Love is in the air, but that can be dangerous. It depends on the one who brings the love. Since everything appeared normal in Angel Grove, Robby just went on like everything was normal.
"Oof!" Robby turned around and saw a girl tripped on her own heel shoes. He hurried over to her and helped her up.
"Are you okay?" Robby asked.
"I think so." The girl said. When Robby got a good look at her, he was amazed with how beautiful she looked. This girl was like a model to him. "Hello. I'm Leni."
"I'm Robby."
"I know. You're the actor. You are like the hottest actor there is." Leni said with Robby flattered. Robby took a look at a snake bracelet she was wearing and he did, he suddenly had hearts in his eyes. "I don't suppose you would like to meet me for lunch tomorrow, would you?"
"Yes!" Robby said as he seemed very excited. "I would love to."
"Great." Leni said as she walked away and it looked like Robby got hit hard by Cupid. Better than him than a monster, a monster that was hiding out. Vyla hid in the bushes and she saw what happened.
"Excellent." Vyla said.
...
Joey
"Nothing like a nice burger on a sunny day." Joey said. Joey treated himself to a burger and was on his way. He just kept walking until he walked right into someone.
"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry."
"No. I'm sorry." Joey said. He got a good look into who he walked into and saw it was Leni, with him being amazed with her beauty. "It was completely my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going. You think that if I can't talk and eat, I should at least see and eat." Leni laughed at his little joke.
"Tell me about it. There should be a sign or something." Leni said as the two of them shared a laugh. "I'm Leni." She said as she held out her hand.
"Joey." Joey shook her hand and noticed her snake bracelet. When he did, it actually shot a beam and he fell head over heels for her.
"You want to join me for lunch tomorrow? It's the least I can do." Leni said.
"Yeah. I would love to." Joey said.
"Great." Leni said as she walked by. Joey saw her off as he walked backwards and bumped into a couple stuff. As for Leni, she walked over and met with Vyla.
"Did it go well, Lamenia?" Vyla asked.
"Two rangers down, two to go." Leni said as she showed her true form. She was a pink scaly creature with slit eyes and had blonde hair tied into a tail. The rangers are walking into a trouble and that trouble is love.
...
David and Travis
David and Travis were doing some jogging as they raced against each other with David in the lead.
"Come on! I thought you were suppose to be a leader." David taunted as he was ahead. Travis was doing his best to try and catch him, but he had to stop when his head was hit by a tennis ball.
"Ow! What the heck?" Travis questioned.
"Sorry!" Leni came over to him as she grabbed the tennis ball.
"It's okay." Travis said as he just brushed it off and kept going. That wasn't going to Leni's plan, but she wasn't going to let him go.
"I really am sorry. I need to make it up to a cutie like you. I'm Leni."
"Look, you seem nice, but I'm actually interested in someone else." Travis said. Leni wasn't going to let him go that easily. When he wasn't looking, she used her bracelet and Travis fell under her spell. "I must be nuts." Travis turned back to her. "I'm Travis. How would you like to go out with me?"
"I love to." Leni said.
"Travis?!" David called as he went back. "What happened? I thought we were racing?"
"Yeah... I'll see you later, Leni." Travis said and ran off ahead.
"Weird. I thought he was into Sierra." David said.
"Your friend seems nice." Leni said. "Although, I have to say that you appear more muscular than he is."
"Really? I thought so." David said as he flexed a little as Leni felt.
"I'm Leni." She said as she held out her bracelet again. David took her hand and he fell under her spell as well. Now all four of the guys are under the spell and that's not good.
...
The Next Day
The girls were completely unaware of what was going on. As they were at the Youth Center and were just doing some work, Robby came by with a bunch of flowers.
"Hey. I need a girl's opinion. What do you think of these flowers, best money could buy." Robby said.
"They're lovely, Robby." Valerie said.
"Yeah. What's going on?" Abby said.
"I met a girl. She is gorgeous and thinks I'm hot." Robby said. "I don't know how, but she and I really hit it off. I'm meeting her for lunch at a lovely café."
"That's great." Sierra said.
"Hey!" Joey called as he came in. "I need a girl's opinion. How do I look? I met this girl. She thinks I'm funny and we really hit it off."
"You and Robby both met someone? That's great" Abby said.
"They're not the only ones." All of them looked to see Travis and David arrived as well.
"Don't tell me. You two met someone as well." Valerie said.
"Even you, Travis?" Sierra said as she did not like the sound of that.
"Yeah. She's a babe." Travis said. "David met someone too and we're both meeting our dates at this café for lunch."
