SmackDown: 8/3/2001

Thursday Night SmackDown was live at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C.. SmackDown opened with a WWF World Tag Team Championship match as the Hardy Boyz - who won the titles on Monday's episode of RAW is WAR - defended against former champions the Dudley Boyz. The Dudleys were able to hit Jeff with the 3-D - but as the ref was about to make the three-count, Christian ran down and pulled the ref out of the ring. As Buh Buh screamed at Christian, Matt Hardy snuck up behind and nailed Buh Buh with a neckbreaker. Jeff then pinned Buh Buh for a successful title defense! After the bout, an irate Buh Buh and D-Von pulled Christian into the ring, where they gave him a "wassap!" headbutt, and then Buh Buh powerbombed Christian through a table!

In a backstage locker room, Mr. McMahon was on the phone with someone, saying that he was angry at Bladewolf once again getting involved in his business. The Federation chairman said that he has Bladewolf defending his Intercontinental Championship against Val Venis.

Debra then walked into Mr. McMahon's locker room. Debra said she disliked the way Mr. McMahon degraded Trish on RAW, saying it was no way to treat a lady. Mr. McMahon said he had the utmost respect for women. The chairman then said that unlike Debra, who deserved respect, Trish was trash! But the owner said he got carried away, and he apologized to Debra.

Debra also told the chairman that she was upset about managing The Rock, who will face her husband - Stone Cold Steve Austin - at WrestleMania!

Vince McMahon said he was shocked on RAW when Debra resigned and said she wanted to go back to managing. The owner said he wanted to reward Debra for all her hard work, and he decided to allow her to manage the Federation Champion! Mr. McMahon said that he now understood the personal conflict, but he had always thought of Debra as a goal-oriented career woman. He told Debra to go back to Texas to be a housewife if she really wanted to, but he said he thought she could do a good job. Debra said it was an uncomfortable situation, but she was up for the challenge. Before Debra left, Mr. McMahon told her that he really admired the necklace she was wearing.

Now it was tie for the Intercontinental Championship match.

In the arena, Val Venis' theme hits and he comes out with Right to Censor, making their way towards the ring. Right to Censor stay outside the ring while Venis enters the ring, shouting and bragging about how he will become the next Intercontinental Champion.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

'Oh, ah, ah, ah, ah! Get up, come on get down with the sickness!'

Down with the Sickness plays to a huge pop from the crowd as the Bladewolf walks out with the Intercontinental Championship around his waist. He makes his way down the ramp. He gets into the ring, taking off his jacket and places it outside before he hands his title to the referee who holds it up as his theme dies down.

Giving the title to someone at ringside, the referee calls for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Venis mouths off to Bladewolf who just smirked at him before he gives Venis the middle finger to a pop from the fans then does the same to the rest of Right to Censor, who all went wide eyed.

"Censor that!" Bladewolf tells them with a chuckle.

Venis runs at Bladewolf but gets clotheslines hard then rebounds off the ropes and hit the leg drop across the throat but does not go for the pin or anything. Bladewolf gets to his feet, picks up venis then Irish whips him into the corner, runs and hits a turnbuckle clothesline before he lifts Venis up and hits a sideslam.

"That gotta hurt!" Tazz chuckles.

"I felt that." Cole nodded.

Bladewolf gets to a knee and hammers away on Venis time and time again befor ehe gets to his feet and backs up, rebounds off the ropes and then hits a leg dropa cross the throat of Venis. Bladewolf gets to his feet and drops a knee onto the chest of Venis then begins hammering away at Venis's skull again and again befor ehe stops then picks Venis up and hits a suplex. Bladewolf gets to his feet, then grabs Venis by the throat before lifting him straight up into the air...THEN PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!

Bladewolf was not done as he grabs Venis and hoists him onto his right shoulder, gets him upside down in front of him...THEN HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! BLADEWOLF RETAINS THE TITLE!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Down with the Sickness plays as Bladewolf gets to his feet and is handed his title, once again defending it and retaining. He grabs his jacket and pulls the baseball bat from out of it, looking straight at Right to Censor who consider attacking him but when seeing the bat that has busted open men, they ran for it before they could become the next ones to suffer being beaten up with the baseball bat.

"Right to Censor want no part of the Bladewolf." Tazz laughed.

"I don't blame them." Cole shook his head.

Bladewolf leaves the ring and heads to the back, placing the WWF Intercontinental Championship on his right shoulder and walks up the ramp, passing the curtain to go backstage.

And that's it for this chapter. Sorry it was short, but I hope you like seeing Bladewolf kick everyone's ass whenever they step into the ring with him. I also hope you've enjoyed his new personality and attitude thus far, make no mistake he still is demonic, just not as much as he used to be, think of if you joined CM Punk and Stone Cold's attitudes with Bladewolf's demonic persona, you get this rebel badass who is demonic.
