Conner and Jon spent the rest of the next day comforting each other and having some brotherly time, which was great because Jon needed it. He's been suffering for way too long and I knew time was running out. I had to act. Like immediately. The first thing I did alone was go back to where I saw Jason fire at Joker that other night. No one was going to be there. Most criminals never go back to the same place. Sure enough the warehouse was empty, but there was enough evidence to tell me where Jason was headed next. I found a ton of pamphlets that pointed to different places like Egypt, Pakistan, Russia, and Mexico. Anyone who saw this might think this is where Jason hid Batman and the others. But here was the catch. All of this was way too easy. Jason left all this on purpose. He knew we'd follow those leads. At least the Justice League for now. I looked deeper in the warehouse and found no evidence of anything. As I was still looking, I got a call from my watch. I answered.

"Damian? Where are you?" asked Jon.

"I'm back to the warehouse looking for clues. Jason left a ton of evidence on purpose." I told him.

"Dude... come back home. There's nothing much we can do now." said Jon.

I blinked a couple times, hoping that I didn't hear that right. "I beg your pardon?" I asked.

"Damian, come home. The league's got it." said Jon. His voice on the other end sounded weak, like he was out of energy. I thought being with Conner would lift his sprits, but something wasn't right. I nodded. "Okay, I'll be home in five minutes." I replied.

As I got home, Alfred opened the door for me and I saw Jon sitting alone in the library. "Master Jon had a small fallout with Master Conner. It seems Conner is needed back in the league and you could imagine the distress Master Jon is going through. The poor child. Perhaps you could do something to cheer him up? I thought cookies would help him." said Alfred.

"I'll see what I can do." I told Alfred. I headed towards Jon who was wrapped with a blanket and his eyes were swollen by how much crying he was doing.

"What now?" I asked.

Jon didn't reply. He simply shrugged. I rolled my eyes, but I knew better than to piss him off. "Listen, your brother's got responsibilities. He's Superboy." I told him.

"I'm Superboy." said Jon. I chuckled, though not mockingly. I tried not go give him any BS.

"Exactly. You should act like it. Superboys don't cry." I said.

Jon sniffed and wiped his boogers with a napkin. I sat back and shook my head.

"You know... my Dad doesn't have any powers. Nor do my brothers apperantly and one of them has become a psychotic villain who is off killing crime lords. I don't know what made him snap like that, but he managed to kidnap the only family I'm ever knowing. None of them have what your father has. And it's super powers. Your father... knowing him he's not giving up. He's got a lot to live for. You, Connor, your Mom. Your Dad is a legend. How can a scrawny kid like Jason take down Superman. THE Superman. Jon, I know things are scary. I'm just as scared as you are. But we can't sit here in distress. Our fathers are counting on us. We are the future generation of heroes. What will happen when you become the next Superman? Are you going to cry if a kitty falls off a tree? No. Are you going to cry if you get hurt by a measly splinter on a piece of wood? No. So Jon, there's no reason to cry. Because whatever happens... I got your back. I'll be there for you if things go tough."

I don't know what possessed me. I actually said those things. After this, Jon looked at me and hugged me tightly. "Your the bestest friend in the world." he said softly. I felt touched. "You silly goose." I told him as I patted his back. Alfred watched and smiled.

"So... what now?" asked Jon.

"Well right now, the league is doing everything they can to find our fathers and my brothers. But if we look into the batcave... I'm sure we'll find something we might have missed." I said to Jon.

We both heard a noise and Catwoman appeared from the Batcave. "I found something!" she cried out.

"What did you find auntie Selena?" asked Jon.

"Oracle's whereabouts. It took me a while, but I managed to hack into her computer wheelchair. She's actually in Arkham Asylum!" said Catwoman.

"Then that's where everyone else is!" I cried.

"You think Jason hid my Dad there?!" cried Jon.

"Only one way to find out. Let's go!" I cried.

"Hold on boys. Arkham Asylum is a dangerous place. The police who work there have a hard time dealing with a lot of things." said Catwoman.

"Lady Selena is right boys. The fact that Ms. Barbara is there and hidden can only mean one thing. Arkham Asylum might be under control by someone wicked." said Alfred.

"Too bad Conner left. He would have helped us." said Jon.

"Why did he leave?" I asked.

"It's Darkseid again. Legal issues, but right now let's focus on the task at hand." said Jon.

I nodded and the four of us decided to pay the Asylum a visit.
