Chapter:14 Fire, Lightning, and Judgement

Out to the docks outside of Beacon. Air Buses are seen picking up the last few civilians and students. Port, Oobleck, Seier, and Shori oversee the evacuation.

"That's it! Everybody on board! This is a mandatory evacuation!" Port shouted as everyone got inside the flying transportation.

"A safe zone has been established in Vale! Please, remain calm and listen to Atlas personnel!" Bart shouted along.

"Form a line, people! Form a line! No cutting!" Seier yelled at the one's who tried.

Vic was already with a bruised Nora and Ren as their Pokemons are back inside their Pokeballs from their respective trainers.

Weiss stares at what is in front of her, in disbelief. As Ruby comes running down the path, Zwei barks to alert Weiss to her leader's presence while Temari dragging a knocked out Roman Torchwick by her beak, and Weiss turns around to greet her.

"Ruby!" Weiss called out in relief.

"Oh, I found you!" Ruby called in joy.

"Ruby, where have you-"

"Don't worry, I'm fine! What's going on?" Ruby assured her and asked.

Unsure of what to say, Weiss lowers her gaze sadly.

"Weiss? What is it?" Ruby asked in worry.

Weiss steps aside, giving Ruby a clear view of Blake and Yang lying on the ground. Both girls have bandages wrapped around their wounds, and the latter is unconscious. Shori is currently healing their wounds but he felt ashamed when he couldn't help with Yang's arm. Blake reaches over and places her hand on Yang's.

"I'm sorry," Blake apologized with a whimper as she cried in despair.

Ruby reaches out and opens her mouth to say something, but in her emotional state, she doesn't know what to say.

"There's nothing I can do with this, my Semblance doesn't help with this type of injury," Shori said with shame as he sat down on one of the seats and placed his left hand on his forehead with a frown.

"I'm so sorry," Blake apologized again while curling up and with her eyes closed.

"Yang..." Ruby couldn't think of anything to say, she doesn't have any of this kind of experience and it was breaking her.

Sun then walk over to them and said, "Hey. She's gonna be okay. The soldiers have a ship ready to take you guys to Vale."

"But Jaune and Pyrrha are still missing," Nora said as she attempts to stand, but she quickly sits back down, groaning and holding her side.

"Don't pressure yourself, sis," Vic said in worry.

"What!?" Ruby yelled in shock.

"Look, guys, that giant Grimm is circling the school! Even the White Fang are pulling out! We all have to go, now!" Sun shouted at them as he was very worried about them, especially Blake.

"We're not... leaving!" Ren tried to stand but fell to his knees. "Ugh!"

"Easy now kid," Shori said as he began to heal Ren and Nora's injuries with his Semblance.

"I'll find them... I'll find them, and I'll bring them back," Ruby said with determination.

"No! We will find them," Weiss said as she then turned to Ren, Nora, and Vic. "Watch after Blake and Yang. We'll be back."

"Wait take me with you!" Vic quickly cut in.

"No! It's dangerous there!" Nora shouted in worry for her little brother.

"I didn't become a trainer without knowing the risk in it, so don't worry about me," Vic tried to assure.

"I already lose you before, but I'm not losing you again!" Nora shouted as she weakly tried to stand up.

"Everyone enough!" Shori roared at them angrily as everyone look at him in shock, he then calms down and sighs. "I might have a solution, but it isn't permanent."

Shori then put his hands on Ren and Nora's head as he then used his Semblance on the two childhood friends. The two then felt stronger but they still feel the pain.

"I healed you enough for you to get your teammates here before we leave, so you guys better be quick," Shori said as the five of them nods.

"Alright let's go!" Vic shouted as he, Ruby, Weiss, Ren, and Nora ran back to Beacon to get their friends back.

Shori could sigh as he saw them running to the distance.

Sun walk to him and asked, "Are you sure they'll be okay?"

"As a trainer kid, the survival of others is our main priority, and Arceus be damned that Vic wouldn't succeed," Shori said as he saw his students getting smaller and smaller. "We better get these two inside."

The two then get some help to carry the broken Blake and unconscious Yang.

Back in Beacon, Ferno the Arcanine came out of the doors of Beacon Tower with Jaune and Pyrrha on his back.

The two then get off the Legendary Pokemon as said Pokemon began to look around warily.

They could hear Ozpin and Cinder fighting inside the tower as Ferno growled in their direction.

"Okay, I think I have Glynda's number," Jaune said as he grabbed his Scroll to look for the blonde deputy's number. "Oh, where is it?"

While Jaune walked away, Pyrrha turns and stares silently at Beacon Tower. Jaune's voice soon breaks her concentration.

"Pyrrha? What was all of that?" Jaune asked in worry.

"I-" She was cut off by an explosion, followed by Cinder using fire to fly up through the elevator shaft. The two teens stare at the tower in surprise.

"But... Ozpin..." Jaune stuttered in fear.

"There's no time," Pyrrha said as she shakes her head, then looks at Jaune, quickly adopting a determined tone. "Go. Get to Vale and call for help."

