Chapter Thirteen: Moving In Together
Ryan changes into pajamas and, he and Natalia who had already put on her pajamas after her shower headed downstairs for dinner. When they got downstairs, the pizza arrived five minutes later. They settled on the couch with the pizza and beers, and Ryan turned on the television. Since it was October, many channels were showing horror movies. Ryan found one where Insidious had now started. They finished eating and Ryan spoke up, "Hey babe, so about us moving in together. We can move into my place, your place or find a new place together." "I think I'll move in here. I've brought over a lot of my stuff and left it here over the past few months." Ryan nods and they snuggle up and continued to watch the movie.
When the movie was over, they went to bed. The next morning, Ryan and Natalia had a quick breakfast, then got ready for work. They left Ryan's van to go to work. On the way there, Natalia tells Ryan, "We've both got Monday off. We can move my stuff over to your place then." "Ok. Sounds good," says Ryan. They got to the lab and started their workday.
The week went by and before they knew it, Natalia and Ryan along with the team had moved her stuff to Ryan's place. Natalia cooked dinner for everyone, and they ate once everything was inside the house. They thanked everyone for their help after dinner and the others left. Natalia and Ryan cleaned up all the dishes and went to take showers after. When they finished showering, they changed into pajamas and since it was a clear night, Ryan decided to go out on the balcony to use his telescope. Natalia joined him after she had put her hair in a plait.
While Ryan was looking into the telescope, Natalia wrapped her arms around him from behind and buried her head in the middle of his back with her eyes closed. Ryan let her stay that way for a couple of seconds before he turned his attention solely on her. He turned around to face her and kissed her. Natalia wrapped her arms around Ryan's neck and tangled her hands in his hair. She pulled back and whispered in his ear, "Let's take this inside." They stumbled inside and onto their bed. Around midnight, Ryan awoke to get a drink of water and when he got back to the bedroom, Natalia was entering the bedroom from the bathroom. She speaks up, "Now that was a great way to spend our first night of moving in together." "Yes, it was," says Ryan as he and Natalia get back into bed and fell asleep with Natalia snuggled up to Ryan.
