'Not get caught. Live and survive, huh?' Angel thought to himself. It was kind of boring thing to say in his opinion, but he guessed it was what kept the two sisters going. Being a pair of demigods, running around the country for 3 years can't be easy. They must really know how to avoid getting caught.

"So, does 'not get caught' mean something different to you two, or...?" Angel mumbled as the trio of teens were quickly surrounded by monsters. Almost as soon as they rushed out of the warehouse, a dozen monsters stood in front of them. Then more showed up, then more, then more. They was a mix of almost every monster he has dealt with before; gorgons, dracaena, cyclops, and even giants that now wielded clubs.

What scared him most about the giants however was how there was red liquid dripping of their clubs. Something told him that it wasn't just red paint. He didn't see any hellhounds though, but instead there were some of them were still in their human disguises, all being attractive young women. The boy slowly watched however as the women were replaced by fire haired, goat and metal legged monsters. Their fangs became longer and their face was more distorted and scaly. Angel was pretty sure the fire haired creatures were empousa, which would be very bad for him to deal with.

As far as he knew they were like vampires, except they only hunted men.

"Because running outside where a bunch of monsters are waiting for you seems like a good way to get caught."

"Do you honestly think being sarcastic is going to be any help to us right now?" Sabrina growled in annoyance at the young boy.

"I'm sarcastic when I'm nervous."

"Great, that's totally not going to get obnoxious." Mia muttered, glaring at the monsters in front of her defiantly.

"Well now you're just being a hypocrite." Angel shot back.

"How the hell does that make me a hypocrite?" The tall black haired teen hissed, turning to face the boy who had his lighter in hand.

"You said me being sarcastic would be annoying, while being sarcastic."

"Can both of you just shut up and take this seriously?" Sabrina exclaimed, before grabbing a dagger from the side holder of her backpack. It was made completely of celestial bronze, the blade being about 10 inches long while the hilt was a dark shade of green. She held it with the blade facing behind her, which probably meant she's more comfortable with stabbing instead of slashing.

"We never back down from a fight." Mia stated, before she flicked an earing she had on her left ear. Angel didn't notice it until now, but she only had it on that one ear. It was a small and simple gold earing, but as soon as she flicked it flashed pink for a second before a gun appeared in her left hand.

It looked like some sort of Glock model, with it being completely black expect for the pink myrtle design it had on the grip.

Angel lit his lighter which converted it to his glaive, and he looked at Mia's gun in awe

"Wow, you have a gun?" He asked in astonishment.

"And you have a giant stick with a sword on it." She replied back smartly, before taking off the safety.

"But I thought guns don't-"

"Celestial bronze bullets kid, now focus." She interrupted, before returning to face the monsters before them.

Who were nice enough to wait for the teens to take out their weapons and defend themselves.

'I have so many questions...' Angel thought to himself, he's always wanted to shot a gun.

While that was happening, the group of snake monsters hissed amongst themselves. Looking at one of the mortals in particular.

"The boy. He's here." One of the dracaena's mumbled, barely audible for the teens to hear.

"If we capture him, the lord will be pleasssed." She hissed, and the other monsters focused their attention on the two sisters.

"What about those two?" A gorgon asked, before a giant stomped his feet on the ground.

"Meat! Female taste better than male!" He grunted, and his brethren agreed.

"They seem to want to capture you." Sabrina mumbled, not knowing that Angel was one of the top targets for Kronos and his army.

"And it looks like they want to eat you." He answered back, before flipping his glaive into an offensive stance. He would usually be weary of fighting this many monsters at once, but at this point he didn't really have a choice. They were completely surrounded, and he wasn't sure if he could pull off the same move he did in the forest. It took a lot out of him to summon that much fire, if he did it again he might make himself too exhausted to even fight.

Plus he had some back up this time, so he was a little more confident in his chances.

"As if we'd let them." Mia said with a smirk, before aiming her Glock at one of the empousa. The monster growled and her fiery hair flared up, before charging at the teens. The rest of the monsters followed her lead, and what after was udder chaos.

