You think that you get used to things when in reality you really don't, Aincrad as the people here call it is a strange place not because there are so many people here but the fact that everyone is from different places.

We arent a hidden village anymore, not outlawed at least, the samurais and knights\ players, train with our border guards every day away from the island\ mountain.

I can't get used to seeing people either being transported in, by using the crystals or walking here by crossing the desert, right now I'm doing my job by moving from small village to small village as a member of the local guard.

The island is nothing more than one big boiling pot of oddballs and yes I'm included in that pot.

There are people here that were believed to have been wiped out, people that look like sharks have taken over a small town that's next to a river that crosses into every other village.

There are people who can breathe underwater without making any hand seals and they are already training those they can find in their water stiles.

The problem with the mountain is the fact that it has so many environments on it, so people have either migrated to places that they liked more or were taken to places where their kekkei genkai won't hurt those around them.

There are also towns like the one I'm waking in right now that formed because people just needed something to do and so they found the dragon's scales that apparently the players pay a lot of money for.

These people live here in constant threat of the dragons that live in this part of the mountain, but they refuse to leave because they found themselves being able to use what they know here.

Be it having to dg through petrified dragon's shit to get to a rare stone -or waiting for a random creature foolish enough to attack one of the flying lizards to die because of its stupidity.

Places like this one are usually the safest to be around and the most dangerous to live in, one because the people have to rely on each other to live, so crime is nearly none existent and dangerous because there are freaking dragons everywhere.

I want to try and use the teleporters that exist here but I need to patrol to see if any new towns have popped out recently, I have to do this for two reasons, one to avoid fights between villages, and the other to keep track of the population on the mountain.

It's just a matter of getting everyone to stand in front of me and I count all of the people after that it's more patroling and handing what I discovered to the higher ups.

I know what you're thinking, why would we just accept not being a hidden village anymore, the reason is simpler than you can imagine.

Survival, the desert has taught us one thing survival is what is most important, and by that I mean the survival of the entire village is what's important.

A ninja can die as long as the mission is completed but what good is it, if there is nowhere to go back to, even those of us that are sent somewhere else for years know that the village is waiting for us.

Now imagine the village no longer being there, what good is going on those missions? for what are we living for anymore? what is our purpose?

This way we continue to exist and it's not like we left the desert completely, somehow the mountain has a desert in it too, plus most of our guard is trained in the desert outside of the island.

"Nezuko!"

I hear the voice of that annoying samurai, and sure enough there he is chasing after Tanjiro's sister again and the woman is running away from him at the lowest speed she can manage.

"Nezuko chan if I catch you you have to go eat with me tonight," Zenitsu says to Nezuko who continues to run away from him

I can't help but smirk as the idiot tries to catch the woman who shrinks to the size of a small child and avoids his arms, she backflips, runs up and down trees, and even steps on his face all the while the idiot can't seem to catch her.

And yet there's a smile on the woman's face.

"It can't be," I say to myself as I look at her happy expression, she wants him to chase her

"Don't tell me she actually likes the guy" I say as she runs past me and Zenitsu runs into me.

Normally I wouldn't do this but, she did that on purpose, there's no way she couldn't have seen me.

"Well you caught me, so where are you taking me to eat tonight?" I ask Zenitsu who looks past me

I turn to look at Nezuko and I notice her pink eyes angrily glaring at me, she can glare all she wants it's her fault for making the guy run into me.

"You see I invited Nezuko" Zenitsu begins to say to me before the woman graves his hand and jumps off the tree.

I can't help but smirk, this is going to be fun.

"Oh, I see so you played with me and said that if you caught a woman you would take her to eat," I say out loud as I notice a couple of players and samurais walking past us, no doubt patrolling as well.

One of them took the bait.

"So let me get this straight, he caught you and so he would take you out to eat, but the other woman over there stole him from you," the samurai says to me as a giant tooth smile forms on his face.

I watch as he jumps off the tree we are standing on and walks up to the two love birds, I can't hear what they're saying but judging by how Nezuko has crossed her arms and walks away angrily I might have gone overboard a bit.

I watch the samurai walks back to the tree I'm standing on before taking a deep breath and jumping onto the branch I'm standing on.

"Sorry he says he'll pick you up around eight and if it's okay if you meet him in the redlight district," the samurai says to me before he runs off to catch up to the rest of his team

He didn't even wait for me to answer him before running off

It's gotten late and I still need to take a bath and get a change of clothes, but what does someone wear when they go out to eat.

"Hey Kankuro, do you know what girls usually wear when they go eat with a guy. I mean you go out a lot at night" I ask my brother who looks at me with wide eyes.

"Its not a date right?" he asks me

"No I found the samurai that I told you about chasing after that woman again and I tried to play a trick on them and somehow it got turned back on me."

"So what do girls wear" I explain to him before repeating myself

"They wear dresses and comb their hair down, that's all I know" Kankuro answers me

"A dress, I don't have any of those, guess I'll just wear my uniform and leave at that," I say to myself as I start to change

"So where are you two going to meet?" Kankuro asks me as Gaara walks past him

"He said to meet him in the redlight district" I answer him and I notice that Gaara stops walking

"At what time?" Kankuro says to me

"Around eight, but I'll be late considering I still have to change so close the door," I say to my brother before closing the door on him.
