Chapter 33: "S'Winter"
Woo, new chapter guys! Still feeling the love. Hey guys, just a heads up, this will be the last one before the Holiday Chapter, so I hope you guys are ready for that. Now, to the reviews!
woodsiah108: Haven't watched that movie. Haven't watched any DC movies after BvS and JL, the franchise is dead to me.

Midnight Haki: that's an interesting point. I don't think we ever saw his Semblance in action before. And it is a little weird that Goodwitch is ok with him attending Beacon, but not Jaune, despite Cardin not showing much improvement despite his apparent credentials (he had to be one of the top fighters to be selected to join right?).
1v2: glad to know I surprised ya. I really wanted to make a big sendoff on that universe, and a simple uniform or his cool motorcycle wouldn't have done it for me. Sadly, I have not watched most of those movies, and those I did I haven't seen in decades.
Dragongod54: never heard of either of them. I think my brother forced me to watch the first one once, but I never got interested in it.
MamaSaki: yes actually. I want to eventually have the parents and sisters joining in. Maybe and uncle and aunt as well. If not, I'll be sure to have them be in possible futures down the line. And funny you should say that. A parent is being shown in this chapter, but I'll leave who it is as a surprise.

Yung Chxst: wait what? Where'd you get that idea? They're the 4 daughters of Salem and Ozma. They were spirited away before their parents destroyed each other. The idea was pretty funny, just wanted to clear things up.
WearyCurmudgeon: reasoning with a tank? Sounds like RvB. I feel the same when anyone mention those mind wipe things. I wonder, is it painful? I mean, humans and aliens would have no reason for making the process painless since the droids would forget about the procedure anyway. Now I made myself sad. Already have a fleet in mind, though a few are from Halo. Since I'm making ID4 Resurgence a possible future, I had to find ships that look similar to the fighters Earth used, and work off of that for a history of their fleet as well as a progression of technology with/out Magic as a power source. Tai's death would result in that, but Raven has other new bonds (Jaune and Sienna). And with the Brothers' deaths she won't have a way to teleport anymore. I agree that that team really needs an overhaul (and really, third strongest? What the hell?). Though they only ran away from a single enemy, which they outnumbered and had powers to fight it off with. Those teams who fled during the Fall had Grimm (with a large dragon spawning more in to recuperate any losses), White Fang, and Atlas Droids after them. Hehe, I can see Pyrrha doing that only if she was backed into a corner and had to watch as her chance slipped away… oh wait. Unfortunately Home Alone would not be shown in this year. With the Holiday Chapter coming up next, Stargate afterwards, and a few one-offs after that, it's gonna be impossible for Home Alone to make it in this season.

Jack had asked if anyone wanted a tour of the ship, and most accepted.
It actually took several hours since everyone wanted to see different parts of the ship.
Penny went to the engineering department to see if she could copy the designs of the ship, but was disappointed to find that she couldn't really understand the technology behind it. "Oh darn, it would seem that this technology is currently beyond my understanding." She said with a frown as she looked at the schematics. 'A shame really. I really wanted to impress Jaune by showing him some the designs for his family to use.' Even as innocent as she is, she didn't want to be left behind.
Cinder, Raven and Robin went to the weapons storage area to see if they could find anything, but were pissed to find it empty. "Oh come on!"
The rest of the Villains went to various sections of the ship at random, just taking in the near artistic designs from the inside as they went to see what would take their interest.
The Heroes and the rest of the children all went to the bridge, where the children wanted to sit on their dad's/uncle's seat.
The mothers didn't trust each other, but had agreed to take turns, and Emerald was able to take the first spot. She giggled as her twins wanted to sit together, and took a picture of them as they looked forward with serious expressions. "You girls are so cute~." She squealed as Peridot and Garnet smiled at their mom.
Next was Glynda, who placed an eager Alice down on the seat. Alice looked around in wonder as she sat on the very comfortable seat. She then started to press some buttons on the armrests which thankfully didn't do anything but light up and make soft noises after being pressed. Glynda smiled as she took her pictures. After she got bored, Alice asked to be picked up.
Saphron was next, and Adrian basically did the same thing as Alice.
After Adrian came Sienna with Altani who sat down and started issuing orders to her sisters to take the controls, which they did as they acted like they were piloting the ship, earning "Aww"'s from the mothers and a proud look from Sienna. With their little game starting though, no one else went to sit on their dad's seat.
Ruby and Weiss went to see the weapons console, to see what else the ship could have at its arsenal, though were pushed aside by a grinning Lucy who immediately began playing around with it as per her sister's orders. Neo laughed at their frowns and kissed her daughter's head.
The older Huntsmen looked out the large window, both in contemplation of the Captains of this ship, and to see if they could see how far the Nexus was with their new vantage point. A hint: it was really far.
Blake went to a random console to see what she could find, incidentally picking the same one her other version would one day use when stationed on the Enterprise. That was before she was shoved off by a grinning Amber. After that, everyone got the picture and left the older children to their game, though Alice and Adrian pouted at not being able to play with them.
They took to their roles rather easily in their game; with Altani as Captain, Lucy in Weapons, Amber in Communications, and Peridot/Garnet in Navigation.
Back with the Yang and the others who had stayed behind, she was reading the book with NRP wanting to know about Ryu's adventures onboard his new ship. After turning a page that had her son killing the Romulans that murdered her husband, she found a list of names along with pictures of some very attractive females. "What the hell?" She blinked in surprise, earning looks from her friends as she turned to book over to show the god. "Hey Jack, who're all these women?"
Jack looked at the page, and said "Oh, that's a list of all the women Ryujin had relations with."