"Huh? What are you gonna do?" Jaune asked.

Pyrrha slowly turns her head to stare up at the top of Beacon Tower. Following her gaze, Jaune realizes what she plans to do.

"No... no, Pyrrha, you can't. You saw how powerful she is! Pyrrha, I won't let you do-"

Suddenly, Pyrrha grabs Jaune's head in both hands and silences him with a long kiss on the lips. After a moment of hesitation, he gently pulls her in and returns the kiss, while Pyrrha slightly raises her foot behind her. She then pulls away, ending the kiss, and stares into his eyes, one hand on his cheek and the other on his chest.

"I'm sorry," Pyrrha said sadly as she then uses her Semblance on his armor, pushing him directly into a nearby locker, which slams shut from the impact.

"Hey! Wait! Stop, stop! Pyrrha, please don't do this!" Jaune pleaded but Pyrrha didn't listen.

Pyrrha walks over to the locker and begins typing coordinates into it. She looks him in the eyes one last time, before stepping back and watching the locker fly away. Once it vanishes into the distance, she clenches her fists and, once again, adopts a determined demeanor as she walks toward the tower.

Once she steps through the entrance, she runs to the nearest elevator and uses her Semblance to force the doors open. Inside, she finds that Cinder has left a large hole in the floor and roof of the elevator on her way up. Pyrrha steps inside the elevator close her eyes and begin mustering all of her strength. The elevator begins shaking. She focuses even harder, straining herself until the elevator begins a quick ascent toward the top.

Meanwhile, Ruby, Weiss, Ren, Nora, and Vic are on their way back to Beacon campus, when Weiss' Scroll begins ringing.

"It's Jaune!" Weiss answered, "Where are you?"

In the streets somewhere in Vale, Jaune stood by his previous metal prison with a panicked look.

"Weiss! Please, you have to stop her!" Jaune yelled in desperation.

"What!?" Weiss shouted through his scroll.

"Pyrrha! She's going after that woman at the top of the tower! She doesn't stand a chance!"

"Don't worry about me!" He leaned to a wall with his voice full of sadness. "Please, you have to save Pyrrha."

"We will. Are you okay?" Weiss asked in worry.

With one last flare of emotion, Jaune screams and throws his Scroll onto the ground, breaking it. He collapses onto his hands and knees, crying.

"Please," He could only in despair with his broken Scroll in front of him.

'Is this what you want to happen?'

'What?' Jaune thought in confusion from the sudden voice, it sounds too regal and powerful yet held a pleasing tone.

'Is this what you want to be, a coward?'

'No,' Jaune thought angrily.

'Then what is your wish young man? What is your desire?'

'I... I... I wanted to be a hero, a hero that slays evil,' Jaune thought as he clenched his fists.

'So you think that you can accomplish this by crying in the streets like a child? Are you really up to this kind of responsibility? There is more evil than these monsters you speak of, there are humans who committed some of the darkest crimes that are inhumane to you and everyone?'

"I... I don't know," Jaune could only mutter.

'Then what is your true wish, what do you desire than to become a hero you have spoken of?!'

"I... I wanted to save everyone," Jaune said as his knuckles went white. "I want to see everyone smile knowing there is nothing to fear, that there is nothing hide and that there is nothing to be cried at."

'Then stand up! Grab your blade, grab your shield, and stand up! A hero never wavers, a hero never quits, so show them who you truly are!'

Jaune unsheathed Crocea Mors as he stood on his feet with a newfound determination.

"I will never lose her anymore!" Jaune screamed to the heavens in rage as his sword points to the air.

'Then shout my name descendant of Arc! Shout my name for the heavens to hear!'

Jaune then felt something registered in his mind as he looked to the sky and shouted, "Arceus!"

And in a flash of light, he was gone from his previous spot, and was left is a scorched symbol of a cross-like wheel from where he once stood.

In the Air Bus, Seier is on the top deck as look at the now broken school, she could've gone back to Shori to look for the students, till her eyes glowed and something registered in her head.

"Fire, Lightning, Silver, Ice, and Mind together to fight the Thief who stole the heart of Maiden, together they defend the Warrior with blessings they have received, and in their times of trouble; a Knight from a forgotten time will intervene and force the Thief away," Seier mumbled as she saw a dragon-like Grimm flying around Beacon. "I better hope that they'll be okay."

At the top of the tower, in Ozpin's office, a large amount of smoke flows out from the elevator, masking the entrance of Cinder Fall. She confidently strides to the window across the room, a smirk on her face. As if sensing her presence, the Wyvern climbs up to the top, peers at her through the window, and screeches.

"Shhhh... This is your home now," Cinder said with a gentle, comforting tone.

The Wyvern stares at her and utters a shorter, quieter screech. Cinder backs away from the window and holds her hand out to the side, creating a fireball in her palm. The sound of sparks distracts her, and she looks over her shoulder at the elevator, her fireball dissipating. After a few moments, the sparks come to a stop, and immediately upon the elevator doors' opening, Pyrrha's spear flies toward Cinder, who casually leans to her right to dodge with a smirk on her face.

