Now, the sun has set. The night is cooler...if not cold.

Ms. Sablinova is a bit more at ease than before...but still topless. Little Peter still slumbers atop her nipple. They're both loving their sleep. And within their shared subconscious, they're about to finish the "Dance of the Hours..."

A clock chimes on the wall, signaling the time for the final number. Normally, the clock is programmed to imitate a wolf howling, at each hour...

Now, it's in Madagascar. These are very dark caves, down here...and it's dark outside, otherwise.

In here, there are underground lakes. Nile crocodiles have moved in. Now, as the night begins, they slither into the depths, and go for a swim.

Some of them are albinos. They're REALLY at home, down here...

In the domed vaults, surrounded by stalactites, Peter sprawls out, against his own back. He hangs in a fierce posture...

Below, the crocs infest the water. They may be solitary...but there sure are a lot of them down here.

Peter leaps from his perch in the vault...and lands in a Spidey net of his. He crawls towards its center...where he's tucked away Ms. Sablinova...now in a midnight-themed ballet dress...for safekeeping. A bit strange of a choice for safekeeping, of course; there's a crocodile infestation down there.

With a bare arm, she caresses his head. And, she caresses his Spidey arm. She loves what she feels...

Abruptly, she puts his neck in a headlock, with her leg, and rolls over, and around on the net. She sits up proudly...while squeezing his neck between her thighs. To Peter, they almost feel like a croc's jaws...

Peter swings up, with his own legs, and puts Ms. Sablinova's neck in a headlock with his own legs. Like a wheel, still latched to one another's necks, they roll around on the web. As they roll towards it, they resemble a penny in a wishing well.

Below, the crocodiles dogpile atop one another. They sense that those two edible humans are getting close...

They separate...and fall through the net...but not entirely. They're both still connected. Like puppets, they're now both on strings. On some cameras, though, it looks more like they're flying unaided.

Below, the crocodiles come at both of them. Like dual Peter Pans, they "fly" in circles around one another. They don't fly very fast. But then, it is nighttime...both down here, and out there...

Airborne, they both do flips, and acrobatics. They narrowly dodge many of the crocs' many attempts to snatch them. They were both born to. Seems strange, though, to see the crocodiles attacking Pan, rather than Hook...if there even is a Hook in this sketch...

At this point in the number, Peter's tempted to change the song to Garth Brooks' "Ain't Goin' Down ('til the Sun Comes Up)"... And he's not sure why...or even who Garth Brooks is...

Instead, Peter drops a Spidey gadget into the water, with the crocs. It sends a soothing frequency through the lake water.

At this, the crocs relax, and swim around, like fish. With this in motion, Peter and Ms. Sablinova can enjoy a simple courtship dance, while hanging from strings and levitating.

As they hang, they both do the splits...and then do flips around themselves, as if they were wheels, and both of their legs were axles. They look a lot like rubber balls, being made...

At some point, the Spidey noise-generator stops working...and the crocs go back on the offensive. So, Peter and Ms. Sablinova reel themselves back up, and reenter the Spidey web.

They both lower themselves down. Keeping strings close, they start daring back and forth, off the crocs' hulls. They snap, of course. Nonetheless, they use the music and their own senses of rhythm to narrowly avoid getting consumed, each and every time. Hook would be envious...as good as he was at staying out of Tick-Tock's stomach...unlike his hand, when Pan chopped it off and fed it to Tick-Tock.

As Peter and Ms. Sablinova croc-hop, Peter drops Spidey nanites into their jaws. Ms. Sablinova, by contrast, drops Wild Pack nanites into their jaws...

One by one, each croc sprouts out new prosthetic body parts...and sheds their old ones, that the prosthetics replace. Also, depending on the nanite, they shapeshift into either giant spiders or horse-sized wolves...depending on which nanite they've ingested. Ms. Sablinova's cyber-wolves are all white.

The cyber-spiders run around on the lake surface. The cyber-wolves swim around, keeping their heads and backs surfaced. Those wolves who have prosthetic feet turn their feet into webbed/finned ones, so they can swim better.

Peter falls, and lands atop one of his new cyber-spiders. Aback it, he takes off across the water like a shot.

Ms. Sablinova chases him, riding one of her own cyber-wolves. She runs across the water, leaping from cyber-wolf's back to cyber-wolf's back as she goes along; her cyber-wolves all swim into the pattern they have to be in to accomplish this.

From the sidelines, the other cyber-spiders try to broadside her. One succeeds. She flies right off her mount, and through the cave. She falls towards the lake surface...

A cyber-spider speeds right under her, and snatches her. He leaps into a vault, holds her in his forearms, and starts to wrap her into a silken cocoon...

Baring his teeth, a cyber-wolf leaps up, from the water, and snatches his pack alpha in his jaws. Some of his teeth are golden, and prosthetic... He falls back into the water, and tries to swim away with her.

From everywhere, other cyber-spiders attack this cyber-wolf. So, the wolf reluctantly releases her.

