Arizona's heart had beaten fast, the nervous tingles in her stomach causing her hands to shake and her mind to go crazy. The blonde had stood in front of an office she had once enjoyed going to, the person in it always making sure she would laugh, but now, going there had caused her heart to race so fast, she believed she would faint the minute she entered his office. It was Mr. Webber's office, the office of a man who had been the head of the University for many years and would stay there for many more. Arizona had almost called him one of her friends, as he had always been kind to her and joked around whenever he'd seen her. He was the kind of boss who had made sure all of his employees were happy with their jobs, and he had told them they could always come to him, no matter what problems they were dealing with. The blonde had never thought she would ever have to come and talk to him about anything other than University related things, but what had happened between her and Callie would have to be addressed. Her girlfriend and her well-being had been more important to Arizona than her job or any possible consequence she would have to face for falling in love with her student and causing her to get pregnant with her child. Arizona had stood in front of his office for god knows how long, multiple students walking past her as she stood there motionless, her nervousness almost eating her alive. The blonde had thought so hard about her next move, she hadn't noticed a dark haired woman approaching her from behind and taking the chance to breathe against her neck. Arizona froze feeling the warm breath against her skin and turned around, moving her body for the first time in what had seemed like forever. When her ocean eyes met those of the woman she had wished she wouldn't have to see again, the blonde could see fire and lust burning inside them, making her feel more uncomfortable than ever before. Arizona swallowed hard, desperately trying to come up with the right words to stop the other woman from trying anything.

"Arizona, how's it going? I've missed you." Eliza said, staring deeply into blue eyes.

"Eliza, I'm going to stop you right there." the blonde said, stepping back to make sure the brunette wouldn't get too close to her. "I'm not going to repeat myself and I want you to listen to me."

"Okay, what is it?"

"I don't ever want you to get close to me again. I don't want your hands on me, I don't want you near me and I most certainly don't want you to try and seduce me, because it won't work. I'm in a relationship and in no way interested in repeating what we did back then. I'm sure you're a great woman, but I'm not interested and I want you to stop hitting on me."

Eliza gasped at the blonde's harsh words. "Woah, hold on. You have a girlfriend?"

"Did you even listen to the other things I said?"

"What's her name?"

"Eliza." Arizona growled, rage taking over her. "Yes, I have a girlfriend and she doesn't like you. And guess what? Neither do I. Sleeping with you was one of my worst mistakes and I'm going to be very clear here. If you ever touch or hit at me again, I'll go straight into this office and tell Mr Webber about how you've been sexually harassing me."

"You wouldn't."

"Oh yeah, I would. I love my girlfriend and you know what?" Arizona said, lowering her voice as she stepped closer to the brunette and whispered into her ear. "Her pussy feels so good around my cock, so much better than yours."

Eliza gasped hearing Arizona talk this way. "You're a bitch, Arizona."

"A bitch who won't keep up with your shit anymore."

"I should've never slept with someone like you. You couldn't satisfy me anyway." Eliza said, walking away.

"Nice try, Eliza." the blonde smirked, watching her walk away. "We both know you begged me not to stop."

"Fuck you."

Something inside Arizona had felt some sort of relief when Eliza had walked away and she had been a little proud of herself for making it clear she wasn't interested. Mentioning she was in a relationship had made her feel proud and it had felt good to say it to the brunette's face. The fear of the conversation she needed to have with Mr Webber had come rushing back when she turned back towards the door, the tingles in her stomach stronger than before. Arizona closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath, trying to calm the storm inside her heart, but the longer she had stood there, the more nervous she had become, making her unable to wait any longer. Knocking on the door, her heart had skipped a beat and her palms started to sweat.

"Come in."

Opening the door slowly, Arizona had forced herself to smile and closed the door when he had smiled back at her.

"Arizona, dear, what brings you here?"

The blonde's heart had warmed hearing his loving words. "Hi Richard. I...um, have something I need to tell you. May I have a few minutes of your time?"

"Sure, that's what I'm here for. Sit down, please."

When she had walked over to the chair, her heart had started racing again and her legs weakened, making her feel like she was about to fall if she wouldn't sit down any time soon. "T-thank you."

