Santana walks into her house after driving off to buy flowers for Brittany and drops her keys in the bowl kicking off her shoes, she walks through the hallway into the kitchen and stops in her tracks as she sees her parents sitting at the table eating a sandwich. '' Mami, papi!''
'' Ola mija.'' Mario says smiling lovingly, Maribel greets her daughter and tilts her head smiling slightly as she sees the beautiful bouquet of roses in her hand.
'' Ola mija, beautiful flowers you got there.''
Santana bites her lip glancing at the flowers and gulps. '' Yeah I um…''
'' You got a date mija?'' Maribel asks smirking, Mario chuckles as he sees their daughter blush and nudges his wife.
'' Don't tease her, mi amor.'' He turns to his daughter and smiles lovingly. '' Who is the lucky girl, mija?''
Santana bites her lip and looks down at her feet blushing. '' I-i um.''
Maribel smiles lovingly as she sees their daughter blush and stands up, she walks over to her and kisses the top of her head as she pulls her in a hug. '' Is it Brittany?''
Santana's head snaps up and she looks up at her mother in shock. '' How?''
Mario laughs also walking over to his daughter and pulls her in a hug kissing her forehead. '' We walked into her room to say hello and saw her getting ready, your mami got it out of her that she is going on a date with you after she stammered around too.''
'' You are okay with it?'' Santana asks softly, Mario pulls back looking down at her and raises an eyebrow.
'' Why wouldn't we be okay with it? Your mami already put a bet on it that it would happen the first month Brittany moved to us.''
'' You what?'' Santana asks shocked turning to her mother, Maribel smiles lovingly and runs her hand through her daughters hair.
'' I knew the both of you would start dating because of the smiles and looks the both of you give each other when you think nobody is looking, we are more than okay with you dating Brittany, mija.''
'' I don't even feel the need to have to protective dad talk with her, I still did but I toned it down like one hundred percent.'' Mario says chuckling
'' Really?'' Santana asks softly, Mario nods his head and smiles.
'' I can see how happy she makes you mija and you make her just as happy, I know Brittany will never hurt you intentionally and I know she will always protect you no matter what.''
Santana nods her head and smiles slightly. '' She makes me really happy.''
'' Yeah we can see that mija.'' Maribel murmurs softly kissing her head, she pulls back and smiles lovingly. '' Go to her Santanita, we can talk more tomorrow during breakfast.''
Mario nods his head in agreement and smiles. '' Yeah Q told Brittany she will bring Kay home after dinner so we can talk without her hearing about it just yet, Brittany already told us that Puck is the only one who knows it.''
Santana nods her head and sighs softly. '' Yeah we want to see where it leads us before we tell Kayla and Q about it, we kinda wanted to tell it the both of you together too but I had to know that it would go like this.''
Mario laughs and nods his head. '' Yeah kinda.'' He squeezes his daughters shoulder and smiles. '' Go upstairs to her mija, your mami and I will go into the family room and watch a movie.''
Santana nods her head kissing her parents cheek and turns on her heels jogging up the stairs, she straightens out the v-cut red dress she wears and knocks on Brittany's door.
She smiles as she opens the door and bites her lip as she glances down at the clothes she wears. '' Whoa, you look hot.''
Brittany chuckles affectionately as she watches a sheepish smile cover Santana's face and smiles. '' You look beautiful San.''
Santana smiles as Brittany adjusts the blue off the shoulder top she wears and looks down at the flowers in her hand, she slowly holds them out and smiles shyly. '' These are for you.''
Brittany smiles lovingly taking the flowers from her and sniffs them. '' Thank you.'' She mumbles softly, she walks over to the vase she keeps in her room and places them in it taking the other flowers out.
Santana smiles and tilts her head. '' Ready to go?'' She closes Brittany's door as soon as she nods her head walking past her out of her room and follows her down the stairs, she opens the front door after they both slipped on their leather jackets and pushes the button to unlock Brittany's car. '' See you later mami and papi, te amo!'' She yells through the house, she closes the door behind her and jogs to the car opening Brittany's car door for her.
She smiles as Brittany kisses her cheek thanking her softly and walks around the car jumping into the drivers seat, Brittany turns to look at her as Santana pulls out of the driveway and bites her lip. '' Where are we going San?''
'' You will find out soon, Britt-Britt.'' She laughs softly as she sees her rolling her eyes and reaches out squeezing her leg softly. '' Have a little patience Hermosa, it won't take us long to get there.''
Brittany smiles slightly leaning back in the passenger seat of her car and turns her head to look at Santana. '' What exactly do you have planned San?''
'' It's a surprise Britt-Britt, but I hope you will like it.'' Santana murmurs softly as she drives up a narrow road, she turns the radio off as soon as they reach the spot she found during a run a few weeks before and parks the car.
