In Lena's secret lair, Alex has gathered Nia, Mon-El, Imra, Brainy and Winn together. The Danvers member had shown her friends a recorded voice of Lena's, explaining on the things she did, something so crucial that it really hit everyone when they heard it.
After listening to the audio tape, Mon-El stumbled back a step, shaking. The latter is twined in support by Winn and Imra. "It can't be real. It can't be real. It can't", Mon-El repeated, honing down into a sap of sadness.
"I didn't want to believe it too, Mon-El. But going through it, pained me, in who knows what kind of hell I'm in, to realise it this is all true. Everything she mentioned is in this device", said Alex, holding up a small device.
"This can't be real, Alex. All these facts have to be fake! There's no way J'onn would zap a mind-erasure on all our heads! And there's no way there could be a real Supergirl existing, because if she was, then she should've contacted us!", Mon-El shouted. Along his distress, he clenched his fist, dabbing into his anger. Knowing the anger will just blond him, Mon-El slightly reduces the urge of releasing everything out of him. He uplifts his head, staring at Alex. "That is not what's important. Right now, we need to find our friends before that cyborg metal kills every last one of us".
As Mon-El made his newly order, he looks at everyone, sliding into his allies' faces. He then turned to a direction of where there's space. He walks ahead, driving off. He leaves his friends, trying to ignore the information he was presented.
With Mon-El gone, Imra walks out, having the consideration of giving some comfort over her ex-husband.
Brainy, once gazed at the subsequent draws of Mon-El and Imra leaving, turned back to focus on the device Alex is holding. "Would you mind if I can analyse that?", Brainy asked, subsequently receiving a nod from Alex as she gives him the drive. Brainy examines with an added use of zooming in to observe. "I'll take it back at the D.E.O., and scan for anything that can efficiently provide us the wellspring advantage over our issues". He then looked at it again, springing another thought. "This does have all the files downloaded from Lena's computer, has it?".
Alex nodded.
Nia rolled to link her line of sight with Alex's, which she assumed the take of. "Lena mentioned multiple times of Oliver Queen and Green Arrow on the device. He seems to be heavily involved in this little secret society squad or league, or whatever they call themselves upon", said Nia.
"Well now that you've mentioned him, I'm going to have to strike my interrogation brutal way on him. I'd punch him out a million words if I had to", Alex declares.
"Let's not go for it. Remember, he's not the only one mentioned in that tape", said Winn reminding Alex.
"Sara Lance. Doesn't picture her to be apart of a secret group. She and I are friends. The issue would be she was also gone, along with Barry, Kara, and all the others", said Alex.
"May I break this down that I have been trying to scan Oliver's whereabouts using my...". Braniac mentions a part of his brain that has the capability to find people world wide. "Oliver Queen isn't in Star City. Neither is he in Central City or Coast City".
"So where is he if he's not found anywhere?", Alex making a notion of a hoisted question. Winn, Nia and Brainy traded eye-glances, pondering on an answer.
Argo City
Zor-El-Queen Residence
Two timely versions of William hold a playable conflict in a puzzling game, where each one is compelled to figure out a Kryptonese word, formed from the letters of it.
The younger William is engrossed in his go, ciphering letters in the shape of one he'd guess. As he put the remaining letters together, the outcome became a fail. It is displayed as a word of that sign. William sighed, expressing his struggle over figuring out in putting Kryptonese letters together.
It was adult William's turn. The latter places his fingers shuffling on particular letters forming together. Whilst that was going on, William moved a bit of an eye cornered on the glance of catching her past self. "For someone in your age, you do remind a lot of how stubborn and quiet I used to be", the adult remarks. "Never was the happiest times there, isn't it?".
"It never was. Because of dad", said the kid.
"Yeah, I admit, I have shown quite a releasing restraint, throwing my anger at my father; as a kid. Though, as time grew, I too grew. Time went as far as when I my version of my dad died in a insane apocalyptic crisis", William confesses to his younger self. "The burden inadvertently transformed our stepmom into a crazy Multiversal dictator, expelling havoc across infinite worlds, at a sensible account was majority. At least, she this version of our stepmom hasn't went overboard".
The information containing inside kid William is extreme to bear. He didn't know how he can imagine witnessing the death of his father, the last man that ever was left of his blood. He, in addition, could never comprehend the lengthy idea of his stepmom going rogue.
"Sometimes it's okay to be angry at our dads. They can take it, they can endure it, they had to, they had to understand our pain because that's what a father needs to feel. The perception of being so nigh to their children, whom cry and pray for someone to fill their void", said William. "In our ends, we have to make sure we put our best efforts that we build better ties with our dads. Regardless of how angry we were when we lost someone we believed were the only thing leftover in our life".
