Sophie's POV
I was crying. I could not take it anymore. Vallin would come every day and torture me. By torture I mean he would rape me then he would abuse me. I had scratches everywhere. And they most probably will end up being scars. I cried harder. I am STARVING! He did not even give me a piece of food. I started crying even harder. I wanted to see my friends. It has been a week since I got kidnapped. I wonder what they are doing. I wanted to see them SO badly. I wanted to see Edaline and Grady. I tried to get up but I could not.
"What are you trying to do?" Vallin asked.
"None of your business," I replied.
"You are so stubborn"
"Shut up. What do you want?"
"What do I want? Well I want you"
"Then why on earth did you cheat in me? And why are you abusing me? If you want me then you should have never done any of those." I mean what is he thinking? It makes absolutely zero sense. He is the one that brought it on himself.
"Well, I did it because I wanted to"
"That does not make sense"
"Well too bad."
Vallin then left. I was super annoyed. He was so stupid. I do not even know why I even dated him in the beginning. I needed to get out of here. I decided to reach out telepathically to Fitz.
Fitz! I transmitted.
Sophie?
Yes!
Where are you?
I do not know. The only thing I know is that Vallin kidnapped me.
What?! Did he do anything to you?
Yes.
What did he do? Please do not tell me he did that again.
Yes, he did. He raped me and he abused me.
Are you okay?
No. It hurts so much. And I am starving.
Do not worry. We are going to find you. But do you have any idea where you could be?
No, I do not know. The only thing I know is that he is a phaser. (I made up the fact that he is a phaser)
He is?! Since when.
I do not know. He never told me.
So that is how he got into the dorm.

I was so happy! I was going to get out soon.
"Who were you transmitting to?" I heard Vallin say.
"When did you come?" I asked.
"That does not matter. Now answer the question. Who were you transmitting to?"
"That is none of your business"
"Oh really? Well, then I guess I will have to punish you for that."
Fitz's POV
After me and Sophie talked, I hailed our friends to tell them the situation. I told them that Sophie was kidnapped and what Vallin was doing to her. We decided that we had to get Sophie out of there and fast. I tried to track Vallin's thoughts.
"I founded him!" I yelled.
"Really?! Where is he?"
"He is in some small cottage deep in the woods," I replied.
"Ok well then let's go get him," Keefe said.
"Wait, we have to be smart. Sophie said Vallin is a phaser so you should stay vanished Biana"
"So what will the rest of us do?" asked Tam.
"I am not really sure. Let's just go there and then we will see what we can do" I replied. I mean I did not have a plan. The one thing for sure is that we need to get Sophie out of there before Vallin hurts her even more.
We walked to the cottage. "Ok, here we are," I said.
"I say Bangs Boy should go in first," Keefe said.
"Why do you hate Tam so much?" asked Wylie.
"Because he is annoying," Keefe replied.
"You're the annoying one here!" Tam said.
"Me?! The Keefester is never annoying. You are the weird one with those dumb bangs." Keefe said.
"Your hair is the weirdest and stupidest hair I ever saw!" Tam said.
"Did you just insult The Hair!" Keefe said with a hurt tone.
"Yup I did," Tam said with a smirk. Something that rarely happens.
"Why you!" Keefe shouted.
"Ok guys stop! Especially you Tam. Come on. We came here to rescue Sophie and you guys are arguing like little children!" Linh shouted at them.
"Are you supposed to be that nice one here? So why did you shout!" Keefe asked.
"I am nice. And I shouted because you guys are being ridiculous. Our friend is in there and she is getting abused and hurt and who knows what is happing right now and you guys are bickering like idiots" Linh said.
"But" Keefe tried to say.
"Shut up Keefe," Dex said.
"Ok let's go," I said.
We burst through the door. The outside looked like a cottage but the inside was nothing like it. It looked like a prison. Ok, it did not look like a prison it was a prison. There were cells everywhere. There were only 2 doors. Witch, they are most probably the washroom and Vallin's bedroom.
"Ok guys look around for Sophie," I said.
"Why do you not try to track her down or just talk to her" Marella suggested.
"Oh right! I forgot about that." I said.
I tried reaching out to Sophie.
Sophie! I transmitted.
Fitz? She transmitted weakly.
We found where Vallin is holding you but we do not know where you are. Do you have any clue.
No. Sorry.
Is Vallin with you?
No. He left a few minutes ago.
Ok. Did he do anything to you?
Yes. He did the usual.

We served the connection. I tried to track her thoughts but I heard a loud crash. I turned around to see Vallin holding a melder.