Angel heard the gun shot echo in his head, but he did his best to push it out of his mind and rush to engage a pair of gorgons wielding spears. He easily out maneuvered them, ducking under their jabs before slashing his glaive in an upwards slash. The monster tried to block the attack, but the blade simply cut through their defenses, breaking the spear in half and piercing her chest and lower face.

The other tried to take advantage of the boy's blind spot, but he saw her attack coming from a mile away. He quickly side stepped her advances and thrusting his glaive behind him to pierce her stomach. The gorgon gasped in pain, slowly looking down to see the blade piercing her body before combusting into dust.

As soon as he delivered the final blow, he watched as a giant club came down in front of him, and he quickly jumped back. He wasn't quick enough however and felt the shockwave of the club hitting the ground knock him off his feet, before looking up to see two hungry looking giants stare at him in anger.

What the champion wasn't expecting however was for another gunshot to echo in his ears as one of the giant's flinched and grunt out in pain, only to look back and see Mia aiming her pistol in their direction. She then quickly dash away from a blade of a sword that would've surely decapitated her, before taking aim and shooting the dracaena in the face. The monsters body became limp as her eyes became hollow and empty, before collapsing onto the ground and turning into dust.

She didn't have a moment to catch her breath however, as a group of gorgons charged at the daughter of love. She quickly took aim, able to take out a couple of them. But the ones that remained were able to deflect her bullets with their swords, as Mia was forced onto the defensive. Her eyes then widened in horror as she heard a clicking sound, before watching her gun magically reload itself.

She never had to reload manually, and the bullets always returned to the gun itself, but it took forever to do so she was left completely defenseless. Mia was forced to weave and duck under the gorgons attack, glad she had a very slim and agile body. But it would be a matter of time before one of them got a lucky blow, she had to come up with something fast.

"Sabrina! Little help!" She cried out, before throwing her head back and feeling the blade of the offending gorgon cut her cheek slightly. The French braided girl heard her sisters cry of help, as she struggled against an empousa. She quickly swept the monsters feet from under her before kneeling down and closing her eyes. Sabrina focused on the plants growing underneath the ground, before opening her eyes which glowed a grassy green for a slight moment.

"Sprout and Grow." She commanded, and quickly hundreds of vines and roots erupted from the ground. The gorgons were caught completely off guard as the roots quickly entangled the monsters, who struggled to swing their swords to break free. It gave the space required for Mia to get to safety long enough for her gun to reload, before returning to shooting monsters in the face.

"Someone capitalize on that!" Sabrina exclaimed as she returned her attention to a pair of empousa. Angel watched as the gorgons struggle against their confinement, and it reminded him of Grover's powers.

"On it!" Angel yelled, as he slashed his glaive against one of the giants knee's, crippling it to the ground. He then rushed over to the gorgons, who could only watch in horror as the boy rushed over to them and give a loud grunt and slashed his glaive horizontally. They all felt the blade pierce their backs and cried out in pain before they all exploded into dust. Angel quickly whipped around to go finish the giant he crippled, but watched as Mia ran behind the giant who struggled to get back on his feet, and press the trigger at the back of his head.

That was a bit too brutal for Angel's liking, as when he slashes and stabs monsters with his glaive they almost immediately turn to dust. But with that shot, the giant's head actually exploded in the grossest way possible before the rest of his body burst into dust. He didn't think he was squeamish at all, until he witnessed that.

He watched as Mia then proceeded to continue like nothing had happened, running from the group of monsters following her and using her superior agility to keep them far enough for her to shoot them down.

He was so caught off guard and in shock that he didn't realize someone tackle themselves onto the boy, who fell onto the ground with a thud. He grunted in pain and slowly opened his eyes, but what he saw surprised him.

"P-piper?" he stuttered, seeing the young daughter of love with her braided brown hair and rainbow like eyes stare back at him. She gave him a look that he had never seen before, one that made him feel weird in his lower stomach.

"Hey, long time no see." He heard her say with a purr, her voice sounded so enticing and...angelic. He couldn't help but be attracted to it. He was so enticed that he over looked the fact that she said it in a tone Piper had never used.