"So, what is it? You look awfully nervous."

"I don't know how to say this. I'm afraid you will hate me and I'm sure this will change the way you think of me."

The older man crossed his legs and leaned back in his chair. "Just tell me what's bugging you, Arizona."

Her lungs had tightened when she realized it was time to spill the tea and admit to her secret relationship with Callie. Taking a deep breath, the blonde looked at her boss and started talking. "A couple of months ago I met a woman who has rocked my world from the moment I first laid my eyes on her. I tried to resist her, tried to hold back my feelings because I knew how wrong it was, but I couldn't."

"Go on."

"Richard...she's, she's one of my students." the blonde admitted, tears filling her eyes. "Please, please don't tell me how wrong it is because I know that. I fell in love with her and...and I already know I can't let her go again."

"Is she the student you carried to your car the other day? Calliope Torres?"

Arizona's eyes widened. "W-what?"

"I was out for a walk that day and went to the park to clear my head. I had an awful day and needed some time for myself. I saw you holding her, but I was hoping you wouldn't come here to tell me this."

"W-why?"

The older man sighed at her question. "Because I like you, Arizona. I was hoping you wouldn't come here, so I don't have to do things I don't want to do. But now that you told me, I can't just ignore it like I wanted to."

"I'm so...so sorry, Richard. I...I wish she wasn't my student, but I know she's the one for me." Arizona cried, losing her ability to hold back her tears.

"How do you know that, Arizona? You barely know her and as far as I'm concerned, she is much younger than you are."

"I know because she makes me happy. She makes me so happy, my heart nearly bursts. She gets me like no one else does and she makes my heart smile. She is the most beautiful woman I have ever met and...I...I just know. She's my anchor and my shoulder to lean on and the love I have for her is so strong, I can't live another day without letting people know that she's mine." the blonde explained with tears streaming down her face. "I...I know she's the one my heart belongs to because I found out she's pregnant the other day...and even though my first reaction wasn't the finest, my heart almost bursts when I think about her carrying our child."

"Arizona!" Richard gasped, getting up from his chair. "Y-your girlfriend is pregnant!?"

The blonde slowly lifted her gaze and looked at the man in front of her, her eyes red and puffy. "Yes. W-we didn't plan to have a baby, b-but it happened."

"I can't believe you. You're kidding me, right?"

"No, no I'm not." Arizona cried. "It isn't ideal, but-"

"NOT IDEAL?" Richard yelled, but quickly lowered his voice. "You got one of your students pregnant, Arizona! You're a professor at this university and you decided to sleep with one of your students."

Rage filled the blonde's heart, but she had known it wasn't her place to get mad right now. "Do you think I wanted to fall in love with a student, Richard!? Trust me, this is the last thing I wanted, but sometimes, you can't change who your heart falls for."

The older man looked at Arizona, but hadn't said another word. He had just stood there with no emotions visible on his face. The blonde hadn't been able to look at his face any longer, so she looked down to the ground, trying to hold back any more tears from streaming down her face. Some time had passed before Richard had sat down again and stared at the woman in front of her.

"You need to put an end to this relationship, or I have to do something I don't want to do."

"Nothing you say or do will make me stop loving her and nothing will make me leave this woman, Richard."

"You're ruining your entire career, which you worked so hard for, for someone you met a couple of months ago."

Arizona's voice had suddenly become stern and her attitude had changed. "Because I love her. I have almost lost her before you saw me holding her, and it made me realize that nothing else matters more to me than her. No job, no success, no money or job could ever make me feel like she does. I am not leaving her."

"Are you sure, Arizona?"

"I've never been more sure of anything in my life." the blonde said, knowing she had made the right decision.

"You're giving me no other option." Richard sighed. "Please pack your things and go. You're fired. I'm sorry."

