As the guards were distracted, Hiccup and Elsa, along with their dragons, crept past them and into the castle halls. It was surprisingly deserted.

Hiccup looked around sadly at his deteriorating home as they both sprinted up the stairs, to the newly built jail that Drago had built after he became king.

At the entrance, Hiccup grabbed Elsa by the wrist and looked around to make sure that the coast was clear.

"Go rally anyone you can find that we can trust. And find my mother. I'll go look for Drago." Hiccup whispered to Elsa who nodded and gave him a quick kiss on his cheek before running out of view with her dragon.

Hiccup whispered to Toothless to follow him as they crept along the corridors silently. He almost tripped and fell over a broken down banister but luckily Toothless caught him just in time and pulled him back.

Then, looking down, Hiccup spotted his uncle on a golden throne, as he watched over a mad chattering of Berserkers who all seemed to be excitedly awaiting to see what

Drago did to a poor, shuddering old man, who was trapped inside one of the noticed that Drago had a prosthetic arm now. He seemed weaker than Hiccup remembered him. "Shh!" A man stood up, whom Hiccup recognized, was Erret. So Elsa was right...Drago did ally himself with those murderers.

"THE KING WILL NOW PASS JUDGEMENT ON DRAGOFF FOR HIS CRIMES AGAINST THIS NATION, AND GOING AGAINST THE WILL OF OUR KING!"

Hiccup watched helplessly as the man shook his head an pleaded with Drago. "P-PLEASE! N-no... F-For-give -m-me! I have a child and a w-wife!"

Hiccup looked at Drago and his heart sank when he saw Drago stand up and slam his metal arm onto the throne. "I CHARGE YOU WITH TREASON! AND SENTENCE YOU TO DEATH!"

Then, the men brought out two badly scarred Monstrous Nightmares and released them into the cage, and Hiccup watched in horror as they mauled the frightened man to death.

Toothless whimpered behind him as if to say 'I'm sorry you had to see that'.

"VALKAAA!" Hiccup's eyes widened as he heard Drago bellow out his mother's name.

He gasped and peered at the crowd to see his mother walking up to the throne, her nose held up in the air. She looked a lot more wizened and worn out from the last time he had seen her, ten years ago.

She passed by Berserker guards as their dragons growled and snapped at her. Hiccup watched as she walked up to where Drago was standing. She sighed and said indifferently. "Yes, Drago?"

Drago snorted at her and walked back and forth in front of her. "Where is the hunting party I ordered you to train? They are not doing their job!"

Hiccup watched his mother sigh. "When Elsa went rogue and left, they all refuse to do your work. There is no food, the herds have all moved away. The kingdoms have ceased trade with us . There is nothing left... We have only one choice. We must accept the terms that our neighbors have proposed for trade."

Drago shook his head at her violently, swinging his deadlocks from side to side. "We are not bowing down to anyone!"

Valka's eyes lit up in anger. "Then you have sentenced us to death!"

Drago sneered at her. "Then so be it!"

She clenched her jaw. "You can't do that!" Drago stomped his foot on the floor.

"I am the king! I can do whatever I want!" She looked at him fiercely and gritted her teeth as she began to retaliate. "If you were half the king that Stoick was-" He spun around and slapped her hard on her face, causing her to lose her balance and fall to the ground, unconscious.

Hiccup began to breathe faster and faster as anger and panic swelled up inside him.

Drago yelled at her "I AM TEN TIMES THE KING THAT STOICK'S WAS!" He grabbed a spear from Erret as the fellow looked at him anxiously.

For the first time, he seems to be fearful of what Drago was about to do.

Drago sneered and raised his spear above the unconscious Valka's head, to strike her. As he brought it down, the spear was struck out of hands with a blast of plasma from above them. They all gasped and looked up as the thunder roared and lighting struck.

In the lighting, Hiccup's silhouette bore a striking resemblance to his father's younger self. "What!?" Drago exclaimed in anger as Hiccup and Toothless dropped down in between Drago and Valka, who lay there, unconscious.

Toothless growled and everybody else as Hiccup tended to his mother. He lightly shook her awake and hugged her.

Still in disorientated from the impact of Drago's slap, she furrowed her brows and looked at him.