Slowly the world around him just started to fade away, and the only thing he could really see was her.

"You don't mind if I take a seat right here, do you?" She asked, before the boy felt her weight rest on his lap. He gulped nervously, but the boy couldn't look away.

"Of course you don't. You love it." She said with a giggle, before leaning over and taking of whiff of his neck. Angel felt a shiver run through his spine.

"You smell so good. So manly, right sister?" Suddenly Angel felt another person sniff the other side of his neck, and he visibly shivered at the goosebumps that ran down his being.

"I love a strong young man to keep me company." The voice sounded familiar, and the boy felt his cheeks warm up at who it might be. He turned his head to see Lady Khloris standing right next to him in her 20 year old form, her tanned face smiling mischievously at him.

"L-lady Khloris? W-what're you-" He stopped when he felt Piper run her fingers over his chest, and for some reason it felt so much better than anything he's ever experienced.

"I think you should take the first bite sis, it's your turn anyway." Piper hummed, but for some reason her voice faltered a bit. Like her voice was wearing a mask, and it was starting to slip off. But he didn't pay it any mind, he was too focused on her face to really notice.

"With pleasssure." Khloris purred back, before getting closer to the boy and revealing a pair of sharp fangs.

The boy felt her breath on his neck as he looked up at Piper, who smirked back with fangs poking out of her mouth.

"Don't worry, it'll all be over soon." She said as she rested a finger on his lips.

"Just sit back and-"

"SPROUT AND GROW!" Angel watched as Piper was grabbed by a bunch of vines, before being pulled off the champion and let out a cry of pain.

"Piper!" He cried as he watched the girl be tossed over like a sack of potatoes.

"Angel that's not who you think it is!" Sabrina yelled out, and the boy glared at the girl who was blade battling with a dracaena.

"It was an empousa! They hypnotize and prey on men before drinking their blood! Snap out of it!" She yelled, before pushing the monster onto the ground and piercing its chest with her dagger. Realization slowly dawned on the boy, as he watched Piper's form become distorted and twitchy. Sure enough her brown hair was replaced by fire, and her legs were now half goat half metal. His eyes widened as he watched her slowly get up, now glaring at the daughter of Demeter.

"Hey, look at me." Angel felt someone grab his cheeks, forcing him to look at them. He looked at the face of Lady Khloris, and he felt his cheeks warm up again.

"ignore them. I'm all that matters, right?" She asked softly, and Angel felt the world once again slowly fade away. But he blinked out of instinct, and her face became distorted and twitchy before returning to her sun kissed mischievous smile. His eyes widened in horror before he shut his eyes closed and roughly grabbed her by the arms.

"Get off of me!" He yelled, gripping her arms tighter and using all his strength to throw her off him. She landed onto the ground with a thud, and as soon as she did her body became similar to the other empousa. Except she was now wearing a skimpy cheerleading outfit, before she recovered and hissed angrily at the boy.

He forgot that empousa's were capable of hypnotizing their prey. He'll be sure to remember that next time.

"Let me handle the empousa Angel, they'll just enchant you again." Mia said as she ran up behind him, before taking aim and shooting at both vampires. Angel reluctantly left Mia take care of the goat legged demons before picking up his glaive and went to take down more of the giant's that were closing in on them, but the problem was that there was a lot more than before. It was like they tripled in numbers. But the champion of Hestia held firm as he charged head on towards the monsters, igniting his fists. He ducked under a swing from the giant's club, before letting out a thunderous punch to the giant's stomach.

The giant slowly fell onto the ground clutching his stomach in pain while Angel was pushed back, this time able to stay on his feet. He went to finish the job, when 3 more giants approached him it stopped the amber eyed pre-teen dead in his tracks. He was forced to step back and jump out of the way of their clubs, as the injured tried to get on his feet.

Sabrina saw this and decided to take the risk and try to finish him, rushing over to him with her dagger in hand. She was facing his back, and was careless because she thought he wouldn't be able to reach her. But she underestimated the monster, as he was able to turn around quickly enough and grab the older teen, who cried out in surprise.