The young William slightly swirls elsewhere, keeping that as note in mind.
Light years away from Argo City...
Kara and Oliver unleashed their striving eyes, pursuing on a mission on finding Superman and Wonder Woman. It's held out on hours from the time when they left Argo City. The two had been trying to scour their prying eyes on any leftover remains of at minimum of Superman's spacecraft. They haven't found it yet. The beeline became a great delay that it came to wonder in Oliver's mind of how long they have spent in finding them.
"If this is Braniac we are dealing with, shouldn't we be very concerned about the state of Argo City?", Oliver questioned.
"I doubt Braniac would lay a finger on Argo City. Months ago, I had William modify the plate's security system, making it so strong that no invader like Braniac or Mongul would cross this bridge", Supergirl disclosed. She rotated to Oliver's side. "Didn't I already tell you that before?".
"Uh. No", Oliver answered, trying to avoid an important conversation on family matters, in spite of his fondness over family. The latter knew he forgot about it, though he doesn't know whether Kara believes him or not.
The ship flies on ahead, forwarding further. Flying in a gradual number of steps, hurling forward. Intertwining a line, Oliver spreads his eyesight over at the parts of the space background. Oliver rolls his eyes to his other sided view, seeing no remains, only stars are caught upon his eyeballs. Flying forward, they continued on course, boosting further than its normal pace.
As Kara pilots the ship, her eyes begin to fall upon the snatch of a black oval shape, displayed. "Look over there. Didn't Kal mention black hole and portal? Portals can variate in the shape of an oval", said Kara.
"The sounds do define the words that your mom mentioned", said Oliver, getting the impression that it's what they are looking for. He turns to face Kara. "We should take this cautiously. We may not know what's in there. Could be an actual black hole or a trap set by Braniac". Oliver had underwent experiences of traps, strikingly Prometheus' countless traps, even once or twice given from Deathstroke and Isabel.
"On this occasion, we're using our heads", Kara announced. She sparkled her eyes down on the numerous buttons below her face. She mixes up her finger on countless presses on specific buttons, insured for the screen, in front of her, to process. Seconds of typing, Kara and Oliver see a displayed screen showcasing an intentional way Kara can find her friends. "Thanks to William's engineering skills and my Kryptonian knowledge, we were able to create a program that can help us discover upon anything in the Multiverse we can't solve in our own brains".
"Can it help us uncover the whereabouts of Clark and Diana's or at least tell us their current status?", Oliver asked, growing a sense of worrisome in his voice.
"Undeniably, it should. It has to work", Kara declared. A few seconds right after she made a declaration regarded on the program, the screen immediately loaded a displaying visual image of an iconic Earth, labelled the name of it, along with a short description.
"So they're alive?", Oliver asked, judged from the results shown by the screen.
"They are. Only issue is they're in a parallel Earth", said Kara.
"What Universe are they in?", Oliver inquired
"According to these results...". Kara twirled to perceive Oliver. "They are in a future era of the Universe Earth-23: the year 2050", the Kryptonian addressed. "This ship hasn't been fixed to travel to different periods in a timeline. Because this Earth, we're perceiving, the current Earth of it is set in the year 2025".
"Both are way off the mark", Oliver said.
"Happens in other worlds", said Kara, twirling to a different screen. She moves her hand, swiping a transmitting signal on a screen, compelling it to show a world. "Earth-16 is set in the year 2046".
"That's new", Oliver remarked, after taking a minute to comprehend the knowledge of universes. "So how can we hop between time periods if we don't have the same features a Waverider has? The Legends could be hopping in past times, the usual. And with most of them not knowing about you, we can't take the risk of them learning your presence. And by the time we're gone, it would take hours to run back to Earth".
"Who said anything about getting help from our allies?", Kara said, getting Oliver to widen an eyebrow. Kara twirls her eyeball, turning it to the the front end of a cockpit. As Oliver followed where Kara was staring at, he realised what she meant.
"That's crazy, you know that", said Oliver.
"Either we get Diana and Kal out of whatever place they were taken, or we let them die, then have Lois and perhaps Batman barking on our asses if we don't make a move", said Kara, though apart of it sensed she jokingly meaning it.
Oliver draws a frustration breathe. He isn't so comfortable with the ideal of hopping on a portal that they may not know its exact directions, specially a portal that seems to have the same texture as an eating black hole, of which is capable to swallowing lives, instantly taking theirs away. He does trust Kara, but in situations that might lead to their deaths, it would kill them. Oliver isn't afraid of death, but because of the existences of their children, he's more afraid than he ever had to go through prior to his time of learning his son's existence. In this scenario, knowing apart of him doesn't want to allow Diana and Clark to die, he looks up at Kara, staring at her. The skilled Archer shakes his head, nodding, accepting this to go.
