to me. "That's good. I guess."

I just smirked at this comment before I started looking around.

"So", I started. "Where's my sister?"

"With the last person you want her to be with", Larxene replied.

This statement made my blood run cold in my veins.

"Don't tell me", I started.

I got my answer, when I heard this.

"Big brother", I heard a familiar voice say.

Then...I turned around, and saw my sister holding hands...with Ventus.

I looked at this sight in shock, and then...in anger.

"You", I said angrily as I pointed towards Ventus.

Then...I summoned my Keyblade.

"Wait big brother", Strelitzia pleaded. "Please hear us out."

"Nothing you can say will change my mind", I stated. "There is no way that I'm letting you near my sister! Now, get away from her, or I'll make you."

Ventus did not move at this threat. Instead, he continued to hold my sister's hand and stare me down.

I tried to get closer to him, but was blocked by Aqua and Terra.

"Move", I commanded.

"No way", Terra stated.

"We're not letting you near Ven", Aqua added.

"I can make you move too", I pointed out.

"Try us", Terra goaded.

I was about to do something about it, when I heard this.

"Yikes", I heard a familiar voice say. "What's going on here?"

With that I turned around, and saw...Xigbar?

"Xigbar", I asked in shock.

"Sup Rose Reaper", Xigbar greeted.

"I get it", Demyx said happily.

"Xiggy", Larxene said in shock. "What are you doing here?"

"He's joined the 'switching to the good guys' side' club", Demyx revealed.

"Of course you did", Larxene stated.

"Yep", Xigbar said. "And it's a good thing too, 'cause I've got some info you'll wanna hear."

Ten Minutes Later

Xigbar had just finished telling us what his info was.

"The rest of the Sinful Energy is at that castle we were at five months ago", Brain asked in shock.

"The one that showed us our memories in those mirrors", Ephemer added.

"That's the one", Xigbar replied. "The Master's there too."

"Why", Skuld asked.

"Well", Xigbar started. "From what I heard, the castle's only going to let the seven formerly branded people through."

"Why", Ephemer asked. "What does the Master want from us?"

"He didn't tell us that", Xigbar replied.

"How do we know that you're not just leading us into a trap", I asked.

"I believe him", Skuld said.

"Besides", Brain started. "Even if this is a trap, it's not like we have any other options."

"He has a point", Strelitzia pointed out.

"Then what do we do", Ventus asked.

"Go to the castle and see what the Master of Master's wants", Brain replied. "Unless anybody has any other ideas?"