She jumps out of the car ignoring Brittany's confused gaze after she glances around and walks around it opening the door for her, she holds out her hand helping her out and smiles shyly nodding her head to the back of the car. '' Come on.'' She murmurs softly.
She slowly takes her hand leading her to the back of the pick up and climbs on top of it, she turns to Brittany smiling as she easily pulls herself up and bites her lip as she sees her look at the things she brought with her.
'' What, how?'' Brittany asks surprised, Santana smiles sitting down on the blanket she spread out on the back of the car and pats the spot beside her.
'' I prepared everything the second you got ready and told me that I can drive your car.''
Brittany sits down beside her leaning against the side of the cargo bed and smiles as she watches Santana open the basket filled with snacks and drinks. '' Where are we?''
'' In the Lima forest.'' Santana murmurs softly as she sits back beside Brittany after pulling a variety of snacks and two cans of coke out of the basket, she turns to Brittany and bites her lip. '' It was hard finding something to do without the possibility of someone from our school stumbling upon us, Lima is small and it's difficult to find spots where nobody will be.''
She shakes her head as Brittany opens her mouth to reply and smiles reassuringly. '' I don't mean it like that, I also want to keep this for us for a bit and see where it leads us before other people can put their nosiness in our business.'' She reaches out grabbing Brittany's hand and sighs softly. '' So anyway after thinking long and hard, this was the best thing I could think off.''
She glances at Brittany and bites her lip slowly pointing up at the sky, she smiles as she gasps as soon as she looks up and looks up herself. '' You told me that you love stargazing and I thought that we could do that tonight, I prepared some snacks for us and have a playlist with instrumental music so we can just talk and enjoy the view.''
'' Whoa this is amazing.'' Brittany murmurs looking up at the starry sky, she slowly pulls her eyes away from the amazing view and turns to Santana smiling slightly. '' How did you find this?''
'' This is the spot where I come to whenever I have a bad day, gazing up at the sky and enjoying the silence always calms me down.'' Santana murmurs softly, she turns to look at Brittany and shrugs her shoulders smiling slightly. '' I wanted to share it with you.''
'' I um..'' Brittany starts, she runs a hand through her hair and smiles lovingly. '' Thank you for bringing me here San, I would love to sit here and stargaze with you.'' She thanks her softly as she places a plate with french toast roll ups and bites her lip. '' I really appreciate all of this, I am sure you planned something else and changed it this afternoon after what happened at school.''
She laughs as she sees the shock in Santana's eyes and shrugs her shoulders. '' The comment about coming here when you had a bad day gave you away San, I really appreciate that you changed your plans on such short notice but I would've enjoyed whatever you originally planned too.''
'' I know you would have but I think this.'' Santana mentions her hand around them and smiles slightly. '' Will relax you a bit more.''
Brittany smiles wrapping an arm around her shoulders as she leans against her and gazes up at the sky humming softly as she savors the taste of the strawberry cheese french toasts Santana made for them. '' Everything will calm me down as long as I get to spend the evening with you.'' She freezes quickly gulping down the bite she just took and blushes. '' Shit that sounded so damn cheesy.''
Santana snickers and holds up another french toast. '' Need some more bread to that cheesiness Britt-Britt?'' She laughs as she pokes her side and pulls back, she leans up on her knees opening both of their cans of coke and turns to the blonde smiling lovingly. '' I feel the same though, I love every moment I get to spend with you and Kayla but this.'' She mentions her hand in between them. '' I enjoy even more.''
Brittany smiles taking a can of coke from her and holds it up smiling slightly. '' To an amazing first date?''
'' To an amazing first date.'' Santana murmurs smiling lovingly softly tapping her can against Britt's, she sits back down taking a sip and sighs softly leaning back against the side of the cargo bed.
Brittany smiles as Santana turns on soft instrumental music after drinking and eating in a comfortable silence for a few minutes and turns to look at her biting her lip. '' What music artist do you never get tired of?''
Santana turns to look at her raising an eyebrow at the random question and smiles as she sees Brittany just shrug her shoulders smiling slightly. '' Um Whitney Houston and Celine Dion, you?''
'' Shania Twain and Celine Dion.'' Brittany murmurs smiling slightly. '' I know Kay loves to tease me because of it, but I love the titanic soundtrack.'' She laughs as Rose's theme suddenly filters through the small speaker box Santana brought with her and turns to look at her raising an eyebrow.
Santana chuckles and smiles shyly. '' I know you love it so I added it to the playlist.''
'' You are amazing, you know that?'' Brittany asks softly, she moves a bit away from Santana and turns around laying on her back with her head in Santana's lap smiling as her hand immediately runs through her hair.
