Shizukana's P.O.V.
I looked all around me.
Suddenly, the blood lust in the area increased making it hard to breathe.
Sensei's voice rang through the area. "Sasuke, calm down. I will protect you. I won't let any of my comrades get hurt."
Even though the words weren't directed to me, I still relaxed my shoulders.
"Is that so?" Zabuza said.
I looked behind me to find Tazuna nervously fidgeting. I took a deep breath and calmed my shaken nerves.
First fight. Don't die.
I made hand signs for a.
wind Jutsu. "Wind Style: Gentle Breeze," I whispered out as the air around us moved to disperse some of the mist.
The surrounding was much clearer than before.
The wind shifted near where Sasuke was and a huge sword came down. Kakashi Sensei came put of nowhere and blocked the sword with his Kunai.
Sensei dodged the second swing which came his way and stabbed Zabuza in the gut.
Instead of blood, water came gushing out.
I widened my eyes when the sword cut Kakashi Sensei in half.
The two halves turned into water.
"You copied my jutsu when you were talking to the brats," Zabuza said. "Interesting."
Kakashi Sensei ran towards the voice and pinned a kunai next to Zabuza's neck. "It's over."
I tensed up when I heard the Rogue ninja chuckled. "Do you think it's that easy."
Sensei slit Zabuza's throat only for water to come out.
Zabuza appeared behind Sensei.
"Sensei, behind you," Naruto yelled making Kakashi Sensei turn around to get a kick to the chest.
I gasped as Kakashi Sensei went crashing to the nearby river.
"Water prison Jutsu," Zabuza yelled out.
As Sensei stood up, as a ball of water engulfed him.
Zabuza laughed. "What a fool. Now you're trapped. The waters laced with chakra making it harder than steel."
The look on Sensei's face made me question our survival.
Third Person's P.O.V
"Now, I'll take care of the brats before eliminating you," Zabuza said making the Genin tense up.
Zabuza held his hand onto the water sphere as if to keep it in control. He used his free hand to weave hand signs.
A water clone emerged from the lake. This made the leaf Genin take a defensive stance. Tazuna backed away in fear.
"Run. Take Tazuna and run." Kakashi yelled from inside the sphere. "Zabuza's clone can't move so far and Zabuza has to stay here, so leave."
Shizukana looked back and forth at the boy's faces.
Sasuke was about to say something but he was interrupted by the water clone coming our way in full speed.
Sasuke threw his shuriken at the clone but it dodged and punched the Uchiha in the gut.
Sasuke threw up blood and fell to the ground.
"You brats think that a headband makes you a ninja. You are all naive children who haven't felt any sort of pain." Zabuza's clone spoke, taunting us. "You haven't had blood on your hands. You haven't killed the people most close to you."
"Demon of the Hidden Mist." Kakashi Sensei said making everyone look at him. The Silver-haired Jonin continued, "you killed a hundred classmates to become genin."
Everyone stared in horror at the Rogue ninja.
"I've killed the people whom I've shared my lunch with," Zabuza said with a smirk. "When your profile deadly that you are in the bingo book, then I'll consider you as a ninja. But upstarts like you, are just a joke."
Naruto ran towards the water clone and tried to kick Zabuza's leg but the clone caught the blond and threw him aside.
Naruto came crashing down. He skidded to halt just a few feet away from Shizukana.
Shizukana made a shadow clone and left it near Tazuna. She ran towards Naruto and helped him up.
She noticed that the blonds headband was missing. She scanned the area for the head to find it being trampled by the water clone.
With no warning, Naruto ran head-on again and tackled Zabuza's clone.
Kakashi Sensei kept yelling, telling the Genin to run.
Shizukana took a deep breath before taking out her sword. She did practice it but never actually got to master it.
She shunshined towards the clone and rammed her sword into the gut of the clone.
The clone turned into water.
Naruto grabbed Sasuke and the three of them stepped back.
Sasuke stood up and wiped his mouth.