"Pesky demigods." The giant growled, before chucking her up into the sky thinking gravity would do the work for him. Angel watched in horror as she ascended high up in the sky, before gravity started to take affect on her and falling straight down. he was just too far and too occupied with the three giant's that he hoped Mia could make it to her sister in time.

In his opinion, dying from the pull of gravity didn't seem like a nice way to go out.

"Sabrina!" Mia cried looking up at her descending sister, which was enough of a distraction for a gorgon to send a slash with her sword across the black haired teens arm. The daughter of Aphrodite cried out in pain as blood slowly started to leak out of the wound, lucky for her it wasn't her wielding arm as she returned to focusing on shooting down the monsters in front of her to get close enough to her sister.

Sabrina watched as the ground got closer and closer in a panic, before she looked over and saw the tree that was just to the right of her. She then extended her arm to it and tried her best to focus, before her eyes flashed green again.

"GROW!" She yelled, and in a burst of speed the tree erupted in bark and leaves. It grew at least 5 meters taller than what it was, and she landed onto the canopy of leaves. It wasn't the most pleasant of landings, but it was definitely better than the hard and unforgiving dirt. She focused once more, feeling the tree's essence in her head before her eyes flashed a dark brown color.

"Wither." Slowly the leaves on the trees became yellow and orange, before turning completely brown and eventually withering away into nothing. the bark started to falter as well, as the tree became smaller and smaller until it was close enough to the ground that Sabrina was able to safely jump off it. It then became a lump of old and dead bark, the remaining leaves now resting on the grassy dirt to be used as fertilizer for the next tree.

"Oh my gods you're okay!" Mia cried in joy as she ran towards where her sister had landed, giving her a quick hug.

"Oh course I'm okay dumbass." Sabrina said with a relieved smile, before her face turned serious when she saw the mob of monsters closing in on them.

"Now's not the time for celebration though, we got more company." Mia wiped the tears that were forming in her eyes, before glaring angrily at creatures ahead.

Angel side stepped another attack from the giant's, who all growled in annoyance as they weren't able to catch the nimble mortal. The champion didn't waste any time however as he slashed his weapon on the giant's arm, getting a pretty deep and clean cut. The giant cried out in pain and let go of his club, letting it fall onto the ground as he gripped his wound. Angel didn't try to finish him off however, as he focused his attention on the other two giant's.

He readied his glaive to strike, but he was taken completely by surprised when he heard a loud stomp come from behind him.

"Forget something, mortal?" The giant who Angel punched earlier asked, now looking down at the boy maliciously. Angel could only look back in horror as the giant readied his club, before whacking the champion like a pitcher would. It hit the champion right in the gut, and the boy felt himself cough blood as he was sent flying, before crashing his back onto a tree. he laid there silently for a moment, before he coughed up more blood, and groggily flipped himself on his back to try to catch his breath. He felt like there was iron in his mouth, while he let out small gasps of air as the hit knocked the wind out of him.

"Finally. Good meal." One of the giant's muttered hungrily.

"No, take to Kronos. No eat." Another responded, and the rest growled in annoyance. Angel took this opportunity to get back on his feet, but one of the giant's took notice and grinned evilly.

"I think not little demigod." A giant said, before lifting his huge foot and kicking him back onto the ground face first. Angel groaned into the grass as he felt like his forehead was wet with something, everything around him became blurry and disorienting.

"Grab him." The boy heard another say, and he used his last resort. He slowly started to heat up his body, smelling the odor of burning grass below him. As soon as one of the giant's tried to reach for him, he flinched in pain as his hand was burned.

"AH! Hot! Too hot!" He cried, waving his hand in the air to cool it off.

"Knock asleep. Powers turn off when asleep." One of them muttered, and they all nodded. But before they could knock the boy unconscious, one felt a bullet pierce it's shoulder, and it yelled out in pain.

"SPROUT!" Suddenly more vines erupted from the ground, entangling the giant's feet to stay in place.

"HEY! I stuck!" One cried as they all tried to break the roots. the monster with the deep cut on his arm struggled more, as it hurt to even move it.