"So I see you are done talking," He said.
"What do you want?"I asked him.
"Oh I just want to teach you guys a lesson for breaking into my cottage," He said.
"You are the one that kidnapped Sophie," I said.
"So. Why do you care?"He said.
"Why do I care? Sophie is our Friend!" I said exaggerating the word friend.
"She is my girlfriend," Vallin said. I was so annoyed. He is absolutely dumb.
"No. She is your ex-girlfriend. You are the one that cheated on her in the first place." I said.
"No. She is my girlfriend." He said.
"Oh my god! Are you that stupid Vallin? Really you need to get a brain!" Biana shouted.
"Come on let's get this over with," Marella said.
"Keefe, Wylie, Dex and Fitz go look for Sophie. Tam, Biana, Marella and Me will keep Vallin busy" Linh said.
"Ok," We all said.
We looked all around until I saw a puddle of blood. I ran to it and there I saw my crush. On the ground, her clothes ripped and bloody. She was full of scratches. I was so sad.
DEX! I transmitted to him.
Yeah? He thought.
I found Sophie. But I need help to open the cell.
Alright, I am on my way. He thought.
After 1 minute Dex got here and opened the cell. I rushed inside and dropped on my knees. I took Sophie's body on my lap and hugged her. She was passed out.
"We need to get her to Elwin now," Dex said.
"Ok, I will transmit to the others that we are taking her to Elwin," I said.
Sophie's POV
I was in pain. It felt like I was asleep for so long. I opened my eyes to see someone Elwin hovering over me.
"What happened?" I asked. I tried to get up but fell back down immediately.
"Do not try to get up" Elwin said. He gave me a bunch of elixirs to drink.
"How do you feel?" He asked.
"I just feel some pain," I said.
"Ok. Here take this. It should stop the pain." He said while giving me an elixir.
"Ok now, can you explain to me what happened," I asked.
" I am not really sure what happened. I will get Fitz to explain to you but in short, you have very severe injuries. And you have been asleep for 2 weeks" Elwin said.
"WHAT?! 2 weeks?! How is that even possible." I asked.
"It is possible when you need the rest. Since you were asleep for 2 weeks your injuries healed perfectly. Luckily I was able to make an elixir to heal the scars." He said.
"Thanks. So I can get up now?" I asked.
"Yes you can but stay in bed for a little while," he said.
"Ok," I replied. I was glad I did not have to stay on bed rest.
"Sophie are you okay?" I hear someone say.
I turned around to see my friends running towards me. They all tackled me in a hug.
I laugh slightly. "Yes I am alright," I said.
"I am so glad you are," Linh said.
"I swear I am going to teach Vallin a piece of my mind," Biana said.
"What happened to him anyway?" I asked.
"We told the council about him," Tam said.
"And you know what they did? They only gave him a warning. They did not even punish him. He should've gone to Exile." Dex said.
"Well, that is expected," I said.
"What do you me 'that is expected'?" asked Wylie.
"The council hates me. They would never do anything for me." I replied.
"Why does the council hate you?" Marella asked.
"Because I am a freak" I replied.
"You are not a freak," Fitz said.
"Yes, I am. They hate me because of where I came from and for my freakish brown eyes and for the fact that I have so many abilities" I said.
"What are your abilities?" Linh asked.
"I am a Telepath, Polyglot, Inflictor and Teleporter," I replied.
"Stop lying," Keefe said.
"What? Who said I am lying?" I asked.
"You can't lie to an Empath. Tell me what other ability do you have?" he asked.
"Stupid Empaths" I mutter under my breath. "If I tell you guys you have to promise not to tell anyone no matter what."
"We promise," They all said.
I sigh. "I am an Enhancer," I say.
"Wow! Cool!" Shouts Marella.
"Aren't those really rare?" Asked Marella.
"Not rare. She is the only Enhancer existent. Right?" Dex asked.
"Yup. I am the only one existent." I say.
"That must be tiring," Wylie said.
"Not really. The only problem is keeping it a secret and the gloves." I said.
"Oh yeah. I bet those gloves are annoying." Tam said.
"Yup. There are so annoying." I said.
"Does Vallin know about them?" Biana asked.
"No," I replied.
"Well, that's good. Who knows what he will do if he knew you were one," said Linh.
"He would go insane and try to kidnap you again," Dex said.
"Yeah. Most probably" I said.
"But we will be ready if he does," Fitz said
"Yup. We will!" I said. Happily. I was so glad that I have amazing friends. They were the best.