Yang widened her eyes. "What?! But there's gotta like…" She paused to count the names. "19 girls here! You're telling me that my baby boy fucked all these women?" She stopped to ponder at her remark as Pyrrha blushed in mortification, "Actually, I'm rather proud of that. He obviously got his looks from Jaune, but with my fiery personality no woman would've resisted." She grinned, then frowned. "Still though."
Jack shrugged, "Well actually, I think he only had sex with 4 or 5 of those women, I said relations, not sexual intercourse."
Yang shrugged, then looked at one picture in particular. "Well, looks like a certain cat has some explaining to do." Right there, staring back at her with a small smile, was a picture of Blake. 'Oh, she is never gonna live this down.' (1)
After several hours, everyone eventually came back to the viewing section; and after some words from a smug (if pissed) Yang towards a horrified Blake, Jack decided to show another universe.
"Alright," he said as he held a blue orb, "this universe is a little wacky, but is a lighthearted one so the children shouldn't worry. Also, no Grimm."
The parents were glad for that.
The screen lights up to show the sun, then pans down to a quant two story house.
A man can be heard humming as the views pans over to show a man that immediately shocked Ren and Nora to the core.
"Father?" Ren asks in astonishment as a few tears begin to form. Nora quickly gives him a hug in an effort to calm him down.
Alice, seeing her 'Anti Wenny' being sad, got down from her momma's lap, and walked over to Ren. Stopping by his feet, she grabs his pants and gives them a few tugs.
Ren, feeling the tugs, looks down. He sees Alice looking at him with a tiny frown. She lets go and holds her arms up. "Up." Ren smiles a bit and picks her up. She smiles and like Nora, give Ren a great big hug. That seemed to do the trick as Ren was no longer feeling down at seeing his father. "Thanks sweetie." "No pwoblem, Anti Wenny." *Sigh*.
Li Ren, or rather Li Arc, is seen walking towards his car with a box of what everyone assumed was some unwanted crap. "So, what are you boys thinking of doing today?" He says, looking offscreen.
"Huh, wonder who he's talking to?" Saphron asks.
The views swishes over to show child versions of Jaune and Ren.
She, Terra, Pyrrha, Adrian, Alice, and Nora all squealed at the adorable sight of the two.
Ruby gushed. "Aww, they look so cute~." Yang, Velvet, and some of the mothers did the same, much to Ren's embarrassment.
Salem and Ozpin gave a quiet chuckle.
"Uh," Weiss said as she tilts her head a bit in confusion, "why are they standing on their heads?" No one had an answer to that, but ignored it for seeing the adorable sight.
Jaune groaned. "Uh...we don't know...it's too hot to think..." He says in boredom. (Lucy: "Why don't they just head inside for some ice-cream then?")
Li chuckles. "Yeah, your mom and I are getting rid of a few old things at the antique store, but I think I've got just what you need."
He sets the box down and searches through it. The scene quickly changes to show a small plastic or wooden pine tree on top of a chair, two orbs on either side of it. "A snow cone machine just like when I was a kid!" He says with a flourish of a hand and Jaune and Ren look at the thing with wonder in their eyes.
Weiss awed at the sight. "You're right Ruby, they are adorable~!"
Willow and Kali smiled, remembering when their children were that little. *Sigh* 'I want another one.' They both thought.
Lucy gave a fist pump as her suggestion was taken seriously. "Oh yeah, ice-cream is the answer for everything!" Neo grinned and nodded in agreement as Roman rubbed the bridge of his nose. 'Ugh, the bills for ice-cream, and now there's two of them.'
Jaune looks up, "How does it work?" He asks, a bit impatient in using it as he smiles while bouncing a bit. (Pyrrha: "Aww, just be patient Jaune.")
Li picks up a cardboard cone and smiles. "Well, you pour the ice in here, you give it a crank, add some syrup, and boom!" He cranks the handle, and adds some blue syrup before handing to Jaune. "Snow cones for everyone~."
Suddenly, a car horn could be heard beeping. The view switches over to the car, where a woman could be seen with a soft smile on her face.
Saph blinked. "Mom?" She asks while Alice and Adrian squealed "Gwandma!"
Raven raised an eyebrow, especially when Robin shivered a bit in fear. 'Why is my baby so afraid? Is this woman that strong?' She still remembered experiencing a bit of her daughter's power, so to see her practically wilting before her had her curious.
The screen showed the face of a beautiful woman, with slight wavy blond hair, dark blue eyes, young features that made many women feel slight jealousy, and a thin silver necklace with matching earrings. With how the view is showing, no one could tell what she was wearing.
"Wow." Yang said as she blinked in surprise. "Didn't expect Mrs. Arc to be so young-looking."
Coco gave a thumbs up for the woman's hair and accessories. "Now that's a woman who knows how to style."
Aurelia (2) yells out "Honey? We need to go. The antique show closes in just 12 hours."
Ren and Saph blinks. "Wait, they're married?" the two say at the same time.
Jack nods, "Yep." he grins at Ren. "Which make you and Jaune stepbrothers."
Ren smiles a bit at that, while Nora cheers at the news. No one wanted to ask what happened to their original spouses, either out of respect or lack of care.
Li nods. "Okay, kids. I'll leave you in charge of the machine. And be easy on your sister? She's been a bit on edge lately." He asks them as he walks to the car, while picking up the discarded box. A few seconds later, and the car pulls out of the driveway. Just then, a familiar, if younger, blond peaks out a nearby window in suspicion.
Terra chuckles. "Oh hey, it's you dear. And what's with the look on your face?" Saphron could only shrug in confusion while Adrian giggles at her mom's face.