The spear is soon followed by Pyrrha's shield, backed by Pyrrha herself, and Cinder puts her arms up, blocking it and pushing it away. While Cinder uses fire to hover in the air, Pyrrha calls her spear and shield back to her with polarity, staring down her opponent. Cinder gains a fiery glow around her eyes and swipes her hand through the air, attacking Pyrrha with an arc of fire. She then shoots a stream of fire, which Pyrrha dives over.

Six small fireballs form in a circle behind Cinder, and she sends another streak of fire toward Pyrrha, who barely avoids it. Once again, the Maiden sends a stream of fire the young redhead's way, but this time, Pyrrha blocks it with her shield. She leaps toward Cinder, powering through the flame, and as soon as the fire stops, she spins around and slashes Cinder's arm with her spear. However, Cinder catches the blade and pulls, turning Pyrrha around. Cinder slams her palm into Pyrrha's stomach, and fire bursts forth, blasting Pyrrha away.

Pyrrha slams into a wall and falls to her hands and knees. She then stands back up and faces Cinder with determination still in her eyes. Cinder propels herself forward with flames jetting from her hands, smirking once again. She attempts to slam into Pyrrha's abdomen, but Pyrrha leaps into the air above her and wraps her arm around Cinder's. As Cinder slows to a stop, Pyrrha positions herself to place her feet on the wall behind her and pushes off, flipping herself over Cinder. She uses the momentum to flip and toss Cinder across the floor.

Cinder lands on her front and, as she slides, she pushes off the floor to get back on her feet and perform a back-handspring. Her smirk turns into a look of slight concern upon the sight of Pyrrha charging forward to slam her shield into Cinder's abdomen and push her over. As Cinder stumbles backward, Pyrrha hits Cinder's right hand with the blunt end of her spear, then slashes Cinder's left hand with the spear's blade. She then spins around and slashes across Cinder's abdomen and legs.

Pyrrha spins around to attack again, but Cinder performs a backflip whilst kicking Pyrrha, with flames trailing behind her foot. The kick knocks Pyrrha into the air, and Pyrrha quickly rights herself. She flips her spear in her grip, holds it back, and then tosses it toward Cinder while firing the gun mechanism. Six fireballs appear around Cinder again, but they dissipate when Cinder backhands the spear away. Pyrrha's shield then flies toward her, and she hits it away, as well. After being momentarily distracted by the shield, Cinder returns her attention to Pyrrha and gains a look of slight surprise, then annoyance.

Pyrrha launches herself toward Cinder and puts her arms around her, tackling her. The two turn each other in mid-air, fighting to be the one on top. Upon their landing, the room fills with a white cloud. When the dust settles, Pyrrha has Cinder in a chokehold, and Cinder is barely managing to hold Pyrrha's spear away from her neck. The Wyvern flies away, and Cinder's eyes begin glowing as she applies heat to the spear in her hands. Her grip tightens as she heats the spear more and more, staring over her shoulder at Pyrrha.

Upon hearing a loud screech, Cinder turns her gaze ahead and smirks, while Pyrrha gains a look of fear. While Pyrrha sets her focus on the Wyvern that is flying toward the tower, Cinder finally snaps the spear's melted blade into pieces. Just before the Wyvern slams its wing into the roof of Ozpin's office, Cinder elbows Pyrrha in the abdomen. The room fills with a green glow as the windows shatter and Pyrrha goes flying across the room. Giant cogs and debris come crashing down in the office, and the structure containing the CCT's transmitter falls to the ground outside, in pieces.

Pyrrha crawls toward her shield, while Cinder watches on from her position levitating off the floor with flame jetting from her feet. While looking for a way to distract Cinder, Pyrrha notices Ozpin's collapsed metal desk and uses her polarity to throw it at the corrupt Maiden, knocking her to the floor. She then quickly grabs her shield and rolls across the floor, sitting up on her knees and holding the shield up. With a burst of flame, Cinder throws the desk off of herself and levitates in the air.

Pyrrha rolls out of the way of two streams of fire that Cinder sends her way and attempts to block a third. However, the force of the third sends Pyrrha tumbling backward, and the floor momentarily catches fire while Pyrrha rolls to her feet. From behind the wall of flame, Pyrrha throws her shield at Cinder, who confidently backhands it away. She then looks up in surprise to see a multitude of giant cogs floating in the air around her. Using her polarity, Pyrrha directs her shield to knock Cinder's feet from beneath her and then slams a cog down on Cinder's abdomen to pin her to the floor. She calls her shield back to her arm, then brings the cogs together into a pile on top of Cinder. However, Cinder blasts them away with a powerful burst of fire, sending them in all directions. One of the cogs flies toward Pyrrha, who raises her shield to block, in vain. The force of the impact slams her into the remains of a wall, taking away the last of her Aura.

