"AUuGhaHHahHH!" Hiwatari began to cry out in pain, grabbing at himself in agony.
"Hiwatari!" Daisuke began to move.
"Don't come any closer!" Hiwatari turned to face him, and Daisuke saw that one of Hiwatari's eyes has turned golden. Taken aback, Daisuke paused as he realized that something strange was going on. Seeing his expression, Hiwatri quickly covered it up with one of his hands.
Hiwatari's body began to slowly glow until the entire room was suddenly filled with a bright light. Hiwatari was still trying to cover up his newly-colored eye even as his body continued to grow in pain.
"Hiwatari…" he worryingly whispered.
"Stay back," Dark's voice suddenly told Daisuke. "He's using his power."
"He's what?"
White feathers started to fly around Hiwatari, emerging from his back. The feathers began to swirl around Hiwatri in a storm. A sense of unease started to grow in Daisuke.
"He's finally come out, Krad."
'Krad?'
Daisuke thought.
Dark's voice as he explained showed how serious this was. "Just as I live inside you, he lives inside Hiwatari."
Hiwatari's cries of pain finally stopped as the boy became unconscious. His body was now hovering in the air, with his arms raised perpendicularly to his body, reminiscent of a cross. White wings began to emerge from his body, unfurling until they were spread wide and outward. The unconscious boy's hair slowly turned from its normal pale blue into a golden blond.
Before Daisuke was a blond angel dressed in strange clothes.
Daisuke stared at the new person warily in silence, his thoughts in a whirl.
'Krad? Krad is Hiwatari's…'
A loud pounding came from the storage room doors. "Hey! Daisuke, Hiwatari! Are you guys in there?"
"Nagi? Is that you?!" Daisuke barely turned to face the door where Nagi's voice was coming from before Dark suddenly cried out in a panic.
"DAISUKE WATCH OUT!"

The sound of a loud explosion came from the other side of the doors, which caused no small amount of worry for Nagi.
"What was that?!" Riku asked as she and her sister caught up with him.
Nagi ignored her question. "They're trapped inside. Both of you, go find help. Find someone who can open the doors."
Luckily, the two of them didn't question it and followed his order. Nagi stayed behind and continued to listen through the other side of the door.
"Daisuke! Is Hiwatari okay?!"
It took several seconds before a reply came. "He's out at the moment."
That wasn't Daisuke's voice. "Is that Dark?!"
A silence followed his words until a panicked voice replied. "N-Nope, it's me Daisuke. I-I'm just straining my voice to shout through the doors."
Nagi pinched the bridge of his nose. This wasn't the time. "Whatever, if you're here it should make things easier. Can you get the doors open?"
"You might want to reconsider that." Another explosion sounded out from inside the room. "Seriously, you do not want to get caught up in this."
"Why not allow him to decide that for himself," another voice said. "It might be interesting to let the young Kujikawa join."
"Krad no!"
Some strange instinct told Nagi to immediately jump away from the doors. Good thing too, because right after he did so, the doors suddenly exploded and spat shrapnel and debris to where he was standing previously.
A large hole opened up to show Dark facing off against Krad in all their glory, with Krad holding a glowing feather pointed towards where the doors were.
"Ah, that's better."
Nagi ignored Krad's words as he suddenly felt the feather in his chest start to warm. He clutched his chest as the feather inside of him react to the two beings before him.
"The hell Krad?! If you keep using your power like this, your tamer will die!"
Krad was about to answer when his body seemed to freeze all of a sudden. The feather in his hand shook for a moment, before disappearing into motes of light. Krad looked at his hand in annoyance.
"Hmph, it looks like Master Satoshi is a little more annoyed now that I've involved the boy. Lucky you Dark."
Dark pounced forward with a black feather glowing in his hands towards Krad, but Krad merely swung his arm in response. A blast of energy blew Dark backward.
"Hmph, even with a rebellious Tamer, I still have enough power to spare."
Something suddenly crashed into the side of Krad's head, knocking him back a few steps and causing him to cry out in annoyance. Looking down at the offending object, Krad saw that it was some kind of stick that flew into him. He looked up and saw Nagi, still mid-swing from throwing the object.
Nagi ignored the sensation of something growing in his chest and cried out, "Now Dark!"
"You let your guard down."
Krad barely had any time to pull his guard up as Dark flew at him like a missile. As both beings clashed, their energies started to warp their surroundings as both attacks connected.