"Put his in your bingo book, you eyebrowless freak. My name is Naruto Uzumaki and you're going down." Naruto yelled before calling out to his teammates.
"I have a plan," Naruto said making both Sasuke and Shizukana look at him.
"Now you want to work together." Sasuke taunted.
Shizukana looked back to find another clone emerging from the water.
Naruto explained his plan. "We need a distraction."
Sasuke and Naruto were needed for this to work. Shizukana volunteered to be the distraction. "I'll do it."
Everyone nodded, satisfied with their plan they turned to face the water clone.
Shizukana looked at the clone before looking at Kakashi Sensei.
"What are you doing? Run. Please just run." The Jonin trapped in the water sphere yelled.
"People who abandon their teammates are worse than scum. Aren't you the one that taught us that?" Naruto said silencing Kakashi Sensei.
Shizukana jumped into action. She ran towards Zabuza's clone and raised her sword to block the incoming blade. She then jumped up and kicked Zabuza in the neck.
Zabuza retaliated by grabbing Shizukana's leg and throwing her aside.
Shizukana's sword crashed to the ground as she made hand signs for a jutsu. "Water Style: Liquid Bullet." She yelled mid-air as small bullets of water cane out of her mouth and attacked the clone.
The clone dodged them and kicked Shizukana to the chest, sending her flying into the river.
She crashed into the water right next to Kakashi Sensei. As she got back to the surface, she screamed as something pulled her underwater.
Kakashi watched helplessly as his student came crashing down into the water.
He slammed his hands into the wall of the sphere as Shizukana was dragged into the water.
He tried using his kunai to break the wall but to no use.
He kept on hitting and punching the sphere until his knuckles started to bleed.
He stopped when Sasuke threw a large fold able Shuriken at the clone only for another one to hide in its shadow come crashing towards the Original Zabuza.
The Original Zabuza caught the first shuriken but dodged the second one.
The second one puffed into Naruto and Naruto stabbed Zabuza's arm making the Hidden mist ninja let go of the water prison.
Shizukana's P.O.V
I struggled as something grabbed my leg and dragged me down to the bottom of the river.
It was a ninja around my age. They were wearing a mask which covered their whole face.
I needed to get to the surface before I run out of oxygen. I tried to kick whoever was holding my leg but they wouldn't let go.
I was helpless. I'm not gonna give up. If I can slow down time then I would be able to get their hand off of my leg. but if I slow down the whole world then I won't be able to swim to the surface.
I closed my eyes and slowed down the area in which my attacker was. I looked down to find that my attacker was frozen in place. I kicked their face and the person vanished. it was a clone.
I deactivated my time manipulation and went back to the surface to find Sense about to jump into the water. When he saw me, Sensei grabbed me and pulled me to the land.
Sasuke, Naruto and Tazuna came and grouped around me as I gasped for air.
"Shizukana-chan, what happened?" Naruto asked me. I looked up at him and ignored the question asking, " Did it work?"
Naruto smiled and answered, "Yeah. Believe it."
Sensei helped me up. Sasuke handed me my sword. I took it and sheathed it.
"Let's go to my house where we can talk about this. it is my fault you all got into this mess." Tazuna said making us all nod.
Sensei kept his hand on my shoulder when he tensed up and collapse, dragging me with him.
I landed on my right-hand wrist which gave a sickening crack.
At the sound of that, a pained cry escaped my lips.
"Sensei." Naruto yelled out running towards Kakashi Sensei.
I slowly rolled to my side and sat on the ground.
I looked at my wrist to find it twisted in a weird angle.
Sasuke checked Sensei's pulse to find it low.
Tazuna helped me up and flinched at the position of my wrist.
"Hey kid, you alright?" Tazuna asked me.
I looked at him and gave a weak smile. "I"ll be alright."
"We need to keep moving,there might be other people after us." Sasuke said.
Tazuna and Naruto carried Sensei while Sasuke and I kept our guard on high alert.
