"Is it working?" Mary softly questioned the group.

"No clue," Sam responded.

The group of Sam, Dean, Mary, and Bobby sat watching the meditation session led by Celine and overseen by Castiel.

"It better be working," Bobby muttered. "The full moon is tonight. We don't have much choice."

Dean stayed quiet as he continued watching. Cas had a calm look on his face, but that did tell him much. The angel was looking on with a spellbook at hand. He would speak to the two women every so often. The room was tense, watching the three work.

Although it was hours until the moon would be fully in the sky, no one moved from their places. The girls were awake and were having a nearly silent conversation with each other. Other than notifying the adults that they were hungry, they only talked to one another. Taking the prompting, Mary got up and made dinner for everyone, needing something to do with her hands, a task that didn't take enough time.

Although the food was now on the table, the adults didn't eat anything. Emma was curled up in her father's arms, slowly putting handfuls in her mouth. At the same time, Riley sat on her knees in a chair being slightly neater than her counterpart. Riley was bouncing on her knees and barely paying attention to the food on her plate and kept glancing up toward the living room where her mother was and toward Emma. The children, soon being done, went back to what they were doing before hand.

Dean looked down from the scene in front of him when he felt a pulling on his pant leg. Emma was holding her arms out to her father yet again, barely able to keep her eyes open. Picking her up, Dean slowly brushed his daughter's hair while cooing soft nothings until she fell deeply asleep.

"I think Celine was right," Sam stated.

"Huh?" Dean asked.

"I mean, look at her. She knows something."

All the adults turned their attention to the dirty blonde toddler. She stood in the walkway that leads from the kitchen to the living room. She was anxiously looking between all three adults in the living room before quickly glancing back at Emma and then refocusing her attention to the living room. She stayed unnaturally quiet when a look on her face that didn't belong on a child.

"Children are said to be more perceptive," Bobby said.

"Doesn't help that she can see auras like her mother," Mary mentioned. "She can probably see that we're all worried about something."

"I feel bad," Dean sighed. "She's way too young to be involved in this."

"Too bad things don't care how young the people they affect are," Sam said. "I mean..."

Sam was cut off by a soft whimpering from the child they were talking about. Everyone stood up and made their way over. Mary picked up the young toddler, trying to comfort the young girl. Looking over the scene, Celine now had her eyes open, kneeling in front of Emily, resting their foreheads together. Celine was softly talking to the young woman, whatever it stayed between them. A dark aura that was able to be seen by everyone seemed to be grabbing Emily and pulling her. The girl looked calm all the way through, still slowly mumbling to herself. Sweat started to dribble down her face, showing the amount of effort the task was taking.

After what felt like forever, it ended. The dark sight went away from Emily as she fell forward as the tension holding her back let off. Riley quickly squirmed, trying the get Mary to let her go, which she did, and ran to her mother. Before she got there, Celine quickly grasped the girl and pulled her into her lap.

"It's alright. It's not hurting her right now. She's safe right now," Celine loudly said to her daughter so everyone could hear her.

"Right now?" Bobby asked, picking up on the specific language.

Celine looked up to answer the older hunter. "They stopped the summoning portion of the spell. That's what you were able to see. Riley and I can still see the locating spell in effect. It's not directly affecting her, but it's there."

"You can still see it?" Sam worriedly asked.

"It's very light, but there," Celine further explained. "When the spell caster gets closer, the spell will become more specific and become more visible. I'll be able to tell you when they get closer. Either way, I say we have until tomorrow evening at the latest. The wards are blocking it some, but... They'll be here sooner rather than later. I don't know what's going on."

"I can still feel them in my head," Emily said from where she tried to gain composure.

"What do you mean?" Dean asked.

"It's like they're whispering to me. A never-ending record of what they want me to join them. It's almost as if they know exactly what to say to get to me. It's terrifying."

"Do you think you'll be able to sleep?" Celine asked.

"Yeah, it's not like they're thoughts I haven't gone to sleep on before. 'You don't fit in.' 'Wouldn't x-y-z be better?' I already have to deal with it."

"You need to keep your strength up. Eat and then go to sleep before the thoughts get too bad. I have a feeling that the intrusion will get worse the closer they get. That goes for all of you," Celine ended, looking at everyone sternly. "We all need to be in top shape to have a hope and a prayer of dealing with tomorrow."

"I'll call Jody," Bobby announced. "Let her know that's she going to have to put something in action soon. We'll all stay here; safety in numbers, especially if they get here earlier than expected. Workup the warding inside the house tonight, and if we have time, touch up the warding on the property."

There was a tense worry still hanging around the room. Although there were determined looks on faces, there was still fear underneath it all. Everyone got up and set forth things that they needed to do before tomorrow came.