Closing the door behind her, Arizona had sobbed, the familiar walls of her apartment giving her the privacy she had needed. For the first time after her hard conversation with Richard, the blonde had allowed herself to let go, letting tears of sadness and frustration stream down her face as she let herself slide down to the ground. When her legs hadn't needed to support her anymore, the blonde had buried her face in her hands with her legs resting against her chest. Callie was worth losing her job, but being fired hadn't hurt less just because of that. The blonde had loved her job dearly and even though she could teach at other universities, no university would ever compare to the one she had taught at for the last few years. Quiet cries filled the room, the pain taking over her when her girlfriend walked into the living room.

"Arizona?"

The blonde had quickly wiped her tears away, trying not to cause her more pain, but Callie had already noticed the tears streaming down her face and walked over to where the blonde had sat. Sitting down next to her, the brunette wrapped her arms around her girlfriend and held her tightly. Arizona calmed down a little when she had felt Callie's arm around her, but it hadn't been enough. She had needed more, more of the person she had loved so dearly.

"Please, please hold me."

Callie had remembered how badly she had needed to be held after she had almost died, so she slowly stood up and grabbed the blonde's hand, guiding her to the bedroom. Arizona hadn't understood why her girlfriend had dragged her to her bed, but when Callie crawled on top of it and asked her to join her, she had known why. Her girlfriend wanted to comfort her, pull her close and hold her somewhere where they wouldn't have to get up after a few minutes because it was too uncomfortable. Arizona had laid down next to her, their foreheads touching while Callie wrapped her arms around her, stroking her back softly.

"What's wrong, Arizona?"

"Richard Webber fired me after I told him about us."

Callie's brown eyes had widened, feeling terribly sorry for her girlfriend. "Oh my god, are you serious? I'm so sorry, honey. I'm so sorry."

Hearing Callie's words had brought back the tears in her eyes. "I...I told him that nothing he says or does will make me leave you because...I, I love you."

"You, you told him that you love me?"

"Yes, yes I did. He also said I'm ruining my career because of someone I've only met a few months ago, but you mean so much more to me than my job."

"I love you, Arizona. I'm so...so sorry for this." Callie cried, guilt washing over her. "You lost...oh god, you lost your job because of me. You love your job."

The blonde brought one of her hands to the Latina's cheeks and stroked it softly. "I...I do, but I love you more, so much more than my job. I love you with everything I have and I'm...I'm so scared of losing you."

"You...you won't lose me. I will never try to kill myself again, I promise."

"Sweetheart." Arizona sighed. "You tried to kill yourself because the pain inside you has built up over the years and when I left...when I left, it was the final straw for you. Maybe you should ta-"

"No!" Callie stopped her. "I don't want to go to therapy. They'll think I'm crazy."

"Calliope, do you think I find you crazy?"

"I...I don't know." the brunette tried to say, but the way Arizona had glanced at her let her know she hadn't thought of her as crazy. "No…"

"Then why would a therapist think you're crazy? They just want to help you feel better, honey."

"You make me feel better." the Latina insisted, but she had already known her girlfriend wouldn't let it go.

"Look baby, I'm not trying to force you. This is your decision to make, not mine, but I think they could help you."

Callie's eyes had saddened and a tear escaped her eyes. "I'm...I'm scared of opening up to someone other than you."

"Do you want me to go with you? Maybe...maybe that helps and makes it a little easier?" Arizona asked, letting her hands run through her hair.

"If you don't mind?"

"Never."

They had laid there in silence for a while, enjoying each other's warmth and staring into each other's eyes. Arizona had calmed down and her tears had dried, but the need to talk about what had happened caused her to break the silence between them.

"I told Richard you're pregnant."

"W-what? Why? Why now?"

Arizona had felt fear taking over Callie's body and leaned over to kiss her, trying to calm her down. "Because I needed to tell him everything, sweetie. He would have found out anyway."

"O-okay. I guess you're right. How did he react?"

"He fired me after I told him and said the same things over and over again. I...I don't know what to do now, but I know that you're worth it."

The Latina's heart had skipped a beat hearing her girlfriend's words. "Can you kiss me, please?"

"There's nothing I'd rather do."