Cinder forms an obsidian bow in her hand. As she raises it and draws back an obsidian arrow, Pyrrha charges forward, spins, and throws her shield at her. Cinder loses the arrow, which shatters upon impact with the side of the shield. However, as the fragments part ways above and below the shield, they glow orange and rejoin each other on the other side. The fragments melt into each other and cool into the shape of an arrow, which continues on its path directly into Pyrrha's ankle. Pyrrha collapses in pain. She attempts to pull herself to her feet, but the pain is too much. Both ends of the arrow break off, making removal impossible. She turns over onto her hands and knees as Cinder moves to stand in front of her.

"It's unfortunate you were promised a power that was never truly yours," Cinder said as she kneeled and lifts Pyrrha's chin, staring into her eyes and smiling. "But take comfort in knowing that I will use it in ways you could never have imagined."

Pyrrha pulls away, sitting up and matched Cinder's stare as she says, "Do you believe in destiny?"

Cinder frown while narrowing her eyes and says, "Yes."

Cinder stands back up and forms an obsidian bow and arrow again. She pulls back the arrow, lowering the bow to aim at her weakened opponent. Pyrrha sitting with her eyes closed, accepting the fate that awaits her as Cinder loses the arrow, but she was blasted away by an invisible force along with the arrow.

Pyrrha looked around to find where it came from and was in shock and horror to see Vic and Ruby on Temari the Swellow, Nora and Weiss on Bacchus the Crobat, and Ren being carried by Monarch the Butterfree.

"The queen and her cavalry have arrived!" Nora declared as she held her weapon tightly.

"Pyrrha! We're here to save you!" Ruby declared as well with her arms up and her weapon in hand.

"No guys! Go back! Let me handle this!" Pyrrha pleaded for them.

"And let you die!" Vic yelled at her angrily, which the Champion flinch at. "Do you think after what happens before will stop today, then think again as today; no one is left behind!"

Monarch, Bacchus, and Temari called out their names in agreement.

Cinder slowly stood up as she glared at Vic and said, "Cute."

Then the Wyvern came for them, but the three Pokemons quickly threw their passengers to the tower and flew away from the dragon-like Grimm.

The five students then land on the ground with ease having Vic and Nora in front, Ren and Weiss in the middle, and Ruby in the very back protecting Pyrrha.

"Challenging me will be the worst mistake of your life," Cinder threatened them by creating flames on her hand, but they didn't waver by one bit.

"I made more mistakes than I ever had, but protecting my friends ain't part of that list," Vic said as he twirled Sol Valor.

Cinder then immediately fired arrows from her obsidian bow, with them having very hot tips, and is headed at the students. Vic and Nora went and deflect them with Vic twirling his staff to hit most of the arrows while Nora gave powerful swings that generate enough wind to send them back. Ruby, Weiss, and Ren gave cover fire by raining down bullets unto the Fake Maiden, but Cinder used her powers to use some of the broken obsidian to cut all of the bullets.

Vic and Nora then charged forward at the thief as Nora's weapon is leaving trials of electricity while Vic's leaves trails of fire. Cinder quickly made two blades from the broken obsidian to parry the sibling's attack as the three of them continued to attack and parry with each other.

When Cinder went for a downward strike with both blades, Vic and Nora stopped it with the long shaft of their weapon and used their combined strength to push the Maiden away and for Vic to kick her away.

The Maiden glared at them and charged forward again to continue their fight.

With the three flyers, the three of them are currently outrunning the Wyvern as Bacchus and Temari are giving out chip damage while Monarch fired range support with Psychic.

If the Wyvern went for the defenseless butterfly, Temari would swoop in to save Monarch and Bacchus going for a Cross Poison.

Right now, the three of them continue their fight in the air evading the Wyvern's giant maw as Monarch used some of the debris to block the attacks. Temari and Bacchus went for another strike with their respective moves as they kept striking on the giant Grimm, but only got scratches on its body. The Wyvern could've had gone to chase them more but it was hit underneath by multiple elemental attacks as it roared in pain, and quickly flew higher to let the rest of the attack to miss.

The Wyvern then looked down to see both of Vic and Nora's Pokemon team below glaring at it while some fought off the Grimms on the ground.

Bunta, Kin, Kakashi, Wooly, and Ferno kept firing at the Wyvern while Gai, Konohamaru, Caimen, and Tiny fought any Grimm of any kind away from their long-range attackers.

Bunta fired an Ice Beam at the left-wing of the Wyvern which partially froze, and is followed by Kakashi and Wooly sending a Thunderbolt and Discharge respectively at the Wyvern.

The Wyvern almost got hit by the two Electric Type Moves, but it was hit by Kin's Hyper Voice which caused it to get stunned from the powerful move and is followed by a Fire Blast by Ferno right on the head.

The three flyers took this opportunity to attack as both Temari and Bacchus use Wing Attack and Cross Poison respectively along with Monarch using Signal Beam at the stunned Wyvern.

