Thank you guys so much for 700+ views! I can't believe I already got that many views on this story! I released this chapter early to celebrate Genshin Impact's 1.1 update! Future updates may be a bit delayed because they are getting longer and longer to write. Anyway, back to the story!

Lumine took a long, hot shower upon arriving home. She was completely exhausted after completing four commissions and two quests today. It was only her third day as a Knight of Favonius, after all. Lumine looked back to her first day of commissions and thought, 'At least the other commissions weren't as hectic as the first one.' She closed her eyes and enjoyed the feeling of the warm water dripping down her body as she scrubbed her hair.

Lumine came out of the shower all clean and proceeded to take her usual outfit out of the laundry machine. She hummed to herself quietly, enjoying the silence that filled the house. Paimon had left the house earlier to go treasure hunting with Amber and Lumine was, to say the least, a little ecstatic about her friend's departure. She finally had an evening to herself. Lumine reached for her comb and ran it through her hair gently, making sure to straighten out her two locks of hair. Satisfied with her work, Lumine sprayed a lavender-scented perfume as a final touch up.

Grabbing her inventory bag and sword, Lumine set off once again in search of the perfect dinner. 'I just ate at the Good Hunter yesterday…Where should I eat tonight?' Lumine asked herself. She wandered around the city of Mondstadt until she finally made a decision. 'I guess I'll treat myself to some wine today, then!' Lumine thought as she scurried into the tavern. The bright atmosphere of the tavern was quite welcoming and she was glad that she picked this place to eat.

Lumine strutted towards a bar stool and waited for a bartender to attend her. What should she order? She briefly glanced at the menu before deciding on a Fisherman's Toast and told the bartender her order. Humming quietly to herself, Lumine drew out a book about the history of Mondstadt and immersed herself into it completely. When her order arrived, she stored the book away and ate her food happily, completely unaware of the man that watched her with wide eyes.

Diluc had just fended off another group of Hilichurls and pyro mages around Mondstadt. He brushed himself lightly and sheathed his sword before re-entering the city. He wanted to end the day with a nice glass of Dandelion wine, his personal favorite. Diluc entered the tavern through the back door, not wanting to associate with anyone that evening. He took off his black gloves and washed his hands before walking to the front of the bar. He silently grabbed the nearest bottle of Dandelion wine off the shelf and proceeded to pour it into a wine glass.

As he turned around to retreat to the back of the bar, Diluc froze after he saw a blond-haired girl enjoying her dish a few seats away. He stared at her, mesmerized by her golden locks and blue-and-white outfit. Was this girl the one he…? Unaware of his movements, Diluc started to head towards the girl as if he was caught in a spell. It had to be her; she was wearing the same outfit and her hairstyle was the same as the first time he laid his eyes on her. Finally, he was standing right in front of the naive girl who had not seen him approaching.

"Are you the person that I…?" Diluc's mouth snapped shut when he realized that he had seen this girl before. There was no doubt about it. They shared the same magnificent gold eyes.

"Lumine…?"

Lumine glanced up and saw the handsome looking man in front of her.

"Diluc…" she breathed, "It's been a while!"

Lumine felt her heartbeat increasing as the red-haired man stared at her intensely, his eyes full of wonder and surprise. The heat from her heart circulated throughout her entire body as he continued to glance at her up and down in disbelief. Diluc felt insanely stupid that it took him this long to figure it out. Didn't he see her with Kaeya last time? The only difference was that she was wearing a different outfit and her hair was tied into a bun last time.

"Lumine." Diluc nodded curtly. "It has indeed been a while."

He set the glass of Dandelion wine in front of the girl carefully as he spoke again.

"Try it out. This is Dandelion wine, our winery's most famous wine. And don't try your tricks on me again. It's on the house for real this time."

"Thank you! I was actually craving some wine tonight."

Diluc could not stop watching Lumine as she reached out to the wineglass and stroked it gently, swishing the alcoholic beverage in it as her fingernails gripped the glass tightly. She tilted her neck back and sipped the wine slowly. As she finished her alcoholic drink, she let out a soft sigh and her hot breath warmed the air between them. Diluc's mind wandered elsewhere when his gaze fell upon her soft, pink-tinted lips.

"Mhm. That was the best wine I've ever tasted."

"I'm glad you liked it. Would you like more? Dandelion wine is well known for its ability to warm people up. You seem quite cold in that outfit."

"Thank you for worrying, but I'm quite warm right—" Lumine stopped mid-sentence. How could she have forgotten? Her mysterious helper had given her a coat to wear. Where did she lose it? Lumine panicked as she tried to recall her memories over the past week. It was coming back to her now. She took off the precious coat when she saved Paimon from drowning.

"I'm sorry, but I have to go now," Lumine spoke with a sense of urgency.

"Where to? It's quite late now, Lumine."

"I—I lost something priceless to me in the woods. I have to get it back right now."

Lumine stood up and grabbed her inventory bag, her mind completely fixated on the loss of her coat. How could she lose something so important? As she turned around to leave the tavern, she felt someone grabbing her hand tightly.

Diluc pulled her towards him gently, her back facing his face. Although Diluc couldn't explain his sudden reaction, her panicked state worried him and he knew that he could not bear to see her in danger. He pulled her in closer, their bodies clanging against the counter of the bar. He leaned forward and brought his face to Lumine's ear at a distance so close that she could feel his soft breaths lingering near her exposed ear.

"Wait for me. I'll go with you." Diluc whispered.