"S-Stoick?" she whispered as she wasn't yet in her right mind and seemed to think that Hiccup was his father.

Hiccup shook his head. "No, mom...It's me..."

Her eyes widened as she recognized him as she stared into his green eyes, which were so much like his father. "Hiccup?" She asked as he nodded, smiling. She hugged him tightly and placed a palm on his face. "You're alive?...How can that be?"

Hiccup kissed his mother's forehead. He hadn't realized how much pain he must have given to his mother when he disappeared, letting her believe that both her husband and child were dead. "It doesn't matter. I'm home..." He hugged her then turned to Drago.

A small smile crept to his face as he saw Drago gulp as he glanced at Hiccup's Night Fury. "Hiccup! It's so nice to see you..." he shot a murderous glance at Erret and the others for letting Hiccup escape all those years ago. "...alive..."

Hiccup glared at Drago and drew out his sword as Toothless bared his teeth. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't let him rip you apart..."

Drago was bigger in size than Hiccup was but he was also much weaker and worn out. He had lost an arm and he didn't have the same level of energy as Hiccup, being a young adult, had.

Drago must have realized this as he began backing away from Hiccup to a wall as Hiccup and Toothless began to corner him. "Oh. Hiccup. Please. You must understand. The pressures of ruling a kingdom-"

He was cut off by Hiccup as he said. "Are no longer yours. Step down, Drago..."

Drago chuckled. "I would, naturally. But there is one little problem. You see them?" He gestured to the hordes of Berserkers who stood there, their sword ready. "They think I'm king..."

Toothless growled at him as they heard Elsa's voice from behind them. Hiccup turned to see her standing there, getting her bow drawn and ready, with a few dozen warriors and guards behind her, male and female, helping Valka to her feet.

"Well we don't. Hiccup is the rightful king." Elsa informed him.

Hiccup turned back to Drago. "The choice is yours, Drago. Either step down, or fight..."

Drago chuckled at him. "Oh, must this all end in violence? I'd hate to be responsible for the death of a family member, don't you agree, lad?"

Hiccup realized that Drago was taunting him and using the past to make him lose his focus. "That's not gonna work, Drago...I've put it behind me."

Drago sneered and faced Valka and Elsa. "Oh. How nice. And what about your faithful subjects? Have they put it behind them?"

Elsa and everyone else had a confused look on their faces as the thunder rumbled. "Hiccup...what is he talking about?" Toothless also had a confused look on his face as he couldn't understand what was happening.

Drago turned and sneered at Hiccup as he began to circle Hiccup like a vulture as he began to taunt him. "Ahhh. So you haven't told them your little secret...well, now's your chance, Hiccup. Tell them. Tell them who is responsible for Stoick's Death!"

The place went quiet ad he said this. A look of bewilderment and shock shot across everyone's face and everybody looked at Hiccup. He didn't move for and second. He then sighed and stepped forward, feeling his heart getting squashed in anguish.

"I-I am. ..". No sooner had he said this that Elsa, Valka and everybody else gasped in horror. Valka walked over to her son. He failed to meet her eyes in shame and looked at the ground. She lifted his chin and brought his eyes to her level.

"Is it true?". She breathed. He didn't say anything. Her eyes widened as tears filled her eyes. "Tell me it's not true!"

Hiccup stated at the ground as he muttered, "It's true..."

Drago seized this opportunity and berated Hiccup. "You see! He admits it! MURDERER!"

Hiccup's heart began to beat faster as he started panicking. "No! It was an accident!" Hiccup defended himself.

Drago grabbed his sword and began walking around hiccup as if this was some jury taking place in court. "If it wasn't for you, Stoick would still be alive! It's your fault he's dead. Do you deny it?"

Hiccup dropped his eyes to the floor in sadness. "No..."

Drago sneered at him. "Then, you're GUILTY!"

Hiccup pleaded with his sneering uncle and everybody else. Everyone, including Elsa, didn't know what to do. They wanted to help him but they held back, confused and shocked because they had just learned that King Stoick was gone because of him.

"No! I'm not a Murderer!" Hiccup panicked.