The view switches back to the boys as Ren quietly takes a bite out of his snow cone. Jaune looks at his treat with a small grin. "Wow. Snow in July." Je says in wonder, then his eyes lit up in excitement as out of nowhere an Angelic chorus is heard. "That's it! I know what we're going to do today!" He looks at his brother with a smile, then back to his cone with a little frown. "We're gonna need a lot more ice."
Glynda raises an eyebrow, "Now what could that mean?" She and Ren didn't know why, but it felt like the start of one of Ozpin's/Nora's schemes.
Saphron, wearing a light blue shirt, medium white skirt, and tennis shoes, walks up to her brothers and asks "What is all this?" in a distrustful tone. (Terra: "Whoa, where'd that come from?")
Jaune smiles at her older sister and lifts up his cone. "It's a snow cone! You want some?"
The mothers cooed at the sight. Many were taking sone pictures as it was too cute not to.
Saphron scoffs and turns away. "You mean crushed ice-covered blue carbs? Lame~." She then walks away.
Saph frowns at her other's actions. She felt a sudden little hit on her shoulder. She looks down to see Adrian frowning at her. "Meanie." She mock gasps and gives him a short tickle in retaliation, earning a little giggle from her baby boy.
With a shrug, unbothered by his sister's tone, Jaune looks around. "Maybe Zwei wants some." (Ruby/Yang/Weiss: "Zwei?" "Arf!") But he notices he's missing and turns to Ren, who somehow has a small hill of crushed ice next to him, the little machine's crank the only thing not buried under the growing pile of crushed ice as the boy continuously cranks it. "Hey, where's Zwei?"
Weiss looks worried, "Oh no, where could Zwei be?"
Ruby though waved off the concern, "Eh, I wouldn't worry about it. Zwei can take care of himself. Can't you boy?" She looks to her dog as he wags his tail next to her.
Yang nodded. "Yep, he's a strong dog. What I'm worried about is just what the hell they're planning with all that ice."
Blake just grumbled as she too was more worried about the boys' plan.
Cuts to Zwei, who's just lying on the ground asleep next to a connected hose wrapped up like a snake. ("See?") He takes a small peak, and seeing no one around, gets up on his hind legs and puts on a fedora.
Ruby, Tai, and Yang blink as they see their dog stand on two legs. "Wait huh?" the former asks as Weiss and Coco squeals at the little accessory. "Oh, now that looks so cute on his little head!"
Alice and Adrian laughed at the corgi wearing that funny hat.
He turns the nob and quickly steps inside the hose circle and goes down a secret entrance. The scene switches over to Zwei sliding down a green tinted tube as a large room is seen.
Everyone looks at all the gadgets in the large space. But a few were looking at the large plasma screen, more importantly, who's in the monitor. "Uhhh." Winter starts as she weakly points to the screen.
Major Ironwood looked at Zwei as he lands on his feet and front flips over to his seat. (Nora: "And it's good!"): "Good morning, Agent Z."
Ruby gasps, "Zwei's a secret agent!" She grins as she picks up a confused corgi and squeezes him.
Weiss looks to her sister, then to Jack. "Alright, so Zwei's a secret agent, does that mean General-" "Major." "What?" She blinks at the interruption. "Yeah, James is only a Major here." Weiss coughs behind her hand as James frowns. "Alright, so Major Ironwood is what, his handler?"
Jack shakes his head, "Nope. James is in charge of a secret branch of the military that specializes in training various animals into becoming secret agents."
James' eye twitched at his apparent demotion. 'I cannot seriously be in charge of a bunch of animals! I'm a General, not a Zoo keeper!'
Qrow on the other hand loved this. He laughed, "HAHA, oh that just takes the cake! Congrats Jimmy, haha, you're in charge of a spy agency entirely made up of animals! Ha!" Raven, Cinder, and some of the other villains joined in as James bristles.
Jack smirks. "Oh I wouldn't be chucking stones yet." He points at Qrow. "Not only are you also a part of the agency, but you're also 'Jimmy's' intern." Now Glynda, Winter, Tai, Ruby, Yang, and Summer joined in as Qrow looked at the god in horror. Even James chuckled a bit at that.
"I'll get right to it. This time, we're worried about Dr. Xiao Long buying laser pointers. I mean, 2 or 3 of them would be fine, but he just put in an order for 18,000 of them?! Only a crazed, evil and diabolical mind would do that. Sure you'll know what to do, Agent Z." Zwei gives a crisp salute and runs off. (Tai: "Wait, what? I'm a bad guy in this?")
Back in the backyard, Ren is seen adding more ice cubes into a funnel that's connected to the machine as well as an engine that's powering an automatic crank. All around him, several fans and air conditioners are continuously blowing cold air on something offscreen.
Ren sighs while Nora is in awe, feeling like this was somehow his girlfriend's idea. 'I know Jaune was the one who made it, but I still think it's Nora's fault somehow.'
Blake looks at all the equipment and wires with surprise. "How the hell did those two set all that stuff up so fast?"
Weiss shakes her head, "Forget the equipment, how are they ever going to explain the power bill to their parents?"
As the screen moves to the side, Jaune is shown looking at their work with pride. Just then a child Cinder shows up with a little smile and wave. "Hey, Jaune."
Emerald and Cinder stop laughing at the sight of the latter's younger self. "Uhhh, ma'am?"
Cinder ignores her as she looks at her other with surprised eyes. "I almost forgot how beautiful I was that age." Yep, not even going to question that.
Jaune turns around and greets her with a happy smile. "Hi Cinder."
Cinder clasps her hands together in a sweet stance and asks, "Whatcha doin'~?"