As it was finally fed up from the endless assault, the Wyvern roared in anger while the Pokemons only glare fiercely at it.

Back on the destroyed tower, Vic went for a low sweeping attack but the Fake Maiden easily used her ability to fly to evade it, but she was left open to a barrage of bullets and Nora coming down on her with her weapon ready to smash. Without time to dodge, Cinder used her stolen powers to blast the bullets away along with Nora as it sent the eccentric girl rolling on the ground.

"Nora!" Vic called out in worry but he quickly looks to their enemy to deflect the obsidian arrows coming his way.

Ruby, Weiss, Pyrrha, and Ren are now getting worried for the two since the first two aren't good in close range while the latter two are injured.

Cinder kept the pressure by adding the power she stole and launched fireballs at Vic. The young Champion quickly activated his Semblance to boost his body, and he easily cut the attack with his boosted reflexes.

Nora took this time to attack from behind as she swung her hammer at Cinder's back, but the thief knew that she was coming and blasted her away with another fireball.

Vic took this time as well to move forward as he easily deflects the fireballs heading to him with Sol Valor as the three other people behind him open fire for support to the young Champion. When he was close enough, he began to do some insane combos with his staff as he uses his impressive skill with his weapon to disorient Cinder's sturdy mind as she couldn't keep up to Vic's fast attacks, so with a single strong smack to her head caused Cinder to go to the ground with a loud thud with his spear.

Cinder was now furious as she quickly stood up and evade an attack from behind by Nora. The eccentric hammer wielder quickly changes her attack to hit the Maiden's side, but Cinder flew away from the attack and fired a barrage of arrows at her which Nora blast away with the blast from her hammer.

Vic then used his added momentum for an Aura boosted flying kick at the Maiden, but Cinder made a wall of obsidian to block his attack or sprain his ankle. But Vic knew that this would happen and vaulted over the wall, but he was shocked to see Cinder aiming an arrow at him.

As a last ditch effort, Vic used his Semblance to take the hit as he crossed his arms and Sol Valor for the next attack. Cinder then quickly dismissed her bow and fired a large fireball at the open Champion as the large ball of flames blew on his face and sent him to the edge of the tower with Sol Valor anchoring him to the concrete before he could fell off.

"Vic!" Nora called out in worry as she was horrified to see her brother near the edge of the tall tower, but she was blindsided by a barrage of fireballs and was sent back to the small group.

Cinder look at Nora and the rest with an arrogant smile and said, "How arrogant of you children, to think that you can beat me with this power that I have obtained, and here you are trying yet failed."

"Even if lose, we will stop you no matter what," Ruby said in determination but she knew that she can't beat her with Weiss alone, and the three others were injured.

"A pity to you then," Cinder mocked as she prepared a massive fireball over her head.

Ruby, Weiss, Nora, and Ren stood protectively around Pyrrha as the said redhead pleaded the four to run away and let her do it for them. Cinder then threw the fireball at them as Vic could only look in shock.

"No!!" Vic shouted at them as he reach out with his right hand with his voice echoing through the tower.

Then a wonder has happened before them.

The ball of fire suddenly getting smaller and smaller and are going to Vic's open right palm as the young Champion suddenly feel more stronger and energized as his flames are now burning blue.

The one who saw this look in shock at what they saw, and Cinder was furious at what she saw.

"Impossible," Cinder muttered and thought. 'Nothing can match a Maiden's power yet this child. This CHILD! Absorbed my attack! He is a obstacle I need to destroy to accomplish my conquest.'

Cinder prepared her bow loaded with arrows and aimed at the still shocked Vic.

She let the arrows fly at the younger Valkyrie as he saw the arrows flying at him, and could only cross his arms to protect himself with his new flames.

Yet miracles do happen despite the low chances.

A bright is coming down to the tower in immense speed and landed in front of Vic as a glowing symbol of a cross-like wheel appeared in front of him and breaks the arrows by contact.

The light then died down and everyone was shock to what they saw.

Standing in front of Vic is Jaune standing confidently in front of him weapon in hand, but it wasn't Crocea Mors, it looks like the same but have a different look.

The sword blade looked the same but has the added black coloring on it and a black and white tassel on the pommel.

The shield now bears a large black stripe on the middle with the Arc emblem on the middle of it and is on the middle of the same symbol that broke the arrows with four emeralds on the spear like ends of the wheel.

"Sorry I'm late. I had a meeting with someone," Jaune said confidently as he points his sword at the fake Maiden.

"And what will that puny weapon of yours will ever do to me?" Cinder mocked as she created six fireballs behind her.

"Well let's see if I can. I'm gonna show the world again why my great grandfather called this the Yellow Death," Jaune said as he went to a stance that Pyrrha showed him.

The others are worried for the young knight, but Vic felt confident for him when he felt a familiar aura around Crocea Mors.

"And who do you think you are?" Cinder mocked again but Jaune countered it with a smirk.

"A Knight that protects the innocent."

Round Three then commences.