"Me too!" Robby and Joey said.
"Awesome. Maybe all of us can hang out together. It could be fun." David suggested and they all liked the sound of that. The four of them got going and the girls thought they were acting a little strange.
"That's weird, isn't it?" Sierra asked. "All four of them meet a girl and they're heading for the same place for lunch? I've got a bad feeling about this."
"It does seem rather strange, but maybe things will work out well." Abby said, but Sierra had some doubts.
...
The Café
Leni was waiting for the rangers as they stepped into her trap. She soon spotted all four of them showing up and she can't wait for the show to begin.
"Leni!" All four of them called, but they were all shocked to hear the others call for her.
"Hold on. She's here for me, the famous actor." Robby said.
"In your dreams. I'm on a date with her." Joey said.
"No way. I'm on a date with her." David said.
"Guess again. She's here for me." Travis said.
"Oh my. You're all so great. I just don't know who to choose." Leni said. The four of them began arguing with each other about this. This is just how she wanted it.
...
The Girls
The girls had no idea what was going on with the guys. While they were all busy, the girls heard their communicators go off and new there was trouble.
"What is it?" Sierra asked.
"Vyla and a team of golems have been spotted in Angel Grove." Zultro said. "Gamma is attempting to reach the others, but you three better get down there fast." The girls understood and hurried off. Down in Angel Grove, Vyla was causing havoc like Zultro said.
"With the rangers out of the way, this will be easy." Vyla said.
"Vyla!" She turned around and saw the three of them running their way to her. "That's as far as you go." Sierra said as she and Abby pulled out their blasters.
"Girl power. Respectful, but not very scary." Vyla said. She unleashed green lightning at the three of them and blasted them.
"Where are the others?" Valerie questioned.
"I don't know, but they better get here fast." Abby said. Until they get here, assuming that they do, the three of them got back up and went on the attack.
...
The Guys
Everything was going exactly to Lamenia's plan. The guys are turning against each other and the girls are in real danger. When Travis heard his communicator, he stepped to the side and answering.
"What?!" Travis said with some impatience.
"Travis, the girls are in trouble. You and the guys need to hurry and help them." Gamma said.
"Buzz off. Proving to Leni I'm her guy is more important." Travis said as he just ended the call and went back to arguing with the guys.
...
The Girls
The three of them were able to fight off the golems, but Vyla is another story. She jumped into the fight and slashed her spear against each one of them. She jumped into the air and unleashed another electrical attack at them and blasted the three of them down.
"With some of the rangers out of the picture, this is just too easy." Vyla said.
"Where are the guys?" Abby questioned.
"I don't know, but we better get out of here." Sierra said. She used her blaster and shot some of the golems as they made a run for it. Vyla laughed as she can just see victory.
...
The Command Center
"A girl?! You blew off your ranger responsibilities because of a girl?!" Zultro said. He was able to get all the rangers to gather together. While the girls were having their injuries treated, Zultro lectured the boys on their behavior. As he was talking to them, Gamma was quietly scanning them.
"I know it seems bad, but this girl is a babe." Travis said.
"She's awesome." Joey said.
"Boys." Abby said as the girls couldn't believe they were that dumb.
"Figures. A pretty girl comes around and they act like morons." Valerie said.
"I don't care how nice this girl is. You are rangers. You can't just ignore a call." Zultro said.
"Zultro's right. We were in trouble and you guys just ignored us." Sierra said. "I think it might be best you guys don't see this girl anymore. You can't let her distract you from being rangers or being friends."
"Sierra's right. It's for the best." Travis said. The others seemed to have agreed, but they all had crossed fingers. Even though that's what he said, Sierra had suspicions. As for Gamma, he had the feeling that something else was going on.
...
Travis
Travis wasn't true to his word like he promised. He met with Leni and the two of them were walking.
"I'm real sorry about that whole mess. I don't know what I was thinking. You're the one I like." Leni said.
"I knew it." Travis said. As the two of them were walking, Sierra thought she couldn't trust what Travis said. She kept hidden and saw she was right.
"That rat. He lied." Sierra said. She was actually thinking of going over and giving those two a piece of her mind, but she stopped when she heard her communicator. "What?!"
"Sierra, teleport back to the Command Center. I think I figured out what's going on." Gamma said. Sierra wishes she could deal with Travis, but she's not going to make the same mistake the boys made.
...
The Command Center
"What's going on?" Sierra said as she came back where the others were waiting.
"You found something, Gamma?" Valerie asked.