Cinder immediately scowled seeing her other's stance. "What. The hell. Is this?" Emerald tried to calm her down by saying how cute she looked, but a burning glare shut her up as her twins gulped.
Cinder wasn't the only one unamused at the sight. Pyrrha, Yang, and a few others scowled as well, not liking the way the girl's eyes lit up. A part of them did feel bad since they were getting angry at the actions of a child, but the larger part ignored it.
Jaune lifts his arms in a grand pose. "We're making S'Winter!" He announced, much to everyone's confusion. (Roman: "The hell's S'Winter?")
A confused Cinder puts a finger to her bottom lip ("Don't do that me!"). "What's 'S'Winter'?"
Ren, while dumping more ice into the funnel, says "It's a unique logic-defying union of Winter and Summer."
Winter and Summer looked a bit uncomfortable as they took that the wrong way. Tai though had a slight nosebleed. 'Bad thoughts! Bad thoughts!'
Klein pulls on his collar a bit. "Goodness gracious me." Maria smirked and leaned over to whisper a few words. Judging by the atomic blush on his face, it was a bit steamy.
Jaune nods. "Why have snow in the winter when it's too cold to enjoy it?" (Weiss: "I, actually agree with his statement")
Cinder smirks ("That's more like it."). "You guys are gonna need some help." She turns to the side and whistles. In an instant child versions of Emerald, Neo, Eve, and Ilia appear to help as they each carry various snow equipment.
"What the hell am I wearing?!" Eve shouts as she sees her other wearing what she thought was, *shudder*, a girl scout uniform. 'If anyone tried to force me in that, I'd kill them without a second thought.'
Emerald grimaced at her other's clothes. "Oh don't be like that Emerald," Cinder says sarcastically, "you look cute." The grimace got worse, especially as her twins laughed.
Neo and Ilia shrugged, they actually liked the look.
The screen switches over to Saphron as she sits in front of her computer while talking on the phone near a window. "I think cheerleaders are overrated anyway. I mean, being gorgeous and popular? Does that matter in the real world-? What is going on out there?!" (Summer: "Ah, the worries of a civilian teenager.") Suddenly her room, which was being kept well-lit by the sun outside shining through her window, turned dark as something slowly blocked it. ("That cannot be a good sign." "Where's your sense of adventure Renny?")
Cut to the backyard briefly as Jaune and Cinder look offscreen with happiness "Woah! This looks great!" He shouts with glee.
Back in Saphron's room, the girl struggles to open her window and manages to do so with a final grunt, but is very quickly buried in snow.
Saphron facepalms as Terra laughs. "Jaune, what did you do?"
Nora though, grinned. "Ren, what did you do?!"
Alice was clapping her hands at the sight of snow while Ren buried his head in his hands with a muffled groan.
(Song: "S'Winter")
Saphron, popping up from the unexpected snow with a gasp, coughed a bit as she shivered. "What the heck is this?" She struggled, and succeeded, in freeing her body and crawled to the window. There she looked outside, and panting said "Jaune! What's going on out here?!"
Ren and Jaune smiled as the blonde answered his sister "It's Summer and Winter together. It's S'Winter!"
Well, there's snow on the ground, there's sleigh bells all around.
But the sun's beating down.
'Cause it's S'Winter.
Everyone was shocked. "Where'd all that snow come from?!" Weiss and Blake shouted as they see a veritable winter wonderland.
Yang laughs at it. "That's so cool, a mountain in their backyard!" She grins, ignoring he groans from her friends as she sees a kid making a snow angel and falls through the snow.
Salem blinked in surprise, 'Did those two use Magic? There is no way that little machine managed to crush enough ice to create all this.' She squinted her eyes a bit, "Is that a snowman taking a tan?" This world is weird.
It's ski and snowball fight time, and also fly a kite time.
Cold and sunny, yes, that's right
I'm talking about S'Winter.
The sight of kids throwing snowballs while others flying kites were getting the audience a bit of a headache. So seeing a young Mercury throwing a frozen water balloon at a young Roman was even more hilarious than it should've been.
"HAHAHAHA!" Cinder and Emerald couldn't stop laughing at a blushing Mercury, same with RWBY for Roman.
Eventually Emerald, Cinder, and Neo skate into view while showing Jaune and Ren in marching band uniforms playing trumpets ("Oh my gosh, Renny you look so cute~! We gotta find you a uniform like that!" "Nora, no!" "Nora Yes!"), showing everyone who was singing.
The very idea of Cinder singing got Emerald to shut right up. Now it was Cinder's turn to blush. 'Great, my other just had to showcase my secret hobby.' She scowled at Tyrian's and Watts' laughter. 'I'll never live this down I just know it.'
It's a S'Winter S'Wonderland, unusual and grand.
You can freeze while you get tanned
Because it's S'Winter.
As Cinder sings, Emerald and Neo pop up over her shoulders singing "Ba, ba!" a few times in the background.

The song ends with Jaune and Ren finishing their instruments, with the former grinning at her sister. "Some people call it 'Wummer'!"
Weiss and Whitley gave a few claps in appreciation of the song, same with Alice and Adrian who loved it.
Cinder was blushing uncontrollably as her secret was exposed.
Pyrrha grinded her teeth in jealousy. 'Why can't I sing beautifully like that?!' She thought. (3)
Saphron deadpanned. "I'm calling Mom, you know." ("Sweetheart, don't be like that.") She starts dialing the phone but stops when she sees Terra in ski equipment. "Terra?" ("Oh hey cool, I finally show up in one of these!")
Terra turns around and smiles, "Hey, Saphron. You want to go skiing?"
