Ai: "Wow, it's so big!"

Ky: "Alright, you comfortable?"

Ki: "Yeah thanks, oof, man this kid is getting really big."

About a month after our wedding Kyousuke and I finally got around to taking Aiko to the beach with the Akagis, Kanako and Jiro in tow, making it a family's day.

Ky: "Just stay here and relax while I look after Aiko, Sena, Kanako you two okay with staying with her?"

Se: "Sure, I'm not much of a beach goer, I burn easily."

Ka: "The sun is the nemesis of youth."

Ky: "…Alright then, okay Aiko let's get in the water!"

Ai: "Yeah."

Ko: "Yeah let's get our surf on!"

Ka: "So mama, how are you feeling?"

Ki: "Terrible."

Se: "Yeah, the last couple of months are the worst but just think, soon enough you'll be hugging your baby, the one you and Kyousuke made together."

Ki: "Yeah."

Ka: "So you and Kouhei thinking about making one?~"

Se: "Oh absolutely not, unlike Kirino I'm not daring enough to risk something going bad."

Ki: "I get that though if that's the way you feel I suggest one of you get yourselves fixed like I plan on doing later. Not that long ago I felt the same way you did then one little mistake and I end up with this adorable little parasite."

Na: "{Kick}."

Ki: "That's right, you heard me."

Ka: "Haha this little guy has mean kick to him."

Se: "Hmhm takes after his mother, haah, yeah, I should probably talk to Kouhei about that later, better to get fixed than have to constantly worry about contraception."

Ki: "Hey Kanako, have you heard from Ran?"

Ka: "Yeah, been following her and her new boyfriend's social media pages."

Kanako pulled out her phone and showed the pictures Ran posted with Tashiro and his family at Lake Michigan. We found out earlier that his family owned a house near there and while they weren't filthy rich, they were pretty well off.

Se: "Wow, is that really all fresh water? It goes all the way to the horizon like the ocean."

Ki: "The water may be a little murky but it'd be nice to go to a beach where the water doesn't leave behind any residue and you don't have to worry about dangerous wildlife but still has surfable waves."

Ka: "Kirino you surf?"

Ki: "Only when the occasion comes up and if there's a rental shack available, I don't even own a board but I still enjoy doing it."

Se: "So do you miss her? Ran I mean."

Ki: "Yeah, we may not have been the closest of friends but she was a good one, maybe if she's still with Tashiro we can take a trip with her to his place next summer."

Ka: "I hope my kid comes out before then, can't be bringing a newborn on a plane."

Ki: "Don't worry we'll postpone if we have to."

Ka: "You guys are so sweet~"

Ki: "You may be a bitch half the time but you're still a friend."

As we sat there chatting Aiko and the boys came back to our spot.

Ich: "Ah, man, playing in the ocean really makes you parched, I need a beer."

Ko: "This look like a jellyfish sting to you?"

Ich: "Ugh don't show me that!"

They grabbed some drinks out of the cooler we brought and sat down on the beach towels next to us.

Ky: "Here you go."

Ki: "Thanks."

Kyousuke, still keeping his hands off of alcohol, grabbed a soda and tea and handed me the tea before lying down next to me.

Ky: "Ah, today's a good day."

Ich: "Heheh hey Yukio, want a sip of my beer, just don't tell your mom."

Se: "I'm sitting right here you know!"

Ich: "I'm kidding."

Yu: "Nah, my dad let me try some a while ago, I didn't like it."

Se: "What?! That little son of a…"

Yu: "I didn't want to try it at first but Mr. Kousaka said it was okay, he said something about curiosity killed the cat."

Se&Ki: "Wait you encouraged him too?!"

Yu: "I didn't actually swallow any."

Ki: "What kind of idiot gives alcohol to a minor?! Do you intend on doing that with our kids too?!

Ky: "H-Hey it's not like we made him chug it, I just thought it'd be better for him to try a little under our supervision rather than let him get peer pressured into it and possibly end up in a bad situation. Like Yukio mentioned, curiosity killed the cat, I believe when it comes to children sometimes it's best to carefully pacify their curiosity before they attempt to do so by themselves."

Se: "…Jeez, you could've at least told me about it."

Ky: "I meant to but I forgot, didn't really see it as a big deal, heck I remember when I was young, Mr. Kiyoshi and my dad let me try some alcohol, they were drinking some strong stuff so I spit it out almost immediately,."

Ki: "Idiot {poke}."

Ky: "Ow."

Ki: "You old fashioned types are really careless about child safety."

Ky: "Hey I think us "old fashioned types" have a lot to offer when it comes to parenting especially with raising boys."

Ki: "Whatever, you just better remember to run things by me first before you go through with anything, idiot."

Ky: "Yeah, yeah, hey Aiko you want a beer?"

Ai: "No!~"

Ki: "What did I just say!?"

Ky: "Well I'm ready to get back in the water, {kiss} later honey~"

Ki: "Hey!"

Before leaving Kyousuke patted my swollen belly.

Ky: "{Pat, pat} Later kiddo, let's go Aiko."

Ai: "Yeah!"

Yu: "Wait for me!"

With that Kyousuke, Aiko and Yukio ran back to the ocean.

Ki: "Jeez the things I have to put up with."

Ka: "Hey at least he's not boring."

Ki: "Hmmm, yeah and he's pretty good in bed too I guess."

Se: "Pfffff!"

After taking some more time to relax I finally got in the water.

Ki: "Haah this is nice, hm so little guy, how does it feel to be where all life began?"

Na: "…"

Ki: "Yeah we're not at the most interesting area, maybe after you're born I can take you to an aquarium."

Na: "…{Kick}."

Ki: "We can also go to the zoo if you're up for it, I know for a fact your sister would love visiting the petting zoo."

Na: "{Kick}."

Ki: "…I can't wait to see you, to watch as you grow and develop your own personality, I wonder what kind of person you'll be. As much as I hate to admit this, I do hope you become somewhat like your father just without the easily inflatable head."

Ky: "Heheh you seriously talking to the baby?"

Ki: "Geh!"