'I'd say that our little reunion went very well.' He took a glance at the spectator watching them, sensing the strange reading from before continue to change. 'And it looks like I confirmed it. He too has the potential to be a tamer. This changes things.'
Krad felt his power beginning to fade and noticed that Dark seemed to be having the same problem. Even the boy seemed to suddenly lose energy. Feeling that their reunion was ending, he allowed himself to slip back into the depths of his tamer's mind.

Nagi woke up with a pounding headache.
What happened? Dark and Krad were fighting, and the two clashed with both sides using some kind of magic attack. And then…
"Hey, you're awake."
Nagi finally realized what situation he was in.
"Why are you carrying me piggyback!" Nagi cried out in embarrassment. Riku laughed as she adjusted her grip on him, and walking next to them was Risa, who laughed as well.
"We offered to bring you home," Risa began. "Mr. Sacada's taking care of Niwa and Hiwatari, but both of them woke up already by the time we left with you."
Riku snickered from underneath him. "Don't worry, we're just taking you to our car and we can drop you off home."
He struggled and tried not to blush at the situation.
"This is embarrassing. Just put me down, I can walk now."
"Oh please," Riku rolled her eyes, not that Nagi could see them. "Stop complaining already, this is nothing to me."
"Aren't I heavy?"
"Nah, you're practically a stick. Seriously, put on some weight."
"I feel like you're gonna drop me. Can you please put me down?"
"Stop saying that and just put up with it."
Nagi finally shut up, and the walk continued in silence. Soon, the mood turned awkward.
"...why aren't you saying anything all of a sudden? It feels weird," Riku commented.
"Cause this is embarrassing."
Riku blushed as she replied back, "Well don't think of it that way. Just think of it as a classmate helping out another classmate."
Seeing that this conversation wasn't going anywhere, Nagi turned his head towards Risa.
"So Risa, you called me Nagi earlier."
"Oh, did I?" She thought about it and recalled when she called out to him and her sister. "Huh, I guess I did. It was probably because I didn't want to get your name wrong again. You can call me Risa too if you want."
He was about to shrug his shoulders in response until he remembered that he was being carried. "It's probably for the best since I know your sister too. Might be confusing if I call you both Harada."
"Hey, don't talk like I'm not here!" Risa complained while shifting Nagi.
"Sorry Harada the elder."
Riku sighed at that. "Just call me Riku. Since we're all one big group of happy friends now."
This girl really loves her sass.
"Kay, you can call me Nagi too." Nagi ignored the feeling of the feather in his chest glowing softly. He didn't' want to think about everything that's happened to it until later.
"So what happened anyway?" Risa asked. "When the two of us got there, the three of you were unconscious. And there was a giant hole where the doors were."
Well, that's one thing that Nagi didn't know how to explain. Actually, he could just tell them the truth.
"Dark was there. He was fighting some kind of nega-version of himself. White wings and blond hair. Daisuke and Hiwatari were trapped with them for some reason, and it was the white guy who blew open the doors. I think Dark called him something like Krad."
"Krad?" "Phantom Dark was here!"
The two had wildly different reactions to his answer.
Nagi shrugged. "I'm not too sure why they were there in the first place. Ask Daisuke or Hiwatari, they might know. The three of us fainted because of something the other two did."
There, telling only parts of the truth while omitting some of the more personal parts. Hopefully, they'll just think that Daisuke and Hiwatari were just uninvolved spectators caught up in someone else's problems.
"That's amazing! I can't believe that Phantom Dark was actually at our school. Do you think he's gonna come back later? What if we run into him?"
"Risa, aren't you worried that criminals are visiting our school for some reason?"
"Please, it's Dark. That's different."
"You better not be getting ideas of looking for him!"
"What? Of course not Riku."
"I know when you're lying to me Risa, I'm serious."
The two continued to bicker, even as they all entered the family car driven by their butler Tsubouchi. Nagi was dropped off at his home with the two sisters waving goodbye to him.
His uncle wasn't home today, so Nagi quickly went to his bed to take a nap before his playdate with Misaki. His sleep schedule's a bit messed up since he's usually awake at midnight, so Nagi always took the chance to take an early nap whenever he could.
Yawning to himself, he fell asleep.
I reaaalllly suck at writing fighting scenes. I'm more into writing about character interactions and slice-of-life chapters. So forgive me if this chapter seems to gloss over the events of episode 4.
