Chapter Fourteen
Charlie's location…
"Are you almost done?" The guard asked Charlie.
Charlie was annoyed by the question, as it had been two hours, but he still was looking for other information and hacking was not as quick as people think it is, most of the time, anyway.
"Getting close," Charlie lied, as it would take him at least another hour before he could get the necessary fake information to give to their captors, as he knew that sooner or later, Amita and the FBI would decode his message to them, if they even got.
'Don't think that, Charlie, they got it and will soon be on their way, Don and Jack and the entire case depend on it.' Charlie silently chastised himself as he continued to work, determined to get the next step to get them all out of this mess.
Don and Jack's location…
Don was feeling a strange sensation in his entire body, and he knew it could be related to his beating earlier and hoped that help would come soon.
'Stay strong Eppes, they will come soon, Charlie has a plan to get us out of this, just have to hang on for as long as I can.'
Jack was also thinking about what Charlie had planned and about what his daughters were going through.
'I just hope they are getting through this okay.' He thought to himself.
FBI Headquarters…
Megan and Martin were waiting for Amita and the techs to go through the message Charlie sent them and tracing where it came from.
"Do you think it was from Charlie?" Martin asked.
"I believe it, because Charlie is resourceful enough to hack into a powerful enough computer to send a message and we will know if it was fake or not sooner or later." Megan answered, hoping that will be enough for Martin.
"I just hope we will find them soon." Martin simply said, not wanting to make the other agent more nervous than she already was.
Before they could discuss it any further, Amita came running out the room, looking excited.
"We got a location! They are in the warehouse district" She said as she gave Megan the location.
"All right, let's get some agents together and let's go get them!" Megan said, determined to see this go through and get her friends back.