Drago sneered and began cornering him out to the edge of the death cliff that he had created, where he forced prisoners to jump to their was thirty feet from ground level. He began to slowly force Hiccup to the edge as his Berserkers began to follow him.

"Oh, Hiccup. You're in trouble again. And this time, Daddy isn't here to save you! And now, everyone KNOWS WHY!" he bellowed at Hiccup, causing him to jerk and he lost his footing, slipping over the edge. He managed to grab onto the ledge, hanging on for dear life.

A lighting struck in the valley below, setting the dry wasteland on fire around the castle, sealing it off from any intruders.

"HICCUP!" Elsa yelled in fear as she watched him hang on. She wanted to help him but was blocked by Berserker guards. She glanced at Toothless, who was now being restrained by some guards. She turned back to see that Blizzard was suffering the same fate.

How could she have been so foolish to let this happen? She should have helped Hiccup when she had the chance. As Hiccup held on for life, the harsh wind began blowing hard, whipping the hair across his face.

Drago snickered and began to mock and taunt him. "Hmmm. Now this looks familiar. Where have I seen this before? Let me think..."

Hiccup looked at him in confusion as he hung on. Then his uncle's eyes winded in glee as he snapped his fingers. "AHHA! That's right! That is the same look your father had in his eyes before he died. " he chuckled and then slammed his sword into the bare iron and rock. He then raised his thick gauntlet of a foot to stomp at Hiccup's hands to send him crashing to his death.

Drago sneered at him and whispered to hiccup as he prepared to send him to his death. " Now here's my little secret...I Killed Stoick the vast!"

Hiccup's eyes widened in horror when he heard this and the horrible memories of seeing his father dying and his dead body flooded his brain. Anger filled his body in every nerve and he bellowed ferociously at Drago.

"NOOOOO!" He leapt up from the ledge he was ganging onto with surprising strength and pinned Drago to the floor, his sword on his chest.

Everyone gasped and looked on at what was happening as they watched Hiccup bellow loudly and pin Drago to the heard him yell "MURDERER!" At Drago.

Hiccup couldn't believe that someone would do such a thing. Kill their own brother. It sounded sick to him. And the worst part was, Stoick had done nothing to wrong Drago. Drago chuckled nervously. "Hiccup. Please...you-"

"Tell them the truth..." Hiccup threatened him as Drago chuckled.

"The truth? But the truth is in the eye of the behol-AAH!" Hiccup began to poke at Drago's chest with his sword, as a warning to him. "Alright...Alright!" Drago yelled in pain. "I did it..." he whispered to Hiccup.

Hiccup glared back at Drago with almost blood in his eyes. "So they can hear you..." he ordered him.

Drago glared at Hiccup as he announced to everyone loudly "I KILLED STOICK THE VAST!"

No sooner had he said this, war broke out on the castle. The Berserkers began to charge head on at Hiccup.

Toothless roared and began to break free from his ropes and Elsa helped him out as the dragon then charged at them, knocking a few off the edge if the castle.

Hiccup drew out his sword and clambered onto Toothless and charged forward, brandishing the sword and striking any Berserkers he could find.

Elsa and the others howled their war cries and charged forward, including Valka, and grabbed clubs and arrows, striking as many Berserkers as they could. Toothless got tripped and Hiccup flew off his back.

As Hiccup got cornered, he heard a howl and looked to see Flynn and Gobber speeding forwards, to rescue him.

Gobber was on Grump as he laughed the whole time. "Excuse me! Pardon me! Coming through! HYAAAAAAH!"

And he used it's tail to knock out a dozen guards at once. Flynn was on Treecutter and was shooting spikes from his tail as he leapt off the dragon and started striking Berserkers with a frying pan.

"Frying pans! Who knew? Right?" Flynn asks as Hiccup chuckled and bolted away as a couple more Berserkers chased him. He tripped and fell down and saw that they had almost gained on him. He panted and raised his sword, only to find them suddenly getting tumbled over by Grandpabbie who, along with his fellow Troll's, began striking them down

Hiccup smiled and clambered into toothless and began searching for Drago, who had vanished from view.