Cinder fired all of the fireballs but Jaune's upgraded shield just made them bounce off the gilded piece of metal on his hand, and cut through two of them. Jaune then went forward to bring down his blade unto Cinder, but the fake Maiden flew away from it as the blade made a deep cut through the concrete.

Cinder then create her bow again to fire a salvo of arrows at Jaune, which rain upon the blonde knight like rain droplets, but he quickly slam his shield to the floor to create the same barrier that easily broke arrows from earlier and he continued his advancement.

Cinder quickly made more fireballs and fired them at the young knight in rapid succession, but Jaune quickly set the barrier again to block the attack again without breaking a sweat.

Vic then took this opportunity to charge at the distracted Maiden and thrust his weapon to her left, but Cinder quickly fired arrows at him to defend himself.

Jaune then took this opportunity as well to come closer to the Maiden to bring down his sword unto her which she quickly evaded, but Vic instantly went up to her spinning with Sol Valor on his hand.

The others now see a good opportunity and fired at will at the Maiden while Nora also went in again to fight.

Now with three people fighting her up close along with three people fighting her in the distance, Cinder slowly getting overwhelmed by their endless onslaught as she tried to use all of her abilities to go toe to toe with them. She slowly getting tired and agitated by their persistence that she gathers up more power to fight back.

Vic, Jaune, and Nora simultaneously jump at Cinder at the same time as their weapons are aimed at the thief along with some more bullets from Ren, Ruby, and Weiss. Cinder released all of the stored-up power and released a shockwave of Aura that sent everything back as Vic, Jaune, and Nora were sent rolling to a wall while the other three were swept off their feet by the force of the force is exerted.

"This ends now!" Cinder roared in anger as she flew high to the sky and made a massive fireball twice her size, and she immediately threw it at them.

Jaune quickly slams his shield to the ground to make a barrier to match its size, but as it collides to the shield of energy, Jaune began to feel the strain from the power the fireball continued as he was flown back hard as he successfully stops it, but Cinder already has another on hand.

"I could've let you go but I change my mind, all of you will turn to ashes just like I did to that arrogant fool," Cinder then looked to her right and saw Temari, Bacchus, and Monarch flying away from the Wyvern as it keeps trying to bite them. "Starting with those three."

Vic and Nora could only look in shock as they tried to stand up, but couldn't due to their injuries as they could only look in horror. The others were also terrified but not as much as Ruby as she could only look in absolute fear as Cinder threw the massive fireball at them and could only shake in fear and anger.

"NO!!!!!" Ruby shouted in defiance as her eyes glow in a brilliant white light with her arms behind her.

The light then envelops her and it quickly spread out far and wide at Cinder and the Wyvern, and easily overwhelmed the fireball that has been fired at them due to the stronger force the light holds.

"WHAT!!!!" Cinder shouted in complete shock as the light reached her and continued spreading.

.

Everything was blank only darkness, but there were four voices heard.

"Holy Arceus! Shori get over here quick!" Seier's voice was heard.

"On it!" Then it was Shori's.

"It's alright. I got ya, kiddo. I got ya." Then it was Qrow's.

There was then a pause followed by radio static.

Someone then sighs as a new voice was heard, "Nothing."

"Just turn it off. Without the CCT, there's no point." Qrow said to the newcomer.

"Communication down across the entire Kingdom, no way to contact the outside world... and Ozpin's still missing."

"Yeah."

"This is bad, Qrow."

"Yeah, this is bad."

"Just be glad they are safe and sound," Shori said.

"Well let's go quick," Seier said as silence followed again.

Ruby Rose was in pain.

She could only see darkness and she feel only pain, but she slowly opens her eyes and looks over and see that she was in an unfamiliar bed, wearing gray pajamas. Birds are tweeting and the sunlight is streaming onto the wall behind the bed's headboard. She also a man sitting on a chair sleeping.

The man has blond hair that has two small strands sticking out from the top and blue eyes. His facial hair consists of a soul patch and small stubble along his jawline. On his right arm is a tattoo of his emblem, which resembles a heart. His hair was once a bright shade of gold, but in his older age, it has notably grayed somewhat - still blond, but far more subdued.

He wears brown cargo shorts with a dark brown belt, black shoes, a red bandana on his left arm, and a brown leather vest over a tan dress shirt with the right sleeve cut off. For armor, he wears a metal spaulder, leather vambrace, and a brown fingerless glove all on his right arm.

She sits up and quietly sighs which caused the man to stir awake.

"Ruby!" They shouted in worry as he gets up and runs to kneel beside her bed. "You're awake!"

"Ugh... what happened?" Ruby asked as she wanted some answers.

"Your uncle Qrow found you, unconscious. He got you out of there, though, and brought you home safe." The man answered.

She looked down for a moment than faced him, "Wait! Yang! Is she alright!?"

"Uh... She's uh... she's gonna be alright. I think she's just... I think it's just gonna take some time for her to get used to things. She's too strong to let this stop her," The man said as he covered his eyes and sniffled, and looks up with a smile. "I'm just glad to have my girls back at home."

