Chapter: 14: Midna Remembers
*note: I hope you enjoy the chapter. Also, I found out that in Arabic, Rami's name means archer. Kind of funny seeing how Rami is great with a bow.*
*Jay's POV*
"Sir, we are being attacked from the west." General Demise comes up to me during my date with Rami.
"Attacked?!" Rami and I say simultaneously.
"Rami, follow me. Demise, get to Hyrule City and warn the citizens to stay indoors until we say it's safe."
Demise rushes off to the capital.
After alerting the others, Twilight, who was guarding us, got the Hyrulian Army.
I gathered my monster army. Rami and I led the defense.
*free-roam camera POV*
Enemy ships approached. As they got close, they fired.
The enemies get to the beach.
Hundreds of soldiers, all ready to fight.
As they stormed up the shore, Twilight and Midna stand together.
"Hey Midna, how's everything going?" He starts, while stabbing an enemy soldier with his sword.
"Is this really the best time to talk? We're kind in the middle of a battle!" She says.
"Why not?"
"Less talking, more battling!"
"Ok, ok, sheesh! Man you've become even more sassy than ever! I love it!"
"I'll give you more sassy, if you don't shut up!"
"I wouldn't mind that." He says, trying to flirt.
She elbows him.
*Midna's POV*
Why is he trying to flirt with me at a time like this? I can't even remember him, and he acts like he's known me for years!
I see him shift into his wolf form. Huh. Something about him seems familiar…
*after the battle, Midna decided that she would ask Twilight about what had happened on the battlefield*
"Twilight, can we talk?"
"Sure, Midna!" He says.
"Why were you trying to flirt with me during the battle? I don't know you. Why do you act like you've known me for years?
"I guess Jay forgot to remind you about me, huh? Well I have known you for many years. In fact, only a few years ago, I confessed my love for you."
Why would Jay forget that? My brother is smarter than that!
Wait… he had me in restraints when I woke up that morning... Did Jay... mind control me? No… right? Unless…
"Did Jay… mind control me?" I ask. "Because Jay doesn't seem like the kind of person that would forget that kind of thing."
He seems nervous. "N-No, no! W-Why would your brother do that?"
"Alright… I'm going to go take a nap."
"Ok, bye Midna."
*in the Dreamscape*
Where am I? What the fuck is going on?
"Midna, remember who you are!" I hear my voice.
Suddenly, my mind brings up memories that I don't remember.
*start flashbacks*
"Link… why did you save me. It wouldn't have affected me…" Twilight looks at her thinking to himself. "Because…I…love…you…Midna." She looks unsurprised. "I knew that" Angry, I then spoke up, "Midna! Alpha confesses his love for you, and the first thing you do is make a snarky remark?! My eyes start to glow red with anger. "Whoa, Pup! It's fine. Honestly that's why I love her." Alpha says, cheeks blushing with embarrassment. "See he said it himself!"
*last flashback*
Mind controlled. I fly down in front of him. He looks at me with hatred burning in his eyes.
"You." He says. "You came all this way, only to pay for trying to hurt my pack."
"Shut the hell up, asshole!" I yell.
"Careful with your words, Midna! There are kids around!" He says sarcastically.
"Trying to outdo me in sarcasm I see?" I say sarcastically.
"Let's take this somewhere more… suitable for me to fight you." He snaps fingers.
I find myself on a giant flying platform of sheikah tech. It's been corrupted by his malice. He has home turf advantage.
I bring out the fused shadow.
"Your line ends here Midna! I will slay you with the help of Ghirahim!"
He lifts hands and takes off his cloak. He throws it to the ground. He then forms malice armor.
If I touch his armor, I will lose.
"Ghirahim, blade form!"
A sword appears in his hand.
I activate the fused shadow.
*end of flashbacks*
The malice on me falls off. I have broken free of Jay's mind control.
Now it's time to kick some ass!