'' What is your dream job?'' Santana asks softly as she continues running her blunt nails down Brittany's scalp, Brittany looks up at her and smiles slightly.
'' Run a dance studio or, photographer or play in a band, what about you?''
'' I want to be a singer or do something else music related.'' Santana murmurs smiling slightly, Brittany nods her head looking up at her and sighs contently as she feels her fingers run over her scalp.
'' You have an amazing voice San, I am sure you will rock whatever you will do in the future.''
'' Same goes for you Britt-Britt.'' Santana murmurs smiling lovingly.
'' Talk about photography, do you mind me taking a picture?''
Santana shakes her head and smiles lovingly. '' Not at all, go ahead.''
Brittany smiles quickly sitting up and takes her phone out of her pocket, she slowly stands up walking over to the small window where Santana put up the speaker box and reaches inside grabbing the tripod she keeps there for her phone.
She turns the remote control on placing the tripod in the middle and sets her phone up facing the large trees surrounding them and the sky, she sits back down next to Santana and pushes the button to take a picture. '' This is really amazing, thank you for taking me here San.''
'' I am glad you enjoy it Britt-Britt.'' Santana murmurs smiling lovingly, she watches Brittany take another picture and smiles as she sees her turning the phone so it's facing them and the sky behind them.
Brittany turns to look at her and smiles slightly. '' Picture together?'' She smiles as Santana nods her head turning towards her and wraps her arm around her waist pulling her closer, she glances up at the sky and slowly kisses the back of Santana's neck as she settles down in front of her. '' Thank you for planning all of this San, I really enjoy our date.''
She pushes the button as Santana turns to look at her with a loving smile and locks eyes with her, Santana reaches out cupping the back of her neck and plays with the little hairs she finds there. '' I really enjoy it too Britt-Britt.''
Brittany smiles slightly as the instrumental of Kiss me filters through the speakers and slowly reaches up cupping Santana's cheek, she runs her thumb over her cheekbone and bites her lip as she locks eyes on warm brown orbs.
Santana bites her lip as she sees Brittany glance down at her lips and slightly tilts her head back sliding her hand in soft blonde locks, Brittany slowly leans down keeping their eyes locked and ghosts their lips over each other swallowing Santana's soft hum.
She curls her hand around her jaw pulling her closer and captures her lips with her own both girls breathing deeply through their noses at the first real touch of their lips, Brittany smiles into the kiss as she feels Santana blindly grab the hand holding the remote control connected to her phone and tilts her head deepening the kiss after she felt her push the button to take a picture.
Santana slowly pulls out of the kiss moving to sit on her knees and turns around facing Brittany, she cups her cheek smiling lovingly as she sees the starry sky lightening up in Britt's bright blue orbs and leans down capturing her lips again. Brittany hums into the kiss wrapping her arms around Santana's waist as she feels the tip of her tongue slide over her bottom lip and pulls her closer granting exit, she moans softly as their tongues touch for the first time and moves so she is straddling Brittany.
Brittany slides her hands from the small of Santana's back down to her ass and slips them into the back pockets of the skinny jeans she wears, she tilts her head deepening the kiss and moans softly as she feels Santana's tongue curl around her own.
Santana slowly pulls out of the kiss as breathing becomes necessary and bites her lip leaning their foreheads together. Brittany gulps breathing deeply through her nose keeping her eyes closed and bites her lip smiling slightly. '' Wow.'' She murmurs softly, Santana hums playing with the small hairs on the back of her neck and chuckles softly.
'' Wow is right.'' Brittany smiles slightly pulling her closer and runs her hand through dark locks as Santana nuzzles her face against her shoulder sighing softly, she blindly kicks the basket Santana brought with them away and moves onto her back into a laying position settling her head on top of the pillows Santana laid out for them.
She runs her hand up Santana's back as she cuddles into her side and looks up at the sky folding her free arm behind her head, she bites her lip as she sees the stars shine brightly and sighs contently.
Santana kisses her naked shoulder just above the top Brittany wears softly and reaches down grabbing the blanket she brought with her knowing the nights get cold, she throws it over the both of them and cuddles back into Brittany's arms humming softly as she feels her fingers run over the small of her back under her shirt.
''Thank you for showing me this spot San, it is really amazing and I enjoy spending the evening here with you.'' Brittany murmurs softly as she gazes up at the sky, Santana leans up on her elbow to look down at Brittany and smiles lovingly.
'' Did you enjoy it enough for a second date?'' She asks softly, Brittany tilts her head gazing up at Santana and smiles lovingly slowly nodding her head as she sees the stars surrounding the black haired beauty.
'' Mh more than enough for a second date San.'' She slowly reaches up curling her hand around the back of her neck and pulls her down kissing her softly. '' Tonight was perfect San.''
