Natsu POV

I was so glad that Elizabeth had reunited with Lisanna, but she hasn't left yet even after Mother's Day. I thought when she came down here she would only probably stay for a day or two, but it's been about four weeks. I wonder why she hasn't left yet, but I just had to let it go. I'm surprised Lucy isn't bothered by her presents being here. Usually, it would be weird for your ex-wife to be here in the place with your girlfriend. They both seem to get along though. I just don't want Lisanna to cause Lucy and I to break up.

I was in the gym at my mansion working out. I was lifting weights and all of a sudden Lisanna comes into the room. "Hey!" she greeted. I looked at her and was trying to balance my breathing. "What's up Lis?" I asked her knowing she wanted to ask me something. "I was wondering if you, I, and Elizabeth could all go to the festival tonight?" she smiled. "What type of festival is it?" I asked her. "It's the Magnolia Festival, remember we go almost every year, we've been taking Elizabeth since she was a baby," she reminded me. I forgot it was all week. "So I was asking if you'd like to join us?" she smiled. "Sure!" I said. "Lucy can come along if she'd like," she mumbled. "I wish she could come, but I gave her a break because she does deserve it," I said.

"Yeah she's been here for Elizabeth when I should have been here," she sadly said. "I will ask her when she comes back," I smiled. I actually want to hang out with Luce at the festival and have it as a memory. "Where exactly did Lucy go?" she asked me. "I don't know exactly she probably went back to go visit her parents or to go see her brother," I said. "Might? What that supposed to mean? You don't know what your girlfriend is doing? She could be doing anything with anybody," she exaggerated. "Lis she wouldn't be doing non of that, no offense but she is not you," I backfired. She seemed taken back by my sudden comment. "What do you mean by me I wasn't cheating on you with anybody," she tried to cover up. "Lis I used to be in love with you until you found interest in some actor who played a creepy role in kids show with his blocks he calls baby to repeat anything and emphasize the words," I exclaimed. "Don't talk about Bixslow like that," she growled. "What did you see in him that you didn't see in me?" I curiously asked. "I just fell in love all over again because he was always there for me, nice, generous, protective, I got into a couple of arguments with him, but it was me falling in love all over again," she explained.

"So you're trying to say I never treated you like a woman who was supposed to be treated?" I asked her with my head down. "Natsu, I'm not trying to say that, it's just that you were always focused on your career, and you acted like a boy sometimes," she said. "Really! So would a boy treat a woman the way they're supposed to be treated, would a boy abandon his girlfriend and future daughter at the age of 16, would a boy not focus on his education, would a boy not spend time trying to provide for his family, would a boy not try his best to at have a bigger family?" I asked her as she started tearing up.

Lisanna POV

I started tearing up because he was right. He could have left me when I told him I was pregnant with Elizabeth. Most fathers at that age don't stay with the girl when they hear she's pregnant. He wasn't the best in school, but he tried to get good grades and he also got a job working at the gym just so he could provide for Elizabeth and me. He did want to have more kids with me, but sometimes it wouldn't be the right time.

I fell in love with Bixslow and we started going out in secret and having an affair. I loved Bixslow so I decided to move with him and leave everything behind. The thing that always bothered me in the relationship was that I still was in love with Natsu. I could never get him out of my mind even when I tried to. Whenever I had sex with Bixslow I would try my best not to say Natsu's name. That had failed and Bickslow was upset so we decided we were going to go to therapy. He pulled me into a hug. For some reason, I wanted to kiss him on the lips. He let go of me and said: "I'll be ready by tonight,".

Hours passed it was almost nighttime. Elizabeth and I were getting ready to head out. For some reason, I couldn't decide on any dress wear. I want to look like I'm not trying too hard so I just put on some brown shorts, a white shirt, long brown boots, and a green sweater around my waist.

