Scar's Survival
Chapter 13 Seeing Spots
"Dubwana you could have just easily killed Choma," Scar reasoned as he walked on patrol with the Strongest and his sub males on patrol. "Why didn't you?"
"Sure I could have killed him, if he were alone," Dubwana growled at Scar. "But with his Guard, not a chance. The four of us versus a dozen of them, wouldn't have ended well. Sure I could have taken on a couple of them, but not enough to turn the tide in our favor. Besides I was concerned for Shaba's safety. I promised my King, her late father, that I would protect her, so I did what I could. It was so sudden, everyone was caught off guard…"
"How reliable are Shaba's sources?" Scar asked. "Do you know any of them?"
"This one's going to flip when he meets Mseto…" Ukuta snickered.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Moyo growled.
"Shut up! Both of you!" Dubwana roared. "I know some of Shaba's sources… But I'm not telling you who they are. She'll tell you more when she believes she can trust you Scar…"
"Fair enough," Scar stated. "Shaba's Guard is now nearly the same size as Choma's. With your unparalleled size, why don't you suggest attacking Choma's Guard now?"
"I do not question my Queen," Dubwana growled. "I serve her to the best of my capability. She doesn't think we are ready yet. She wants more recruits…"
"Too many males in a pride can lead to resentments," Scar stated. "While I understand her wanting to be the stronger force it might backfire on her if the Guard grew unhappy with her…"
Scar continued to analyze all the information he was learning. He saw Choma's Guard again today, this time they were out with the second hunting party, without Choma. They roared at Dubwana's patrol party who roared back, but they never got very close to one another. Scar saw the young lioness, Sana looking at them intently with her silver eyes, as if she was trying to figure out their complex significance in her life. To Scar, Sana seemed intelligent, she just seemed to lack full awareness. She was yelled at by her Guard to keep moving. She had no fear, but maybe she had never known reason to. Scar remembered failing to kill Simba as the cub had cried over the death of Mufasa. He just couldn't bring himself to harm his nephew. Scar was glad Shaba felt the same way about Sana. Even though he didn't rightfully know her, he couldn't fathom harming her.
At the end of the day the Guard reconvened at their den. A hunting party was assembled and food was caught and eaten. Shaba came back late as usual. Ukuta was still in a foul mood. It had only been a few days since Scar and Moyo had outranked him but he was still sore about it and wanted to remind everyone he was still around. He boldly approached Shaba.
"My Queen," Ukuta said as suavely as he could. "It has been quite a while since the Guard last visited Mseto and his… friends. I not only speak for myself when I say they greatly incentivize our loyalty to the Guard and boost morale. It is now several months into the dry season. Perhaps it is time to pay them a visit?"
Shaba initially was scowling at the young Ukuta. But now she seemed to be considering what he was saying.
"I would never assume to know your wishes my Queen," Ukuta continued. "But you, yourself seem to be much improved after visiting Mseto…"
"Is Ukuta bothering you my Queen?" Dubwana asked in a low growl.
"No, Dubwana, that is alright," Shaba replied. "I think Ukuta is quite right actually. I'll ask Mseto if he might have some friends who would like to meet with the Guard…"
The rest of the sub males perked up at this. They all knew what this meant, but Scar and Moyo were lost. All Scar could decipher was that Mseto was one of Shaba's spies. He probably wasn't a lion, otherwise he would be in her Guard. His friends might be rouge lionesses. But that didn't make sense either, why wouldn't they be picked up by Choma's pride or why wouldn't they want to join Shaba? Or why wouldn't just some of the sub males leave Shaba's Guard to go after them?
Regardless of Scar's pondering, the next day Shaba stated that the Guard would meet up with Mseto in a few days. The Guard was very excited by this. Scar filled in Moyo that sex was most likely involved, but didn't promise anything. Moyo was hopeful but reasonable skeptical. When the day came the patrols were completed as usual. But Shaba was at the den waiting for the generals to return. Once everyone was back they headed out following Shaba. They headed quite a distance, not where they normally patrolled and came across a large grove of trees. A large bolder was a good distance in front of the trees. The Guard went to the bolder and started lining up in order of their rank within the Guard. The generals in front with the subs in back. Scar and Moyo took their positions, still unsure of what was about to happen.