The couple had already kissed again after what had happened at the cliff, but this time, their kisses felt like the ones they had shared before they found out Callie was pregnant. Lips brushed against each other, the blonde quickly granting her access to slide her tongue into her mouth. It hadn't been the dirty kind of kisses that would lead them to sex, but kisses that helped them to explore each other and get to know each other deeper. Arizona had felt a few tears running down her cheeks when Callie kissed her, her emotions taking over her, but she had needed this more than anything. The Latina had allowed herself to let go and slowly started to trust her that she wouldn't leave her again.

"I...gotta...mm...tell...you...something...else." Arizona said in between kisses.

"What...is...it?"

Arizona smirked and pulled away. "I may or may not have told Eliza to fuck off."

"What happened?"

"I told her I have a girlfriend and that um...you know… you feel much better than her."

Callie couldn't hold back and laughed for the first time in days. "Arizona Robbins, you did not."

"Yeah, I did." the blonde giggled, falling in love with Callie's adorable laugh all over again.

The Latina smiled at her, feeling grateful she had said something to stop Eliza. "Thank you."

"There's nothing you have to thank me for."

"I love you."

"I love you too, Calliope. Um...by the way, do you think we should call your parents, now that I've told my boss? Maybe they should come over." the blonde asked, seeing the fear in her girlfriend's eyes again.

"I'm so scared." Callie whispered. "But I know I have to. Will you be there when they come over?"

"Of course, baby. I won't leave you alone." Arizona smiled. "What do you think about calling them now and then going to bed?"

"Y-yeah, um, can you stay here while I call them?"

"Yes, I'll be right here."

Callie's heart had pounded in her chest, making her feel like it was about to jump out of her chest. Having to tell people at university had seemed almost easy compared to telling her parents. The Latina had known her mother would never accept her girlfriend and her dad...oh well, he would probably freak out about her being pregnant and yell at her like the crazy person he is when he's mad. Sitting up on the bed, Callie grabbed her phone and dialed her dad's number, the anxiety in her getting stronger with each passing second. When he had picked up, Arizona had reached out for the brunette's hand and squeezed it softly.

"Hi, dad. It's me, Calliope."

"I'm calling because...uh, I need you and mom to come here as soon as possible."

"No, dad. I'm...I'm not hurt."

"I can't tell you over the phone. Can you please come here? I wouldn't call if it weren't urgent."

"Yeah...yeah, okay. Thank you, dad. I'll see you tomorrow evening at my apartment."

"I love you too. Bye."

Arizona had sat up while the brunette had talked to her dad and when she had hung up, the blonde had let out a loud sigh and turned towards Callie. "Tomorrow evening already?"

"Yeah...um...he said he doesn't have any meetings tomorrow, so he and my mom will come over."

The blonde smiled sweetly at her and pulled Callie down on the bed. "You're going to be okay." she said, letting her hand wander down to her belly. "We're going to be okay."

Feeling Arizona's hand against her belly had almost made her flinch, but she had remembered that she accepted her and the baby growing inside of her, so she let her touch her instead of pushing her away.

"Can I kiss your belly?"

"Arizona...I...um."

"Please." the blonde begged with puppy eyes.

"Okay."

Arizona slowly kissed her way down her girlfriend's chest and noticed how sensitive and responsive Callie had been to her touch. Trying not to push her into anything sexual, the blonde pulled up her shirt a little and leaned down to kiss the Latina's belly softly.

"Hi, you." Arizona smiled. "I'm your mommy and I already love you so much, little one."

Callie had gasped at her words and stopped her before she could kiss her again. "Arizona?"

"Sorry, was that too much?"

"No...I just...are you sure you want this? With me?"

"Calliope." Arizona said softly. "Yes, I want this. I want all of it as long as you want it too."

"I'm...I'm scared, but if you stay and don't walk away, I want to have this baby with you."

Arizona's face had lit up when she had heard her words. "Are you serious??"

"Yeah, I am."

Arizona had immediately sat up and got on top of Callie to press her lips against her own. "I love you! I know this is super scary, but I'm so relieved you don't want to have an abortion."

Callie smiled, her eyes filling with happiness. "As long as you're with me, I know I can do anything. I can even push this baby out of my vagina in 9 months."

