Chapter 17- Do You Want to Know a Secret.
Summer flew by and Lily and James continued to write to each other everyday Lily had gotten her Hogwarts letter and was very excited when she was named Head Girl. Lily wrote to James immediately about the good news that she had been chosen as Head Girl. Lily wasn't sure who had gotten the Head Boy position as James had wrote that Remus didn't get it all Lily could hope for was that it was someone who she could bare to work with.
As September first rolled around Lily was standing on platform 9 and 3 quarters for the last time and she couldn't help but feel a bit sad as it would be their last time getting on the Hogwarts Express and going to Hogwarts for their final year. Lily found Mary and Marlene and they found a compartment all three of them were discussing their summers when the topic of Head Boy came up and it was at this moment the Marauders came into their compartment hearing the question about Head Boy they decided to have some fun with it.
James (Sirius and Remus)

"Leave it up to the marauders to sing about a big secret they have." Marlene said sarcastically.
"What's the secret that you want to tell us?" Mary asked
With that James reached into his robes and pulled out a shiny badge that had the letters HB on it.
"You got Head Boy James?" Marlene asked
"Yes, he did!" Sirius shouted
"Why didn't you tell me James?" Lily asked as she threw herself around her boyfriend.
"I wanted to surprise you." James responded looking into Lily's eyes. "And Sirius thought it would be better if we revealed it like this."
They all spent the rest of the train ride talking and discussing how their summers were and all the plans that they had for seventh year and in that moment, they were all happy on their last train ride to Hogwarts.
