Hey guys! As usual keep voting! Let me know what you guys think I should do-if I should make this one giant story or do each book and have it as sequels because as I've said I'm onto the Sea of Monsters plot and I have things planned out for the next few books worth of the story as to how it'll work.
Also, just preparing you guys in advance, I do like Bianca and I get why she joined the hunters but it was a very selfish thing to do and I think that if she hadn't died then Nico would have probably been angry at her rather than Percy.
Also, in later Chapters of this story Sally Jackson is just like; "You're a poor child who needs a family? You come here and let me hug you, do you like cookies, have a cookie. Where's the adoption papers honey?" because Sally Jackson is just like the ultimate mother figure. She cannot be surpassed.

When they reached the dining area, an outdoor pavilion in white Grecian columns on a hill overlooking the sea. There were a dozen stone picnic tables, and when the Hermes Cabin arrived most of them were filled up-other than four, Zeus, Hera's, Poseidon's and one Percy assumed must belong to one of the virgin Goddesses.

Annabeth was at the sixth table, and Percy wondered who her Godly parent was-she hadn't thought to ask before, but she was sat with a bunch of kids who looked a lot like her.

She spotted her mom, sat at the twelfth table talking to Grover.

Mr. D was there too, with a couple of plump blond boys who looked like Mr. D.

Percy couldn't help but notice that a lot of the campers were staring at her and Luke, the Ares Cabin specifically were glaring at her fiercely-if looks could kill she'd be in the Underworld probably running away from her uncle who wanted to brutally murder her and had sent his head torturers to do so already-not a nice thought.

She pushed it away when Alabaster elbowed her gently as they sat.

Luke was up near the top end with Travis and Connor, Percy was at the bottom end-and she couldn't help but notice that Cabin elevens table was so crammed that she was barely able to fit on the bench.

Alabaster must have noticed that she was hanging off the edge because he shot her a sympathetic look, "Wanna switch places?"

"I-" Percy hesitated, "Really?"

"Sure." he grinned at her, looking amused, "C'mon." he nudged her until she shuffled out from her spot and he slid off the bench, lightly pushing her so that she was sat down between him and a young son of Hermes, who gave her wide eyed look before he turned to talk to the girl on his other side.

She turned her head to look at Alabaster again, giving him a grateful smile, "Thank you."

"Don't be ridiculous, there's nothing to thank me for."

Percy would disagree, but she decided against arguing, she was wedged quite tightly between Alabaster and the younger boy but it was better than being sat with her butt half off the edge of the bench.

Clearly they'd been waiting for Hermes' Cabins arrival because once everyone was sat Chiron pounded his hoof against the marble floor of the pavilion, and everybody fell silent. He raised a glass. "To the Gods!"

Everybody else raised their glasses Percy smiling as she did. "To the Gods!"

Wood nymphs came forward with platters of food: grapes, apples, strawberries, cheese, fresh bread and barbecue.
Alabaster leaned into her side, whispering, "Just tell the drink whatever you want and it'll fill up, y'know as long as it's not alcohol."

"Thanks." Percy whispered back.

It was nice having someone to help-sure she knew about the Gods and monsters but that didn't mean she knew exactly how Camp worked yet-she'd been living in the mortal world her entire life.

"Blue cherry coke." Percy grinned as the glass filled up with a violently blue sparkling liquid, and Percy took a sip, grinning at the taste-it was almost exactly as it was at home when she decided she wanted her drinks to all be blue.

"Blue?" Alabaster raised an eyebrow, a grin playing across his lips.

"It's an inside joke with my mom and brother." Percy admitted, leaning forward and peering over the table to Luke-and he was leaning forward and he met her eyes, lifting a glass filled with blue liquid in a silent toast that made her giggle.

Then she put her glass down, eagerly loading her plate-and hey she was a growing girl okay? She ignored the wide eyes looks some of the Hermes Campers gave her, and even Alabaster raised an eyebrow before shrugging.

"Probably a good thing for you to load up your plate." he admitted, "In a second we have to go to the fire and put some of the food into it."

Percy paused before nodding slowly, "Uh, burnt offerings right?"

"Yeah." Alabaster grinned, "They like the smell."

"Sounds weird but okay." Percy stood up as everyone else did, sticking with the son of Hecate as they made their way up to the fire.

Alabaster moved up to it first, scraping part of his meal into the fire and muttering, "Hecate."

Then it was Percy's turn and she scraped a good portion of her food into the fire, closing her eyes. If he was a God surely he could hear her thoughts.

I love you. I love you father, just tell me what to do. Please. I won't tell anyone you're my father, it's safer you're right I just... tell me what to do. Please.

Then she opened her eyes, letting out a breath, and she caught a whiff of the smoke- it smelled nothing like burning food. It smelled of hot chocolate and fresh-baked brownies, hamburgers on the grill and wildflowers, and a hundred other good things that shouldn't have gone well together, but did.

She felt Alabaster's hand on her arm and she stepped away, moving back to the table and slipping onto the bench again, and she ate her meal quickly-the food was all delicious-though Percy would unashamedly declare that her moms food was better any day of the week.

Once everyone had finished eating Mr. D stood up with a huge sigh. "Yes, I suppose I'd better say hello to all you brats. Well, hello. Our activities director, Chiron, says the next capture the flag is Friday. Cabin five presently holds the laurels."

A bunch of ugly cheering rose from the Ares table.

"Personally," Mr. D continued, "I couldn't care less, but congratulations. Also, I should tell you that we have two new Campers today, and a mortal staying here." he rolled his eyes, "Liam Johnson and Penny Johnson along with their mother Sidney Johnson."