The next day had been an awful one for Callie. She had thrown up god knows how many times, her nervousness adding an extra number of times she had to run to the toilet. Arizona had tried to comfort her and stroke her back when she had leaned over the toilet and made sure to make her breakfast and lunch. The Latina hadn't been able to eat much, but she had loved her girlfriend even more when she noticed how serious the blonde had been about this whole thing. Her anxiety of Arizona leaving had still been there, but it had become less and less as time had gone by. Being left by people had always been a fear buried deep inside her, but maybe therapy could help her find the calm in the storm. Arizona had already been the good man in the storm for her, but sometimes it had needed a little more than that, a little extra push from someone who had known how to help her and make them work as a team to fight against Callie's fears. The Latina wasn't built to be an unhappy person. She had liked to laugh. She had liked to laugh like a banshee at videos on YouTube and then, then she sat there, alone, in her stupid, little apartment, wondering what the hell had happened to her life. Wondering what had made her so weak, so sad and so unconfident about herself and her body, the way she looked, the way she smelled, the way she handled herself. One day, it had all changed.

The fear inside her had grown with each passing hour that had brought her closer to seeing her parents and having to tell them about her pregnancy. A part of her had known that liking girls had been nothing new to them, even though they hadn't approved of it, but informing her parents about her pregnancy had been nothing they could have prepared for beforehand. It would hit them like a bus and it would sweep them off their feet, but they would have to adapt to the new situation, no matter if they liked it or not. Arizona had tried to distract the brunette throughout the day, she had even kissed her favorite and most sensitive spot on her neck, but nothing had helped to calm Callie down. Carlos and Lucia had told her they would get there at 6 in the evening, and when it had turned 5:55, the Latina had started to hyperventilate.

"I can't do this. I, I, I, can't. I can't tell them."

"Hey, sweetie." Arizona said, walking over to where the brunette had stood. "This is super scary and I'm scared too, but we will get through this. Together. As a team. I'm here the whole time and I won't leave your side."

"T-they will judge you, Arizona. They will say bad things about you while you're...you're standing there. Are you sure you d-don't want to leave?"

"I promised to never leave you again, and I will make sure to keep my word. It makes me sad that your mom and dad probably won't accept me…but...I'm happy as long as you accept and love me. That's all that matters to me." Arizona smiled, yet her eyes had told a different story.

"I will always love and accept you. That's my promise to you. No matter what we will face, I will always love you and accept you just the way you are." Callie said, her heart beating faster. "Please don't let their words get to you, okay?"

"Thank you." the blonde smiled as a few tears escaped her eyes. "You try not to let them get to you either, okay?"

"Yeah...I just don't-"

Callie had tried to finish what she had wanted to say, but the doorbell ringing had caused her to freeze and stare at Arizona, the anxiety inside her making its appearance once again. "Oh god, Arizona...please, I can't do this."

"Yes, yes you can and you will, honey. You got this. I'm right here."

"Oh god." Callie breathed out and slowly, painfully slowly walked to the door. When she got there, the Latina had taken one last deep breath and opened the door.

"Hi." Callie said, the fear in her voice more audible than ever before.

"Mija, we're so worried about you." Lucia said. "What's wrong, dear?"

"Yeah, you really scared us with your call. What's going on, mija?"

Callie had swallowed hard when another wave of nausea had hit her body. Being pregnant and having a weak stomach in general hadn't been the greatest mix, but she had needed to find a way to hold herself back from throwing up and leaving Arizona and her parents alone in one room.

"Why don't you...um, come in."

Lucia and Carlos walked past their daughter, but had stopped when they had seen Arizona standing a few meters away from them. Callie had closed the door behind them in the meantime and stared at Arizona, the fear in both their eyes making it hard to keep their calm.

"Ms Robbins!" Carlos said, causing a shiver to run down the two women's spines. "Your name is Robbins, right?"

"Y-yeah." the blonde stuttered.

"What are you doing here?" Lucia asked, something about the situation being a little fishy to her.

"Um...Calliope and I need to talk to you about something." Arizona said, watching her girlfriend walking towards her.

"Mom, dad, I think it's best for you to sit down."

Lucia had looked at them with a stern face, not liking where this was going. "I'd rather stand."

"No, mom. You should really sit down."

