On the rooftops of many cities around the world, a mysterious figure could be seen running, the mystery person was yet to be identified but some say it's the ghost of the famous thief, Sly Cooper. From Paris, France to Melbourne, Australia; People have caught the ghost on video of the reported dead thief, but it's currently unknown if it is true that it is paranormal activity, or someone is planning to continue his legacy.
December 10th, 2015
Montpelier was preparing for Christmas time; The city streets were filled with snow and the Christmas market was being set up. Carmelita, Demi William were buying some gifts for their friends and family who were planning to visit this year.
"Wow, I've never seen a Christmas market this great since last year in Belfast during our Holiday to the UK." William said with his eye's fixated on the colourful lights. But the Twins were more focused on their list.
"OK, a painting set for Pablo. A smart phone or Tewila. A new chainsaw for Uncle Morton." Carmelita said while she was reading the checklist.
"Don't forget, a new TV for Liliana." Demi replied.
"I didn't forget sis, that's the list done, now we need to get some wrapping paper." Carmelita said until putting her attention on her adoptive brother, "Hey, William, you wanna go get some paper with me for would you like to walk around the market with Demi to get some food?"
"I'll go with Demi." Answered the little Lombax.
After that, William & Demi went to the market to eat while Carmelita went to the art supplies shop to get wrapping paper until something caught her eye. She looked up at the rooftops and to her amazement, the supposed ghost of Sly was in Montpelier. She would not believe her eyes and began wondering if he was finally found. She entered the shop and asked the cashier if she can go up to the roof and was granted access because she was a cop. When she finally got to the rooftops, Carmelita saw the shadowy figure heading towards her, she told it to stop and it did.
"Why have you stopped me?" Said the mystery figure, still coated in shadows.
Carmelita stayed silent until she would reply with one name. "Sly, is that you?"
The figure was taken aback by this. "Who told you that name. How do you know him?"
"Wait?" Carmelita began to look worried, "You're not Sly, but you were seen all over the world, you were seen in Paris, London, Moscow, Tokyo and New York. Those were all places Sly used to go to. As for how I know him, I was his ex-girlfriend. If you're not Sly, then who are you?"
The figure answered, "I'll tell you, I'm not Sly." The shadows soon faded away revealing the figure to be a female raccoon, "My name is Isabel, Isabel Cooper. I'm Sly's sister."
Carmelita looked shocked to see that Sly had a sister. She looked around Isabel and saw that she was like Sly in every way.
"I was sent to a different orphanage after my parents died, I still followed my family's way of being thieves. But when I heard that my older brother is now reported dead, I decided to making people remember him by acting like his ghost around the world until you showed up. I wonder what's next, I'll probably run into Conway next?"
"Who's Conway?"
"Conway is mine and Sly's eldest brother, I heard that he actually got adopted by a different family. I think he works in Detroit at a bank, but I doubt that he works there anymore after some crooks lead by some guy named Alexander Grant broke into the vault. I think Conway hunted the crooks down with the help of some lady called Michelle and now the two are heroes after beating the group of five crooks in Bangor, Maine."
Carmelita began to feel sad because of that the mysterious figure wasn't her long-lost thought to be dead ex-boyfriend. Isabel began to feel sorry for her after noticing that Sly might've impacted her life.
"Look, I feel your pain. I was devastated after hearing that brother was reported dead, but I can see that this must've impacted you dearly. I think to make you feel better, I'll stop this whole charade and make you feel happy."
Carmelita looked up at Sly's sister "But you probably don't have a home. I'll tell you what, you can stay at my house for a few days, I hope Demi William won't mind. We have an extra bedroom down in the basement."
Isabel looked happy to hear what Carmelita had said and hugged her almost on the verge of tears of joy. Later, the two went to the market to meet William Demi. The two looked baffled when they first met Isabelle, but they began to like her. Then it came for her to leave, she gave her ex-sister-in-law a hug and went off to look for Conway. Now for those wondering, what will happen to Isabelle after all this, well that would be a story for another day.
