Warning: spanking, mention of spanking
"Hangar." Scott nodded and followed after his father, trying to make sure there was enough distance between them. Chris seemed to realize this and he stopped walking, allowing Scott to catch up to him before putting a hand around the back of his neck and hurrying him along. They got to the Blackbird and Chris pushed Scott to the cockpit, forcing him to sit.
"Dad-"
"Hush." Chris checked nothing more than confirming the plane had just been looked over and the fuel before starting it up. "Buckle up, Scott." Scott obeyed without saying anything and Chris took off.
"I'm sorry," Scott said again after they'd been in the air for an hour.
"Kid, I can't-" Chris sighed. "I don't want to hear another word from you right now, son, or I'll switch to autopilot and give you a warm up." Scott hung his head. The rest of the flight was spent in silence until Chris spotted the island. He landed near the volcano and sighed as he pulled out his phone.
"Who-?" Scott was silenced with a look from his father.
"Hello Storm. I'm on the island. Yes. I'll be waiting. You know what- send Worthington as well. I told him to look after my boys and instead, he was busy making eyes at his girl. Alright. Thank you." Chris hung up and lowered the ramp for his sons, and apparently Angel, to join them.
"Hi, Dad," Scott heard Alex say, timidly. Scott looked and saw him, Gabriel, and Warren standing awkwardly in the plane.
"Alexander. Gabriel. Front and center." The two dragged their feet, but stood in front of Chris. "What have you done wrong?"
"We disobeyed you by disobeying Storm."
"We left the ship without permission."
"What do you deserve?"
"Discipline, Dad," they said at the same time. Chris walked back over to Scott and held out his hand. Scott wordlessly handed him the pocket knife. Chris went back to his other two sons and handed the knife to Alex.
"You've seen them. Both of you, bring me back a switch."
"Dad!"
"You promised!"
"I told you what would happen, boys. Now go, before I decide to get the rest of your friends in here to watch." Alex and Gabriel groaned, but walked off the plane.
"Chris-"
"I trusted you to keep my boys safe, Warren. You swore to me you would, yet here they are, off the ship! Anything could have happened! And where were you? Off the ship on a date! All of you knew better than to leave the ship-"
"No offence, Chris, but I'm not your kid. You can't talk to me like this."
"You are also an instructor. You and Storm were supposed to be the chaperones. From my understanding, it was Storm's break and you were on duty. You shirked your responsibility, Warren. Not just for my boys, but for every single student who came on the cruise. Xavier will have another meeting with you, but as for me, since we specifically talked about what you were responsible for, well, you're going to see what you helped cause."
"Chris-!"
"You let my boys leave the ship because you wanted to have time with your girlfriend. You let your desires overshadow your responsibilities. Quite honestly, if you were my son, you'd be out there cutting a switch as well. Since you're not, you're going to sit or stand right there, and you're going to watch me punish my boys. Something that could have been prevented if you had been paying attention."
"Scott, you gotta help me out, man!"
"Scott is in enough trouble, Mr. Worthington. I can assure you, he's not going to stick his neck out for anyone right now. Boys, good. Alexander, I want you to stand against that wall right there. No, don't turn. You could have stopped this instead of going along, so you get to witness this as well. Gabriel. Present yourself."
"H-how?"
"Knees in the seat and bent," Chris ordered as he took the switch from Gabriel's hand. Gabriel lowered his pants and underwear and got into the commanded position. Scott covered his ears and looked out the window in front of him, trying to stop the tears from falling at the sound of his baby brother being switched. The effort was in vain, however, and Scott felt, and heard, himself weeping along with his brothers.
"DADDY!" Chris stopped spanking Gabriel and took a few deep breaths.
"Get your pants up and stand where Alex is. Alexander. Get your ass over here and in position." Alex wiped at his face and quickly did as he was told. Chris saw him shaking and sighed. He put a hand on his back, trying to comfort him. "You only have fifteen coming, son. It'll be over before you know it." With that, Chris raised the switch from Alex and brought it down. Warren covered his ears and clenched his eyes shut, trying to pretend that he couldn't hear his best friend's brother crying out in pain.
"Stop!" he cried, dropping to his knees. The sound didn't stop for another moment, but finally, it was quiet- save for the sobbing of all three Summers' boys.
"Go stand next to Gabriel," Chris ordered. "Scott Christopher Summers. Come here." The three looked up in shock as Scott slowly walked from his seat to Chris.