Carlos had listened to their short conversation and reached out for his wife's arm. "Come on, Lucia, let's sit down."

The couple sat down next to each other and watched Callie's parents taking a seat as well. Arizona's heart had pounded in her chest and her hands had felt cold, yet also sweaty. The terrified kind of sweat. Taking a deep breath, Callie glanced at her parents again and started talking.

"Mom, dad, I um...I need to tell you something."

"You're making me nervous. What is it?" Lucia asked, the suspense almost killing her.

Arizona reached out for Callie's hand when she noticed just how terrified her girlfriend had been. As soon as her hand had touched the Latina's, she had felt their eyes on her, almost as if they had been staring at each other.

"I...um...I, oh god, I-" the brunette stuttered, her hands shaking, but Arizona had already interrupted her.

"This is really hard for both of us because this is not the way we would have liked to share this with you, but your daughter and I...um, are in a relationship."

"CALLIOPE IPHIGENIA TORRES!" her mother suddenly yelled, her voice filled with rage.

"You're in a relationship with your teacher? Are you kidding me, Calliope?" Callie's dad asked, anger rising within him.

"Please...please listen to me first." Callie begged, the situation already overwhelming her. "I...I never meant for this to happen, but I fell in love with her and she fell in love with me."

"You're not only in a relationship with a woman, but also with your teacher!? I can't believe you, Calliope. This is not how I raised you."

"You already know I'm bisexual, mom!" Callie hissed, hating when her mom complained about her being bi. "And yes, I'm in a relationship with my teacher. Mom, dad, please believe me when I say I didn't want to fall for her, but I know she's the one for me."

Her parents had just stared at them, their eyes filled with disgust and embarrassment. Carlos had never liked his daughter with a woman as her girlfriend, but he had come to terms with his daughter liking both women and men. Lucia on the other hand had never accepted Callie's sexuality and judged her whenever she could, making her feel like crap. Callie's father couldn't deny he hadn't enjoyed seeing his daughter with a woman, but what shocked him most was that she had been her teacher at university.

"Do you like taking advantage of younger women?" he asked, his question pointed towards Arizona.

"No, I...I'm not taking advantage, sir. I truly love your daughter."

"Cut the crap!" Lucia hissed. "Calliope, I'm going to tell the head of the university, you can be sure of that. I do not accept this."

Callie's eyes had filled with crocodile tears that had started streaming down her face when her own mother had threatened to tell Mr Webber. The Latina never understood why her mother had always been so strict with her, but tonight had been another level of strictness and trying to take control over her life even though Callie was already 19 years old.

"Ma'am, I already told my boss. I got fired for it."

"Well, at least one good thing has come out of this situation." Lucia hissed. "Naughty women like you shouldn't be allowed to teach."

"Mom! Stop!" Callie yelled, not believing what her mom had just said. "She's my girlfriend and I don't want you to talk to her like that."

Arizona squeezed her hand a little tighter, letting her know it was okay.

"I've never been more disappointed in you, Calliope." Carlos said, causing the tears to run down Callie's cheeks. "But, this can't be the only reason you made us get on a flight. You could have just said this over the phone."

"This isn't the...the only reason why I called you here." the brunette admitted, getting up from the couch as she wasn't able to sit down any longer.

"There's more!?" Lucia asked, watching her daughter walking around nervously.

The blonde could see how terrified her girlfriend had been, so she spoke for her again. "Mr and Ms Torres...we have something else to tell you."

"I can't possibly be worse than what you've already told us." Lucia said, her eyes still staring at her daughter.

"I'm pregnant." Callie blurted out, a wave of relief washing over her when she had finally said it out loud.

Carlos' mouth had dropped open when he had heard the word "pregnant." His daughter couldn't be pregnant, he was sure of that.

Lucia was furious, her blood boiling with anger. A part of her hadn't believed the words coming out of Callie's mouth, but when she had seen the tears streaming down her cheeks, she had known it hadn't been a joke. When she realized Callie had told the truth about her pregnancy, she had stood up and walked towards her daughter.

"YOU ARE PREGNANT!?"

