Best Laid Plans-Ch 15
Around noon Savannah walked into the hospital like she was on a mission, well technically she was, she was out to make sure that she ended up with Derek. She was heading toward the elevators when she saw Dereks sisters in the gift shop.
She made her way over there and stood where she could see and hear them but they couldn't see her, she wanted to see how things were going with Derek. Sarah looked at her sister and said, "I'm glad that they are both going to be okay, I was afraid that we were going to lose them both".
Desi said, "me too sis, me too", Sarah said, "Derek is so protective of Penelope, I mean the way he wouldn't leave her bedside was so romantic". Desi nodded her head and said, "and I loved it when Dave talked to the doctor and got them moved into the same room, love looks good on Derek".
Sarah said, "and if anybody deserves to be happy it's those two", Desi said, "I'm just glad that they were finally together, I never thought that Derek would tell her that he loved her". Sarah said, "I guess almost losing her was enough to make him pull his head out of his butt".
Savannah balled her hand into a fist and whispered, "noooo, they can't be together, they can't be together, that's not part of my plan". As her hand slid down to her stomach she said, "don't worry little on daddy is going to be ours, he will be ours, no matter what I have to do".
Upstairs Derek looked up at the door as the team walked through the door, he said, "any luck"?, Reid shook his head and said, "nothing so far, we've watched the surveillance tapes over and over and checked his phone records and the only thing we've been able to find out was that he's called two different burner phones several times over the past 6 months".
Derek said, "maybe those are his partners"?, Hotch said, "that's what we're thinking too", Dave said, "and right now we have no way of finding out who the burners belong too because they were paid for with cash in a store with no survelience cameras".
JJ said, "so whoever is doing this is definitely making things harder for us", Emily looked at Penelope and said, "how are you doing PG", Penelope said, "tired, sore and hurting but I'm here Em, I'm here" and Derek said, "yes you are goddess, yes you are" as he intertwined their fingers.
Reid said, "it is so good to see you both up and at it this morning", Derek said, "it's good to be awake isn't it sweetness"?, Penelope said, "it so is handsome". Sarah and Desi walked into the room with two bunches of get well balloons.
Sarah grinned as she handed her balloons to Derek, he said, "thanks" as he looked at the multiple multi colored balloons. Desi walked over to Penelope and said, "and these are for you Penelope" as she handed over the strings holding Penelopes balloons.
Penelope said, "oh thank you Desi, they are beautiful" as she looked through the balloons that were hovering beside her in the air. Everybodys attention then turned to Savannah as she walked into the room. she smiled and said, "good morning everybody".
As she stepped closer nobody could miss her baby bump and Derek said, "S S Savannah, what are you doing here"?. her hand slid down to her stomach and said, "I'm here sweetie to check on the father of my child".
Dereks mouth flew open and he said, "the who of your what"?, she smiled and looked around the room briefly before looking back at him and said, "congratulations daddy, it's a boy" and everybody stood looking back and forth at each other as they tried to digest the news.