Elsewhere, Flynn had his frying pan broken by one of the dragon's and he was sprinting as fast as he could, with a Speed Stinger snapping at him. He yelped and bolted into the cellar. He spotted one of the cells with bars that were big enough for him to slip through. He saw a bald man with a funny looking moustache gazing at him in horror.

Sven yelped at him. "LET ME OUT!"

Flynn yelled back "LET ME IN! LET ME IN!" He leapt in between the bars and crashed into the man. His teeth chattered in fear as the dragon snapped at him, unable to get through the bars. He heard the sound of men cackling in laughter and saw Erret and Gothel walking up. "Please don't let them eat me..."

Erret chuckled as they heard someone call them out. "HEY!"

They all turned to see Gobber standing there with Grump as Gothel raised an eyebrow. "Ayy. Who's da pig?"

Flynn slapped his palm onto his face. " You really shouldn't have called him a pig..."

Gobber's eyes lit up in rage. "You taking to me? ARE YE TALKING TO ME?!"

Flynn smirked at Erret. "He's very sensitive about his weight. Now you're in for it..."

They turned to see Gobber raise his club. "NO BODY CALLS ME A PIG!" And then he and his Gronckle charged at them.

"Odin help us." Erret whimpered.

Ed, who stood there cackling at them from outside lit up in shock as he saw his friends getting pummeled and beaten up by Gobber.

All of them whimpered and bolted out of the cellar as Gobber chuckled and smashed the bars open for Flynn and Sven as Flynn hugged him. "Did I tell you how much I love you?!"

Gobber blushed as Sven raised an eyebrow at Flynn. Noticing this, Flynn chuckled awkwardly.

"Not in that kinda way."

Hiccup was searching for Drago as he flew around on Toothless and he spotted him, trying to sneak away.

Hiccup bellowed and charged at him as Drago ran for the Dragon landing pad on the highest tower. The fire below had caught up and had bow set the the area surrounding the pad on fire.

Luckily, the pad was a tower that was disconnected from the rest of the castle as it was built on the bolted through the fire and almost fell over the edge as he stopped himself just in time. He panted and looked back to hear a roar form behind him and saw hiccup leaping down from Toothless he drew out his sword and swung it over the fire, lighting the blade on flame. He brandished it with a death stare and slowly advanced at Drago.

"Murderer..." he whispered as Drago tried to look around for a way out.

Drago tried to stall for time. "Hiccup. Hiccup...Please...have mercy! I beg you!"

Hiccup, for the first time, found himself growling like his father did, in anger as he closed the gap with his uncle. "You don't deserve to live..." he breathed , as toothless began stalking Drago, much like a lion did, to it' prey. His frills had begun to glow a shade of blue . Drago searched for words to stall him.

Without his dragon, he was in not state of affairs to battle Hiccup. He was by far weaker than Hiccup was and Hiccup was in his prime. "Hiccup. Please... I am...uh... family!"

Hiccup kept growling and brandished his sword around like his father did. Drago must have recognized this as horror flitted across his eyes.

"Every thing you ever told me was a lie."

Drago chuckled nervously. "What are you going to do? You wouldn't kill your own uncle, now would you?"

Hiccup glared at him, seething in anger. Every hair and cell in his body wanted to just kick Drago off the tower, to his death. But he knew that that was not what his father would do. He shook his head. "No...Bludvist...I'm not like you..."

Drago sighed silently in relief. "Oh. Hiccup, thank you! You are truly noble. I'll make it up to you. I promise. Uh... How can I prove myself to you?"

Hiccup glanced at toothless as the dragon growled at Drago. He then glared back at his uncle. "RUN! Run away, Bludvist...away and never return..."

Drago's eyes widened as he realized that Hiccup was exiling then glanced at his ferocious Night Fury and nodded slowly then turned to go.

"Yes...of course...as you wish..." he looked over his shoulder and saw that Hiccup had made a mistake. His back was turned on him and he had dropped his guard. Drago sneered in anger and drew out his sword and swung it at his leg. "...YOUR MAJESTY!"

Drago roared as Hiccup yelled in pain as he had been bruised on his left leg by Drago. As toothless tried to help, one of the berserker dragons landed in from the skies and began snapping and slashing and toothless as they battled. Drago seized the opportunity and struck hiccup on the shoulder with his blade. Luckily, his dragon armor was thick enough to protect him.