"Wait here," Shaba told the Guard. Everyone seemed to be familiar with this, but Scar watched Shaba intently as she approached the grove of trees. She stopped at the base of a particularly large tree, looked up into its thick branches and gave a soft greeting roar. Slowly something came down from the tree. At first Scar thought it was a leopard, but it was far too big as it jumped down from the tree and stood next to Shaba. Its spots were also much fainter than that of a leopard's. Around its neck was some bushy hair, like an adolescent lion's mane…
"What the heck is that?" Scar asked in confusion.
Ukuta snickered loudly. "That is Mseto…" he sneered. "He's a leopon…"
"What's a leopon?" Moyo asked.
"A leopon is the offspring of a male leopard and a lioness," Mrithi stated.
"Hum…" Scar said as he continued to study Mseto from a distance. "Must have been an awful ballsy leopard…"
"Not really," Ukuta chipped in. "Around here it's not uncommon for young lions and leopards to… experiment… It just rarely results in cubs…"
"Why?" Moyo asked.
"Well why not?!" Ukuta growled. "Even the Great Kings were known to have affairs with leopardesses. Shaba seems to get along really well with Mseto… Doesn't she?"
"Indeed…" Scar stated blandly.
At first it seemed that Shaba was just talking to Mseto. But it quickly became apparent that that was not the only thing they were doing. Shaba was licking Mseto's ears, kissing him and he did the same. Shaba nibbled on his neck, Scar could hear her giving faint purring sounds. All the while Mseto's muscles tensed up. He stood proudly before Shaba, letting her inspect him, his tail raised proudly in the air. It wasn't long before Shaba was rubbing herself against Mseto, her tongue finding its way under Mseto's tail to his sensitive, growing parts. Shaba then presented herself, laying before Mseto. He mounted her…
Dubwana let out a low growl in protest but did nothing else.
"For not considering herself very attractive, Shaba sure seems to have found herself a collection of fuck boys…" Scar said derogatorily.
"See! I knew he wouldn't be able to stand it!" Ukuta said snidely.
Scar rolled his eyes and the stupid young lion. It was no use arguing with him over nothing. So Scar turned his attentions back to Shaba and Mseto. It was clear they had known one another a long time. They didn't think twice about screwing each other out in the open, none the less in front of such a large group of onlookers. But it was more than that. Mseto gave her tender kisses on the back of Shaba's neck rather than bites. Shaba wrapped her arm around Mseto, as if guiding him. It wasn't exciting, hot sex like what Scar had with Shaba, but rather more tender and loving. Scar recalled something Shaba had told him about unsuitable consorts…
After the pair had finished they lay for a moment together before Shaba reluctantly got up and walked back towards the Guard. Mseto headed into the thick trees…
"Alright everyone," Shaba said as firmly as she could. "You all know the drill. Line up in accordance to rank. No fighting, etc."
Mseto came back from the trees. Following him were two young leopardesses, giggling and chatting amongst themselves. They reminded Scar of Giza and Jivu… Mseto came up and sat down next to Shaba.
"Oh look at them all so handsome…" the first leopardess said.
"I know," the other chuckled back. "I hope they're as good as they look…"
In a fluster of excited giggles the two approached Dubwana, purring and rubbing against his massive frame. Dubwana stood for a moment as if he were enjoying the attention before growling at them, shooing them away. The leopardesses looked sadly at Dubwana for a moment before moving on to Mrithi. Mrithi dismissed the two quickly before they had a chance to get very close to him. Next up were Sala and Utiifu, who unsurprisingly, also dismissed the pair of eager young leopardesses. Scar had been observing the sub males. They watched the leopardesses with great attention. They would most likely partake in this strange exchange between the species…
"This one must have survived a ferocious battle!" one of the leopardesses proclaimed as the pair moved onto Scar.
"I hope everything still… works," the other said playfully.
The two leopardesses then tried their moves on Scar. Scar sat stoically, his attention not on the leopardesses but on Shaba. She was watching him intently, smiling mischievously. As if she wanted to watch… Mseto seemed unfazed by it all, siting calmly, not really paying attention to anything. Scar let the leopardesses play with him a bit more, knowing full well they wouldn't be able to arouse him, before dismissing them as the other generals had. Next was Moyo, the highest ranking sub male…
"He looks like a leopard with no spots!" the one leopardess said.
"Quite overgrown for a leopard wouldn't you say?" teased the other.