Underneath the surface, she starts sinking. The bottom gets closer and closer...

Peter dives in after her. He rips her free, gathers her, and drags her back up to the surface.

From everywhere, the cyber-wolves attack him. He shoots his webs everywhere, putting muzzles on them.

He surfaces. He's salvaged by one of his cyber-spiders.

From everywhere, the cyber-wolves attack, despite being Spidey-muzzled. The cyber-spiders intervene, put the wolves in neck-locks, and keep them from swimming wherever. The cyber-spiders better assure this, by shooting out webs of their own, and tethering themselves in place...so that the wolves can't tow them while swimming.

With Ms. Sablinova, Peter gets to one side of the cave. With him, his cyber-spiders line up behind him.

On the other side of the cave, the cyber-wolves also line up. They're about to get their pack alpha back, at whatever cost...

Simultaneously, both fronts charge one another. The cyber-wolves swim, and bare their fangs. The cyber-spiders run across the water, and shoot webs from their cybernetic prosthetic eyes...

They clash. Some of the cyber-wolves drag the spiders under the surface, with them. Some of the cyber-spiders embrace the wolves, shoot webs into the vaults, and reel themselves into the air, hauling their wolf captives up with them...

With Peter's cyber-spider, it's a stalemate. With a single cyber-wolf, they play tug-of-war...as the spider tries to haul the wolf up, and the wolf tries to take the spider down with him...

Aback the cyber-spider, Ms. Sablinova wakes. She takes Peter in several locks, and commences a violent ground-fight with him. They grapple, and roll around...back and forth, between the cyber-spider's abdomen and the cyber-wolf's submerged rump.

On the rump, she pins him. His head is submerged. She seems like she aims to keep him down there...

From above, a cyber-spider shoots a web...which latches onto Peter's chest. Peter grabs this, hauls himself up, and kicks Ms. Sablinova back onto the cyber-spider's abdomen.

Up there, she sees the lake. She tries to dive in... Another cyber-spider shoots another web, and ensnares her. Upside down, she swings from the ceiling, by a Spidey thread.

Below, the cyber-wolves tackle the cyber-spiders. Few of them seem to notice her. Two do. They swim back up, to accommodate for her...

Too late; Peter runs back up the ramp, leaps, tackles her, severs the thread, and splashes down, into the lake with her. He shoots two Spidey-muzzles, neutralizing the two approaching cyber-wolves

With a Spidey nanite, Peter conjures a mask around his airway. With a Wild Pack nanite, Ms. Sablinova puts another around her own. With that out of the way, they grapple. To both of them, this is better than water polo...if that's even a thing in 1870...

The cyber-wolves swim up, and ensnare Peter in their jaws. They drag him down, and start fighting over him, as if he were a piece of meat. Peter struggles; they subdue him. Even in his dreams, Silver Sable tech can be real bitches...

Through the surface, a cyber-spider shoots a web...and ensnares Ms. Sablinova's ass. She squeals, as she's reeled back up, into the vaults. Up here, the cyber-spiders have their way with her...just as the cyber-wolves are having their way with Peter down there.

As Peter dodges the bites, he shoots out several more webs, roping and collaring each cyber-wolf...as if he were an underwater dogcatcher. Once he's got them all tethered, he releases more Spidey nanites into the water. They latch themselves to each cyber-wolf, hijacking their cybernetics.

Now Peter's their alpha. On the surface, they swim around in circles, towing Peter as they go along...

Back up there, Ms. Sablinova wiggles free, several times. She falls...but doesn't get far, before she's caught again...whether by their long forelegs, or by one of their webs...

She pulls out several pistols, and shoots each cyber-spider...but not with bullets. She shoots them with more Wild Pack nanites.

Soon, she's back atop the web. She lies on her tummy.

Above her, the other cyber-spiders have become her new masseuses. With their creepy prosthetic/natural forelegs, they massage her bare back. She loves it. She wagers Peter could never do the same, if he were her personal slave...

He could be, in the real world. He's small enough, after all... Ms. Sablinova...just isn't sure that that's what she wants from him...

Now, the cyber-wolves swim super-fast. At that, Peter is water-skiing with them, now...using a pair of skis, generated from a pair of Spidey nanites...

Above, the net breaks. Ms. Sablinova falls.

She splashes down right atop Peter, as he passes under. Once again, they're back beneath the surface. Down here, they grapple again...

From beneath them, a cyber-wolf surfaces. They're surfaced again. Up here, they keep grappling.

From up there, the cyber-spiders shoot out webs. The webs latch onto the back of the cyber-wolf that's got them.

Some way or another, both dancers get back up to their feet. Ms. Sablinova leans back, in an encore posture. Peter holds her. He holds out his arm, and "presents" the encore.

And so, there it is: Amilcare Ponchielli's "Dance of the Hours;" Spider-Man's and Silver Sable's subconscious take on it. Ah, but if only Walt Disney could do just as well, seventy years from now...