"Mom, please, I didn't pl-" Callie had tried to say, but was met with a hard slap against her face, her cheek immediately turning red. The Latina had stood there motionless, not believing what has just happened as the tears streamed down her bruised cheek.

"OH MY GOD!" Arizona screamed, running towards her girlfriend and quickly pulled her away from her mother. Callie's own mother had hit her, had humiliated her in front of her and her father, not giving a shit about how it must make her feel. The blonde had pulled Callie back with her and pulled her in for a tight hug as a loud sob escaped her lips. Arizona was furious and she couldn't care less about being respectful.

"I swear to god, if you EVER lay your hands on her again, I will not hold back!" Arizona hissed, feeling her shirt getting soaked in Callie's tears.

"Excuse me!?" Lucia almost yelled, the rage getting worse with each passing minute.

"You don't hit your freaking child!! She is YOUR daughter and she's PREGNANT!! Are you out of your mind!?" Arizona screamed, holding Callie even tighter.

"You don't tell me what I can and can't do."

"Ms Torres…" the blonde said, lowering her voice. "I've tried to be respectful and I've tried not to upset you more than the news of Callie being pregnant already have, but I won't tolerate you hitting my girlfriend, the mother of my unborn child."

"You two are sick." Lucia said with disgust in her voice. "I'm out of here." she said and grabbed her purse, walking to the door and slamming it shut behind her.

Callie had cried so badly, she thought she would never stop crying again. The slap hadn't hurt as bad anymore, but the shock of being hit by her own mother had hurt so much, she thought she would never get over it. Arizona had held her and rubbed her back softly, letting her know she was there and wouldn't leave while Carlos had still sat on the couch, the shock visible on his face.

"Calliope." he said, trying to get his daughter's attention, but Callie couldn't bring herself to face him again. "Calliope, look at me."

Slowly turning around, her mother's hand had still been visible on her face as more tears ran down her cheek. "I'm sorry, mija. Your mom should have never hit you."

"I...w-why can't you just accept me?" she cried.

"Because you can't even be honest about your damn pregnancy! Your girlfriend is a WOMAN, how is she supposed to get you pregnant? I'm shocked and hurt that you're pregnant, but I'm more hurt because you think I'm dumb enough to fall for your lies."

"She's not lying sir. I was born with um...male genitals. The baby is mine."

"So, you're a man?" Carlos asked, causing Callie to arch her eyebrows.

"No, I'm a woman."

"Technically, you're a man, which makes it less bad my daughter is with you."

"DAD!" Callie yelled, not believing her father's words. "Stop saying that! Just because Arizona was born with a penis doesn't mean she's any less of a woman than I am!"

"You're delusional and you don't even notice it."

"And you're being the worst father anyone could have and you don't even notice it."

Carlos' eyes had widened and his blood had started boiling. "I'm done here." he said and got up to walk towards the door. "I've never been more disappointed in you."

With that, he had walked out of the door and slammed the door shut, just like Callie's mother had. Arizona had never felt so nauseous in her life and she couldn't believe what had just happened. The blonde had sort of expected her girlfriend's parents not to approve of their relationship or the pregnancy, but Lucia hitting her own daughter had shocked her and had broken her heart for Callie.

Callie had started sobbing uncontrollably, the pain taking over her entire body. Arizona reached out for her hand and quickly pulled her into her arms again, knowing she had needed her right now. The brunette's body had shaken and her cries had been so heart wrenching, if had caused Arizona to cry with her.

"I'm so sorry." the blonde gasped, stroking her back. "You don't deserve this, none of it. I'm so sorry, honey."

"T-they hate me. They hate us. M-me, y-you and the b-baby."

"Shhh, they don't hate you or the baby." Arizona cried. "They just don't know how to handle it and act like crazy people."

The Latina's groans and sobs had echoed in the room, breaking Arizona's heart even more. She had held her close the whole time, but when her knees had given in, she walked over to the couch to sit Callie down when suddenly, the doorbell had rung.

"A-are you expecting anyone?" Arizona asked, but Callie shook her head. "Maybe your parents are back, let me check."

Opening the door, the blonde had seen someone she had never expected to see.

"Richard? What are you doing here?"