Saphron gulps and shakes her head in fear. "Oh, I'd love to, but, uh, but I am deathly afraid of heights."
Jaune's friends blink in surprise. "Oh, so you got it too."
Saphron blushes in embarrassment. "Hey, Acrophobia (4) is a much more common problem than people let on." She said, not knowing that what she said was almost exactly what Jaune said to Ruby on their first day.
Terra frowns a bit. "Bummer. Well, see you later, then. Dee Dee, wait up!" She shouts as she and another woman goes to a ski lift and sits together. ("Wait, who the hell's that Terra?" "I don't know!")
Saphron gasps, "Dee Dee?" She quickly dials her phone to her best friend. "Winter? Who's Dee Dee?"
"Oh my," Whitely said with genuine surprise, "my sister has a friend?"
Winter turned to her brother, "What's that supposed to mean little brother?" She couldn't help but be insulted at that, especially when Qrow started to laugh and gave her brother a thumbs up. "For your information, I do have friends!" "HAHAHA!"
She waits as Winter tells her all she knows. "An Atlassian exchange student?!" She groans a bit while holding her head. "I gotta go." 'Crap.' She hangs up, takes a deep breath, and turns around with a smile so fake everyone couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. "Hey, wait for me!" She shouts as she runs to the ski lift.
"Let me through! Let me through! Oh, out of my way!" She shouts at the line of people as she jumps into a seat next to a surprised Yang. Grumbling, she sits upright while glaring at her trembling hands, "My brothers are just driving me crazy!"
Yang scoffs and rolls her eyes. "You should try spending an hour with my dad sometime."
Tai pouts, "Words hurt, Yang." He says as Summer rubs his back in comfort.
His daughter rubs the back of her head in embarrassment and slight shame. "Sorry dad."
Saphron then looks down and screams. "Oh, I had no idea this thing was so high!" She then grabs her seatbelt and proceeds to tie a knot around her waist to secure herself. "There." At that moment, they reached the top and Yang jumped off with a smirk, but Saph had a slight problem.
"Great. Here we go." She apparently tied her knot a little too well as she couldn't get herself out, and was now stuck to her seat as it turned around and started to head back down the mountain. "Wait! Wait, wait, wait! No, no, no, nooooo!"
Saph sighed while Terra giggled. "You know what? I think that's karma for how your other treated her brothers earlier." Her wife said, getting a nod from Saph.
The scene then switches to show a large yellow building with a large saying Xiao Long Evil Inc., complete with a catchy jingle.
Xiao Long Evil Incorporated!
It then switches to Tai as he drums his fingers together with an evil smirk.
"Huh." Tai said as he looked at his other with a frown. "Gotta say, I don't really look like an evil scientist here. I look more like an evil pharmacist."
Tai then say, "As soon as he walks through that front door, no more Zwei the Corgi." A piano plays ominously as the audience sees a piano being held precariously over the front door in an obvious trap, much to the horror of Yang, Weiss, and Ruby ("Zwei no!"). Though Blake seems ok with the idea of a piano falling on top of Zwei.
While the majority of the students were afraid for the little dog's safety, the Huntsmen were confused at who was playing the piano.
Klein blinked in surprise. "Why am I playing that piano?" He said with a bit of fear as Maria takes his hand in worry.
"It's genius, right? He turns around with glee and sees Agent Z and facepalms. "O-Oh, I told Maria to keep the back door locked!" He clears his throat and takes out a tape recorder. "Note to self; My evil deed for tomorrow: Fire the maid." ("Well screw you too buddy.")
He looks back at Zwei, "What are you looking at?" As Zwei takes a fighting stance, he shakes his hand and pulls a rope. "Not so fast, Zwei the Corgi!" Immediately, a brown sludge is dropped on top of the dog and quickly hardens.
Everyone looked at the scene with disgust, thinking that the man had just dumped shit on the dog. Zwei looks at his master with a look of betrayal.
Tai looked at his other with horror. "What the hell man?"
"Don't worry, it's not what you think. It's just my special recipe for quick-hardening chocolate!"
At that everyone calmed down. "Thank Oum it was only chocolate, thought it was something else." Yang said, getting nods from many who thought the same.
He kneels down to the Zwei statue, and whispers "Between you and me, my popularity has plummeted to an all-time low." He pulls a cord behind him which shows a chart with Tai's smiling face and a red arrow going progressively down until it stops to point to a picture of a toilet, much to the amusement of everyone who knows him. He then stands up with a grin, "But everybody loves chocolate! What if I could recreate chocolate in my own image? Behold!"
The walks to a large red button and presses it. The scene goes to the roof as a large machine is raised that has thousands of laser pointers just taped to the thing. "The Melt-inator 6-500! Powered by thousands of laser pointers!"
The scene switches bask to the two as Tai raises a finger. "It has a melting capacity...of 7! That's on a scale of 1-5, so that's a big number. Here, watch this." He turns on a screen and a simulation is seen. "I Collect my harvest through the city streets, where it will be processed with my secret ingredients to produce the most irresistible confection in the Tri-State Area." It shows the thing firing at a chocolate store, melting everything including the sign, and the resulting sludge moving to the sewer grate nearby much to the disgust to everyone who loves chocolate. The simulation continues with the sludge getting picked up by mine carts and hauled over to a refinery, which is dumped into another machine along with other ingredients including fish.
Blake, Alice, Sienna, and Kali drooled at the fish. "That's got to be the tastiest chocolate in the world." Blake said.
Yang and the other students made faces of disgust, "Ugh, how's fish flavored chocolate irresistible? Gross." "Shut up Yang!"