"C'mon kiddo, stay with us!" Mia exclaimed as both sisters reached the young boy, before shaking his body. He had already started to allow his body to cool off, so Mia didn't get burned from touching him.

"Don't shake me like that idiot! I just got kicked across the face!" Angel exclaimed, feeling a headache start to form in his skull. He winced a little bit as his head throbbed in pain.

"Sorry. Can you walk?" The boy simply nodded, slowly getting on his feet and grabbing his glaive. When he stood, he watched a drop of red fall from over his head, and he could only assume he had a huge wound on his forehead. He didn't feel as wobblily as he thought he would though, so he guessed the hit to the head didn't do too much damage.

"There's more monsters on the way, we can't keep going like this!" Sabrina hissed, as she struggled to keep the giant's entangled in the roots.

"Mia, you need to go charm speak someone to give you their car. We have no choice. We'll keep them busy." Sabrina ordered, before looking at the curly haired boy. He seemed reluctant to have to steal someone's car, but the pre-teen relented. He nodded his head confidently, before turning his glaive back into a lighter and summoning his bow.

"Hurry." He muttered, which was all Mia needed to hear before rushing towards the town of DC. The boy quickly summoned a fire arrow and letting it pierce one of the giant's skull. The monster went limp immediately after before bursting into dust. The others looked at the two teens in anger, now struggling harder to get loose.

"Hurry up Angel! I don't know how long I can keep them stuck!" Sabrina exclaimed, and Angel was able to shoot two more before the last giant broke loose. Sabrina let out a pained gasped before falling onto a knee, breathing heavily as if she ran a marathon. Angel watched as the giant charged at them with pure hatred in its eyes, and he was about to get out of the way to avoid it's attack.

But he soon realized that Sabrina wasn't moving, she looked barely conscious. The only indication she gave that she was awake was that her breath was labored, while her body was drenched from head to toe in sweat. She must've used all of her energy trying to keep the giant's in place.

Angel clenched his fists, and with a quick burst of speed he dashed forward and pushed Sabrina out of the way. But he wasn't quick enough, as the giant managed to get a long cut on the child's back with his long unclipped toe nails.

God that was nasty just thinking about it.

The champion grunted in pain as he landed on his side, with Sabrina right next to him. She seemed to be too tired to even realize the suggestive position they were currently in, and neither did Angel as he did his best to quickly get on his feet and drag Sabrina far away from the giant's path.

It seemed like the two sisters took care of all the other monsters that were around, leaving the lone giant to flare his nostrils at the boy.

"Don't care for Kronos. Kill mortal." He growled, as Angel slowly walked away from Sabrina before staring at the giant dead in the eyes. He stood in front of the giant fearlessly, the fire in his pupils burning lively. He felt adrenaline pump through his veins, giving him strength he didn't think he had left.

"KILL WHO KILLED BROTHERS!" The giant roared, charging at the boy with his club in hand. Angel ran straight for him with no weapons in hand, which made the giant grin triumphally.

"I WIN!" He yelled as he smashed his club down onto the boy. But Angel saw it coming, he could see by how the monsters muscle tensed just before throwing his club down. The champion of Hestia quickly grabbed his lighter from his pocket as he rolled under the club, using the shock wave the impact left behind to propel himself forward towards the giant's exposed chest. He then quickly lit his lighter, transforming into his glaive and stabbing the giant right where his heart would be.

The giant could only gape in horror and pain as he slowly looked down at the demigod, who with a sickening 'sshkk' sound pulled out his glaive from the chest of the monster.

"I...hate you." The giant barely murmured out, before he too exploded into golden dust. Angel was left covered in its remains, using his glaive to balance himself up right as he caught his breath.

He could barely feel his arms by how tired he was from swinging and stabbing his glaive repeatedly, and his headache only became worse as the rush of adrenaline left his body. He also felt his stomach muscles sore and bruised from the blunt hit with a club, he was just glad he hadn't eaten anything recently.

"Sabrina...?" He asked softly, slowly turning around to see her now leaning on the warehouse they were just hiding in, grinning widely.

"You...tough son of a bitch." She said with a weak chuckle.

