Toga stirred from his sleep just after dawn. Normally he'd be up by now observing his son's self defense lesson in the dojo. Considering the amount of energy he'd spent last night however it was not surprising he'd slept in. His eyes softened at the sight of Kagome snuggled up comfortably against his chest. She looked adorable with her messy black hair and dreamy face. He smirked when the unmistakable little snore escaped her swollen lips. Knowing it was his fault those lips were chapped, hair was tangled and little pink marks lined her skin made him preen with pride. He groaned when he felt even hours later that he was still deeply buried inside her tight passage. He considered waking her for another quick round of sex but stopped when she whimpered.
Worried she'd been injured from his zealous passion he carefully rolled her onto her back. As he slowly slipped out of her sweet heat a hiss escaped both of their lips. His was out of pleasure but hers was one of pain. Thankfully he was able to extract himself without anymore discomfort. Using his demonic senses to his advantage he sniffed over her reddened core. To his relief she appeared to only be suffering from the after affects of losing her virginity. She would no doubt be stiff and sore for the coming days. Needing to start his day he slipped on his boots, grabbed his swords and slung his armer over his shoulder. Not wanting to waltz around the castle in wrinkled clothing he made his way down the hall towards his chambers. Once inside his room he made his way towards the private hot spring located around back. He'd just entered the steaming water and was preparing to wash his body with soaps when the shoji screen leading into the private hot springs opened.
"I see you've finally awakened." said a slender inu demoness with two pigtails pinned on the top of her head.
Just like all inu demons she had long silver hair, amber eyes and pale alabaster skin. What made her special however was the crescent moon symbol marked across her brow and one magenta stripe on each cheekbone. She was tall and slender with an aura to match her regal grace. Compared to other inu females her pedigree was top class. Many lusted after her beauty and sought after her impeccable breeding. Lucky for him, his father arranged for them to mate. As beautiful and qualified as Kimi was, he did not love her. Their mating was strictly political. They both got what they wanted out of the relationship. Kimi was gifted the safety and luxury of the Western palace and he was given a strong heir. As the years have passed however Kimi's feelings towards him have grown where as his have never changed. He did care for his mate in his own way. It just wasn't as deep as she wanted.
He felt bad for not loving his mate but she could never be the bitch of his heart. She had too many past lovers for her to completely be devoted to him. Before being mated to him Kimi had been a member of the Northern Lord's harem. During her time in the North she'd given him two sons. He knew her loyalty was dedicated to Sesshomaru and the Western throne but he could never trust her completely with his heart. Besides her ties to the Northern Lord she too had her fair share of concubines to keep her warm at night. It's been nearly three months since their last rut. Not because he didn't want to sleep with her but because he'd been too busy ending the war with the East. When he did find time to enjoy a females touch she was either busy with one of her lovers or away visiting her friends in the north. With her not around he found his release with his whore. Now that Izayoi was around he doubted he'd be sleeping with anyone else any time soon.
"What do you want Kimi?" Toga asked as she closed the shoji screen behind her.
"I've come to inform you that our son was very disappointed in you missing his lesson this morning." Kimi said as she began to strip out of her clothing.
"There is always tomorrow." Toga shrugged as he returned to his bathing.
"That's besides the point and you know it." Kimi frowned as she waded towards him in the water. "Sesshomaru is not upset at your lack in attendance. You've had to miss other lessons due to political affairs. This time he is upset because you chose to spend time with your ningen instead."
"I swear that boy becomes more and more like you everyday." Toga scoffed as he rinsed his body of soaps.
"That's a bad thing?" Kimi blinked in confusion.
"Yes! Sesshomaru is going to be ruler of these lands one day. He needs to stop being so emotional and toughen up." Toga huffed as he reclined against his mate so she could groom him. "His soldiers will never look up to him if he is a sensitive pansy."
"We can't be too hard on him, Toga. He's still a pup." Kimi sighed as she poured some soap into her palms and began to massage it into his scalp.
"He is not a pup Kimi! He will be ready to experience his first heat in little under a decade. He's already getting curious about females. It's only a matter of time before he develops a crush or gets bold enough to sneak one of my concubines into his chambers to experiment." Toga argued making Kimi roll her eyes. "If he is going to lead the West he needs to learn to deal with his emotions, let go of his petty jealousy and stop being your errand boy."
"He is not my errand boy." Kimi growled.
"Oh? Then why was he spying for you last night? Hm?" Toga questioned as he turned to look at her over his shoulder.
"You caught onto that did you?" Kimi smiled sheepishly.
"Feh! Of course I did." Toga grumped before dunking his head under the water to rinse. "The plan had your name written all over it."