It then shows a hand as a chocolate shaped like Tai is dropped on it. "Now do you understand what you are up against?" He says as he turns back to Zwei, but sees him with the same expression. "Come on, you didn't get any of that? You didn't get any of that?" Tai sighs as he rolls his eyes. "Okay, I will start again. First of all, my popularity is an all-time low. Y-You got that, right? Okay. Then-"
"Why's dad explaining everything again?" Ruby asks as she scratched Zwei's head. "Doesn't he know that Zwei trapped in chocolate wasn't going to get any of that in the first place?"
Weiss shakes her head. "Just let it go Ruby, let it go."
Back to the backyard, Saph is seen tying tennis rackets to her shoes. "Alright. That should do it. I'll just walk all the way up to the top. Nothing will stand in my way." She starts to walk to the top, but the snow was too light, and she was just walking into the mountain. "Why is it so dark out here?" A horse and sleigh ram her head, earning laughs from the children. "Ow! Oh, that hurts!" She pops her head up while shaking it. Then she grins. "Wait a minute. I got it!" She has Cardin ride her up the mountain like a pack mule. "He-ee-ee-ee" Saphron chuckles creepily as she smiles.
All the students laughs at the sight of a small Cardin strapped to a sleigh like a dog. Yang and Coco pointed at the screen, while Nora is taking pictures. No one laughed harder than Blake and Velvet though, who were in tears as they had trouble breathing.
Cutting back to Tai and Agent Z, it shows the man finishing his explanation again. "With my Melt-inator 6500. There. Did you get it that time?" Silence. The man sighs and walks away. "Well, I'm not going over it a third time." ("Wait, you told your plans 3 times?" "Shut up Qrow.") "Time to get started."
He presses a few buttons, and the small screen that showed the simulation shows an image of a truck with a very large chocolate bar roped on its flatbed. "At this very moment, the world's largest chocolate bar is passing through town on the way to The Smithsonian, but it will never arrive! In 5, 4, 3-" He glances over his shoulder to see if Zwei would stop him.
The villains were a bit amused, but were growing frustrated at the so called 'evil scientist'.
Cinder sighed, "He could've been done by now if he hadn't stopped to explain his plans three times to a statue."
He sighs, "2 1/2, 2 1/4." He turns around with a sad expression. "Is that it? Is that-you're not going to do anything? You're just going to stand there like a dead fish?"
"Well what'd you expect? He's trapped." Salem deadpans as Tai hides his face in his hands in shame, not wanting to see this any longer.
Watts rubs the bridge of his nose. 'He's making a mockery of scientists everywhere.'
"I'm giving you a chance to do something here!" He walks over to the statue, but seeing it not move he groans and goes back to his button. "Oh forget it! Man, this used to be more fun. 1 1/2, 1 1/4! You know, in some cultures, it's considered rude not to particip-" He couldn't finish his berating as Agent Z kicks Tai in the chin, causing the man to double over in pain. ("Go Zwei!" "Hey, come on. It's my face getting pummeled, have some sympathy for your old man.")
"Ugh! Zwei the Corgi? But how did you-" He looks at his statue, only to see that the butt part had been eaten. Tai gasps, "You ate your own ass?" He get up with a grunt and quickly turns the crank next to him.
A few laugh at the man's observation, but a few were confused at just how a small dog managed to eat his way out of his prison through the back without being noticed or moving.
Nora gasps, "You don't think Zwei has a second mouth in his butt do you?" The thought had many shiver as Blake deadpanned towards her friend. "Thanks for the nightmare fuel, Nora."
"I must aim it! Quickly!" (Cinder: "He didn't even aim it yet!")
He aims it at the world's largest chocolate bar, but Zwei pushes a button which cranks up the speed, causing the crank to go out of control and smacking his chin several times before sending the man flying. He crashes into a surprised Zwei as the Melt-inator aims its weapon at the Arc car with a large clock strapped to the roof.
Coco immediately recoiled at the sight of the monstrosity. "That is not a clock, that is a crime against all clocks everywhere!" Ozpin couldn't help but agree. His office is inside a clock tower basically, and he'd kill anyone who'd try to remodel it to look like that thing strapped to the car.
Ren and Saphron were worried for their parents. They didn't know what that thing could do to humans. 'It did manage to melt a metal sign.'
Onscreen, Li is seen smiling as he hums a bit. "The kids are going to love this cuckoo clock. Oh, I wish you'd let me buy the large one." He pouts a bit before the Melt-inator fires, melting the tires of the car and making Aurelia scream as the car slowly comes to a halt.
Li blinks as he looks ahead in shock. "Maybe we should pull over and see what's going on." The two get out, and they see that the tires had melted for some strange reason. "That's weird." Li says as he looks at the rubber slag with a tiled head.
Aurelia smirks at her husband, "Good thing we also bought those 4 spare tires, huh?" (Ruby: "Wait, wouldn't those tires also be melted?")
Back in S'Winterville, Cardin and Saphron finally make it to the top.
Saphron grins before taking something out of her pocket. "Thanks, Cardin." She tosses him a dog treat, which he snatches out of the air with his mouth and chews on it, much to the students' amusement.
As the students laugh and pat the back of a confused Saphron, Glynda couldn't help but smile at the absurdity of it all. Alice giggled as she pointed at the screen, making Glynda laugh.
Ozpin shook his head in amusement, "Oh the irony of that."
"Now all I need to do is find my Terra." ("A bit possessive of me aren't you?" "Shup up Terra.") She looks around, only to see her crush talking to Dee Dee. "Oh no! She's talking to Dee Dee! I gotta put a stop to this!" She starts to run towards them with a smile. "Oh, Terra!"