Alabaster snorted, rolling his eyes as Chiron muttered something to the God,who rolled his eyes, "Fine. Luke Jackson, Percy Jackson and Sally Jackson. That's right. Hurrah, and all that. Now run along to your silly campfire. Go on."

Everybody cheered and headed down toward the amphitheater, where Apollo's cabin led a sing-along, singing camp songs about the gods. Percy ended up wedged between Luke, who had slipped in beside her, and Alabaster who hadn't really left her side since he'd first introduced himself.

It was nice, Percy could see her mom sat across the fire with Chiron, smiling widely as she joined in too.

Percy knew that it probably wouldn't last long, but she felt at peace in Camp, and when the time came to sleep she slept the whole night away without any nightmares.

The next days passed in a blur.

Every morning Percy and Luke had Ancient Greek classes with Annabeth-who Percy had been startled to learn was a daughter of Athena.

Luke had had to stop her from outright asking the blonde how the hell that even worked. Of course Percy was somewhat weary of the whole rivalry between Poseidon and Athena but she quite liked Annabeth honestly and it didn't seem to be affecting their slowly forming friendship, though Percy knew it might if Annabeth found out just who Percy's father was-and Percy was proud of the fact that she was doing okay in the lesson-though Luke was definitely doing better between the two of them, and the rest of the day was always spent doing physical activities, rotating between them.

Percy knew of course, that people were watching her specifically-Luke was a son of Hermes, that was cool and all but nothing special, but no one knew who Percy's father was.

It was blatantly obvious fairly quickly that she wasn't an Apollo kid-she'd been banned from Archery practise on her first attempt and Chiron had needed help to de-snag an arrow from his tail, she wasn't as fast as most of the Hermes kids, or as strong as the Ares kids.

She definitely wasn't smart like the Athena kids or good with plants like the Demeter and Dionysus kids.
She was good at the canoeing of course-but she held back and let others beat her so that they didn't make any connections between her skills and water.

The only thing she proved to be really good at was sword fighting-and after their first fight word had gotten around, and when she and Luke next sparred they had an audience that included her mom and Chiron.

She had to admit she enjoyed the pride she felt as she and Luke had fought again-Luke won the second time, and the third and fourth, though Percy had won their fifth bout before Chiron had stepped in and given them both incredibly proud looks, declaring that they were both very skilled with sword fighting-he'd even asked Luke if he'd be willing to help out with sword lessons, and Luke had jumped at the chance, as long as Percy could help him.

Percy had felt so proud at that, and so every day she and Luke helped other kids with their sword skills.

Percy also got the chance to talk to Grover on her first full day in Camp, when he'd told her about his... for the lack of a better word, career goals, which were put on hold because Grover hadn't actually gotten Percy to Camp safely.

She did feel kind of guilty for that, and she'd given Grover a quiet apology-though he'd brushed it off with a forced smile and told her not to worry about it.

Then there was Alabaster.

The older boy had taken her under his wing in a sense, he tended to show up after her lessons with Annabeth and stick around for most of the day.

Luke didn't exactly like that, Percy realized that much, she'd caught her big brother watching the son of Hecate with narrowed eyes-but then again he was very protective and he was Percy's first male friend who didn't also happen to be a Satyr.

Percy of course just ignored her big brothers protective streak-Alabaster was nice and she had to admit he was helping her settle in a lot. He'd even tried to comfort her when she'd had her epic failure of an archery lesson-besides Luke was getting busier anyway with giving sword lessons to the younger campers-Percy helped out at least once a day but Luke was constantly getting pestered by younger campers and Percy could hardly spend all day just sword fighting, as fun as that might be.

When Friday finally came Percy was excited-Capture the Flag sounded insanely fun, and it would be great to actually go against other campers properly rather than sparring just against Luke and training the younger campers.

The days seemed to race past, and soon enough dinner came and went, and the conch horn-used to announce things every day-and honestly it was one of her less cool powers that told her it was a conch horn, any sound produced by something from the sea and she could identify what caused it.

When the horn sounded everyone stood up, plates already cleared away, and everyone cheered as Annabeth and two of her siblings ran into the pavilion carrying a silk banner. It was about ten feet long, glistening gray, with a painting of a barn owl above an olive tree. From the opposite side of the pavilion, Clarisse and her buddies ran in with another banner, of identical size, but gaudy red, painted with a bloody spear and a boar's head.

"Definitely prefer the Athena Cabins flag." Percy whispered the words to Alabaster, who snorted.

"It's better made than the Ares cabins."

"Are they always the leaders?"

"Not always but usually," Alabaster shrugged, "Their parents are both the Gods of war so they have a kind of rivalry I guess you could say."

"What happens when we get the flag?"

"You seem confident."

"What can I say, I know my skills." Percy grinned, "And Athena's the Goddess of battle strategy, Annabeth's our leader this
time right? No way is she gonna be out thought by Clarisse."

Alabaster snorted, "I guess, she's pretty sly, I dunno how much I trust her. She's the type of person to throw you under the bus to get glory."

"Hey." Percy frowned, "That's mean 'Bas."

"Sorry." Alabaster gave a slightly guilty look, "I know she's your friend or whatever."

"She is." Percy shook her head, "Kind of."

"I don't wanna argue. Let's just enjoy Capture the Flag yeah?"

"Yeah." Percy nodded, "Yeah I'd like that." she smiled slowly, "Let's go and kick some ass."