"Fine, you caught me. So what if I sent Sesshomaru to spy for me?" Kimi shrugged as she began to rub her own body with soaps. "Women weren't invited to the war feast. How else was I to know what she looked like?"
"Oh, I don't know... maybe meet with her over tea later today?" Toga rolled his eyes as he grabbed the wash rag and began to wash his mate's back. "Also, I did not appreciate you turning the servants against my orders. They are not to repeat that behavior in the future."
"What fun would that be? I had to make your first night with the human wench at least a little interesting." Kimi pouted as Toga combed his fingers through her long silver locks. "We've never had a human stay in the castle before. The girls and I were dying to know if she had enough backbone to survive the first night."
"No one will not touch her." Toga growled warningly. "Not you, the harem, my soldiers, guests or anyone else. She is mine."
"But Toga..." Kimi whined as she turned around to lean against his chest. "I've never had a human before. I can smell her delicious scent on you. She smells young and vibrant. I'm sure her blood tastes exquisite. I'm dying to take a bite."
"She is not food Kimi nor is she a toy to gnaw or tug on." Toga growled warningly as he stared his mischievous mate in the eyes.
"You're no fun anymore Toga. You used to share all of your new toys with me." Kimi pouted as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Just imagine how fun it would be to make her scream together?"
"Not this one. Izayoi is fragile. Her human body won't stand a chance against your rough play." Toga said as he untangled her arms from around his neck. "I on the other hand can handle your torture just fine."
"Is that so?" Kimi purred as she curled her hand over his flaccid cock.
"Yes, my naughty little mate." Toga growled as he firmly removed her fingers from around him. "Now let me go. I have urgent business to attend to and a son I apparently need to toughen up."
"Fine, go an do your duties but promise me one thing before you go?" Kimi pouted as she watched her mate step out of the hot spring.
"What is it?" Toga asked as he dried himself off.
"Stay the night with me?" Kimi asked causing him to turn and look at her. "I miss you and the nights have grown colder without you by my side."
"I apologize for my distance." Toga sighed apologetically. "It has not been my intention to avoid you."
"I know, beloved." Kimi smiled easing his guilt. "You have been very busy as of late. Why don't you come to my chambers tonight and celebrate your victory? We can make a night of it and even celebrate well into the morning hours if you wish."
"That does sound enjoyable." Toga agreed making her smile widen.
"Wonderful. I'll have the servants prepare the futon." Kimi beamed as she lustfully watched him dress. "Maybe while we are celebrating your victory we could try for another pup? My heat is to arrive any day now. If we turned our celebration into a breeding session I'm certain to give you another pup or two."
"Perhaps." Toga shrugged as tie off his sword around his waist. "As much as I'd love to have another heir I will be quite busy handling political affairs the next few years. It's imperative to ensure both the human and demon kingdoms remain in peace. I will not set up Sesshomaru's first years as Lord for failure."
"You plan to retire?" Kimi blinked in astonishment.
"No, I expect him to fight me just like I did my father." Toga said. "However, should Sesshomaru surpass me once he reaches maturity in a few years I want the kingdom to be ready for him."
"A wise decision mate." Kimi smiled. "Which is why I think expanding our family now is a good time. Once Sesshomaru takes his place as Lord you will be busy advising him through the next century."
"Even if we have pups now Kimi they will still be young by the time that happens. Pups require a lot of attention. I don't feel right leaving you alone to raise them without me." Toga said.
"I did fine caring for Sesshomaru the last time." Kimi frowned as she sat on one of the heated stones.
"Yes, but Sesshomaru never bonded with me as he should have." Toga sighed as he shouldered his armor. "Our relationship is distant like a student to his sensei. He respects me as Lord and recognizes me as his Sire but doesn't bridge the gap between the two. He holds shallow feelings towards me and only obeys because he has to. I do not want this kind of relationship with any pup of mine in the future."
"There will never be a perfect time to have pups Toga. You will always have some type of excuse keeping you away. You have to make a sacrifice somewhere." Kimi huffed as she crossed her arms over her large breasts. "If we wait to have pups once Sesshomaru is older I'll be out of season."
"Then I guess we won't be having another pup." Toga answered cooly as he stepped out of the bathing room. "If you are so desperate for a child, perhaps you should return to the North and rut with Shako. He seems pleased with the last two."
With that he closed the shoji screen with a firm clip leaving her alone to wallow in the bitter silence.
"Damn it Toga. That wasn't what I meant..." Kimi sniffled as her bangs hid away her tears. "I just wanted you to want me..."