I left the guest room and walked downstairs to see Natsu and Elizabeth looking at each other for a long time. "What are you two doing?" I asked them both. "We're trying to see who can keep their eyes open for a long period of time," Natsu explained without blinking. "Well you guys can do that later we have to go to the Spring Festival!" I said as they stopped what they were doing and walked out the door. We started to walk to the car and go from there with it. This feels great it's like we're a family again. My phone started to buzz and I took it out to see it was Bixslow. He texted 'When are you coming back home?'. I didn't want to go back yet. I wanted to spend more time with Elizabeth and try to see if there was anything between Natsu and me.

We went to get something to eat mostly. Elizabeth mostly wanted to ride rides, but I told her she couldn't eat too much and ride at the same time. She decided to do the rides first then eat. She was on a ride that was meant for kids like her. I saw Natsu smiling when he saw how much fun Elizabeth was having. She was riding a dragon ride. I don't know why the Dragneels find so much interest in dragons, I think it's because of the name if you think about it.

"Hey I'm glad that you came here tonight instead of being stuck in the gym like you usually are," I said rubbing his arm to try and make a move. He was taken back on it and seemed nervous. "Lis I'm usually not like that I am most of the time spending time with Elizabeth or hanging with Lucy if she free," he exclaimed smiling when he mentioned Lucy's name. "I can see, but I'm glad you came, but sadly I'll have to go again back home," I said. "You could just come to visit to see Elizabeth," he suggested. "That would be a great idea, I'll try to do it on holidays and actual free time," I smiled. We started to laugh a little for some reason and we looked into each other's eyes and for some reason, I leaned in and kissed him on the lips.

The kiss lasted for a couple of seconds until Lucy had seen us. She was dressed in traditional attire. Honestly she looks very pretty. There was a woman right beside her that looked actually like it was her twin. "Lucy!" Natsu surprisingly said but in a nervous type of way. Tears were flowing down her face and she ran off into the crowd. Natsu had run off too into the crowd calling her name out. I felt heartbroken because that means if he was going after her he didn't have feelings for me.

Natsu POV

It happens so quickly I didn't expect her to kiss me. The thing that surprised me was I didn't have old feelings rushing back to me as I thought was gonna happen. It broke my heart when Lucy saw the whole thing. She must have thought I was cheating on her. I ran after her in the crowd calling her name. I kept trying to get through the crowd when finally she had stopped and walked off into an area. She went off into the forest and was walking. I decided to follow her because I didn't want her going all alone. There were perverts out here and whoever does anything to her is gonna wish for a deathbed instead of me. I couldn't find her anywhere and just started yelling out her name hoping she would respond, but she never did. I wonder where she could have gone. I decided to keep on looking for her. I finally found her right next to a small pond with fish swimming around. She was crying and shaking.

"Lucy," I quietly said. I walk closer to her and touched her on the shoulder. It took a while, but she finally looked back at me and she looked mad. Within a second she punched me in the gut. I tugged on to my stomach because I didn't see that coming. I know she mad at me, but I love this woman. "You know if you were still in love with Lisanna your dumbass self could have told me," she sternly said. "Look here I wasn't the one who invited Lisanna here, that was all you," I blamed it on her. "Because you were too stubborn to let her reunite with her mother," she came back. "Yeah, cause I don't want her getting hurt like she did the last time," I crossed my arms. "Or is it because you were still in love with Lisanna? I'm starting to have a feeling that it wasn't just you not want her to hurt Elizabeth again; I think it was you too because you were holding a grudge this whole time since she's been here," she exclaimed. "Luce I'm don't love Lisanna," I disagreed with her.

"Natsu I know that Lisanna was your first with everything and I won't be able to top that. First loves are the ones that always you still love even when you say you're over them. The first is the souls and seconds are just somebody that is there to pick up the pieces," she said. I got nervous because I hope she wasn't saying what I think she was saying. "Are you trying to say that you want to break up?" I asked her as she looked away from me. "Natsu I love you but like I said I don't think I can top Lisanna. I honestly don't want to break up with you, but I think it's for the best," she said.

"Lucy can we just take a break instead... I don't want to lose you," I paused. Tears were threatening to come down but I couldn't let them. I had to be strong. I won't lose Lucy. I love her and someday hope for her to be more than my girlfriend. But they say in every good relationship there are always obstacles that come through along with it.