"You can handle yourself." Angel gave a shaky smile.

"Told you." They both shared a quick laugh, before they heard howls of hellhounds. Their cheerful victory quickly turned serious, as they reluctantly got their figurative shit together and readied their weapons. But before anything could come running out of the forest, they watched as a small Toyota Camaro came speeding towards them before stopping. (A/N: I swear this isn't like a sponsor or anything, although pretty sure you can't do that here anyway.)

"Hey you two, need a lift?" Mia asked as she lowered her window, grinning happily. But her grin dropped as she saw the condition her sister and the newcomer were in, with Angel looking like he just run over by a bulldozer or something.

"Wow, I missed a lot huh?" No one said anything as Sabrina got in the passenger seat, and Angel in the back.

"Just shut up and drive please." The French braided girl grumbled, who's hair was now messy and full of leaves and twigs.

"Yes ma'am." Mia answered quickly, not needing being told twice.

"So um, can we go down south of DC? I left my bike down there." Angel mumbled, and Sabrina groaned before adjusting the rear view mirror to look at him with her dark brown eyes.

"I swear kid if we see a bike with a water bottle attached to the wheel I'm going to kill you." (A/N: For those who don't know, putting an empty water bottle on top of a bicycle wheel while riding makes a similar sound a motorcycle would when on the road.)

"It's not I promise." Angel grumbled in annoyance. Why couldn't they just believe he had a motorcycle? They all heard the howl of hellhounds grow louder, and Sabrina looked at her sister anxiously.

"We need to hurry and get out of the city. Who knows how long till monsters track our scent again."

"Already on it. Should be in the south side of DC in like 10 minutes." Mia responded, before speeding through the capitol like a mad woman.

Is this what Hephaestus meant when he said women shouldn't drive? He remembered the god mentioned something like that while he worked on his motorcycle. Angel didn't pay much mind to him though, if he had to be honest he couldn't care less about that.

"Angel, how's your forehead?" Sabrina asked as she looked back into the back seat, only to see Angel looking in his backpack for something,

"Hmm? Oh, well I guess bandages wouldn't hurt." He muttered distractedly, not looking up from inside his backpack.

"You sure you don't want some ambrosial? Or nectar? it'll heal your wounds real quick." Mia asked while looking at the rear view mirror.

"NO!" Angel exclaimed, surprising both sisters with his outburst. Honestly he surprised himself, he almost forgot what Hestia had told him years ago.

That nectar and ambrosia was made by the gods, for the gods. If a mortal tried to eat or drink it, they would literally burn from the inside and combust. Demigods can have it occasionally, but too much would cause the same reaction. Even with his powers and Hestia's blessing, it wouldn't be enough to protect him.

Angel let out a nervous cough as he scratched his cheek.

"I mean, no it's okay. I wouldn't want to waste it when my wounds aren't life threatening."

"If you say so." Mia said with a shrug, before focusing on the road ahead.

'The kids does have a point.' Sabrina thought to herself.

'The food and drink of the gods should be saved for emergencies only. But why did he react like that?' She couldn't help but rack her brain around it, but her thoughts were interrupted when a soda can was shoved in her face. She noticed it was Angel who was offering it to her, while drinking one of his own.

"Here, I got one for Mia too if you want." He muttered, and seeing as he was drinking it too she didn't see the problem from taking a sip.

"Thanks." Sabrina muttered weakly, as she accepted the drink. To be honest she was ecstatic to have a soda for the first time in, who knows how long. She left one for her sister in the cup holder before opening her and taking a sip, and she let out a small groan as it went down her throat.

"You okay?" Angel asked worriedly, and the brown haired teen simply waved him off.

"I'm fine. Just...it's been awhile since I had one of these is all." Angel couldn't help but let a small smile form on his face. But it didn't last long as the hellhound howls continued to echo through out the city, but the people around them didn't seem to be bothered by it.

Strange. Maybe it's just a normal occurrence around here.

Or maybe there's other more powerful beings at play, and the teens were simply just unaware.

"Anyone want a lunchable?" Angel asked innocently, grabbing one from inside his backpack and showing it off to the two sisters.