Hiccup roared at his uncle and they got locked in a deadly deadly duel. Drago was surprised as he wasn't able to strike hiccup as much as he would've hoped. Hiccup , despite being a lot less bulky in comparison to most Vikings, was a strong as Stoick was. He managed to strike Drago on more than one occasion and Drago had to protect himself by using his prosthetic arm.

Soon, Drago found the gap he was looking for and he used his sword to distract Hiccup. As hiccup blocked the sword, Drago punched him hard with his prosthetic arm, knocking hiccup off his feet. Hiccup dripped his sword in the process and he fell back a couple of feet due to the force.

Hiccup panted and gasped for air, clutching his face where Drago had punched him. He heard a bellow and looked forward to see Drago leaping at him, his sword raised. Hiccup raised his foot and kicked Drago in the stomach, sending him over hiccup's head and over the edge of the tower.

At that moment, toothless, having finished off the rogue dragon, flew to hiccup. Hiccup sat there, panting. He stroked Toothless's head as he said. "It's all over now, bud."

To his horror, he heard Drago's voice cackling behind him. He spun around and jumped up into his feet to see Drago on top of a Bewilderbeast. He was sneering at them as the Bewilderbeast began to emanate a white light from its mouth.

Hiccup yelled for Toothless and they both leapt off the tower as the Bewilderbeast's blast broke the tower in half.

Toothless caught hiccup mid air and the dragon pulled back up just a few seconds before they hit the surface of the freezing water below. The dragon shot another blast at the two of them and toothless dodged it and shot a blast at the dragon, angering it.

"KILL THAT BOY!" Hiccup heard Drago yell at his dragon.

It roared as as Toothless shot up skyward to avoid it's blasts. Then, after reaching enough height, toothless shut up his wings and plummeted back to earth and ,when he got close enough, he screeched shrilly and and blasted the dragon off balance. The dragon roared in anger and charged at toothless and hiccup.

They both narrowly dodged it as the massive dragon crashed into a rocky stump in the ocean, seeing the dragon tumbling due to impact, hiccup got an idea.

"C'mon bud. Time to disappear. " Toothless understood and shot up to the sky as the Bewilderbeast shot another blast at them.

They disappeared into the grey overcast clouds as hiccup could hear the dragon's roar from below. He whispered to toothless to shoot back down and to blast the Bewilderbeast with all that he has, aiming for somewhere around the face. Toothless cooed at him, as if to say 'are you sure about this?'

"Do you trust me, bud?" The dragon sighed and nodded. Hiccup focused on ahead. "Good. Let's try this, one more time!"

And with that, Toothless flapped his wings to gain enough momentum and clapped then shut, as they plummeted back to earth at breakneck speed. As the Bewilderbeast came into view, he heard Drago yelling "THERE! KILL HIM!"

Hiccup was a little bit surprised when he saw Toothless's whole body starting to glow bright blue. Toothless roared and, when he was close enough, as the Bewilderbeast reared up to attack, he took aim and shot out a mammoth blast, the size of four grown Vikings at the Bewilderbeast's tusks, breaking one off and crashed into the sea.

Hiccup watched as Drago, due to the impact, lost his footing from the head of the giant dragon and plummeted to the rocky ledge below. Hiccup closed his eyes, not wanting to see it happen as he heard a resounding crunch of a human body hitting the rocks.

Toothless jumped onto one of the rocky stumps and roared ferociously at the Bewilderbeast. It looked at him in shock before panting and diving back into the sea.

As Hiccup and toothless flew back to the castle, the storm clouds finally gave way and the rain poured down , calming down the blazing fire.

Hiccup slid down from toothless and hugged his dragon. "You never cease to amaze me, bud..."

He patted the dragon's head and walked back down to the cellar. As the smoke cleared, he could make out the shapes of Flynn and Gobber moving slowly out of the hazels as they chased away any remaining Berserkers, who had given up when they saw their leader fall to his death.

As he walked further, he saw Sven standing there. As he passed by, Sven smiled and gave him a bow.