"Yes sir?"
"What have you done wrong?"
"I… I failed to inform you immediately about Alex and Gabe, therefore putting their lives in unnecessary danger."
"What do you deserve?"
"Discipline, sir."
"Get me the brush." Scott handed it over and waited. "Present yourself. Same position as your brothers." Scott nodded and dropped his pants and underwear before putting his knees in the chair and bending over the back. Chris brought the brush up, fully intending to use it, but his arm dropped at the last second, the brush falling out of his hand and clattering to the floor.
"Dad?" Scott asked, turning his head.
"Get your pants up and sit. I'm not done with you."
"Yes sir." Scott quickly pulled his boxers and pants up before turning and sitting in the same seat. Chris looked at Warren and scowled.
"Warren. Don't ever put my boys, or any of your charges, in danger again. If you do, then I'll tan your hide as well. Am I clear?"
"Yes Corsair!" Warren answered, not a little bit of fear etched on his face from that threat.
"Dismissed. I'd get back to the ship if I were you." Warren flew away, not wanting to be in Chris' presence any longer. Chris turned and looked at his youngest sons, sighing. "This will not happen again."
"No sir!" they said together.
"I absolutely hated that, boys. I never… I never thought I'd have to switch either of you. I thought the threat of it would be enough of a deterrent, but it seems as though I was mistaken. Gabriel, as soon as you get home, you're grounded for two weeks. Alexander, as soon as you get home, we're calling Andrew and you will let him know what you did today, and you will accept whatever punishment he decides. Scott, I might not be able to ground you, but until September, I'm still an instructor and you're not. You will be in the gym working your ass off for two weeks once we get home- starting tomorrow. Am I understood, boys?"
"Yes, sir."
"Yes, Dad."
"But- yes, sir."
"Alright. Don't leave the ship again without Storm's approval. And I forgive you boys, ok? I just can't bear the thought of something happening to you. It would kill me. I love you three so damn much it hurts. Promise me you won't put me in a position like this where I have to switch you two again, ok?" Gabriel and Alex rushed to Chris and hugged him.
"Sorry Dad!"
"I'm sorry, too!" Chris sighed and held them to him.
"I know, boys. I know." Chris kissed both of their foreheads.
"Ok. I love you both, very, very much. Continue sending me pictures, and behave."
"We, we get to stay?" Alex questioned.
"For safety reasons concerning the cruise, yes. But make no mistake, you two. If Storm has to call me again, you will come home, and I'll spank you every night for as long as Alex is home with us. Am I clear?"
"Yes sir."
"Good. Hey. I forgive you two, ok? Now go enjoy the rest of your cruise." Chris watched Gabriel pick up Alex and fly off towards the ship. He received a text seconds later from Storm, saying those two and Warren were back on the ship. He let out a relieved breath and went to the cockpit.
"Am I staying here?" Scott asked quietly.
"You are." Chris heard Scott buckle up and he got the plane in the air. After he felt he was truly calm enough, he put the plane on autopilot and went back to his oldest child.
"Where's the brush?" Scott asked, picking at the fabric on his pants.
"Not here. I need to apologize." Scott jerked his head up and looked at his father.
"You're… you're serious?"
"Last week, I made you a promise. I told you that unless you put your life in danger, I wouldn't spank you. I can't…" Chris sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "From now on, I expect you to talk to me first and immediately if your brothers are in any sort of danger. If you don't, I don't know if I can refrain myself from including you in their punishment."
"I got it. It won't happen again, Dad, I promise." Chris nodded.
"The gym still stands, though. That's me as your instructor, though, not your dad. Is that…?"
"I'll survive. And… thanks, Dad. But I do deserve something for my part in this-"
"Did you tell them to go? Did you even give them the idea?"
"No sir. I told Gabe several times to go to Storm and to stay on the ship."
"Then you had no part in this. You called Storm and alerted her. I just want to be the first call next time, son."
"If there is a next time," Scott said with a small smirk.
"They're Summers males. There'll be a next time."
"Um… Am I ok to copilot now? Or is this another part of my punishment?"
"Just one more thing. I love you, and I am proud that you didn't try to cover this up to keep them out of trouble."
"No way. This wasn't like them coming home past curfew, Dad. This… They could have been hurt." Chris nodded his agreement and then narrowed his eyes.
"When have they come home past curfew?" Scott gave him a grin and brushed past him to the cockpit.