Mia quickly drove out of the capitol of the United States, although she did attract some attention to herself as her driving wasn't exactly the safest. It seemed not cops were called however. Odd, considering this was the capitol. But they weren't about to start complaining.

In that time. Sabrina took the chance to clean Angel's wound on his forehead, which was a little awkward for her to do since he was sitting in the back. She ended up wrapping a white cloth over the wound so it wouldn't get infected, and his curls hung over the cloth. His hair was almost long enough to cover his eyes, which annoyed the pre-teen.

He could really go for a haircut.

He told her that he also got a cut on his back, but being in the front seat made it hard for her to reach so she decided to wait until they were safe to tend to it. The French braided girl also cleaned and covered her sisters cut on her arm, which caused her to wince and also crash. The wound was worse than it actually looked, the monster managed to almost cut to her bone.

Luckily she could still use her gun with her other hand, but the daughter of love still had to be careful. One wrong move, and she could permanently damage her arm.

Pretty soon Angel directed them to where he camped the night before, he did his best to memorize the area so he would recognize it coming back.

"Hey stop here." Angel said, causing the tall black haired teen to step on the brakes and bring the car to stop at the side of the road. As soon as it did, Angel quickly stepped out and ran towards the forest ahead.

"I'll be back in a minute!" He called out before disappearing through the forest line, and Mia sighed before relaxing in her seat.

"How much you wanna bet he's going to bring back a real motorcycle?" Mia asked giving her sister a side glance. Sabrina simply scoffed and rested her elbow on the side of the door.

"Pfff, yeah right. You think a prepubescent child is going to have a motorcycle?" She asked, and Mia shrugged.

"$10 says you're wrong."

"Deal." Sabrina answered with a smirk, this was going to be the easiest $10 of her life. Her thoughts were quickly interrupted however when they heard the howls of hellhounds once more, but this time it sounded way too close to be ignored.

"Great." Mia grumbled, before looking at the rear view mirror. Sure enough, there was a pack of hellhounds snarling at their car at a fair distance. The teen simply flicked her earing, summoning her gun once again.

"Well at least it'll make for good target practice."

"Wait, something's off about them." Sabrina muttered, turning around to actually face the hellish canines.

"They seem to be...observing us."

"Another reason to shoot them. I hate being watched." Mia remarked before stepping out the car with her Glock out. The hellhounds took notice of this, and barked at her a bit before retreating into the forest.

"Looks like they're headed towards Angel. We should go help him."

"Nah, the kid can kill a couple of stray dogs." Sabrina answered distractedly, remembering the straight up brawl they all had not 15 minutes ago. She was impressed, but also concerned at the same time. For a kid he knew he way around his weapon.

"We should still stay alert though, they could come back to try to catch us off guard." Mia nodded in agreement, deciding to face towards the forest and lean against the car. She stared at the trees for a moment, looking exactly where Angel had disappeared in. A sad thought lingered in her mind, the sensible part kept nagging her of the future plans the sisters had.

She couldn't keep her mouth shut about it anymore, she needed to say something.

"Sabrina, I think we should tell him the truth." Mia muttered, getting the attention of her sister.

"I don't think I'll be able to lie to his face after how he helped us out."

"We can't tell him Mia, you heard what he said. He's after the flower too. He'll either not want to help us, or go behind our backs." Sabrina remarked with narrowed eyes, and Mia turned to look at her.

"But that's exactly what we're doing Sabrina! This isn't right, We can't-"

"What are the two things that have kept us alive for so long Mia?" Sabrina asked in a dangerous tone, and Mia averted her gaze.

"Tell me." The French braided teen insisted, and Mia sighed sadly.

"Never be honest. Never be gullible." The daughter of Aphrodite recited, and Sabrina nodded.

"You know what's at stake, we can't a single kid get in the way of that."

"I know." Mia murmured softly, allowing her gun to return to an earing and grabbing her injured arm gingerly. She was already growing a guilty conscious, even though she hasn't technically done anything to the boy yet. But it was inevitable.

