Minisode: Why can't we be friends

Jackson sits on his uncomfortable bed. He listens to music on top of his of an odd colored stain that lays there on his bed. Around him sitting on the couch is Travis, meanwhile Aj is in the restroom. Suddenly, the door opens. Travis and Jackson looks as the door opens… it is Mimi. She nervously walks in wearing a light gray shirt with jeans. She is extremely nervous to be here. Jackson ignores her and focuses back to listening to his music.
"What are you doing here?" Travis asks. He tilts his glasses as she passes him.
"Well... Jackson, I don't feel like I've talked to you and… I want you to know that you matter," Mimi says comfortingly.
Travis gasps, Aj looks out from his bathroom, and Jackson looks up and glares at her.
"Ummm Mimi, as someone who is concerned for your help, I believe that you probably shouldn't be here," Aj says concerned.
"I'm sorry Aj but I don't care," Mimi says. This shocks the guys even more, "Jackson, although everyone in this room may hate you, I want to say that I like you… as a friend and think that you should be nicer to others," Mimi says as she sits on Jackson's bed.
"I know that what your saying is a lie…" Jackson says in an angered tone.
"They all say that, my teachers, my therapist, my father, everyone. But do they mean what they say, of course not. They say not to judge a book by it's cover, yet they call me everything thanks to my appearance," Jackson says as he glares at Mimi.
"Well that's them, not me," Mimi replies. She stares into his brown eyes. Her size makes her seem a bit unpowerfull right now.
"That's what my friend, Brad told me, however he wasn't singing the same tune when he confessed what I did in front of the courtroom," Jackson says.
"Wha-" Mimi says before she is interrupted.
"If I were you I would I avoid talking to me," Jackson says as he looks down to Mimi.
Mimi gulps as she begins to walk away. She reaches the door, looks back at him and shuts the door.