Moyo who had been sitting quietly behind Scar was suddenly very flustered as the two leopardesses descended on him. Being horny and much younger than any of the generals Moyo was aroused quite easily by the eager leopardesses who noticed right away that they had finally found a lion interested in their proposition…
"Scar?" Moyo asked, as if looking for approval. "What do I do…?"
"Enjoy yourself Moyo," Scar whispered back at the young lion. "Otherwise Ukuta most certainly will…"
Scar nodded his head at Ukuta, who was also aroused, waiting his turn for the leopardesses. He was snarling impatiently. This meeting had been his idea after all…
With Scar's blessing and wanting to show up the annoying Ukuta, Moyo stood up acknowledging the leopardesses. They both then eagerly plopped down before him, awaiting his services. Moyo nudged the two together, standing over both of them. They were much smaller than him, fitting nicely beneath his broadly stretched shoulders. They started purring and groaning for him in anticipation, panting as if they were in heat. Moyo wasted no time, lowing himself into one of them. The leopardess roared and moaned as he did a few thrusts in her before moving on to the second one. The second leopardess tried to outdo the first, moaning and roaring louder, a bit exaggerated. Moyo did some low growls of pleasure as a swapped between the pair. Eventually though his eagerness got the best of him and he finished himself off vigorously with one of the leopardesses to the disappointment of the other. But even though Moyo had climaxed he still had some left over for the second leopardess, vigorously thrusting into her next, making her scream with delight, and roaring once more from his own gratification…
Scar noticed Shaba and Mseto looking eagerly at Moyo's performance. They exchanged whispers and chuckles of their own at the youthful display of sexual vigor. Moyo was exhausted, hardly able to stand from his efforts. He made his way over to Scar and all but collapsed at his side.
"You're going to kill yourself at that rate Moyo," Scar chuckled.
"Well I was hoping Ukuta's dick would fall off if I took too long," Moyo groaned. "But no such luck…"
The leopardesses cleaned themselves up a bit before going over to Ukuta. He eagerly mounted one of them, roughly pinning her down, growling at the second one as he serviced the first. It was very obvious that his chosen leopardess wasn't enjoying herself very much with his rough, selfish servicing. She growled at him for a moment before getting up and swatting him away. Ukuta wasn't happy. He was still hard and unfulfilled. He took a step towards the second leopardess who hissed at him. Dubwana growled at his sub.
"Leave them alone Ukuta…" he warned. "They've had enough of you…"
Although he was pissed, Ukuta knew better than to challenge Dubwana. The leopardesses continued their way down the line of sub males, most of them eager to service the pair. They enjoyed themselves but it seemed that they missed the fun they had had with Moyo. After finishing their way down the chain of command, the leopardesses approached Moyo once more. He had had a sufficient break to allow him to become aroused again as they began teasing him once more. Moyo was all too happy to oblige them, getting ready to mount one of them again when Shaba came over and growled at Moyo, halting him.
"That's enough," Shaba growled at Moyo. "You had your turn, now it's time to head back. Say goodbye girls!"
"Awww…" the leopardesses whined in protest. "Goodbye boys!"
Moyo hung his head in shame. Scar could tell he was more than just disappointed from being denied another romp with the leopardesses. He craved affection and wanted to be close to someone. Seeing Moyo like this caused a stabbing pain in Scar's gut. Moyo needed something more than just a lioness to breed. He needed a mate. Someone to love and look after. The longing in Moyo's eyes as the leopardesses left brought sadness to Scar. Poor Moyo…
Shaba was organizing the Guard to return to the den. Mseto was hanging around to see them off. No one was noticing him, so Scar took his opportunity…
"I'm Scar, Keenest of Tactics of Shaba's Lion Guard," Scar quickly introduced himself to the leopon.
"So I've heard," Mseto replied curtly.
"I need to know as much information as possible if I am to help Shaba retake her throne," Scar continued, unfazed. "Would you mind meeting with me sometime… alone to discuss some things…?"
Mseto looked over Scar with harsh eyes. He knew the scrawny lion was only doing this because everyone was distracted. It would only take a second for Mseto to alert the Guard and Shaba. His steely grey eyes studying Scar closely, trying to find any hint of untruth or impropriety. Scar stared back intently, pleading with his green eyes for Mseto's help. It worked.
"Fine," the leopon said reluctantly. "Come by here next week around noon. Come alone…"
"Thank you Mseto…" Scar hastily thanked him.
"Come on Scar! We're moving out!" Shaba called.
Scar heeded his Queen's call and headed back to the den with the rest of the Guard.
