Adrien:

It was another day at a school. Everyone was bundled up in coats and scarves. I was still trying to get over the fact that Marinette called me her prince. I think of myself more of a king and Marinette my queen. Everyone was huddled together. I found Marinette and the others near the front of the school. "Hey guys!" I called out to them.

"Hey Adrien!" Alya waved.

"Hey dude." Nino said. We did our complicated handshake. I than saw Marinette wearing a cat hat.

She's so adorable. I thought to myself. "Hey Marinette."

"Hey Adrien." She replied. She sounded so normal around me ever since we got together. She was less nervous and doesn't run away anymore.

"ADRIKINS!" Chloe ran up to me and hugged me.

"Chloe, can you please get off?" I said as I tried to get her off of me. She didn't let go. "Chloe, get off of me." I demanded. My voice was stern. Chloe got off of me. "I hate to break it to you but this is annoying me a lot. You hugging me and just annoying me to pieces, I've had it. I'm going to tell you this once, stop hugging me and bugging me and calling me 'Adrikins'. I can't stand it. I don't mind being friends but this has got to stop." I don't know what came over me but ever since we were kids, she has been acting crazy around me and I officially had it. She was shocked at this. Alya, Nino and Marinette were silent. That was until Marinette stepped toward.

"For someone who has had to deal with your shit for 4 years, I think I speak for everyone when I say we're done. You're just a spoiled bitch who takes pleasure in making people feel like crap!" Marinette's eyes were full of anger but, what happened next totally changes her expression.

"You think I'm the bitch, when you never even met yourself." Chloe got up and ran away and tripped on her heels. She got back up and walked the rest of the way with a little limp. I looked at Marinette who's eyes were completely changed. Now, they were full of disappointment but not towards Chloe, but towards herself.

Marinette:

"Chloe, can you please get off?" Adrine said as he tried to get her off of him. She didn't let go. "Chloe, get off of me." He demanded, stern and serious. Chloe got off of him. "I hate to break it to you but this is annoying me a lot. You hugging me and just annoying me to pieces, I've had it. I'm going to tell you this once, stop hugging me and bugging me and calling me 'Adrikins'. I can't stand it. I don't mind being friends but this has got to stop." I stepped forward. I didn't know what to say but what I did say, no one expected.

"For someone who has had to deal with your shit for 4 years, I think I speak for everyone when I say we're done. You're just a spoiled bitch who takes pleasure in making people feel like crap!" My eyes were full of anger for some reason. I didn't know why I said those things, or where I learned those words but they just, came out.

"You think I'm the bitch, when you never even met yourself." Chloe got up and ran away and tripped on her heels. She got back up and walked the rest of the way with a little limp. My eyes were filled with disappointment as I watched Chloe go to the locker room, but not towards her, towards me, for something that happened so many years ago.

"Wow girl, I didn't know you had it in you. Where did you learn such language?" Alya said.

I turned to look at her. "I-I don't know." I turned back to the door Chloe went through. I turned back to Alya and all our firneds were surrounding us. They were talking about how I stood up to Chloe and saying how cool I was. It was all anyone has been talking about. I didn't feel good about it at all.

Adrien:

I went to visit Marinette for day 3 of 12 days of you and me. Marinette was on her balcony, probably waiting for me. "Hey princess." Marinete jumped and turned around to look at me. She had her hand over her chest as if I scared her.

"Chat, you scared me." She said. She was breathing heavily but calmed down after few seconds.

"How is it that I scared you when you knew I was coming today?" I asked. Marinette turned around and looked into the void that was Paris at night.

"It's been a long day." She said quietly.

I took a step forward. "I know. I know about the incident at school, the one with you and Chloe." I stepped forward and put my gift for Mari on a table.

Marinette turned around, confused about how I know. "How?"

"I have my sources. Let's just say, a little birdie told me." I paused and took a few more steps toward her. "Anyway, I want to know what she said that made you so sad." I wrapped my arms around her waist.

Tears started to form in her eyes as she explained. "W-we knew each other way back when. We were pretty close. She was nice and not the brat she is today. It was when she needed a friend the most, I betrayed." Marinette leaned her head on my chest as she cried.

"Hey hey, it's ok. It's ok." I said. I put a hand on her head as I tried to comfort her.

"I'm the reason so many people were hurt. I'm the reason why so many people have been akumatized." She cried.

That was it. I pulled Marinette away from me. I had a firm grip on her shoulder and I looked directly at her. Her head was down as she cried. "Look at me." I said. She didn't look up. "Look at me." I repeated. She finally looked up. Tears stained her face. "None of those akumas caused by Chloe are on you. You didn't turn her into the person she is today. Sure you made one mistake but that doesn't mean you caused all of this." She did a weak smile.

"Really?" She said through the tears.

"Yes, now open this." I grabbed the gift I got her. "It might make you feel better."

Marinette whipped her tears and took the gift. She unwrapped it and inside was a calendar with the cover being our very first picture together. "A whole 12 month calendar of me and you. Mostly me." Marinette opened it up and saw pictures of us on every month. Marinette looked up at me and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Thank you." I hugged her back. We just sat there for a moment.

"Ok, I think you should get some sleep. You had a long day and who knows how long it will be tomorrow."

"What about your-"

"I don't need it." I watched her snuggle up in her bed and I leaped into the night.