Mia was broken out of her train of thought when she heard a purr of a motor, and both she and Sabrina turned to look towards the forest line. There they saw Angel slowly make himself visible, grinning proudly while riding a black dirt bike. Sabrina looked t him mouth agape, and Mia simply smirked before turning to face her sister.

She hoped her small victory over her brown haired sibling would stop the nagging her subconscious was giving her, telling her what she was doing was wrong.

Spoilers, it doesn't.

"Pay up loser." Sabrina grumbled softly under her breath before looking away all annoyed.

"I don't have money."

"Oh, right. Neither do I."

"So, which one of you lucky ladies want a ride on this beauty?" Angel spoke up as he got close, revving his bikes engine for dramatic points. Unfortunately his attempt to look cool backfired as the bike lifted itself up, almost flipping itself over. Angel was quick to stop it from doing so, but it took him awhile to get it back on the ground.

"Hehe...Oops." He chuckled with a nervous smile.

"...Yeah, I think I'll pass." Sabrina muttered, trying her best not to laugh. Mia wasn't as successful however, and Angel's face began bright red in embarrassment.

"Just follow behind us. And please, don't kill yourself on that thing." She said before getting in the car, with Mia doing the same.

"I won't!" he exclaimed as the Mia started the engine, giving him the bird through the window as she drove away.

"She did not just..." Angel mumbled in disbelief, before revving his engine once more and taking off after them.

Unknown to any of the teens, the hellhounds stood at the side of the forest, watching intently as they all drove away.

Cache River, Illinois

Hecate watched through the eyes of her hellhounds, smirking a little to herself as she watched the little champion of Hestia drive away with his two new demigod friends. From her hut she could see almost anything she pleases, her manipulation over the mist was just that powerful. That only applied to the mortal world however, as Olympus, the Roman and Greek demigod camps had barriers that the mist couldn't travel through.

Which honestly made her choices very limited, as the mortals themselves were very boring to watch. But there were those few who were labeled as psychopaths or serial killers. Now those mortals were interesting for the goddess of magic to watch, which each generation these people become more and more creative with how they murder innocent lives.

But this boy, this adopted child of Hestia, he was different to any mortal she'd witnessed. There was more to him then just the blessing Hestia bestowed upon him, there's also something else underneath. But she couldn't quite tell what it was, and it infuriated her. She wanted to know what the boy was hiding. She needed to know.

A powerful potion can be made out of almost any ingredients and the right touch of godly power. The tricky part was knowing what to mix with together. A simple reagent can turn a potion into one that heals, to one that kills you slowly and painfully. She wondered, what sort of potion could be made of the essence of that young boy.

She has done it before, use the souls of her followers to make all kinds of powerful elixirs. Be it a demigod, mortal, empousa or even a hellhound. She has also gotten her hands on at least one demigod from every god, hiding it from the world to test all sorts of possibilities. It's a cruel and agonizing process she will admit, but it's all for the purpose of discovering newer and better magic!

A child of Hestia however, he's the first of his kind. The kinds of potions she could make, the elixirs she could conjure up, the spells she could create! It's what kept her up at night, it's what made her decide to go behind the titan lords back. She knew Echidna would be stupid enough to be manipulated into helping her, all they needed to do was capture the boy.

Her plan was slowly getting into motion, all they needed was for the boy to return to his 'safe bubble'. Once he did they could strike, but until then she's playing it quietly.

Ah, but just the thought of cutting open his skin to take a sample of his blood, or cutting a piece of his tongue out to see what kind of potion she could make with it. It gave her a sense of euphoria, a strange feeling that she couldn't help but bite her lower lip in anticipation.

The screams of the mortals she experimented on, that was her favorite.

She wondered, would he be easy to crack? Or would he resist the pain for days, weeks, months even? Before eventually giving in and screaming for mommy? She wondered what his scream would be like. Small and quiet? Loud and high pitched? Manly groans and loud grunts? She really hoped he was the latter.

'Run around while you can, little rabbit.' Hecate murmured with a soft moan as she bit her pinky finger, all the while watching the boy ride his dirt bike.

'I like to play with my prey, before delivering the final blow...'