However, she didn't know where she was walking towards and slips on the ice beneath her, making her glide past the two. "Wait! Terra!"
Terra looks behind her in confusion. "You hear something?"
Saphron screams as she slides towards an edge and falls off a cliff. "Why- does- this- keep- happening- to me?!" As she drops, she manages to hit various snow piles and a few bushes with every word she yells.
The Arcs couldn't help but wince at every impact. Adrian covers his eyes, "Ouchies!"
Finally, she lands in a hole in a frozen lake and a nearby fisherman pulls her up now frozen. (Winter: "Wait what? Where'd that lake come from? Isn't this all supposed to be in some children's backyard?")
The fisherman takes one look at a frozen Saphron and shrugs. "Too scrawny. Throw it back." And he does so to the indignation of the Saphron in the audience ("Scrawny?!").
As the human popsicle slides on the ice, everyone could see the pain the girl was in. Just then Terra skates past her with Dee Dee, not taking notice of the frozen girl next to her.
Saph pouts, "That's just hurtful." Terra chuckles a bit in embarrassment as she tries to explain herself.
Ruby giggled as she glanced at Weiss. Said girl noticed, and glared. "If I ever get frozen like that, I expect you to get me out."
Ruby nods, "Don't worry, already got a chisel and hammer back in our dorms."
"Very good… Wait what?"
"Wow, Dee Dee! You're a great skier!" Saphron, seeing her crush just ignoring her for that other girl, gets angry and makes the ice melt with her fury alone, and collides with Jaune and Ren snowboarding, making her scream.
Jaune looks up in surprise, but quickly smiles at seeing his older sister. "Hey, Saph! Glad you could join us! This is gonna be great!" He goes back to steering the board as she continues to scream. They then run into a snowman but Saphron was the only one who got hit despite her brothers being ahead of her. The two look down at their own bodies, at a Saph who looks like she's cosplaying as Frosty the Snowman, then each other. "Now how did that miss us?"
Yang giggled. "That was great."
Whitley, "That is a rather interesting question though. How did that snowman miss those two?"
No one had an answer to that, nor for what happened next.
They then run into a tree, which hits Saphron, but again missed the boys. Now she looks like a pine tree. "Uh, ok? That's just weird." Jaune says as he notices that Saph was the only one to get pine needles stuck to her.
"Hold on!" The younger blonde shouts as they freefall off a cliff, much to the shock of everyone, as both Saphrons scream as the one onscreen was dangling off the board. They land with a bounce, causing the terrified girl to fly a bit and land on Ren's head. "That's the spirit!" Jaune shouts as he saw what their sister was doing.
Penny was trying to think of how any of this was scientifically possible. 'Ow, my brain!'
Saph continues to scream as they land on a sled track, catching up to a bobsled team. Jaune and Ren, with Saph still clinging onto the latter's head, had to walk on top of the team's heads as their board went underneath the sled. "'Scuse me, Bob. Pardon me, Bob. One side, Bob. Whoopsy Daisy. There we go. It's a bobsled."
Yang and Tai laughed at the joke.
Willow smiled, "At least those two are being polite as they walk on top of their heads." She, like a few other, didn't question what they were watching and instead were simply enjoying the show.
They then go down a ramp and Jaune notices that Saphron is missing. "Uh, have you seen Saph?" He asks Ren who shakes his head ("Where'd my other go?!"). He looks down and notices Saphron under the sled. "Oh, hey! Here she is! You rock, Saph! I didn't even know that was possible."
Saph was starting to hyperventilate at all the heights being shown, causing her wife and son to try to calm her down.
Nora, Yang, and Coco meanwhile were cheering as they saw the impressive display. "Holy crap, I wanna do that!" All three yell, and Ren, Tai, and Velvet quickly tried to dissuade them from doing just that.
Qrow blinked. "Huh. I am not, nearly drunk enough for what's about to happen." He expected the girl to be crushed underneath the two and the board.
Penny started to twitch as she continued to try to make sense of everything.
They then bounce off a hot-air balloon that came out of nowhere, and sailed up over some clouds. Jaune points to the imprint they left on the cloud as he and Ren were dangling off either side of the board and Saph clutching onto the front with a death grip. "Hey, look! A cloud angel!"
They begin to fall, and bounce off the balloon again in a different direction. "Now this is what I call free-styling!"
Saph faints as she sees her other no longer on the board and was simply flying over the sky in a continuous somersault. Pyrrha and Nora gripped their seats in fear as thy see their loves in a similar situation.
Yang was in awe at the move, "That's so cool!"
The robot-turned-girl finally just gave up in frustration. "All of this is physically impossible!" She shouts in a rare expression of anger.
Ruby tried to calm her down, but her actions would be in vain as they see what happened next.
They land on the first-place podium with apparently no injuries and the crowd cheers ("Are you joking?!"). "Nice run, guys!" and "Totally awesome!" were heard as the three got off the podium.
Saphron was really shaken up from the experience. 'Never again. Oh please, don't make me relive that!'
Terra then walks up to her with an awed expression. "Holy crap, that was so cool!"
Shaking off her worst fear come to life like it was nothing, Saphron grins as her crush was talking to her. *Snorts* "Really?" She was so giddy, she forgot all about what she had just experienced. (Summer: "Wow. Not even a second after living through that, and she's already back on her feet.")
Terra nods, "Oh yeah, you're quite the S'Winter athlete." She turns to the side as the mystery girl walks up to them. "By the way, have you met Dee Dee?"
Saphron annoyingly says "I don't believe I've had the pleasure." She crosses her arms as she begins to glare at the girl stealer.