"What happened to the school?! And Vale?! Were they able to clear out the Grimm?"

"Things at Vale are under control, but the school... It's... it's not that simple. That thing, whatever it is, doesn't seem to be dead. Don't get me wrong, you did a number on it. But it's not disappearing. It's... kind of... frozen. I know that doesn't sound too bad, but it keeps attracting more Grimm to the school."

Ruby tilted her head in confusion and said, "I did... what?"

"Hmm?" The man then looked at her in confusion as well.

"You said I did a number on it. What do you mean?"

"I... Look that's not important right now. We can talk about it later. Things are just... kind of a mess."

"It's always a mess."

They then saw Qrow in the room by the door as he quickly finished his drink.

"Mind if we have a minute?" Qrow asked the blonde.

"What, I can't stay here?!" The man said in bewilderment.

"Tai. Please," Qrow said with a little more force.

The now named Tai stands up sighs and then leans in to kiss Ruby on the forehead.

"I'm glad you're alright," He then said as he began to walk away. "I'll go make us some tea."

Tai glares at Qrow on the way out, but the latter doesn't appear to care. As Qrow approaches Ruby's bed, he grabs the chair and drags it with him. He then spins it around to face the bed and sits in it with a significant slouch, crossing one leg over the other.

"So, how you feeling?" Qrow asked his niece.

"Um... I kind of hurt... all over."

Qrow then chuckled, "That makes sense, after what you did." He then crossed his arms.

"You guys keep saying that! That I did something! What are you talking about?!"

Qrow then uncrosses his arms and legs then leaned forward. "What's the last thing you remember?"

"I ran up the side of the tower, and when I got to the top, I..." Ruby then gasp as worry was shown on her face. "My friends! Are they...?"

"Don't worry they're okay," Qrow assured his niece but she was still scared.

"W-Well... Cinder was about to fire at Temari, Bacchus, and Monarch-"

"The giant bird, bat, and bug?" Qrow interjected as Ruby nods.

"They were still being chased by that giant Grimm and... and I feel so scared that they would be gone... Then everything went white."

"Anything else?"

"I remember... my head hurting," Ruby could only answer.

"The night you met Ozpin, what was the first thing he said to you?"

"I... I don't know. I think it was something about..."

"Silver eyes. That's an extremely rare trait."

"So?"

"You're special, Ruby. And not in the "Daddy loves his special angel" kind of way. You're special the same way your mom was. Remnant's full of legends and stories, some of them true, some made up. But there's one Oz told me from a very long time ago. Back before Huntsmen, before Kingdoms, it was said that those born with silver eyes were destined to lead the life of a warrior. You see, the creatures of Grimm, the most fearsome monsters mankind had ever encountered, were afraid of those silver-eyed warriors. They were the best of the best. It was said that even a single look from one of these fighters could strike a Grimm down. Heh. It's a ridiculous story," Qrow said with a snort.

"But... you think that I might be..."

Qrow chuckled again and said, "Well, a giant monster is currently frozen on top of Beacon Tower. And you're here, safe in bed."

Qrow then stood up to walk over the window and leaned on the sill to look outside.

"Wait, wait, how did you know what Ozpin said to me... the night we met?" Ruby asked.

"All those missions I go on... all the times I'm away in some far-off place... it's been for Ozpin. But he's missing now. Something's been set in motion. With Oz gone, I'll have to pick up where he left off."

"Then what can I do? If I'm so special, then I can help, right?"

"You really wanna help? Get some rest. You're in no condition to go anywhere right now," He then went for the door. "Besides, our enemy's trail leads to Haven. That'd be quite a trip for a pipsqueak like you." He then winks at her and said, "Catch ya later, kiddo."

As Qrow left Ruby sits alone for a while. She looks at the window that Qrow looked out of, then stares at herself in a mirror hanging on the wall across from her bed.

Yang sits alone in a spare bedroom, staring out a window. Her remaining piece of Ember Celica rests on the nightstand next to the bed. Ruby stands in the doorway.

"Yang?" Ruby said to her sister.

She waits for a moment, but when she receives no response from Yang, she turns to leave.

"Ruby."

Ruby turns back around, and Yang turns her head to look at her younger sister, tears now in her eyes. Ruby runs over and hugs her.

"I'm so glad you're okay!" Ruby said in relief.

"But I'm not," Yang said as Ruby frowns and released the hug.

"It's all gone - the school, Vale, and..." Yang then trailed off as she looked to her severed arm.

"Yang, where are Weiss and Blake?" Ruby asked.

"Weiss' father... came for her."

"What? What do you mean?"

"No one outside of Vale knows what happened here. Before the tower fell, the last thing people saw was Atlas attacking innocent people and Grimm destroying the city. Everyone's scared. No one knows who to trust. So, Weiss' father came to take her back to Atlas, where he thinks it's safe. She's gone," Yang answered.

"Well, what about-" Ruby could've continued till she saw Yang with a face of rage.