"I did. I didn't think it was like the boys to act the way they did." Gamma said. "So I ran a scan of them and I think I know what's going on."
"All four of them are actually under a spell." Zultro said.
"A spell?!" Sierra said as all the girls were shocked. "So Travis is under a spell. Great!" She was relieved to hear that and the others looked at her with confusion. "I mean... Oh no. I bet that girl they've all been seeing has something to do with it."
"You might be right. She's probably one of Locore's monsters." Abby said.
"Gamma, find the guys. If she has them under a spell, there's no telling what she'll have them do." Zultro said and Gamma got to work.
...
The Park
"This is nice. No one here to get in our way." Travis said as he and Leni walked through the park.
"Hey!" Robby called as he showed up. "What are you doing with her?"
"Can't you tell? She chose a real man." Travis said. That was when he was shoved by David.
"That would be me." David said.
"Hey!" Joey called. "You guys keep your hands off Leni. She's mine."
"Oh yeah? What are you going to do about it?" Robby taunted. Leni turned up the power as she had them attacked each other. Joey grabbed Robby's arm and flipped him to the ground. Joey ran to Leni, but Travis kicked him back. David joined in as he tackled Travis and the four of them started fighting each other.
"It's morphin time!" All four of them said. All four of them actually morphed and were willing to go that far against each other as they kept it up. That was right when the other rangers arrived.
"Guys, stop it!" Abby called.
"You're under a spell that's forcing you to fight each other!" Valerie said, but they wouldn't stop to listen.
"There she is!" Sierra said as she spotted Leni and went over to her. "I know what you really are and what you've done to them." Leni laughed as she transformed into Lamenia.
"Well, you're too late. Soon, those rangers will destroy each other. That just leaves you three little brats!" Lamenia unleashed an energy whip and lashed at all three of them. "Your end is here!"
"I don't think so!" Abby said as she and Valerie pulled out their weapons and jumped at her as they both slashed against her.
"I got her!" Sierra said as she pulled out her bow and blasted her.
"Look! She still has that bracelet! I bet that's where the spell originated from!" Valerie said.
"I'll get it!" Sierra said as she pulled out her saber and charged right at her. Lamenia got back up and unleashed attacks at her, but Sierra pushed through until she got close enough to destroy the bracelet in on hit.
"No! My bracelet!" Lamenia shouted. With the bracelet destroyed, the boys snapped back to reality as the spell was broken.
"What happened?" Robby asked.
"What are we doing here?" Joey questioned.
"Were we fighting each other?" Travis said.
"Guys!" Abby called. "Looks like you all snapped out of." The guys are back to normal, but Sierra kept the attacks going with her saber. She gave Lamenia a powerful slash and it hit her pretty hard.
"That felt good." Sierra said.
"Sierra!" Travis called as all of them regrouped. "You okay?"
"I'll be better once we get rid of her." Sierra said.
"Lamenia isn't beaten yet. Her love will only get bigger." Locore said as he watched this unfold. "Grow!" He used his power and hit Lamenia with it as she grew into a giant.
"We need spirit animal power now!" Sierra called as she was taking charge. They called their zords and formed the Spirit Megazord! "Phoenix-Zord, come help us!" Sierra called for the zord and it changed into it's megazord-mode. It dived right in and gave Lamenia a powerful kick.
"Watch it!" Lamenia said. The Phoenix Megazord charged right at her and used it's blades to slash against her a few times.
"Where's the love?" Lamenia said as she grabbed the megazord's arms and kicked it back. As for the Spirit Megazord, it already flew into the air and was coming down at her. They came down and smashed their energized fists against her and she ended up destroyed rather quickly. Either way, it's another win for the rangers.
...
The Youth Center
Travis arrived at the Youth Center. When he got there, he spotted Sierra at the counter and went to talk to her.
"Hey." Travis said as he got her attention. "Came to check on you. The way you handled Lamenia was weird. It was almost like you had something personal against her."
"Don't be silly. She was just another monster that had to be taken down." Sierra said.
"Maybe, but you got to admit she was a babe in human-form." Travis said and Sierra couldn't believe him.
"Seriously? You're that shallow?" Sierra asked.
"Well..." Travis said. Sierra was shocked, but Travis just laughed it off. "No. I'm just messing with you." Travis just walked off as he thought that was funny.
"Just out of curiosity, what is your type?" Sierra asked.
"Well, my type would probably be someone that's nice, pretty, smart. Something like...you." Travis said.
"Me?!" Sierra said. Travis confirmed and walked off with Sierra very happy to hear him say that.
