The King of Gallia

The guests, being that of the Greil Mercenaries and their newfound laguz friends, were on their way to Zarzi, Castle Gallia. As Lethe and Mordecai led them through the Gallian grasses, the Greil Mercenaries worked hard to battle the Daein soldiers that were blocking their path.

Back at Castle Gallia, King Caineghis was warned by his nephew Skrimir that the mercenaries were arriving with the leading help of Lethe and Mordecai.

"Send them straight in when they arrive, Skrimir." Caineghis ordered.

"Yes, Uncle Caineghis. Your request is my pleasure." Skrimir said.

Time would pass, but the Greil Mercenaries finally arrived at Zarzi. Skrimir was waiting for them at the entrance of the castle.

"Skrimir," Lethe began to speak, "these are the Greil Mercenaries from what I have been told. This is their leader, Ike. As ordered by the king, you have told me and Mordecai to bring him here."

"Yes, Lethe." Skrimir said. "The king correctly ordered that."

"So, we followed the orders of the king and brought them here to Zarzi." Mordecai said.

"Perfect." Skrimir said. "Just follow me into the throne room."

The mercenaries started to follow Skrimir to the throne room. Then, Elincia saw Ike after a long time.

"I heard about what happened to Commander Greil, Ike…" Elincia said. "Tell me, are you getting through to it?"

"Yeah. We're getting through to it." Ike said. "Somehow… I mean, Soren went out of control on the laguz." Caineghis overheard Ike.

"Out of control on the laguz, huh?" Caineghis asked. "Hope this wasn't my laguz Lethe and Mordecai. After all, they are my most trusted people along with Kyza and Lyre!"

"Actually, Your Majesty, it was." Ike said honestly. "We are terribly sorry for all the trouble we have caused to your people. We have lost our commander recently from a fatal battle he got into, and he couldn't handle it anymore."

"Greil, huh?" Caineghis thought. "Ah… the old man… How he served the Gallian countryside as a mercenary long ago…"

"You knew my father?" Ike asked.

"Of course, I knew your dad, Ike. After all, he served as a mercenary here on Gallian soil. And you and Mist were born right here in Gallia."

Titania then asked Ike if he remembered any of the stuff Caineghis was saying. "Not really, Titania." Ike said. "I don't recall anything the king is saying. I can't even recall how he even knows my own gosh darn name."

Caineghis laughed. "It's alright, Ike. Most people forget when they are teenagers. Now, come, Ike. Let me get rooms set for you and the mercenaries."

Ike said no without warning. After Titania asked why, Ike said that he was going to give it his all to avenge his father and kill the wretched and harsh Black Knight.

"Ike, you can't do that!" Titania exclaimed.

"I have to show that nutcase I'm against extreme meanies like him!" Ike said. "For my father and for my family tree. Your Majesty, thank you for your time."

"No problem, Ike." Caineghis said. For Ike's first stop, he wanted to head off to the Begnion Empire, the largest nation in all of Tellius. The journey to kill the Black Knight was about to begin.