Hiccup nodded and then he saw his mother, standing there with Elsa. He walked forward. Valka had tears swelling up in her eyes as she saw the man her son had become. She hugged him tenderly and kissed his forehead.

Then she stood aside as Elsa hugged hiccup tightly. He kissed her on the lips and smiled lovingly at her and his mother. He then saw Flynn and Gobber walk up to them . He moved along towards them .

Flynn gave him a smile and extended his hand to shake his, as Gobber have him a deep bow.

Hiccup chuckled and pulled them in and hugged them both tightly. "I could never have done this without you guys. Thank you."

Flynn looked at him, a little surprised as Gobber cried and hugged him.

"Our little buddy is all grown up, Flynn!" Gobber wept.

Flynn chuckled and hugged hiccup back. Then, they heard the rattling of seeds and they turned to see Grandpabbie standing at the foot of the royal altar, which overlooked the entire area of Berk.

Hiccup took in a deep breath and walked forward to him as the rain drenched everyone present. He got down on his knee in front of the short old Troll. She smiled kindly at him and rubbed her finger on her staff. She then proceeded to draw the monarch symbol of Berk with her thumb on his forehead with soot from his staff.

He then bowed to him as Hiccup smiled and pulled him in for a hug. The troll was slightly surprised but hugged him back before breaking away. "It is time.."

Hiccup sighed and got back up onto his legs. He turned and began walking up the steps to the altar, which was cracked and run down under Drago's rule.

Everybody's eyes widened and their mouths slowly drifted open as they watched him walk up the steps. Finally having reached the top, He stood there and surveyed the ruined kingdom that he once played and goofed around in. He didn't know how he would do as King but he was going to at least try his best. Then, as he stood there in doubt, he heard his father's voice rumbling from the heavens.

"Remember..." it spoke and that was all the encouragement Hiccup needed. He drew out his sword and, holding it in his right hand, swung it up into the air, holding it high above his shoulders as he bellowed his now fearful Viking war cry with all his might.

As he did so, all the Vikings behind him copied him and they all did their war cries as well.

The dragons present roared and shot out blasts that exploded mid air, like fireworks, sparkling the air around them.

Berk was off to a bright future now with Hiccup as the new King.

A year had passed now since Hiccup had become the new king. He had brought the kingdom to its former glory and all the subjects loved him as the king. He had married Elsa as his wife and the new Queen of Berk.

It was an auspicious day today as it was going to be the presentation of the royal Princess to the was inside the bedroom with Elsa, as Valka smiled and held the newborn Princess.

Hiccup was wearing a green linen attire that complimented the chocolate brown bearskin cape that belonged to his father.

After becoming the queen, Elsa had taken to wearing elegant gowns, although she could be seen walking around the place in her usual warrior clothing at times.

Today, she wore a sky blue gown that hung from her shoulders and fell to the floor. It had a beautiful transparent cape that was featherlight and carpeted the floor behind her as she stood.

Flynn and Gobber, who had moved in with Hiccup as his most trusted domos, were excitedly peering out at the crowd below along with Anna and the rest of Elsa's family.

The two outcasts never changed, although for this ceremony, Elsa managed to persuade them to wear something a bit more presentable.

Flynn was wearing a purple rendition of the vest he usually wore.

Gobber was wearing a freshly made woolen overcoat and had his moustache braided temporarily.

Grandpabbie hobbled in with his staff, smiling widely at them all.

Sven came in with him and bowed deeply to Hiccup and Elsa. Grandpabbie did his usual ritual that only Valka recognized as Hiccup was the baby who had experienced it back then and didn't remember it.

He smiled anyway, as the little girl sneezed as Grandpabbie sprinkled sand over her head then took the baby in her arms and walked out to the balcony.

Flynn was cheering and clapping just as he bumped into someone and turned to face a lady who had large green eyes, brown eyelashes, brown eyebrows, and light freckles around her nose. What was more surprising to him was her hair that seemed extremely long as it was braided up. But that's a story for another time.

Hiccup and Elsa were already standing outside waving at the cheering crowds as Toothless cooed from inside the room. Grandpabbie walked up to them as he smiled at the parents and then raised the new Princess of Berk for everyone to see as the crowd cheered jubilantly.