"And Blake ran! Sun saw her go. After we got to the city, she just...ran!" Yang yelled angrily with betrayal in her eyes.

"But... why!?" Ruby asked in shock.

"I don't know... and I don't care."

"There has to be a reason she-"

"No, there doesn't! Sometimes bad things just happen, Ruby!" Yang yelled at her sister as Ruby flinched from her sister's outburst.

"So, what do we do now?"

"You can do whatever you want. I'm gonna lie here."

"Yang..." Ruby look at her in worry.

"Just leave me alone."

Ruby slowly leaves the room, but she pauses in the doorway, looking over her shoulder to say one last thing.

"I love you."

A leaf falls from the tree outside Yang's window and slowly drifts to the ground. Over time, the ground becomes covered in snow.

Ruby steps outside, wearing a backpack, and quietly shuts the front door. She looked behind her to see the entire Team JNPR, but Vic wasn't with them.

"So Vic did go to Atlas huh?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah, I might be his sister, but I'm not forcing him to be away from Penny," Nora admitted as she knew that her brother needed this after everything that happened.

She also has her Pokeballs on a pink belt around her waist.

"Well let's go, Haven isn't going anywhere," Pyrrha said but a little nudge from Jaune stopped her.

Crocea Mors was back to its original design as the other form was for emergencies, that was what Jaune said.

"We know, so don't worry about it," Jaune said as Pyrrha blushed.

"Sorry," Pyrrha blushed as Jaune could only smile and kissed her on the cheek which caused her to blush to the same color of her hair.

After multiple months, Jaune and Pyrrha are finally a couple.

(You hear these fans! Arkos is alive here!)

"And if we ever cross Atlas, Vic could give us some easy access there," Ren added.

"This would be the most dangerous journey of our lives, like that comic that I always read," Jaune said.

"And we wouldn't be here to leave our friend to do this alone," Pyrrha said as Ruby smiled.

"Then let's get started."

The five begin their long trek, down the road leading away from Tai's home.

Away from all of this, standing on a balcony of a hotel in Vale are both Shori and Seier with Seier pregnant.

After the battle, Shori finally confessed his love to Seier and proposed to her a month after the battle, and both of them were happily wedded by that same month.

"So what do you think happens now," Shori said as he was behind his newly wedded wife with his arms around her neck.

"I don't know yet but I don't think we have to worry," Seier said as she rubbed her pregnant belly.

"Why do you say that?" Shori asked as he began to cuddle her.

"Because I already heard it," Shori then look in interest.

"Oh do tell?"

"Well it goes like this," Seier then looked to the sky as hope entered her heart.

"A reaper with a pair of silver," She thought of Ruby.

"A runaway princess of the north," She thought of Weiss.

"A future leader of the Faunus race," She thought of Blake.

"A raging dragon," She thought of Yang.

"A knight of old," She thought of Jaune.

"An idealistic warrior of lightning, " She thought of Nora.

"A warrior maiden," She thought of Pyrrha.

"A survivor of a calamity," She thought of Ren.

"A freed puppet," She thought of Penny.

"A boy who brings the flames of victory," She thought of Vic.

"And lastly a boy with a hundred souls and a young bard that is the voice of the people, these people will bring a new dawn to this world and to ours, where the balance is finally restored to normal, the longest war ever existed has finished; there will be hardship in their journey, but they will succeed till the end with the help of many," Seier then finished telling her vision as Shori look at her curiosity.

"Who are the last two?" Shori asked as Seier shrug.

"I don't know either, but I shouldn't feel worried," Seier assured her husband.

The two then look up to the sky as they saw Alpha and Fox fighting again for Temari's affection, despite not being here.

Nevertheless, their faith didn't waver at all as they continued to look at the sky with smile on their faces.

And that is it for the end of the third Volume and the beginning of the fourth Volume!

I'm so happy that I finally reached this far in the series unlike my other stories which I give up in the second arc, third if its my first RWBY fanfiction that I failed, and I am grateful that I am able to continue this story along with Arc Music Album and Watching the Elements.

Also, I am tempted to do a Pokemon NegaiShipping story in my account, I am just a big fan of NegaiShipping because I love Iris' exotic looks, but I did show the characters for it in Arc Music Album.

I'm just telling you now that I suck at made up stories, except for reactions, and you must expect those stories to be very long to update.

I need a clear visual for my stories to be great, so I am happy for the RWBY Fandom to have the transcripts for it, but I hate that the others doesn't have any of it.

I look at the Fandom for BNHA, Naruto, and Fairy Tail, and I found no clear transcripts on those three! BNHA has none! Naruto doesn't even show what is happening in it, and Fairy Tail doesn't have everything!

If more people ever want to create their story, then update the fandom for a more clearer transcript! The lines should be there and what is happening during it should be in there too. Basically show what happens first then add the lines like RWBY's.

But for now, I appreciate your love and support to my stories as this would be one of my stories that would be completed, so see you guys on the next chapter.

Vic out Peace.