The girl takes off her goggles and hat, revealing her to be a he. "Derek Dukensson. But you can call me D. D." He smiles as he offers a hand.
Everyone was shocked.
"Woah wait! Hold up!" Yang gives a time out signal with her hands. "You mean to tell me that that girl was a dude?!" 'His hair is more luxurious than my own!'
Penny, after calming down, blinked. "Oh my, I did not expect that." 'Though compared to what I saw before, this is a more welcomed one.'
Saphron gawks a bit in surprise, then collects herself and shakes the offered hand.: Oh, nice to meet you, D. D."
She giggles, and a car horn honking is heard. Saph grins, "Mom and Dad? Back already?" She squeals, "This is going to be the bestest day ever!" She runs off, hoping to bust her brothers for what they did to their backyard.
"Is it me, or does she seem far more invested in tattling on her brothers that she should be?" Kali asks, not knowing that the impossible stuff they saw was what those two did every day.
Ghira nods in agreement, not getting it either.
Cutting back to X.L. Inc, Tai was seen with a black eye both looking triumphantly. "You almost foiled my plan!" It switches over to Agent Z, showing the dog to be wrapped up in a sort of pink rope-like substance. "Luckily, I had an extra can of sticky string to subdue you."
Back to Tai, the man looks down and became sheepish. "Oops, I forgot to plug it in." He noticed that the machine wasn't plugged in to the wall yet (Mercury: "Wow, all that and he didn't even plug it in, what a dumbass."). "Hehe, I always wait 'till the last minute 'cause it takes a lot of power-" He plugs it in, only for the electricity to go out in Arcadia.
Back to the backyard, the fans and air conditioners stopped working, and Mount S'Winter began to melt.
Whitley blinked in surprise as he sees the mountain quickly melting before his eyes. "Incredible. Those coolers were more instrumental to the structural integrity of that mountain than I first thought."
People clamored and moaned in disappointment. "Aw, man!..." a few shouts were made as they saw their fun ending.
Cinder waves her hand, "Hey, everybody! My Mom's got hot chocolate!" The people now cheered, while the Cinder in the audience tensed at the mention of her mother.
Focusing on Saphron, the teenager was breathing heavily. "Mom! Dad! Hee-ee-ee-ee... Look at what Jaune and Ren did to the backyard!" She shouts as she points to the backyard.
Li, with Aurelia helping him move the absurd and gaudy clock, grunted "Just a second, Saphron!" As they moved towards the front door, Mount S'Winter was continuing to melt in the background.
Saphron was getting impatient though. "Hurry, hurry! Come on, come on! They used a snow cone machine to build-"
Li interrupted her as they were getting closer to the door. "Do you mind opening the door for us sweetie?"
"She's running out of time." Maria stated the obvious with a bored expression. She didn't want to see the creative boys get in trouble. 'After all, they didn't hurt anybody.'
The snow floods out the gate as the three get inside.
Li looks at the clock with pride. "Well honey, what do you think?"
Saphron goes out back, but with her attention still on her parents. "Mom, Dad! Hurry up! It's a mixture of Winter and Summer!" She closes eyes as she flourishes a hand in a reveal. "They call it: S'Winter."
Li and Aurelia poke their heads out, but are confused at what they're seeing. "I'd think that'd be "Wummer", wouldn't it?" Li mutters.
Stunned, Saphron looks back to see Jaune and Ren at the normal snow cone machine. The two were smiling as they each ate a snow cone (Lucy: "I want one~!"). The giant cuckoo clock suddenly chimes, the bird smashing through the window next to a frowning Saphron.
Many were laughing at the symbolism they were seeing. Just then, Saphron woke up from her little nap. "What-What happened?"
Terra giggled as she stroked her wife's back. "Nothing sweetie."
No one questioned how all that snow melted without making a mess of mud everywhere.
Jaune smiled at his brother. "You know what, Ren? Today was the best S'Winter day ever." He goes back to his frozen treat, but sees Saphron walking over to them. "Last chance, Saph."
Saphron takes the offered cone without a word, and splats her face into it ("NOO! How dare she waste the holy treat!").
Jaune shrugged off his sister's odd behavior, and smiles as Zwei walks up to him. "Oh! There you are, Zwei." He says as the dog plops down and rests his little head on his owner's lap.
The screen turns black and the orb is released.
Jack takes it as Weiss raises an eyebrow, "So that was it?" Jack nods with a "Yep" as he puts the orb away.
A light appears on a pedestal, and once it dissipates, the festive snow cone machine is seen on top of it, which reminded the god. "Oh yeah, that's right." He hums, "it's that time again huh?" He turns to a curious audience, as his outfit switches to a Santa costume. "Time for gifts once more!"

And another one bites the dust! So as to avoid any confusion, Aurelia is Arc by blood, while Li married into the family. Now the next chapter is the Holiday one, however due to the amount of gifts, as well as the holiday that's coming up and work, I won't be able to post it for a few weeks at least. Definitely not New Years Day like I hoped. Anyway, hope you all liked this one, and have a wonderful New Years!

1. I'd like to point out that this list is for women in the timeline that wasn't changed (which is about 20 women). Apparently Kirk and Uhura shared a deep kiss one time, and that was enough to be in the book. Again, I don't know Star Trek, so I don't know how the kiss happened, or the leadup to it.
2. Aurelia: French for Golden. I think anyway. There are names that're spelled similarly, one is Latin which makes it a bit confusing. But I'm gonna go with this one since Jaune and Saphron doesn't have any accented letters while the Latin one does.
3. Pyrrha has the same voice as Agent Carolina, who admitted to being a shitty singer, so I went with that.
